*** UPDATE****
On 3/6/15 on their facebook page, they FINALLY have made some kind of indication that they are behind because they can't keep up. This doesn't make up for their behavior. Just thought other pissed off consumers would like to know.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I purchased a shirt from a week sale on 12/16/14. The order confirmation email I received said "please allow an additional 10-30 business days after the week's sale for us to print and process your order prior to shipping." If the sale ran until that Friday (12/19), this is stating that it wouldn't ship until February 4th at most. This is allowing for actual National Holidays, not the "I don't want to work the Friday after Christmas or New Year's Day". I did not get a shipping confirmation until 03/03/15! That is 18 ADDITIONAL business days. No apologetic email that something happened with printing or the sale was extended. Nothing. It is now 3/10 and UPS shows that the label was created but they have not received it yet. I am starting to feel as if I will never get this shirt. There is absolutely no support on their main site. My Order email says to go to http://www.teehelp.com for assistance. Apparently Blue Box Tees isn't the only group in this sham. Look out for Weekly Shirts and Zebra Tees. There is no contact information what so ever. If you click on "submit a support ticket" the page comes up "This app has expired, please renew. Please contact the application administrator."
I have absolutely no faith that I (or anyone) will ever see my order. If the UPS package does not make any progress, I will filing a complaint with PayPal.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND SANITY!
I bought a AFTV t-shirt and it turned out to be too small. TeePublic is exchanging, no questions asked.
Ordered the items on Thursday and came on Friday very quick service looks good quality, and the design is spot on celebrating Jeeps 80th anniversary
Extraordinary Variety, Good Quality, and Excellent Costomer Service! All you expect from an online store!
Recently I ordered Tshirts from TeePublic I actually found them on Facebook. After I saw the tshirts and the design of what they make.
I was thrilled so I immediately order some tshirts the prices were reasonable and the fabric is great. But i realize i had done something wrong. The tshirt i order was not my fiancee size. I sent an email out explaining to th them my situation. I had check my email. And they replied, telling me they understand the situation and told me to go had and donate or give to a friend's or family member.
And they would greatly send out the right size tshirt@ no charge who does that? You certainly couldn't go to some mall and do that. But recently again I had purchase two more tshirts for my friend and his wife who lived in CA. I asked my friend before i purchase the tshirts he told me xlarge an a LG for his wife. So once again I sent my friend a picture of the tshirt.he was happy that I got them. But he apologized he asked if I can asked where I got them if they would re do the sizes and he would send me the$$ to have them done again. I email TeePublic again I was so embarrassed about it because they have a chart showing the sizes of female and Male tshirt. But as I sent that email they were quick to send me an email the next morning. Saying we understand your situation with ours product. Please donate are give to someone are ware around your home we would gladly resend you the right sizes,@ no charge. I was so overwhelmed because you don't find a lot of companies that will go above and beyond to help customers with product that they have purchase. TeePublic thank you guy's I am completely satisfied with my tshirt &I look forward to continuing buying more tshirt in the coming months keep up the good work and I would definitely recommend anybody that wants to know where I got it from. Sincerely W. Stjulian
Accidentally ordered a child's shirt. Shipped me a new one free of cost with no runaround. 11/10!
The sweatshirts look awesome! I had to exchange one - it was so easy, customer service was amazing!
