T-Mobile has a rating of 1.2 stars from 1,938 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about T-Mobile most frequently mention customer service, new phone, and sim card problems. T-Mobile ranks 240th among Mobile Phones sites.
I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
Poor customer service, significant price increase once you become a customer, incompetent sales people (took out SIM card with valuable information and deleted it without warning). If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Sorting was a way better service. I can't stand tmobile. I'm tired of my phone being shut off because I don't pay my bill at 2 am and my phone gets shut off before my due date is even started. The customer service is terrible and most of the time their rude and have zero interest in helping you. When my service was sprint I NEVER had a problem. Would not recommend tmobile to someone I hate.

On two separate occasions in the past month i ordered items from the online T-Mobile sales people. One time I payed extra for overnight, the next time was two day shipping. Both times they got the address wrong and it took a week to get them. When you call, it goes to a call center who knows where, and its extremely noisy. Why do multi billion dollar companies invest so little in customer support. Either people are not saying enough about the crappy service or we have resigned ourselves to accepting less. With the money we pay, we shouldn't. Speak up America and let's not accept less. If they use the excuse it'll cost more, maybe the problem is their product or company communication. Fix that and we wouldn't put stress on your call centers. The best part was, adding insult to injury, they ask me about buying something else. I said are you serious! You can't even get what I did order to me. Crazy!

I switched to t mobile on 20th of November from Verizon and the customer service has been nothing but a joke! None of them are on same page! My phone was bad when I got it and trying to get a new one to replace it is impossible. Less than 2 weeks and had not just my phone but my son's phone have issues. Having to ay well over600.00 for start up service then 100 to get mine replaced then 106 to get sons replaced! About to get me a lawyer cause all they keep doing is taking my money and giving nothing in return!

Because T-Mobile home internet is too slow for my house, I called to cancel it for full refund within the 15-days-test period and return all the devices. However, T-Mobile still sent me a final bill and charged me for $130 with the "non-return" devices. I called serveral agents and none of them were able to help. I suggest avoid T-Mobile at all costs. Their internet service is not fast and the customer service is really bad. They do not care to help you.

These people will lie and cheat you and never pay with cash. They are dishonest
And completely incompetent. The retail store will axe you to call their customer service
Line, whom will tell you to go back to the retail store.
Moreover, if you leave an urban area and any four lane highway, you will most likely
Lose service. Their service map is complete bull, as many of the rural area has no service.
And if they do, once you leave a small town, within two miles your cell phone will no longer
Be of use, other than to call 911. I have traveled as much as 30 miles without any service;
This does not happen with Verizon. This is why folks in rural country do not use Terrible Mo Bile.
This also applies to the off-brand cell providers using T-Mo Bile cell system.

I would rate 0 if I could. I spoke with someone for an hour about why I had two payments for two different devices on my account. I only have one device. I traded in my old device. They continued to tell me. I still have to pay for the second device, but kept changing their reasoning as to why. I am enrolled in the JUMP program and always have been, so have never had an issue trading in phones before that were not paid off. I ended up speaking with the supervisor Bernard who did absolutely nothing to resolve this issue. Kept making excuses as to why I had to go into a store to get it resolved which makes absolutely NO sense. Do not ever speak with these people. They are useless and provide no relief to any ongoing issue.

I have been a T-Mobile customer for over 10 years, but my experience has been far from satisfactory. Living in a densely populated area, I expected reliable cell coverage. However, T-Mobile's service was so inadequate that they had to provide an amplifier to boost the signal. It was one (two, actually) more devices running in our house, but it solved the issue.
Fast forward to when I decided to cancel my service due to moving abroad. To my astonishment, T-Mobile charged me $300 for the amplifier they provided 8 years ago - a piece of equipment that is practically obsolete and that they sold to customers for only $100 back in 2019. That's after I spent $12,000+ with them over the years!
Attempting to resolve this issue, I spent several hours with their customer service. While the representatives were friendly, it felt like they weren't really listening (I had to repeat some basic facts several times). They never truly addressed my concerns.
Needless to say that I'll never be a customer again.

The oblivious president of T-mobile (i.e. Their inept marketing department with incompetent employees with no accountability by their inept CEO, Mike Sievert) keeps sending marketing emails to their clients, promising great deals and free subscriptions, but in reality most of the clients do not get such deals if they're not subscribing to the more expensive plans by T-mobile. Somehow because I have the 55+ plan, I apparently do not qualify to get any of their promotions even though they keep emailing me about them. The incompetence of this conglamorate is outstanding!

