I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.

Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.

I asked T-Mobile if I had the lowest rate; that I had found a cheaper rate from Spectrum. The Chat rep said he would get back to me. Every two minutes I got an assurance that he was working on it. Fifteen minutes later, I told him I would only give him two more minutes. Four minutes later I thanked him for helping me decide to leave T-Mobile. He replied that I had their cheapest plan. I go to the Spectrum store. They say I need to pay off my phone. I go to the T-Mobile store and pay it off. I go to the Spectrum store. They say T-Mobile did not release my phone. I return to T-Mobile: Oh, we can't do that here. Call 611. I call. What's this about? There's a long hold time. Want us to call you back when we're ready? Yes. 30 min later they call. And put me on hold for 18 minutes. I then ask them to release my phone. Why. So I can leave this hellish company. What if we give you a discount on your new phone? No. Release my phone. Well, let me pull up your account. Oh the computer is slow today. Let me put you on hold. Ten minutes later. I need to transfer you to a different department. What can we do to keep your business. You have wasted so much of my time, I will NEVER do business with your company again. Finally they release it. I return to Spectrum. What's your T-Mobile account number? I call 611. It starts again. 20 minutes of pain. Why do you need your account number. My computer is slow. Hold. Only my supervisor can give you your account number. How can we keep your business. GUYS, THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY.

I upgraded my phone plan to the famous go5g plus plan, it was a total nightmare, after trying to fix all the issues (wasn't able to get AAA road assistance, VIX Premium, Netflix, Apple TV) after being transferred multiple times, multiple places of the world, I finally got a great person by the name of Dawn from Oklahoma City Call Center, who went above and beyond, she made sure all the problems were fixed and she continued to call me back as she promised to check that everything was working. I greatly appreciate her effort and her kindness while helping out. I am truly grateful to this amazing woman that aside from all the phone calls and hours we spent on the phone was able to really help me.

I have been a customer with T-Mobile for 15 + years
The last 2 years the service has been the worst ever. Since the merger it seems that the sprit side has taken over the customer service. The over seas call center reads off scripts to answer concerns and is so fake it's not even funny. They say they will help but as soon as you're done talking you will never hear back. They now are so big they just don't care. Loosing customers is part of the matrix so they don't care. The lies are coming from the top of management to the bottom at the stores. I was in a store to compare plans because I was considering a switch to another carrier due to the lack of care and support I have received.
The rep in the store basically said sorry there is nothing that can be done to match or bet the competition pricing. That made my decision very easy. Before sprit came on T-Mobile was very accommodating and cared about us customers. Now they don't care. It's all in the matrix about customers coming and going. Sad to say. I was once proud to have T-Mobile. No am sorry for the billions of people out there that are getting taken advantage of by all the lies. The home internet is the biggest joke. My in laws live in a small rural town in southern Georgia. And they got taken advantage of on the home internet.
It only works for 8 hrs a day and once the sun goes down it's nothing but problems and shut downs. They are elderly and rely on internet. So sad. They grew because they once did care. Now that they are big and making the big bucks there is no care or concern.

I for a supervisor to return my call I've asked that they reviewed the telephone calls so that they would know that I called several times about bad service and still no supervisor has called me back yet but yet they say they are the experts I say to you don't do business with T-Mobile

They are not honest don't bother using giving them your business, calling Canada from the states they will charge 5$ a month the criminal T-Mobile consider Canada is an international call, meaning if you call Canada one time a year they will charge 60$ A year, now everyone understood why I call them criminals thieves.

My mother-in-law was sold four different smartphones from T-Mobile in a two-year time span she could not operate a smartphone she needed a flip phone which T-Mobile did not offer the last phone that she got was a one plus that she paid full price for she has been with T-Mobile for over 15 years but she had to change her number to another carrier that offered a flip phone I went I purchased the phone from her and went to T-Mobile to get it a lot because she only had that phone for 32 days they will not unlock it even though she paid full price. Because it is against their policy it's a total rip-off and I wish they would investigate

Woefully incompetent, incoherent staff mostly India or China. Couldn't get my old number transferred over to new account after several hours of trying with clueless but meticulously proper support.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I ordered their mifi, which did not work. I returned it, have receipt of return, also phone conversation. I started getting a bill for 80 dollars. I called them about it, unless I had the pass code, they would not do anything. All info was sent back and never used. I explained I wasn't paying for product I don't have and she has it right on her screen in front of her. THEY TURNED IT IN TO A COLLECTIONS COMPANY.