I felt the need to write a review bc teepublic is a great company for me for Christmas shopping! They showed me every time how loyal and trustworthy they are.its I'ts important for a business online or in stores to have respect for people, that you can rely on. I ended up using teepublic late Nov and dec for xmas for my kids. Alot of their gifts are things you can't always buy from Walmart or target. U know itl get delivered less thsn a wk mostly. But i could not find certain items and stuff. I ordered like 8 things thru out this month. The orders, every one of them came within 3 weeks. Which I never trust unknown companies when it says 2wks or more so I was apprehensive. And i have had bad experience with many of these. But they worked super hard and got all of my orders delivered before xmas eve! I even got one order, a coffee mug and it cracked during shipping. I emailed them, and let me say they have the best customer service I've felt with in a pretty long time. They immediately responded and saw the pics and promised to expedite a new one so would be here for xmas and I got it yesterday. Business today are so selfish and rude. They don't care about the customers. But they should, and learn from tee public bc they always send it fix it and reply fast. It really made me happy. They didn't even give me time to even begin to worry and stress bc they replied so fast! Teepublic totally made my xmas season and shopping experience all around wonderful. Its never been this easy And that's what CS of a business should be doing too but not many do, teepublic catered so well to my orders that I had a great shopping experience bc of this company. I believe that what makes or breaks a company is customer service and communication. Especially the company's that aren't as huge. Its important to keep your customer's happy and they really did. It was a great experience for me and I'll go to them alot. It's rare today to deal with any employees at any job and them be respectful or know how to handle customers and clients, but teepublic was spot on. Definitely I recommend this place to everybody!
Here's the short version: I put up some designs, sold a few products and received less than %25 of my profits. Their backwards reasoning was as such(as proven in an email I received that I will gladly forward to anyone who asks):
"I could see how on the face of it, making ~25% per piece appears like it isn't much when you do the math per product. Just for your context, >>>>we've<<<<(not me, THEM) chosen to do fixed earnings here because we have discovered over years of market research that customers actually prefer a fixed price. Basically, the volume of sales is the difference-maker here. Consumers are charged the lowest price per product to entice the audience that is looking for the lowest-cost version of your product. The folks who are doing that are usually organic shoppers, and organic search and sales are huge on our site (the TeePublic Marketplace gets millions of visitors per month, which means lots of chances for your products to be seen!)
So when folks are already buying, they're more likely to come across a really cool product like yours and want to buy it, too. During sale time, for example, site volume and sales grow by 2x, thereby usually making up any differential you'd see per product sold."
Yeah, cool story and all, but I don't recall OK-ing that when it came to MY design, Teepublic. Maybe respect your designers more and ask for their input BEFORE you put up their work for peanuts? This is to say nothing of the fact that they should shoulder losses in profits when THEY are the ones who choose to put discounts up without the original designer's input, or the fact that the designer has NO say regarding the price of the item at ALL outside of the set price per type of item, or...yeesh. The moment you make ANY money on this site, a bunch of red flags appear. PLEASE: AVOID TEEPUBLIC LIKE THE PLAGUE, AS BOTH A BUYER AND SELLER.
It's been 3 weeks and I wrote an email because my items have not shipped. I wish I would have read the reviews on here prior to purchasing from this website because it's the same exact excuse as a few reviews down. So it's quite clear they use identical excuses. They wanted me to reconfirm my address and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the address. I wrote them an email almost a week ago because there was no status on my tracking number with ups and they just got back to me today. I Write a response email within a half an hour and of course they don't respond at all. So who knows if they actually read my email because I want them to overnight my stuff for the three-week waiting period already with no status whatsoever. Is this some type of business where there's one or two people in a garage or a basement somewhere just printing out t-shirts and they get that overwhelmed that they can't get to it and they just make up an excuse like the address was messed up? I guarantee they enter typos in the email after you email them looking for your stuff and blame it on you. You got to wake up a little earlier in the morning to try and full me with that childish finger-pointing excuse. Who the hell messes their address up that often? Seriously. And why not just be honest with people and tell them you're backed up and it's taking a long time instead of saying the same exact excuse as I read just a few reviews underneath mine. I'm sure if I kept scrolling I would see the same excuse used over and over and over again. Just be honest, people will feel a lot more confident and a lot better with you just coming right out and saying it instead of lying and coming up with the same excuse all the time. It's childish, it's unprofessional, it's cowardly, and it's not how you run a business. So please don't even respond to my review I'm writing right now because I already know what you're going to say because whoever deals with the public relations/customer service end of it is program to spit out questions and answers like a robot. So please do not even waste your time. Just send people stuff out. That's all they ask. It is not that hard. And if it is that difficult for this company to promise things that they can't follow through on, maybe you need to hire another person to make sure you execute those promises and stop being cheap. This is ridiculous and there's no excuse for it.
