I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
We tried the t-mobile home wifi for $50 per month. The wifi didn't reach our bedroom and was slow in other areas. Plus it was just a router, no modem so nothing could be hardwired. We tried returning the router within the 2 week trial period and they gave us a complete runaround trying to return it. It looks multiple calls, being transferred to multiple departments, calls being disconnected, they're unable to generate a return label, etc etc etc. finally we got the return label and made the return. And yet our credit card was still charged for 2 months after they received back the router for the $50 per month. Horrible customer service and company all around. Do NOT recommend!

I $#*!ing hate t-mobile they charge a $#*!ing arm and leg for their $#*!ty $#*! network. T-Mobil need to get $#*!ed I regret going to them. Save your money and go somewhere else. It's 2023 and they have technology like this. The $#*!ing service goes in and out like the lights during a thunderstorm. $#*! t-mobile let them go out of business they don't take care of their customers. GET $#*!ED T-MOBILE

After you guys sent me the wrong phone, then demanded I pay another 500, then refused to accept the phone back that I didn't order in the 1st place then I canceled the line in days but I still gotta pay new activation for a phone I don't have, insurance and then you raised my overall bill.

If I wanted T mobile I would have gotten it 15 years ago! I signed up with sprint. This is the worst service we have had in our lives. 3 lines and we cannot even get eachother on the phone and when we finally do it hungs up. Intermittent texts. Only can talk on speaker...etc... I called again to let tmoble know and guess what, the phone hung up as usual when put on hold, and the rep said he could not even see our multiple dropped calls... We are looking for new phone service. AsAP!

I filed a claim with Assurant (T-mobile insurance provider) for damaged phone. Provided all requested information multiple times. Was passed back and forth between T-mobile and Assurant customer service reps multiple times over several months. Each time I was told a different reason why the claim was denied or some other information was needed to process it. I was told multiple times that I would be contacted within 24 hours but never was. They use stall tactics and evasive techniques to wear people down and make them give up and go away. I have wasted countless time and money on this "service". Just filed a BBB complaint. Would give them a 0 rating if it wasn't for the decent sales reps at the T-mobile store who actually tried to help me.

Went to take advantage of their offer for "free" Samsung Galaxy phones when you select certain plans. I was told that I'd need to put down $600 for a "free" phone, then I would receive the money back on my bill.
This is a scam. There is no reason to ask for 60% of a phone's value when the advertisement is free. I have paid down payments on phones under this promise before, only to have the company (AT&T) not return my money on my bills.
If you sign up for this, you are being scammed unless it's actually free. This is blatant false advertising in order to fish for sign ups.

My family is extremely frustrated and have been in the store and on the phone with representatives for hours being transferred and hung up on over and over. We canceled the account in August 2021, and are still being charged almost $150 every month by auto pay to this day, thats 10 months of charges. Because our account is closed, customer service cannot access our account with our phone numbers, address, and pin. We have been charged $1400 for having no phone lines with them and they won't stop the charges because they can't access our closed account. This is outrageous. There are many other customers who have written reviews about this exact problem happening to them also. We are beyond frustrated with this and can't speak with anyone who has the authority to resolve this.

I am paying for three phones on my account due to technical issues with each of them. I thought getting I phone 12 and paying 160 down would resolve issues, not even close. I phone 12 within weeks Sarai would not open websites and as I was transferring my number to Verizon. Still had T-Mobile service and made calls, due to how much T-Mobile stinks calls would not go through or could not call 211. Glad I am now with Verizon. Nor10Plus was a free phone then T-Mobile started charging 9.99 per month. Paramount plus they say pay for a year. Not the case during set up they told me to put my card on file with paramount. They are liars stay away from T-Mobile wish sprint would come back.

I was a Sprint customer and had to become a T-Mobile customer and it has been way worse ever since they don't even want to try to help you I've been paying $90 phone bill without thinking. To find out that's a rip off so I called up to see if there is something they could do about it and they absolutely didn't want to help in any way shape or form. In fact, they were trying to avoid it because they probably knew I was going to switch over and kept tell me it was an authorized funny because I did when I was with sprint I could do everything. I will make sure to cancel now my T-Mobile plan.

I went to in hopes of saving money with so calles 55 plan whch was to be 35 per month they signed me up without my knowledge for 45 per month and billed me 174.00 per month out on glass protection did not know they where charging 39 paper phone price rape.

Today I visited the T-Mobile on Boston Rd., in Springfield mass I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The Gentleman that waited on me Yves was very helpful and very knowledgeable of the services. The other staff was very friendly. I was able to get a line for my son quick and easy. Highly recommend this t-mobile! Thank you all for a great experience.

