I work with several parents who use this website to monitor their children's smart phone behavior. They love the functionality and all report it provides exactly what they promise. Sounds like a solid monthly investment for parents concerned about their children's online/cellular activities.
Its like your bothering them, horrible attitudes long wait times and for me 4 hours later nothing is fixed. I can check on a computer through the website what my child is doing but was never able to get the app to work...
I initially had trouble during my free trial and was able to get support on the phone right away. The problem was I needed to keep my son signed into iCloud. After convincing him, I was able to look at his texts. It was awesome. And then it wasn't.
After a few days went by I could no longer get his texts, even the old ones that I already read. The data update button disappeared. I could locate him though, which wasn't that awesome since he is upstairs in his room.
Not wanting to waste my time with customer support, I remembered what fast service I received when I called before. I begrudgingly got my phone hoping for the same. No such luck this time. I listened to some jazzy tune featuring the Xylophone over and over again while on hold for quite awhile. Bored, I happened upon this review site and read that I was not alone in my frustration.

Did the trial for a day then thought it wasn't working with the trial so purchased the $14.95. Wasted money. It makes your child change their password EVERYTIME you login to Teensafe. It's obviously a problem they acknowledge, yet continue to advertise service they don't deliver. Try something else... stay away from Teensafe until they fix it or stop advertising for services they can't deliver.
Can one be so naive and think that our teenagers cannot get in trouble? Well think twice! My son who is 15 started talking to this girl who is in his school and they started sexting! I happened to see the texts one day he left his phone on my car when I was dropping him off for his basketball practice. My head wanted explode just thinking of the consequences this could bring and how upset that girl's parents would get. I had to sit him down and give him a TALK (if you know what I mean) and he promised this would not happen again. I decided I had to look into monitoring him to make sure this would never happen again as agreed and this is when I signed up for Teensafe. I am glad I did and keep a close eye at all times.
I wish I read the reviews first. This worked the first day and it will no longer show newer info. I've e-mailed and called multiple times for them to keep giving instructions that don't work. Now they are saying it's a problem with the 2 factor authentication on the iPhones that they are working on. Apparently they've been "working" on it for a LONG time according to reviews. Looking for something new. This app sucks. Going to request a refund.

Teen safe was such a disappointment. It didn't have all the texts there and some deleted texts were listed as "Dec 31,1964". And then several texts were missing when I KNEW there were texts there. Almost every conversation was completely out of order so it made it difficult to decipher. And then one day I went to log in and it said "no texts" and the button to "download latest data" was gone. All in all I think it's a great idea to be able to monitor my kids texts, but teen safe has a LOT of work to do to improve the glitches. And until they do, I'll be keeping my $15 a month.
I see several people are having this issue. Every time I sign in to Teen Safe it triggers a security alert with apple and apple makes me change my password. It has been happening for about 5 months. I had hoped it would be fixed. I have been paying for a service I cannot use unless I want to change my apple password after each use. It is so frustrating!

We really do understand your frustration. Our goal is to deliver the best monitoring tool parents can use to keep their teens and tweens safe. Unfortunately, Apple, Google and others do not make this easy.
The iCloud lockout issue is an industry-wide issue and affects all monitoring services. We are working hard to evaluate potential solutions and we have a full team of development resources working on this issue.
It is difficult to determine the exact cause, as various factors seem to contribute to account lockouts and they can happen instantly or can be delayed by a day or more. Moreover, not every customer who performs the same pattern of actions is affected in the same way.
IOS 11 will be rolled out soon and hoping this will lead to a resolution but that is uncertain. What is certain is that our development team is working diligently on resolving this issue.

Had this app for FOUR months and it never worked completely. I was able to see text messages okay (but I had to do a back up manually even though it was plugged in to charge every night.) The pause button never worked. Called multiple months and it was never corrected. Child can still receive and send text message even in HEAVY mode setting and pause. They did say they knew that was a problem but no fix for it. Decided today that I wasn't going to pay for it another month. After several hours with various CSR's and a supervisor I was told to reset the phone. Seriously? If you load it, be warned, you'll never be able to unload it. There is no way to remove it.
I have 3 teens and really have to have opened eyes on everything. Paying $14.95 for being able to monitor the 3 of them is really a great deal for us. I have had a good experience and it has helped me get to understand many things about them and how they behave as I have access to their conversations.
Service worked great until last March. Started having issues with Apple ID lockout when signing in to Teensafe. Have called repeatedly and I get the same answer... We're working on it. It takes time. This has been going on for 9 months and still no fix. They have offered a credit but I would prefer the service work as promoted. Problem is most 3rd party services are having same issue with Apple. Teensafe won't fess up if they will ever get it fixed but after 9 months I'm really starting to wonder?

