I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
I was a Sprint customer for years. It wasn't perfect, but nothing crazy. Once Tmobile came in, it was hell from day 1. Customer service was impossible to reach, and when you could they would just straight up lie to you to get rid of you. They all have fake names and answer questions like bots. It took 2 weeks to activate a new phone because they'd tell me, "just wait 24 hours" over and over.
I tried to be patient, hoping it was just a rough adjustment period. That was years ago. I am finally switching to a new carrier, and they refuse to unlock my (fully paid off) phone.
I was just hung up on after sitting on hold for 25 minutes, because the chat told me (you'll never guess) I need to wait 24 hours for my phone to magically fix itself.
If you have any self respect, you'd be better off tying two tin cans together than subjecting yourself to this cesspool if a company.

The company is very shady and manipulates the customer into signing up for contracts using strategic manipulation. Working for Carl the account executive was the worst he would trick and manipulate older people and veterans to sign up for things he even knows isn't something they wanted or asked for. The worst part was the sexual abuse he do to the men their. I'm a female employee and I've seen the video of how he would follow male employees to assert dominance and leverage promotions over "coffee breaks" what a despicable person! Be safe you guys

I have had T-Mobile for about 5+ years. I have an iPhone and their 5G home internet. Their service has degraded in all dimensions: reliability, customer service and accountability. They have performed unplanned maintenance on their tower, given us no notice and at some point in recent months both the phone and data services have gone down completely. Their customer service is offshore and utterly useless. They just placate me with promises of getting better while their service just degrades. I'm going to switch to a more reliable service.

T-mobile/Sprint is horrible customer service! They keep you on hold for 50 minutes or more! They put equipment on your bill that is not activated/ you didn't approve of. It's always hard to get someone on the phone. I will be leaving this company. Sprint was better. I'll be going to Verizon

This is a scam company. Network coverage is terrible, the network works well only in the city, if you travel a long way away, change your carrier. I switched to another telecoms operator and saved my number, so Mobil drove me into debt like for another month of use ($ 75), and not talking about it! If I knew this, then I would not have left this phone number for myself. Very expensive internet and very few gigabytes.

Back in August I added a 2nd phone to my account for my wife from T mobile. It was suppose to be free for a charge of less than $80/month...and it was for 2 months, but then the bill went up $33 for the phone. Customer service can't fix it. I am completely dissatisfied and feel CHEATED!

Just started with T-Mobile earlier this week after leaving Verizon. It took more than 5 hours to purchase a plan for two phones. The price changed at least 6 times before we made the final purchase. It has not been a week and we received our first bill and its already $30 more than discussed. We also purchased two kids watches for our sons. I've been on with customer service for more than an hour and I'm still not sure she understands my problem. I'm worried that I will have to return to the store and spend another 4 hours to set up the watches.

I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile last spring. Though in the US (California) I seemed to drop calls more frequently, I recently traveled around Europe for three weeks and was blown away by the incredible and free coverage. I got text and data totally free with calls for just 20 cents a minute.
My phone was the only one that was reliable among me and my friends - for mapping, texting and data. Well done, T-Mobile! My trip would have been very different without their service. I'd recommend T-Mobile to everyone. In addition, their customer service is excellent.

10 month saga. Started in August includes 5 different phones. All of which dropped calls, didn't allow recipients to hear me and didn't allow calls to be made. My husband's flip phone had no issue. When I finally gave up was told by May I would only be responsible for few days of service. Final bill was $117 for phone which they refused to take back. BEWARE

The absolute worst people to ever deal with! No one knows what they are doing when u call. All I wanted to do was order a new phone and it was the worst experience of my life! I wish I could give T-Mobile 0 stars. When I called probably the 5th time in one day about the phone I was trying to order they told me they didn't have my phone number, email or even the order number on file lol I said that's funny that you don't have any of that info but withdraw money from my account to pay my bill automatically every month which has never ever been late …. Total idiots!

In an effort to provide the most unbiased review. T-mobile is like watching a roller coster lot of up's and down. Depending on if you have a family plan or if your by self.if you have your own plan with one line than yes, by all means go with it. They offer great one line service and on time bill and arrangements help. But, family plan worst mistake ever hidden fees and the app is very hard to control more Than 2 lines and hidden fees, plus 10 dollar customer service fee for not being able help with your bill problem or just making it worst.
Tip for consumers:
This company is all talk but when it comes to good service depending on the number of the representative who picks up the phone is how your day will go. Some days you'll have amazing helpful people. Other day horrible know it all's make sure you record the conversation with T-mobile. To cover your self because depending on the results and representative who you speak to will depend on your help.