Been with T-Mobile for a year and 2 months, very terrible. Since day one i've had nothing but problems as far as billing and etc like if you have a automatic machine then why is it charging more than my normal payments? Every monthly bill is paid on time. Then the service is horrible, they promise the best service even after my first altercation with them... i cannot get service anywhere, i could be on an important phone call regarding work and the call would drop and say the call failed and when i try calling about it they all tell me the same thing, "there's a power outage" and the customer service is a -1... the attitude is a no go. I lost my phone at South Beach (Miami) and they told me when i first purchased my phone i would be covered if anything were to happen, LIES! They said itll be free of charge to replace my phone and i ended up paying almost 700 for a replacement which is ridiculous cause the phone was 400 smh.

Active a new phone, they messed up, couldnt verify because my phone doesnt work to get the verification text. So they could not help me fix my phone service because my phone did not have service to receive the verification text. They messed up entering my new phone info and they could not help fix it because my new phone didnt work to get the text. Makes no sense at all.

Do not even consider this service for your home! I got a TMobile hotspot for my home. It did not work. I immediately called customer service and I returned the hotspot immediately. I began receiving bills, customer service assured me,multiple times,that the problem would be resolved. I still continued to receive bills. The customer service department is a horrible joke. Wish I never heard of them.

T-Mobile appears to give you the answers you want to hear and then not honor them. They overcharged me and promised me a refund, only to give an account credit even after being assured multiple times I was able to get it refunded (because I need that money for other bills). They never did. They can rarely send me anything in writing/text confirmation and when they have, they still haven't honored it; I'll get another text a day or so later saying it was "not approved." This is incredibly unacceptable. They're hotspot isn't strong enough to load my email, much less a streaming service and they ALWAYS blame my phone. It's never their fault. Basically, if the customer owes them anything, they take it or demand it immediately, but if they owe the customer something back, they will ONLY give an acct credit and it will take TWO WEEKS. Screw this company. I don't even get cell signal next to a tower sometimes. BS.

I Signed Up Witha a Salesman at Walmart When I Couldn't Find the Prepaid Phone that I Originally Wanted to Buy on The Shelf. Apparently he Signed me up with a Plan that is for 55+ for $50/month. Because that was the price I was going to pay for the prepaid service I originally came for... so 6 months later tmobile Jack's up my bill $20 per month and when I messaged customer service they blamed it on the salesman and it's not their fault... now I have to get a new phone number which is going to really hurt my business... I feel like I've fallen victim to a bait & switch scheme... has anyone else had the same thing happen to them? Please advise... this is obviously Theft by deception

Had Bluegrass Cellular then Verizon for a round 18 years. Everyone at my work said try T-Mobile. So I did. With-in less that 6 hours I purchased 2 iPhones and a home internet modem (new with T-Mobile). They made sure to get my debit card info correct and took payment from my account. But sent my phones and modem to a address in Florida. I live in Kentucky. Called customer service 6 hours after purchase to tell them they had made a mistake this is not my address. No one could fix the mistake. Said I needed to contact UPS and figure out how to get the items sent to the correct address. Unbelievable. Will cancel as so as possible. DO NOT GET T-MOBILE. TRUST ME

Reception was very poor in my place. T-mobile send me a signal booster. For some reason I never used and forgot. When I moved to Comcast (I recommend) T-mobile put me in Money Collection for this buster. When I finish a deal with them, they didn't find that I owe anything to them. Never recommend. Avoid T-mobile.

I picked up a modem at the local store to try the home Internet service. I did the trial. And returned my modem before my trial period was over. I did have to pay an activation fee to get this started but they told me it would be refundable if it did not work. I was OK with this. The thing that I am very concerned with is they charged me for a month of service I did not even use a month of service with them and I tried to take care of this through customer service and I am still trying to get my money back for service I didn't use. It was all returned to them during trial time. They are taking from the consumer's and make it very difficult to get your money back.

I have spent hours adding a line. My bill more than double after changing to a cheaper plan. On a recorded line I was told I would get a $240 and my bill would be corrected before the debit, that was a lie. After calling back in again, I was told by the rep that there was a misunderstanding and I asked him to listen to the recorded call. Some of the issue was they were billing me for 5 lines and not 3 but my bill is still not what I was told it would be.

I signed up for the free trial for 30 day internet. It wasn't what I expected so I returned right away within 3 days. They never refunded me my money and now 3 months later are trying to charge me 108.00 for services I never hooked up. When trying to access my account they tell me I can't my pin is wrong. Which is incorrect they refuse to let me access the account and want to charge me 200 for service that I never even used 1 time.

I wish I could give less than one star for this company. T-mobile is the worst experience I had, they charged me for no reason more than they should, they never said that I will be charged extra for any changes I made, they just charge as much as they want. Just received the bill of $ 255, for a single line, I called then and they said I made international calls. It's unbelievable, bad costumer service, no respect, no responsibility! I had a lot of issues with T-mobile for being charged more, for no reason. I am changing this phone company and I don't wanna hear about it never ever again!
