We had a very good experience with The Brick on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us gave us an outstanding service. She is very professional, polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable in making our choice of the furniture. The furniture was delivered in the promised date and another piece arrived earlier than promised. The delivery guys, I did not get their names, were very efficient, polite and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up the area they worked in. We would shop at the Brick again. We are happy customers.
I purchased under the specific terms of your "Don't Pay for 48 Months" promotional offer from the Barrie, On location. The negotiation and agreement I entered into was clear: I would not be required to make any payments for 48 months, and no interest or negative impact on my credit would occur during this period, provided I adhered to the terms. Unfortunately, despite following the agreed terms, I have recently discovered that The Brick has faulted on this agreement. Payments have been recorded against my account, and this has resulted in damage to my credit score. I did not expect this breach of contract and find this situation unacceptable. I have contact the branch manager, sales rep(Long) and no resolution, buyer beware of these so called "dont pay a cent"
Don't buy anything from this disgusting company. Incompetent staff and horrible customer service. They don't ever pick up calls or deliver appliances on time.
We spent good money for a 5 year warranty. Our leather couch ripped after 3 years. We were told no, the product is no longer available. Repair was not an option either.
Terrible

The Brick has absolutely horrible customer service -- read non-existent. No one ever picks up the phone, nor replies to emails. When given this feedback in-person, they just shrug. Do not shop here!
Would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to Stephane Huot for taking the time to accompany me and provide comments on which Washer and Dryer would be best for my family.
Also, his dedication of service is really excellent and does not hesitate to call you back if anything is not to your liking.
Have a great day!

The brick at galleries D'anjou is one of the worst brick ever, the cashier look very confused like she had no idea of what she was doing, the manager name Amir or Amid should never be in charge no management skills very rude guy is an $#*! hole, if you don't have patients don't waste your time to go there, I went there to change my mattress because of a factory default when I get there it was another story they want us to pay full price a for new mattress and pay for two bags while they only giving us one mattress, I feels like I was getting scams terrible business they deserve zero stars.
I purchased a mattress and boxspring and slats at the Brick in Pemboke. On delivery the slats were missing. I had called the day before the scheduled delivery and talked to Patty to ensure they were with the delivery. They were not so I called Nicole at the Brick who suggested I get and upgrade to a steel slats and said I could pick them up on Saturday as after spending $1500. They would not deliver them until the next scheduled delivery a week later. The original slats were on back order until June 2021. On Saturday they could not find the slats that I was promised. Thank God for Brian who works weekend only. He was nice and after 1/2 hour of search did find the proper stats( supposedly were on back order. Obviously The Brick does not read the reviews or they would try to improve their service. Thank you Brian. Not so much for Patty and Nicole. I woud not recommend this store.

The online claim caused hours of frustration. Staff in Kelowna repeatedly stated we

We recently purchased 6 appliances from The Brick, when they delivered our appliances the delivery team scratched the side of our new fridge.
They said nothing about it, placed the fridge and they were lucky as the scratch did not protrude from where the fridge was placed in our kitchen.
Next our washing machine broke down, even after purchasing their extra warranty, which we were told would guarantee prompt service and speedy repair. Well apparently prompt service is to wait 3 days for a service technician to come out, diagnose the problem then give you an estimate of when they will return to repair the problem. Which he said was a common occurrence on these Samsung washers. So The Brick knew there were issues with the product.
In our case it seems you cannot get a washer repaired in less than 3 weeks.
No offers of a temporary replacement nothing to help anyone out, other than to bad.
I then called the Duncan BC store where we purchased the products and I spoke with Jim. He laughed shrugged me off and said it is what it is, nothing I can do about it. Then bragged that some people are waiting 3 to 4 months for repairs. I think that is ludicrous.
Long story short, their delivery people will hide their mistakes, their sales department will sell you faulty appliances and encourage you to spend extra money on a warranty the don't honour, then laugh at you when they break down.
Please do not shop at these stores.

