We had a very good experience with The Brick on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us gave us an outstanding service. She is very professional, polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable in making our choice of the furniture. The furniture was delivered in the promised date and another piece arrived earlier than promised. The delivery guys, I did not get their names, were very efficient, polite and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up the area they worked in. We would shop at the Brick again. We are happy customers.
I purchased under the specific terms of your "Don't Pay for 48 Months" promotional offer from the Barrie, On location. The negotiation and agreement I entered into was clear: I would not be required to make any payments for 48 months, and no interest or negative impact on my credit would occur during this period, provided I adhered to the terms. Unfortunately, despite following the agreed terms, I have recently discovered that The Brick has faulted on this agreement. Payments have been recorded against my account, and this has resulted in damage to my credit score. I did not expect this breach of contract and find this situation unacceptable. I have contact the branch manager, sales rep(Long) and no resolution, buyer beware of these so called "dont pay a cent"

My fridge broke back in April, it is now September and I still do not have a working fridge. I have been waiting 6 MONTHS!
I purchased an extended warranty through this Brick location which Kind and State apparently "handles". They have been to my house over 5 times to "fix" the fridge. I haven't heard from them since June 30, they don't answer their phones or email, I can't get a hold of anyone. I've called the Brick back and they say it is not their problem.
I've never seen such horrendous customer service.

Bought a coffee table from them. And every time I received it it was damaged ( total of 3 times). They won't refund my money. I have bought the mattress $800 + $100 mattress cover for stains (which bricks offer store 25 warranty for extra 6 months) + $100 Box and $50 (total cost me with taxes $1171.37.
The mattress has worst quality the mattress is sagging and the body indentation is more then 2- 3 inches. I have contact brick within a year bricks have directed me a complicated claim process.
I have finally after 6 month to completed the process. I have spend one hours all the pictures' receipts submitted Within 1 year of purchase date.
After doing this hardship. Trans Global Service a transportation company replied on the behalf of Brick and have refused my claim by saying your mattress got some water stains. We do not cover the warranty if mattress has stain which their stain protects unable the mattress from stain.
I have explained everything to claim offer which all online. They don't even bother to come and inspect the mattress.
Just said cover and mattress is 2 different manufactures.

I bought a LG fridge with extra 2 years warranty on October 9 2019 within a year 2 times broken after year since November 18 2020 broken again
I called and went the brick nobody help me at all still now I don't have a fridge

I have been waiting since December 14 for repair to my LG refrigerator. I contacted The Brick December 15. They explained that the $400 warranty I had purchased was with King and State, and to deal with King and State for help. After doing the online request for service, taking pictures, providing receipt, no one contacted me. After 4 days, It took me 1 hour 4 minutes on hold, to speak to a representative. They filled in a form for repair and told me i would be contacted by a repair person bc within 3 business days. After 4 days I went to the Brick, furious. I explained my case, and the assistant manager said he would contact king and state. After 3 more days, the warranty provider called and told me it would be January 4 before I'd get to see a repair person. Indeed one did come. Diagnosed a bad compressor. Factory 10 year warranty… nothing to do with my extended warranty. Now I'm waiting on repairs. It's January 14. They say he will come on the 27th. No refrigerator for the whole Christmas season… no excuses, no remorse. Never ever dealing with this firm again.

I went to the Brick in Kelowna to look for a new bed. After showing me several beds in the store Amanda Sommers the consultant I was dealing with I was able to order the adjustable bed and mattresses and mattress covers at a fantastic price. Amanda was both courteous and pleasant to talk with. This is my second experience with the Brick and I am glad I went back to the Brick to make my purchase.

Last june 2020 purchased heinsen fridge. The fridge temperature gives different level of temperature. I called the techication 3 times and when they came they scannes the fridge and the temp gave different temperature every spot. They were hesitated and said nothing. They said thats how the fridge is.
I don't normally shop The Brick because of its shoddy reputation for product and sales support. I recently was in the market for a Murphy bed and saw one on a sales flyer. I went to the Winnipeg, Kenaston location and met up with sales rep Roy Tia. While that location didn't have the item on the floor, Roy worked hard to answer all my questions about the product. Later that day, I was contacted by the Kenaston store and advised where I could see the product in another Winnipeg location. After viewing the floor model and comparing the exact product with a number of on line sources, we found the Brick's price was very competitive. We decided to purchase the item from The Brick and Roy worked with us to seal the deal and ensure that the item was available at the distribution centre when promised... this required him to spend some of his day off in confirming the arrangements to ensure my pick up experience was positive and productive. Pick up at the Distribution centre was friendly, efficient and competent. We'll see how the product works out at home (we just received it), time will tell. This has been a positive experience due to the diligence and professionalism of Roy Tia... good job Roy!

We've purchased a stove that had to be replaced 3 times because the service tech, after looking at the stove, said no parts are available. The stove was 3 years old, so we had to order another at extra cost to us. We got the stove and when we turned on the oven it got so hot on the outer surface that it was dangerous. We call for service, stove needs replacing, at again extra charge to us. What's the point of having a warranty if it costs us money? The frigid we purchased at the same time had dents in the door, we called for service, tech said they didn't put enough insulation in the door, six doors later there's still a dent in it? They were both LG. Now to the leather chairs we purchased, broke after 6 months, called for service, tech brought parts to repair, fine, one month later they broke again. Service tech comes, now no parts available, we have to purchase new chairs. The only problem is that we need to spend another $1000 to get similar. Again what's the point of getting extended warranty when it's going to cost to get a replacement. So we headed to the store and confronted the salesman who brought the manager, the manager said we don't refund money which at this point is what we want, at which point he turned and walked away, not resolving anything. The brick is the most useless retail store ever! Don't waste your money. Now we're stuck with broken chairs and nothing to replace them with unless we spend another $1000. I hope head office reads this and does something about it. We are extremely frustrated at this company.

