I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
I signed up with T Mobile in September 2021 and I am still waiting on the cards to pay off my phones from another company. I have been on the phone with them for over 8 hours. There is a 2 hour wait time, which is crazy and when you finally get someone all you hear is chickens in the background. You are told the cards will be $800.00 per phone and credits because you have been on the phone for so long. Then they hang up on you. Really, this is not good customer service at all. Maybe that's the way they treat customers in Asia but not in the United States of America.
The person that hung up on me has the ID *******.
All of my paperwork was given in person so I guess this person was just trying to get his commission.
Don't trust T Mobile... it's a scam

This company is very messy…. They constant over charge me and have mailed my items to wrong addresses numerous times and delay my time to receive my product. It's almost as if this company has no managers. Just a messy company that I was thrown into with the merger. Get it together

Do not get service with T-Mobil. I bought an upgrade Apple phone for my son, who needs this for work, paid it off to unlock it Anna NO ONE knows how to unlock it, but sends the issue to the next person. They always say will call in 24 to 72 hours. It's been since 30 august and still not unlocked!
Tip for consumers:
I paid off the phone as requested by T- Mobil to unlock it and they have my $1100, but we can’t use the phone. Way too many excuses

Really awful customer service, even after 6 years I still have problems every few months. Recently got a new phone and someone turned off my unlimited text messaging. I got a bill for my family over $1200 and it took me 11 phone calls to get it fixed and figure out who turned it off since it was not me. It was part of my package plan. Really expensive too, as soon as my contract is up this time I will leave!

They sent me to collections for a debt that they could not prove was mine. My credit score went from 812 to 700. They did this in 2022 and I thought it was resolved. It's happening again in 2023. Lisa Davis and Shannon Robinson, of T-Mobile have yet to send documentation of the debt.

I was with T Mobile for over 16 years. They were great. Great connectivity. Until I got a much better offer by another carrier that T Mobile could not match or come close to matchings. I understood that with new service discounts and all. But the customer service when I left was so horrendous. I was planning on coming back to T mobile after the year promotion was over but because of the poor customer service, I'm not going to do that anymore. Us one customers probably doesn't mean much to a big company like them but you lost a customer for life.

Bought insurance and paid for it for 5 years just in case I needed it. Well I lost my phone and after being on the phone for over 22 hours it still isn't resolved. This company has Zero customer service and certainly doesn't know how to make a customer happy. I also have a plan for 100 phone for my business and taking all my business elsewhere. This company is a total piece of crap. All over not standing by their own insurance plan and talking to 10 different people is totally unbelievable. They don't deserve even one star.

The deals sound great, and they say that they are cheaper maybe like a $1 or so but not much. The bills are not constant, so is the service have 3 bars but cant make a call or text. I had to restart my phone to get service every time I left a building that had wifi. Lost service while on the freeway in the middle of the valley. When my phone broke under warranty had to wait to get a new one, really frustrating when you are expecting an important call that day. They have also lied about the speed their service works it's very slow.

I have been a T-Mobile customer for 10 years. 7 of those I have been on family plan contract. Kids have left home so now I have 4 lines with only one being used. If I cancel the other lines it's going to cost me $200 per line in early termination fees. I even have one line suspended since my family member is currently deployed overseas - but suspending doesn't help - still paying the monthly data charge for a phone that is not being used because it's on contract. If I actually thought any of the other companies would be any better I would switch, but these nightmares seem to be universal.

T-Mobile advertises it 50+ plan as being $50 per line. I asked when I signed up less than 60 days ago if I could pay by credit card( I get cash back for purchases made in this card). T-Mobile now is saying customers who don't debit or let T-MOBILE draft their bank account will have to pay $15 extra per month. This is ridiculous in light of the fact that I asked about this less than 60 days ago. Further when I traded in an I-phone, I was told that I would get $800 for it but am now being told that I will get credited $246. These people are liars and scammers! Stay away! I'll be leaving their service shortly.

I started 2 days ago to cancel my account. 4 calls into customer service 800 # told how to cancel account. I did everything asked of me.
Visited a T-Mobile store was told that they don't have authority to cancel accounts. Called 800 back, told that's not true. Day 3 and still can't cancel account. Heads up...beware of what you are getting into getting a T-Mobile account.
I switched for this very reason and being charged 160.00 a month for years then getting same service from Xfinity but at 85 bucks a month. T-Mobile needs to be run out of town!
Service calls answered outside the USA. When asked to speak to someone in the USA. I was told that "they are going to tell you the same thing " then they hung up on me.