T mobile has the worst customer service and will not help you if you have any problems with any your cell phone or i phone regarding your service. I was on hold with t mobile's customer service for almost two hours today waiting to talk with them. I also went to two t mobile stores to get help. So 7 hours later i am finally cancelled with them. I will tell everyone i know how horrible this company is. We had bought a 1 year service for our cell phone. They did not mention that we had agreed to a contract them. After our year was up for this 1 year service. I bought a 1 phone from another company. T mobile kept charging me for the cell phone i was no longer using. No one at t mobile would help me to get this resolved. I would never buy anything from this company again. They will take your money easy. There sales people are very rude when you are trying to get help. This company are thieves and very dishonest. Stay from this company! I want to help others with my advise so you do not get stung like i did. I will never buy anything from them again.

I've called T-Mobile for the last 2 days they think I'm stupid I ordered phones Which you're on backward they never told me they won't backwater I had to receive an email that told me to walk back water when I called the talk to him about it they will offer me a 128 gig phone instead of the 512 gig phone I want it trying to tell me it was compatible it's the same phone and phone I told the guy how stupid do you think I am but apparently they think you're stupid and dumb because they kept offering it to me I would not recommend them to anybody I will tell you to run for the hills before you do business with these idiots

Would it be nice to know they were on backwater before I ordered them Don't get it for about 20 to 30 days

I returned my phone & Watch within 14 days its been over a month since it's been returned to the warehouse but everytime I ask where's my refund it' will be there or it was canceled for some reason excuse after excuse T MOBILE YOU ARE THE WORST!

Worst buying experience I've ever had. Both the salesman and manager lied to us about our monthly bill. We were told our bill would be $200 a month with the 2 free tablets they had on promotion. We were told this MANY MANY times throughout the whole experience.
Our bill did not reflect that when we got it in. We called, the first lady we spoke to said she would call us back, she never did.
The second person we spoke to said that the store lied to us. He stated he would take care of it and got out bill down to $200.37/mo. From here on out. Perfect, we thought.
Fast forward a month and our bill went back up. So we call. The supervisor states that the notes in the system say that the employee we spoke to did a 1 time courtesy discount for us. If we would have known that, we would have cancelled the service then and there. She states there is nothing she can do for us.
We were lied to by the South Mall store, and we were lied to by customer service.
The best part is, the manager stated, even if they go to the recording of the phone call, and the guy did say our bill would be $200/mo. That their would still be nothing that they can do. Not to mention it's past the point we can return everything. So our options are, pay for the service at a higher price than we were quoted on multiple occasions. Or, cancel the service but pay out of pocket for all the devices.
They lied, and even if they realize that they lied, they still won't fix it. Stay far far away from this company and store. Trap artists.

The WORST customer service I've ever experienced!
Run don't walk away from this shyster company!
My mom's caregiver dropped her phone and called for a replacement under the insurance she took out with T Mobile. It took them 3 days to send a replacement phone. They tried to cheat her and sent her an 11 series instead of a replacement for her 12 Pro Max. I spoke to them for her because of her sometimes difficulty with her English plus I suspected when they heard her broken English it made her a target for them to take advantage. Their solution was to send the 11 back and then they would send the 12 out. All and all she would be inconvenienced without an operating phone for what will probably be close to 1 1/2 weeks. I asked to speak with the supervisor after I was told 3-4 times they were "sorry and understood my frustrations" after I asked them what they would do to make up for their mistake? The answer was nothing but they understood my frustrations! When I spoke to the "supervisor" she reiterated the same line T Mobile teaches these parrots in their 101 "Customer Service Class" -I am sorry and I understand your frustrations" This is a company not for their customers but for their dishonest pocketbooks. Would not even overnight her phone to make up for their blunder.
There's a lot better companies offering better service that will value u as their customer and treat u better. Don't waste u'r time ur u'r money with this loser.

The representatives I spoke to demonstrated a lack of knowledge and expertise in addressing my concerns. And the so called manager also dammy as well. They both do not know how to do a simple mathematics. They talk over you while you try to explain. They seemed ill-equipped to provide accurate information or effectively resolve my issues. I encountered conflicting answers and inconsistent advice, which only added to my confusion and frustration. It is disheartening to receive such subpar assistance when seeking help and guidance as a valued customer.