I took an hour out of my day and installed this app on both of my teens phones. I saw text messages and was able to see deleted texts and even block apps. However, the positive reviews on here have to be their employees making things up. I also wanted this app to restrict time and pause while my daughter is driving. When I couldn't find a tab to access these controls, I sent an email, and guess what " we're sorry, we have not completely gotten the functions up and running yet". Disappointing! Uninstalled and cancelled my subscription after two hours!
Sorry you had an issue. When Apple and Google issue operating system updates our team works very hard to update our software as soon as possible. There are times when this takes longer than we like and some functions are not available. I have had problems getting manage to work for two months, they say it is my phone, my kids phone, unkown error. To find out they cannot manage latest version of iphone software! They are supposed to be technologically savvy! Wasted hours and 100's of dollars!
Now they cannot get it off the phone, no one knows how?
This app is extremely clunky and not user-friendly AT ALL. I had it set up on her phone, and couldn't ever get any of the new information to load. I cancelled my subscription, and then gave it another try recently. All of the location services as well as the Find My iPhone were connected on her phone, and it still won't work. Not worth the money. Don't even bother.
Teen safe does not deliver what they advertise! With this service you cannot see deleted texts and not even most of regular texts. When I called to see if there was something I was doing wrong they were very rude and said that they don't advertise that you can see "ALL" texts. This company is very misleading! Do not use this service!
Teensafe provide active customer representatives before you purchased but after purchased i realized its a scam because the customer representatives never attend to me. Requesting for a refund is just a waste of time you will never gets one.
I set up an account yesterday and logged in successfully. However now I have been charged $14.95 after the 1st say and I can't log back in without giving my credit card information again? The advertisement states you will not be charged until after the 7 day trial is up. And now I have been charged and can't even log back in without giving more money!
I will keep leaving a bad review on Teensafe until I receive my refund I bought this and I realized it's all lies not working as promised. I commend all Teensafe users to use Solutionhackedteam Phone Spy app instead and have access to their target phones with just the phone numbers only

No, but seriously. The concept of this app is beyond weird. If you want to know everything your child does on the internet, you are not a good parent. You are just a creep who enjoys lurking around in other peoples private lives.
Do your research first before signing up for the free trial or full service.
My sons both have Androids. I was able to download the app... it was very time consuming and confusing but I downloaded the app successfully.
I signed up for the free trial. What they don't tell you, is you can't see all the information they advertise when you get the free trial so they then prompt you to get the full version. Got the full version. Still couldn't see any information. Called customer service. The guy told me it takes at least an hour for the all the data to download. That sounded shady. I waited and three days later none of the features worked. I cancelled my subscription. I'll be closely monitoring my credit card to make sure they don't keep charging me. I don't know who they have running the show but the app is terrible and the customer service was awful as well.

There are several issues that significantly hamper installation and the amount of time it takes to download including age of computer and phone, available storage space on the phone and computer and weak WiFi coverage.

Instagram monitoring does not work, supposedly instagram's fault. Now I can't upload my childs data, Apple's fault. Pretty frustrating. I was hoping this software was the answer but it looks like it may be a bad choice. I would not recommend this company
Having control over what our kids do is part of our parenting duty. I see all sorts of horrible stories on the news and can't believe our children are being victims of cyberbullying, sexting, predators and other terrible things out there. I decided to sign up for teensafe and don't regret it for a second. It is a great tool and affordable. You cannot take for granted the safety of your children... be alert.
It took me a while to get used to it but after little bit of spending time it does work.
Apple iCloud is really complicated. After figuring out how to does apple password system setup(never used iCloud before) the skies got cleared out.
As for me as a parent it helps me sleep well.

This company is a scam do not buy! You have to buy the product and then it is uninstallable on iPhone. Spent time with apple upper management who said what teensafe was asking for is impossible. Then teensafe won't give a full refund and don't have a phone number to call.

None of the product because it’s not an actual useable download. Apple said it’s impossible what teensafe was asking for.
Tried the trial version of teen safe for the I phone. I was having problems with it retrieving the data. I called customer service to get help and get a few questions answered but wasn't getting any clear answers. So I asked to talk to the manager and I was hung up on. From what I understand the android version works pretty well but the I phone has some major flaws. The way it works is you give them the apple id and password for the phone you want to monitor and every night the phone does a i cloud backup of the phone which they can then have access to and display it on your parental dash board. The trouble you run into is if the phone receives a call or text or notification of any kind during the back up it fails to finish the backup and you don't have the newest data the next day. So you could go 30 days without it ever backing up correctly and you are basically paying for nothing. So until they can improve the I phone side of it i will pass.
I tried this and got absolutely NO information from it at all. I called to cancel, but was charged anyway. It took me several times per week for three months to try to get a refund and they wouldn't give me one stating I did not cancel. SCAM. Spyware doesn't work and basically NO customer service. Any good review on this site has to be from them portraying a real customer.
They offer a one week free trial and guarantee you won't be charged if you cancel your subscription before your one week is up. Unfortunately, there is no way to cancel! The website seriously has no information on how to cancel and if you call the company you will be put on hold FOREVER! I tried numerous times and was on hold for over 20 minutes before I gave up! No operator ever answered my call no matter which "option" I clicked on for service.
