I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.

Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.

On February 15,2018, I sent them my phone for replacement due to microphone mal-function. On Tuesday, February 20,2018, T-Mobile acknowledged receiving my cell phone. Since then, every 10 to 15 days, I called them to see the status of my phone and I am being told that I will receive it within 10 business days. After several calls and waiting several of those 10-day waiting, finally, I received my phone today, May 2nd, 2018 with No Battery and No Back Cover. Such a marvelous service! I am done with T-Mobile as long as I shall live.

Tip for consumers:
Get out of T-Mobile before it is too late ...

I signed on with Sprint. They sold to T-Mobile, I wasn't asked if I wanted to go to T-Mobile I was given no choice. Yet, when I tried to get my device serviced by T-Mobile they said I was still part of Sprint. I cannot return the devices and I am not part of T-Mobile.
Their service is Crappy everywhere I go. I am getting only 1 bar but they claim they have great service everywhere. Don't believe them it is a lie. Go to Verizon or ATT

I had to go to T-Mobile in the Milford Mall because the T-Mobile in West Haven on sawmill Road was over charging me for items that she said she was giving me. Chris was the person who fixed all of my problem and gave me a credit for a phone that I really did not need. The other associates where also helping in getting my Samsung Gallery A13 to work properly. When you go to Flag T-Mobile store they know how to fix any problems that you may have.

I wish I could give 0 star! They refused to unlock my iPhone even I have been used for years and paid in full. They said I have been canceled my account, so they don't see I have been used the phone for 40 days! Wtf?! The phone was T-Mobile sim locked! They don't care their customer!

I signed up for T-Mobile at the recommendation of a Verizon rep in Phoenix in late April 2022. We were relocating to Mississippi and he said Verizon's coverage is not good in States. The first phone I chose was a Samsung but by August 2022 I realized it was not syncing with my google apps which I rely on heavily to run my business. By May 2023 I had been lied too so many times I couldn't count. First lie was I would receive a free upgrade to switch back to an IPhone. That locked me into a 24-month plan on a phone with zero hotspot and never more than 1 bar in LTE or 5G mode. Today I'm switching to AT&T but will be locked into a 36-month contract because I still owe $771 on my I-Phone purchased from T-Mobile. The other lies relate to a monthly reporting when I called in to complain that "a cell tower in my area is under repair". Shame on me believing them for 14 months.

Never sign business contract with TIM. TIM surprisingly charge you for different issues, you can not cancel the contract in any of their stores, nobody answer your emails and TIM push you to pay it. You will need lawyer to cancel & get rid of TIM.
I am an Example and following TIM with lawyer now.

I have been a T-Mobile, Sprint, Nextel customer for over 20 years. This incident happened about two phones ago, T-Mobile, Sprint was taking money out of my account for a phone that I no longer have. Once I found out I was due money back, I requested a check to be sent to me ASAP. 4 1/2 years ago I was told this issues was taken care of, I was never told they where still going to charge my account for a cell phone that was sent back using packaging's provided by Sprint. The package is still sitting in a UPS store warehouse in Springfield Va. Why is this company still dragging there feet about this issue?

I give them negative five stars, not even the one! They have the audacity to send me a bill for $3.17 AFTER I paid the last bill in full, even though my service has NOT worked for SEVEN MONTHS, of dropped calls and callers can't hear me, but I can hear them! NOTHING is wrong with my phone or my setting, that they tried to convince me of for SEVEN MONTHS. I finally left in the middle of a billing cycle and paid for the full month (when service was THE WORST EVER!) Now, I am with Visible - my monthly charge is HALF of what they were charging me and my calls are ALL going through and not cutting off, like their service was doing. Don't ever use T-MOBILE cell phone service!

My Name is Greg and I been a customer of over 2 decades, or as your representatives used to say a vip customer.

However all my loyalty and the tons of money I spent over the decades meant nothing to you guys and just dropped me.

All this happened as I had to be out of the country for a family medical emergency that turned out very bad. I lost my father and other members.

I was in communication with your representatives as often as possible but no one ever raised the possibility of me losing all my services. In fact was told that even though my services have been disconnected that I will be given a courtesy to turn on as I was heading back to the country. It never happened.

Now I am told I lost my numbers and will never get back. Of course there is also a small balance but was told that even if paid I still get no service.

What I would like is for you to train your representatives better.

A dedicated phone number because it seems when I had service I was treated better but now that I had to call 800 # no care at all, I was essential told sorry but you need a new account.

Although not happy with how treated If you can help this loyal customer of decades with a mutual agreeable term, please let me know

We have been paying around $14-$18 per month for insurance on my iphone SE for the past three years. Just a week ago the touch screen went dead on the left side. I tried resetting it to no avail. I called T-Mobile support and immediately the rep informed me that because I have coverage through T-Mobile I can go to an apple store and get the phone replaced. Upon calling Apple, they informed me that I am not in the apple-care system. Fast forward 4 days and over 10 hours of phone calling with T-Mobile and Apple reps. T-Mobile has promised on multiple occasions that I will be put on the Apple Care system and I can get my phone exchanged. Finally Apple informed that under no circumstances can T-Mobile insert me in the Apple System.

10 hours later I have been lied to by T-Mobile on every single call. All they have tried for solutions is to sell me new phones. All the while having spent over $600 over the past three years in insurance for my phone. The insurance system is a complete scam and is clearly designed in a way that is so complicated and frustrating that customers end up buying new phones on-top of already paying for the insurance.

I was a long-time Verizon Wireless customer. Yesterday, our family switched to T-Mobile simply because T-Mobile offered my father a $1,000 credit on a $1,800 phone that he wants to buy. After I switched to T-Mobile, I could not use my phone for more than 12 hours because it was locked to the Verizon network. Then, when I tried to make or receive calls, the person on the other end could not hear what I was saying. David Sando, the manager of the Fullerton Amerige Heights Town Center store helped me by giving me a new SIM card. As soon as I got home, I began to experience the same exact problem. When I try to make or receive calls, the person on the other end cannot hear what I am saying. Tomorrow, I am going back to Verizon Wireless. T-Mobile phone service sucks.

T-Mobile has "upgraded" all of their network within 10 miles of my home to 5G making my 4G phone worthless. The only phone service I get at home is on my cable Wi-Fi; so why am I paying for T-Mobile service? I'm on a limited budget and do not want to pay another $500-$1000 for a 5G phone!

I would give t mobile a -10 stars if I could. I have a old damaged phone that I'm trying to get important data off of and they shut off my current services and tried to bill me $800 for a new phone that my insurance covered when all I wanted was to get my old fixed. No sympathy and horrible customer service. NEVER COMING BACK.

The service does not work great you have to drive 10 minutes down the road just to make call and I'm getting charged monthly for not even having signal most of the time and T-Mobile won't help resolve this issue I will difinitly not be going back to them for phone or service

T-Mobile is absolutely the worst cell phone / internet company in the United States! I have had their half Arse service for a year now. T-Mobile SUCKS! My old Cricket phone had wayyy better service! My dial-up internet in 1994 was more reliable! T-Mobile has NONE of their own transmission lines or any other such thing. They pay a discount rate for a mass purchase to the Legitimate cell service providers ( Verizon, ATT, etc...) and charge premium rates as if they were actually providing ANYTHING. Yes T-Mobile pays the REAL service providers a small amount to LEACH off of their transmission lines. Didi I mention that T-Mobile Sucks?!?!?

I was just Rudely handled by their cs rep and supervisor. I'm going to Verizon, you can easily obtain your transfer pin via T-Mobile app. Don't even bother calling to cancel.