Moreover, the lack of empathy and understanding displayed by your representatives was deeply disappointing. I expected a higher level of professionalism and genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Instead, I encountered dismissive attitudes, apathy towards my concerns, and an overall lack of willingness to go above and beyond to assist me. This kind of treatment is simply unacceptable and does not align with the customer-centric values that T-Mobile claims to uphold.

At my age 71 I expect to make a mistake become confused or aggravated when it comes to learning new features on smartphones. In the last 18 years I've owned no less than 25 different style smartphones...
Honestly. Everything from water damage, dropped and ran over, dropped from a excessive height, and the last phone LG 6 mysteriously just totally quit. I refuse to pay $500 or $700 for God damn phone that's stupid. I'm not trying to impress anybody and there's nobody I want to talk to that f****** bad.
So I ended up replacing it with a T-Mobile cost me $220 phone. I don't even know the model. But here's what I do know. NEVER found anything so complicated user unfriendly malfunctioning lock me out. I can't call or text, even baffle people at T-Mobile trying to make it function correctly. Sun 13th will been 6 days. I've never been so God damn mad wanted to throw this bastard into the outer atmosphere You Know "Space" please forgive my inappropriate language I have two degrees a master on one. I've never had anything in my life so disappointing mind-boggling. I'm really at a loss describing, there's nothing to compare it to. It's that bad. Chris Peters

September of 2021 we switched from Verizon to t mobile with the guarantee that if we were dissatisfied in any way we could return the 2 new phones and owe absolutely nothing. Took phones home and had no service unless walking to the road in front of our rural home 164 feet away. Very next day returned the phones and canceled our contract, and returned to Verizon. We watched the person at tmobile box up the phones for returning. 2 months later without ever receiving any notice from tmobile we got a notice from a collection company that we owed over $1000 for a phone. Went back to the store and got that cleared up. There mistake, it got misplaced. In February again without ever receiving a bill from tmobile we got a notice from collections that we owed $219 again from tmobile, after numerous calls to the service department, the collection agency and the store we were finally told by the collection company that the amount was for tmobile to switch us over and 1 month's service. We finally gave up, not wanting this on our credit report. So one day service with tmobile cost us $226.98

This company sucks big time. The prices are ok & customer service is fair but Tmobile doesnt care if you have to keep upgrading your phone they simply stop selling chargers so you have to upgrade. They are never stocked w product. Numerous problems w their computers n printers cant print a receipt half the time. The ports now I was told I wont be able to find a Single port plug which their dual more expensive ones are CRAP! The reps just say its not us its the lousy COMPANY! WE NEED MORE REGULATION ON CELL PHONES ITS RIDICULOUS TO PRICE GOUGE THE PUBLIC SHAME ON YOU TMOBILE. VERY DISATISFIED I GIVE YOU A ZERO Except for the nice guy who Gave me a single port at the Tyrone store God bless you sir.

I had been dumb enough to use Tmobile for almost 14 yrs. After getting tired of their INCOMPETANCE, I decided to switch carriers because they kept screwing up my bill. As soon as I put my new sim card in, Tmobile locked mine & my Daughters phones, EVEN THOUGH WE OWN THEM! Our phones are paid off and these POS Scumbags are trying to force me to pay them money WHEN I HAVE NOT EVN HAD SERVICE WITH THEM FOR WELL OVER A MONTH AND A HALF. Even after explaining my SEVERE health issues due to having MS for over 35 years, ALL THEY CARED ABOUT WAS TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF ME THAT I DO NOT OWE! They are the worst service provider out there. Do not trust these greedy scumbags, RUN, DONT WALK AWAY FROM TMOBILE!

If you like NOT being informed in the beginning that HULU has issues with T-Mobile Home Internet,
Love being told that if you switch to their new and improved modem/router that all the
HULU issues will be solved, but the issues are worse, and you are thrilled spending hours
On the phone with reps in the Philippines, then by all means sign up for T-Mobile Home Internet.

I moved to T-mobile from other network based on the promises given by T-Mobile, I paid all the termination fee and paid off phones from packet to T-mobile for high speed data, I experienced 1Mbps under the topest plan of T-mobile (Go5G Plus), I reached to Customer Service, they were not ready to find resolution or compensation. All they said is you can leave T-mobile, nothing i can do in harsh tone. Not a customer centric at all. Never ever believe T-mobile.