Order delivered as promised, as described, in timely manner. Good product and would buy from again.
The shirts are great! Quality shirts, creative designs, individually made. Customer service super.
Fantastic people, helpful, delivered on time, and the ts were fantastic...
Thanks a lot
Cheers...
I emailed and even tried to call (they won't answer phones). Noticing the recent reviews, looks like I am not alone. "Something is off here," (replied the customer support person on TrustPilot) - yes, it's obvious = TeePublic. I have my suspicions that this company takes orders and does not fulfill them, hoping people forget their orders.
Edit note: I have left this review on other review sites and almost immediately TeePublic actively attempted to flag and call my reviews false. Too bad I have actually receipt and documention of everything.
Nightmare. Ordered a very small, easy order and paid for expedited premium shipping. Their stated terms are 3 business day processing time. Waited... Checked back 5 days later and on 4th business day after checking my status - unprocessed, un-shipped and "pending." Contacted them clearly mentioning that my order was well past 3 full business days, received canned response that orders take "3 days to process and ship," guaranteed. Called - yep - straight to answering machine, told to email. Emailed again, told my order should arrive 16 DAYS from when I ordered. They can't do math and made ZERO effort "to correct the situation" (as they said in their previous comment to the last reviewer who also complained). What about me? TEEPUBLIC, several emails, canned unhelpful and incorrect responses, ruined event. If the shirts were ready on day 5 processing, were they? (I doubt it, doubt they were ever processed) they could have been "expedited" (similar to what I already paid), but nope nothing.
Extremely poor and unprofessional, questionable ethics: one trick some shops use are to take $ on orders and then conveniently not process, notifiy and ship. BEWARE, or simply avoid and don't support - questionable ethics, low integrity.
From my experience, I seriously doubt the shirts were "processed" [zero info] and frankly I have my doubts whether they would have been sent at all.
I even asked them to check and mentioned at first that I would expect the shirts to be sent expedited - no response or reply again to my question. And they never admitted or apologized that the order was past due!
I had no choice but to actually look now for places to leave a bad review to warn others, because there was simply no effort to correct the situation, check on shirt processing status (after the 3 day period had already lapse, etc).
The bad- every item in our order had quality issues! Wow, so unfortunate and unexpected as we had previously sent gifts using them and many friends order from them and never a bad experience. I was definitely discouraged and disappointed- but they worked very hard to make it right!
The good- Tee Public actively worked to fulfill their guarantee, going beyond what I asked for and processing refunds, returns, and exchanges and encouraged donation of items to spread the goodness. Always polite and helpful.
The details- stickers were not the quality I would expect based off images and descriptions and likely won't order more, the designs are super cool, but the print quality (looked like home ink printer- ie graphic on Christmas letter, pale, pixelated/grainy) just didn't hold up to similarly priced stickers from sites like Etsy and not something I would feel comfortable giving someone to put on a long-term item like a laptop or journal etc; instant refund. A magnet was smaller than described and off-center printing, though image quality was great- Tee Public reached out to the artist to correct print issues and replace, when they were unable to do so (replacement was sent without any corrections), refunded purchase price even though I said I did not need that. 1 shirt was reprinted as colors were slightly off and streaking where the ink didn't set and looks 100 times better- super pleased. Another was "off" due to the art file unfortunately, so they let us pick any different design. I made a typo in my reply (screenshot was of correct shirt type, but I typed the wrong wording) which led to them sending a more expensive shirt than what we had originally ordered- which fit differently and was too small. Even with that they honored their Holy Shirt guarantee and replaced that one with the correct shirt type and size, and said spread the happiness.
Takeaways: I was so stressed because the order was all gifts for people who are hard to find gifts for. It was a bit bumpy, but ultimately Tee Public made sure I didn't have to pay for anything that wasn't gift-worthy and restored some skeptical faith that a business is actually truthful about their guarantees and methods and really do care about spreading smiles. They made sure I was in at least as good if not better standing as I would have been if everything had come thru perfect on the order. Extremely pleased and will order again in the future.