Making a return of their equipment is an issue. I received their equipment but never started service with them, because of this no password to the account was ever made. With no password to the account they refused to help me on a number of occasions over the phone and physically at their stores. The equipment is still unopened, see the image, I just want them to take their equipment back, and now take this matter out of collections. I gave t-mobile permission to record every conversation my wife and I have had with them so this issue is well documented. If you are a small business go elsewhere. If you have a personal phone go elsewhere. If you read this review and still do business with them all issues that occur with them will be your fault. I'm not under contract with them and they still found a way to rip me off. You've been warned.

I want to say what an awesome experience I had today at the location on George Washington and Harry. The manager Ariana A helped me resolve my issue. She was very helpful and she was able to resolve it. Can't say how relieved I was after I left.

T-Mobile is horrible, my phone is all of a sudden searching and I've never in all my 22 years as a Sprint customer saw my phone searching but now as this merger is complete (SEARCHING) is on my screen. I cannot access apps and constantly have phone calls dropped or not coming through, text messages failing and not receiving picture mail on time or not downloading at all. Great service I used to have is a thing of the past. I never had a problem anywhere not even in a metal building but now OMG it's awful. Trying to make a call it drops before the call even goes through. Software that used to communicate with my phone is not communicating anymore. Then when your bill is 1 day past due they calling. Sprint please come back, we need you.

I previously visited a T-Mobil store in Orlando, FL. I've been attempting to obtain my screen protector. All of the T-mobiles that I have gone to tell me they don't have my screen protector in stock. Dina was excellent with helping me. She made it possible and changed my screen protector. She also helped me with a trial on the new Wi-Fi service that is now available. She was knowledgeable and provided great service. I'm grateful for choosing this T-mobile. Thank you Dina again for your assistance.

This company is crap. I've left them three times and returned everytime it's the same thing. Constant intermittent signal. Mobile app doesn't work half the time. CSR don't know their jobs, they don't make good account notes, and I pay way to much money for my three phones, not at all EVER what the plan says. I'm leaving this company and never coming back. I need help rn and I've gone into the chat almost ten times and been kicked out every time. Stay away from this company. Also most of their csr chat reps aren't from United States so it's hard to even talk with someone.

We switch over from AT&T and I wish we had stayed over there. We were promised that within a week out new phones would arrive and over a month later NOTHING! Customer Service was awful, we called all the sources we were directed too and none had useful information. I asked around with my friends to see if they had similar situations and they did. The one good thing is that the sales associates in store are very friendly and try to help to the best of their abilities.

As of today I will no longer be with T-Mobile once was a big enough sh! T show for me... charging me for a phone I paid cash for & days of not having service, customer service didn't know anything and none of them wanted to help figure out why I'm being charged for a phone I already paid for.
Worst phone company I've ever had.

TMobile stole over $300.00 from me. I complained to the Attorney General's Office and I got my money back months later. Now I'm not receiving all my calls and text. I pay my bill every month for years and this is how I'm treated. I can't help but feel my sudden lack of service is retaliation for my complaint.

T-mobile withdrew over $700 from my account without authorization. I switched from Verizon to t-mobile and due to the horrible service of dropped call and delay in calling it switched back. Prior to switching I stopped my recurring payments. Without notice or authorization they took $727 from my bank account. I requested a refund which was denied because I originally had ach, they told my I did not stop the recurring payments (I know for absolutely sure I did) so they were not going to provide a refund. I am beyond furious with this company. They have a class action lawsuit going on in Florida because of the fraud they pull. They have great prices but are truly unbelievably unprofessional and will scam you without a doubt.

I was travelling with my t-mobile unlimited world plan and they cut me off. They said their fair usage policy does not allow for more then 2 weeks out of the month to be used on international networks. If you are travelling for more then 2 weeks the plan is useless

My Iphone has a mid board failure & Apple wants me to pay a $700.00 Deposit in order to get a express replacement phone! Or second option wait 2 to 3 weeks to get a replacement all the while I can't work do to the fact my job requires the use for a phone! Option 3 Drive an hour & a half to hope they have the option to repair it while if so they have an exact match to my present phone! If not apparently im out of luck. The customer care in both corporate titans are absolutely horrible and In my opinion should be fined for selling bad products and not honoring there own own insurance policies! This review doesn't fix anything by the way so please don't assume it does! They have poor business practices and are absolutely terrible people!

Spent over 4 hours on the phone with t Mobil I have 4 lines wanted to eliminate one of them, talked to 8 different people to finally get it done. People on the line spoke with a very heavy accent which I had a very hard time to understand, gave my information to each person and the next one asking the same questions. Very frustrating. I will be looking for a different company to switch soon

Don't let the TMobile promotions confuse you. After adding up all the credits and debits, I ended up getting 250.00 Dollars credit for my iPhone 11 pro max. I would've kept it or sold it on eBay for 650.00 Dollars, Only if I had known...
Tip for consumers:
Ask for the bottom line, how much after all the pluses and minuses are they actually giving you for your exchange.