Chester, employee #******* and Chloe employee #******* gave me all the reasons why my service has not been fixed the last 2 years. I've been given all the excuses, they don't care if I lose money due to bad cell phone signal (5 bars and hangs up on all my customers), but they sure want their over priced bill paid every month! I've been with T-mobile for 11 years, service and customer service gets worse every year!

Since sprint changed to t-mobile, they are a sad excuse for a business. Spent more than 2 hours on the phone being transferred from one place and person to another. And being given the run around. Because they sent me a replacement phone that is worse than the first. I can't wait for my contract to expire in 11 months. I will never be a customer of t mobile again. Sprint was great with customer service and support. T-mobile is the worst phone service ever. Don't let them lie to you. And customer service has no problem telling you lies.

I do not have an account with tmobile. However, I'm being charged on my cc monthly. Customer service is not in usa. They won't let you speak to the fraud dept. There is no way to resolve. They refused to close the account that was set up by a fraudster that has my ss#. I recommend folks stay clear of tmobile. They took 417.00 so far and the meter is still running.

Spotty services, slow internet, poor customer service. I was on the phone for over an hour to make a claim on my not charging phone under insurance. 5 days no replacement. I thought the merge would provide better overall quality. It has not.

I have never had problems with Sprint for 30 years. Now that T-mobile has taken over, all I've had are major problems. No service, not registered to a network, only emergency calls allowed, etc. and the worst customer service ever. No one can help solve the problems so I've been without service for days on all 4 lines, which has never happened before. (I'm using my husband's phone to type this review as I am currently 'not registered to a network'... going on 1 1/2 days now. I've spent over 2 and a half hours on the phone to customer service and tech support today as well. All I get is 'the towers are being upgraded. This may take 4-5 days'.
I would NEVER recommend T-mobile to anyone. It's not worth the hassle. Absolutely disgusted with T-mobile and I will be switching to AT&T or Verizon.

We called and talked to three different T mobile employees about adding 2 lines. We were told yes we could by the store in Union South Carolina and Spartanburg stores also. We go to add the lines but told no, our 8month old plan is obsolete. We can not add lines or get special deals. If you tell a customer something then it should be up held. If a plan is going to be obsolete in 8 months we should be told. Nothing except a lot of false information is what we got. Will not recommend T mobile again.

I have been T-Mobile customer for over five years. Today I went to store to upgrade my phone and was told if they helped me then I will have to pay $35 for assisted service. Or else I should do upgrade online. I tried doing it online only to find they made the online interaction so very hard.
In today's customer centric world where every company is trying to be most customer centric T-Mobile is going in opposite direction = make life hard for customers or make money on serving them.
I hope T-Mobile learns something before it is too late for them.

I've been a Verizon customer the past few years in my area and have had no issues completing phone calls, and working for delivery companies. I recently switched to T-mobile in the past couple months and I can have full reception and the literally walk across the street and lose all reception, I now have a massive dead zone in the west side and south side of my city. T-mobile needs to be investigated with how bad it is, and it's not just my city this happens to me in every town or city I visit.

After being forced to take the T-mobile Sim chip. My cell signal for where I live is spotty, and cuts off my calls. When I was sprint, I could walk around my house talking, and never lose signal. They say their system is better, but I beg to differ. After my plan is up, I am thinking about switching to another provider. Take something good, and mess it up by joining someone else. Very disappointed with the service I get. Compared to sprint, even if they are on the same network now. Sprint was still better, but thats just my opinion.

Just wow! Can't even explain how disappointed I am in this company and their customer service! I started my service with 7 lines no less on Dec 6. While signing up for their service I was told by the manager in the store that I had 14 days to cancel my service and that I would get a full refund if I did so. Well I canceled 6 days later and it was completed crazy town after that! I paid my bill in full 366.48 for 6 days of service. Been fighting to get my money back ever since. Not to mention they are still adding charges to the closed account one month later! Customer service is a joke. The communication barriers are awful and when you ask a question they have no answer. I've been on hold with them over the last 4 weeks for 10+ hours. The manager has promised to call back …. Never has! A word of advice …. Even if you're trying to save some money …. Don't do it with this company. They are the worst company I have dealt with in the last 25 years of cell services.

I was a Sprint customer for over 10 years when Tmobile bought them. It's been a nightmare since with both phones and home internet. The aggravation I've experienced is not worth the so called 'great rates'. Service is terrible with both and I got nothing but excuses from customer service. Run far away to save time and sanity!

Tmobile is the worst! Avoid at all costs. The unlimited texting is a bait and switch. I sent out too many and have shut down by tmobile for 12 days
Customer service terrible and I'm told they "won't unblock me"! Do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistake I did. Go with Xfinity or Verizon.