It definitely feels odd that Tee Public doesn't have reviews or photos function on their main page- it would have been nice to see some actual products because I know digital doesn't always translate exactly, but that might just be an operating cost that isn't consistent with having such fantastic customer support resources and the thousands of designs and product options.
The Good:
1) I ordered multiple sizes of a specific Doctor Who tee, and when I finally received the tees they looked as good as what was posted online and the box had the correct number of each size shirt.
2) I received a swift and courteous reply to my first email to Customer Support about not having received the tees within the time stated on their website (each design is on sale for 7 days; 2 days after the sale closes, the tees are printed; 1 day after that the tees are shipped, thus nobody should have to wait more than 10 days to get their shirts) and that if I didn't get an email within 48 hours with tracking information about my shipment then I should contact them again.
The Bad:
1) I ordered my tees before Thanksgiving, expecting I would get them well before the Christmas holiday. My PayPal account was charged on Nov. 29th, but by Dec. 18th I still hadn't received my tees so I emailed Customer Support to see whether or not they'd been delivered. As stated above, I got a swift and courteous reply.
2) I got an email on Dec. 20 that my tees had been shipped. On December 20th. I sent another email expressing my disappointment that they'd shipped so late that I would not be able to give the gifts to people on time, and that they should review their ordering/shipping policy since they didn't fulfill their online promise of shipping within 10 days of ordering, but I was happy that I would eventually get my tees. Better late than never.
3) I got home from a family gathering late on Christmas Eve to find the box from BlueBoxTees had finally arrived. I opened the box and found all of the tees of the sizes I had ordered, neatly folded and stacked. HOWEVER, below my tees I found a packing slip and 3 tees for ANOTHER CUSTOMER in another state! Who knows how long ago this other person had ordered her tees? I fired off another email to Customer Support letting them know what had happened, that I would be kind enough to do their job and ship the tees to the other customer, that I was going to spread the word about my experience with their company, and that I would never order from their site again!
The coustemer service form TeePublic is awesome, To be honest this is the best customer service I've ever had.
I order 2 adult medium. Shirts and recieved 2 baby size 4 shirts im very displeased with this site
I have not ever experienced such amazing customer service as I have with TeePublic! Problem Solved!
Answer: I, fortunately, did not have poor customer service. When I reached out to them for an exchange, I heard back in less than 24 hours and they generously offered for me to keep the original shirt (to give it away) and sent me the new one!
Answer: That wasn't my experience. It took 11 days to even ship out of the store.
Answer: They dont do returns, they dont do anything. I was sent the wrong order size too. It says 2xl i needed a 3xl but a 2x is the size of the XL i have. Its a joke.
Answer: Contact them thru home page. I had an issue and they were very helpful and made it right!
Answer: I know it's too late now, but maybe this will help someone in the future. This info can be found under their FAQs section on their website: Where do your products ship from? Our apparel products will ship out of either Florida, Iowa, or Nevada. Stickers also ship from Iowa. Wall art ships from Wisconsin, while hard goods such as cases, notebooks and mugs will ship from Georgia.
Answer: Looks like they are trying to hide from all the trouble their poor business practices have made. Their Shirtmoney.com site (where they run their affiliate program has this phone number: 941-451-9441 Considering the FB page linked as the only other contact option comes up 404 not found, I suspect the number probably won't be good, either. Some of their domains obviously haven't been paid and are parked on a web host page right now. Their FB page for BlueBox is still up, though. You could also try there, but I don't know how responsive they are. https://www.facebook.com/BlueBoxtees I was in their affiliate program and trying to get a hold of someone when my payment was due and didn't get sent was about like pulling teeth. It's ridiculous to expect people to friend you on FB just to have contact for business purposes. Reputable business have, you know, professional email accounts and things like that for customer service.
TeePublic has a rating of 3.2 stars from 2,314 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with TeePublic most frequently mention customer service, wrong size and new shirt. TeePublic ranks 7th among T Shirts sites.