After using cell services for more than 20 years, T-Mobile is the absolute worst. Any call company anywhere in the world provides better coverage than them. Sprint was bad amd came with its benefits, however; T-Mobile is absolutely worthless. Waste your money with some other, any other, carrier.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid T-Mobile, and use any other carrier

TMobile is a terrible company I was with them for years, they never keep there word with pricing, they lock phones that you have bought outright after 2 years of having the phone. This company will rip you off and act like you owe them more. I used to love t mobile, but I have cricket and love it so much more, better service than t mobile too 4 lines for 100 with t mobile you get horrible survive and 2 phones for 200 a month. So yeah don't waste your money on this terrible company. They owe me money.

T-Mobile's prices are as good as they come, its download speeds are faster than anyone else's, and it offers truly unlimited data. Since its network is growing, some cities still don't have access to 4G LTE service. Poor customer service of businesses and no coverage and poor billing.

T- mobile always bragg about the service they offer claiming to be the fastest network in the country. But I doubt it. How comes it doesn't work so well in Killeen that I had to go down the street to get a Cricket phone that works perfectly fine.

I regret switching my phone plan from another carrier to T-Mobile services. There are many drop calls with T-Mobile, really annoying. The Wi-Fi calls are included in my plan, but they still charge me $3/minute for international calls even they stated Simple Global (low flat rate calling, $0.25/minute).

Take your business elsewhere!
T-Mobile is selling caterpillar phones out of their stores and promoting this phone (CatS62) I got ripped off by both companies. I've been through two brand new phones out of the box and both do not work and neither one wants to take responsibility!

My number was moved to my bf's account and they keep charging. Sending me to their store where I had already spent 4 hours while upgrading my phone, additional hour to get a SIM card they forgot to put in the phone. Free Netflix should come with our plan, they conveniently forgot to offer it. They should merge with Comcast because it's the same level of professionalism.

BEWARE!!!! A horrible company!

T mobile invited me to join their phone company. This is the worst company I've ever been with. The phone is outdated internet cybernetic problem from day 1. Replaced it 4 times with the same issues. Stuck in a contract now unless I pay off the free defective phone. They should give me a really good deal on an upgrade I've lost almost 200 dollars in time and replacing this free phone. I hate t mobile do not use this company.

I really would like to ask with the people who have put positive feedback here, for what sake you guys writing like this. This is the worst site that i have ever seen. There is no proper customer care service. My bad luck that i purchased a cell phone from her and with in a month it started having problem. Now i am really don't know what need to do with that

I can't believe how much they scam people and take there I don't even give them any stars. They lie they steal an the service sucks so bad. They take peoples money. An double charge for fees I have never dealt with a company this bad! T-Mobile is a scammer! $#*! T-MOBILE

They will tell you about all these promotions and the prices and then when you get the first bill it's not what they promised. Then when you call them they act like it was the store's fault like they are not all one company and play the "it's not us game". It's all a gimmick to see if you get tired of calling and just pay more than what I was paying at AT&T. AT&T is way better. Their data is faster and customer service never played blame games. Don't even try TMobile no matter how good it sounds. Trust me!

Overall, I have been pleased with this company until they recently have become a customer service nightmare. I was misquoted fees for my service and there has been absolutely no accountability on T Mobile's end, they just do not care. I am relieved we won't be coming back nor will any of of family and a few of my coworkers's that are fed up with their service. You are truly JUST A NUMBER to them and I will sleep better tonight knowing they will be losing tens of thousands of dollars due to them just flat out not being accountable for their deception. Good Riddance!

Worst internet provider I have ever had. We are current customers and if we were not in a contract I would cancel them in a heart beat! So we have called every night for the last 6 months because not having connection they sent us a brand new box still no connection they adjusted our settings no connection! And as of tonight 7:55 pm my wife is on the phone with them again because the connection went out again. Do not get service with these people! Even with no service they will still bill you for it! If I could give 0 stars I would

I've been with Sprint for 13 years hardly had any issues with the service. Ever since T-Mobile bought them it's been nothing but a nightmare. One problem after another after another after another. What's worse is every time you call them out on their BS their excuse is "well this is a Sprint issue and we don't have anything to do with it." They absolutely refuse to take responsibility for any issues they cause. I'm dropping them ASAP for Verizon.
