A Take 5 recently opened near me so I called to find out the price for a conventional oil change. Strike 1…I was asked what I meant by conventional. Strike 2…I was told I would potentially have to sign some kind of document to waive the warranty. Strike 3…After all of that discussion, I asked again for the cost. 💲70-$80. Seriously?
I have been to more than one location but the 1204 university location in Jacksonville is horrible. The approach to the garage was difficult so i had to take a couple swings at it to get in. Inconvenience but okay. Didn't hit that red pole. Didn't scrape my fender. Then the attendant came up to the car and said he would not service the car and i had to go. He gave no reason and said he would call the police. So I left. Customer service did not respond to my calls. The service attendant was skinny, unkempt rude and and would have been threatening if he was not so sickly. Don't subject yourself to this type of abuse
Worst service today at take 5 Baytown Texas on Baker road. I had to wait 20 minutes in my car to get pulled into a bay. Once pulled in Mario walked away not saying a word to me or touching my truck. I sat there 15 more minutes then he walks by and I asked why no o e had done anything and he told me he was talking to his manager and continued to keep walking. I told him to close my hood and went and talked to the manager which all he said to me was he was having Mario order lunch. There was a at least six other people working and only one was concerned and she opened my hood and shrugged her shoulders and started working on the car that was behind me in line. The manager was useless and offered no solution or apology. I will never go back.
I had an an oil change by Take 5 in Lafayette. Scooter & Hannah were great! They were very friendly explained everything, & efficient. This was my first experience with Take 5 & would certainly recommend them if all the Take 5 shops are as good as this one.
I have used the car wash for over 17 years through a few different owner. Always an enjoyable experience, until today. The girl soon to be manager was very rude. She is not manager material and needs to go to training on how to be helpful and not hateful to customers. I really appreciate the other members professionalism and kindness. I will not be using this carwash until I know she is not there. Nobody should ever talk so rudely to their employees or customers. SO sad.
Just a little heads up about Take 5 Oil change in Rowlett. They damaged my oil pan and bolt and now refuse to pay for that damage. Rowlett manager stated my car had a recall for the oil pan, it was a known issue and they would not pay. Called Chevy, no recall now, nor has there ever been one. So that's a lie. Don't take your car here for a oil change or anything else for that matter, obviously they don't care. I have called their corporate office, but I don't expect anything from them either, but I have to try. Of course the damage wasn't found until I went to get the oil changed again.
These guys are cheaters, they relay on the fact that you do not know what oil they put in and that you will not check your filter. They put cheaper oil instead of more expensive one, lied to me about the mileage that this oil will take and didn't change filter. Stay away from them

I was in Raleigh by circle k gas station and my truck broke down. A gentleman came and helped me jump my truck. He said he was the manager. Even though I didn't get an oil change he helped me. Truly great customer service

I was told I was incredibly rude, were the employee said I interrupted him. Also everything listed on the receipt was not done like windshield not cleaned, wipes not checked and tires not checked. There are too many other place to have an oil change where I do not get this kind of treatment. Person's name on the receipt was Austin.
I went for an oil change the person who was bout to do it told me it was to early but he check my oil n other fluids in my car the whole staff today was friendly n kind especially the one who help me personally thank y'all this not my first time there n it won't be my last time again thank y'all

They stripped my oil filter case 3 visits ago and said a new one would be ordered & ready for my next visit. Two oil changes later, no replacement case yet. More importantly, today they drained the old oil but neglected to add new oil. I told the tech & he replied "Yes we did". No Sir you did not! The oil pressure warning went off as soon as I started it! "That happens with your EcoBoost engine on 1st start up (nonsense) but it is a little low so I will add more". I then watched him pour in 3 quarts of oil, check the dipstick, then pour in 3 MORE quarts (my truck requires 6qts)... Accidents happen and people forget steps, but do not lie to me and/or assume I am an idiot! I was in my truck the entire time. I literally watched you add all 6qts AFTER start up
Went to Take 5 in Charlotte NC South Tryon for oil change. Was told that was full of sludge, which was wrong, and needed to clean out the oil pan. Was told just change oil, well found the next day the oil was not changed but the filter was. Went back and asked the look at the film which they said they had then said the camera was broken. The very next day the car started to smoke really bad. $300.00 later it was fixed. Needless to say no more Take 5.
I went to Take 5 to do a routine radiator flush and drove out with a car leaking antifreeze. Had no prior leaks before my visit. The manager, Jay, notice a woman pull into the shop that he needed to spend time with and allowed 3 inexperienced workers to do my radiator flush. He gave them a few minute crash course on how a flush was done and then walked away. After they did a pressure check running the car as high as 4000 RPMs, it began to over heat. Jay put his assistant in charge of the store operation and personally worked on my car to figure out what went wrong. He even tried a pressure test himself, but forgot to put the cap on the reserve tank and antifreeze shot out all over the engine. Jay worked nearly 8 hours trying to fix the problem before giving up and telling me I had a hose that was leaking. He said he could not fix it and I was suppose to take it to somewhere else to get repaired out of my own pocket. Cost me $386. Ouch!
Place is a joke. Might be able to con a lil old lady but I'm a grown man with extensive mechanical knowledge.air filter is new and I saw him bang it on the trash can and no dust came out but he is standing at my window insisting it's filthy.and tring too flush my radiator so it doesntfreeze. Its been 0degrees last 2 days if it were gonna freeze it already would have. Premium full synthetic is actually not required for my 4cyl Chevy lol. Then they stole my coupon didn't run it so they give me a new one for next time that's already expired...premium full synthetic is actually not required for my 4cyl Chevy lol. What a joke

This store stripped my oil pan. My car was continually leaking oil after I took it in to them which it had never done before. The 3rd time I brought it in saying it continued to leak oil, they admitted fault and put in a plug. They said to bring it in during my next oil change and they would repair the damage they caused. Fast forward to the time of my next oil change... They told me they do not have the same manager and have no record of this. Said they would not take any responsibility. I left a message for corporate and will be surprised if they return my message. I have priced repairing it and it will cost me close to $1000 to repair the oil pan they ruined on my own dime. I will avoid this company all together in the future and I suggest you do as well.
Went in for an oil change, this location didn't have the regular oil filter for our vehicle, manager said I could pay a$15 up charge for another filter, I said no I wasn't going to pay extra. He then told us to go to another take 5 location. So we did, when we arrived the technician said they would not service us because the other manager said my demeanor was bad and that I said bad language to them. So we left. Making false accusations about someone is wrong and not ethical and is just an out right lie.Have spent many hundreds of dollars with them without any problems. Just a note: Buyers beware!
Drove off again because they just left me sitting there. I decided to try them again... big mistake. Again get into a stall and all employees walked off. After 27 minutes I just drove off again. There were 4 employees talking and playing on the side of the building. Location was on rigsby Avenue in San Antonio Texas.