Me and my family and friends members went to Brick because of her service. We purchase our every single product form Brick.

I have bought all of my Appliances/Electronics/Furniture over the year from the Brick and have always received outstanding service. My most recent purchase was a Sofa and Love Seat. The price was excellent (on sale) and it was "Made in Canada" which also sealed the deal. I was skeptical at first because I thought I would be waiting months for my furniture delivery date due to 2 years of Covid and lack of Merchandise. To my delight the sales rep "Zane Little" indicated that the Sofa could be delivered to me in 5 Days! It arrived and set up speedily and efficiently by the Brick Team. However, the Love Seat could take 2 weeks to maybe October or November to arrive. Zane said he would see what he could do and try to hunt one down in the warehouses across Canada. I needed a new sectional and have a very finite space. I first tried to buy from a local family shop, but they had nothing that would fit my space. I went to the Brick outlet in my town and was given the service of going to the counter and asking if they had anything that would fit my space No is all I received. Now I'm left with the internet, searching and searching. I find a six piece at the Brick that could have a piece removed and fit my space, as it was modular. I ordered and set up a delivery (that was extra). They allowed me online to pick a Saturday delivery, however, I get a phone call to rell me that they will deliver on Friday and Saturday was no longer an option. I had some vacation days left and took Friday off to have them deliver. They arrived with all six pieces still in the packaging that they would have been in the original port from which it shipped. They then proceeded to pop a piece through my door, damaging the door jam, shrugged and said "it won't fit". They left the pieces on my front lawn, had me sign their clipboard and left. This is furniture delivery? My door is no smaller than any other door. When I have had furniture delivered before, they would at least break down the packaging to a point it would get in the door! I managed, it is assembled and I am happy with the product. They do have good products but the service ( in my opinion, what makes us shop where we do) is, simply awful.
The brick changed so much, customer service is terrible, when you call to ask a question you can't even understand the person on their end, you ask for someone else you get the same accent you can't understand at all, you go face to face with the staff a scruffy girl on the answering desks, her hair is not even brushed and the gum in her mouth blowing bubbles, I had to repeat myself 4 times for her to understand me, I repeated my phone number 3 times she still had it wrong, for the brick to pay half the wages for emergencies to save money they sure are losing lots of locals businesses, the last experience I had with them I was angry yelling out words for her to understand, while I was there another girl came in screaming and cursing at them for the same problem, this is my last time buying anything from the brick and I will spread the word everywhere's.
We purchased a 3 seater + a 2 seater sofa set in December 2021. After 6 months, the fabric started to show lint. I've attached pictures from every angle to show how bad it has gotten in just 6 months. We are just a family of two so you can imagine how poor quality this fabric must be.
I did not panic as I knew we had taken the so called "5 year brick warranty", by paying an additional charge. When I went to the brick outlet in Edmonton South Common, the Store Manager told me that it is usual for this type of fabric to show lint after 6 months, which he described as "Pilling".
I inquired as to why does Brick sell such a product if its not going to maintain its appearance and quality even for 6 months, I got the following responses from him:
- "that's how it is, I just work here as a store manager"
- "I bought the same sofa/fabric for myself, faced the same issue and Brick never returned it. I had to just flip the cusions to bear with it."
- "No the warranty you bought does not cover any such thing"
Brick should never sell a product that won't even last for 6 months, let alone 5 years (the extended warranty period that I bought separately). You should not advertise such warranties with hidden Caveats that mislead buyers.
I was denied any replacement, repair or return. If their own store managers are facing such issues and openly accepting that they got stuck with such poor quality Sofa as well, Brick should recall these products, refund their customers and stop selling such poor quality products.
I purchased a whirlpool side by side refrigerator from the Brick!

The refrigerator stopped working in January 2023
Although I was extremely frustrated that the refrigerator stopped working and I lost all the food in the Refrigerator and freezer, I was relieved because I had purchased the extended warranty.
I contacted the Brick In January and they put me In Touch with the insurance company that I purchased the warranty with …through them.
It will be May in two days and I am still without a refrigerator and freezer … they came out and looked at the fridge In February and the repair has still not been made!
I am so frustrated…. I purchased 6 major appliances through The Brick when I built my house and when I really needed them to come through for me… they failed!
The brick company just want to give me $350 Sofa was broken when I bring it home each time they keep telling me they're still waiting for parts they're offering me the 350 I want my money back $2000 for my sofa which they don't wanna doear it's still waiting for parts to be fixed I do not want their 350 I want them to take this sofa back because it's over $2400 for it I need my money back and they keep telling me the parts didn't come the parts didn't come I'm a senior and I should not be made a fool
We had a sofa (sectional) the laying part was broken (wouldn't connect to couch), sofa chair had no padding in one arm rest. They brought us new pieces and never took the old.