Bought LG fridge, stove and dishwasher two years ago. Also purchased the extended warranty. Fridges freezer stopped working, lost all our frozen meat(estimated at around 700 dollars) ice maker ceased working as did the water dispenser. After waiting one week of trying to contact them a service person came to look at it, told us they would have to order the parts. It's been two weeks and it is still not been repaired. Now they have offered us a pro rated in-store credit towards the purchase of a new unit. I am confused as to why they think that this is a solution. Why would I have to purchase a new fridge when the one I purchased is less than two years old! To add insult to injury they told us to contact our insurance company to reimburse us for the spoiled food. This is the worst customer service i have ever endured. I would not deal with Brick ever again, all they do is pass the buck on. As for the extended warranty (king and state) it's a total waste of money, when you phone them make sure your phone is fully charged because you could be waiting for hours just to be told that it's unusually high call volume. It's been three weeks without a fridge, totally unacceptable and we should not have to spend hours of our time trying to get results! Would not purchase an LG appliance ever again and would not take my business to the Brick!
Don't shop at the brick they have very very bad customer service! They don't honour what they say they are only there for grabbing your money after they do you are garbage! I will never shop at the brick ever again! They are theives! I would rate them a big *******! I wouldn't even give them a star rating but it asked me tooo! How unfortunate!

We were very lucky to have Mr. Majinder (Manny) at Heartland, Brick in Mississauga.
While purchasing the washing machine, he was very knowledgeable and courteous, we are happy.
And, the delivery staff Martin and Shawn were very courteous, hard working, organised and fast with very good people skills.
Thank you to Majinder Manny, Martin & Shawn and hope to meet them again.

Purchased a washer and dryer. Disconnected all hoses and plugs on old machines as instructed in preparation for arrival of new set. Received a call advising they had not taken the old dryer away as it still had the pedestal attached. The salesperson never told us it needed to be disconnected. There is nothing in any of the paperwork indicating this needs to be done. We were then told the pedestal is actually considered a as a 3rd appliance. We then discovered that the washer was installed incorrectly and was unusable. We have sent emails and phone calls to customer service, warehouse, corporate and the salesperson. We never got a response from any of them. Through "online chat" we were advised that warehouse had decided they would not be coming back to remove old dryer and or to correct the installation mistake. We were told that once we signed for the appliances, they take no responsibility for installation, even if done incorrectly. We bought an extended warranty and don't believe that it will be worth the paper it is written on. Buyers beware! If you can get your products elsewhere, do so.
Tip for consumers:
That pedestals are considered an extra appliance for removal.
Delivery persons “are not professional installers.”
Do not sign anything and make the delivery person’s wait until you test the product to ensure it works first.

We just came here in Calgary. We bought Headboard, Mattress Frames Queen and Dresser. They delivered it, but the problem are insufficient hardware attached with it. We called them, they don't have stock of these hardware. HOW WE CAN USE IT. Until now, these items were and they kept on delaying us to pull it out and refund our payments. This is really a nightmares... WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

Today I had the worst after sale experience ever at The Brick "marche centrale". Their employee that is called "cheick" insulted me and told me that I am an "ARAB ANIMAL" because I was angry at the $#*!ty product they sold me and was angry at me for taking a picture of him and wanted to fight me until one of his colleague stepped in.
I am shocked that Brick offers such service and hire this kind of employee. At the price we pay at The Brick they should give their employees some training.
You can see in the picture the quality of wood they put in the couches.

I had very good experience with the sales person. We got three appliances. The refrigerator had two damages. I contacted the customer service and sent them the explanation of the damage and the photos of the damage.
To get and exchange i have to wait 4 months or keep damaged refrigerator and get $50.00 refund. To repair the damage would cost over $200.00. I was tempted to return it but my tenants will be without the refrigerator for a day or so till I get another one from another company.
I was told that since the refrigerator was on sale company can only afford to pay $50.00.
Iwe wee going to order $9000. 00 worth of appliances for other two properties but we are taking our business elsewhere.
I wish Ihad read the reviews before giveing the brick business. I was referred to the sales person and he was great.
Tip for consumers:
I would stay away from the brick.

One of the worst delivery system. They kept on postponing every week. They have already postponed 7 times. I will never buy anything again from the Brick.
The brick is the worst place I have every bought furniture from. There staff are not fully trained about how there financing works and they lie to you just to get a sale.
I bought a sofa a few years ago the quality is so poor that the fabric under the sofa is falling apart like powder. I have never had seen such poor quality furniture. My vacuum cleaner is clogged with torn fabric coming from under the sofa.DO NOT SHOP IN THIS STORE!
I purchased a dinning room set that cost me almost 2k (after purchasing 10k in furniture and appliances)
I contacted them and advised that after only a few days my table was stained with water and that the stains wont come out. My whole table is ruined. An agent called me back and left me a voicemail that they would offer me 100$ reimbursement. After approximately 2-3weeks of purchasing the set, one of my chairs broke. I contacted them yet again and they emailed me back saying well its a wood table… they stain there is nothing we can do, go on youtube and look at videos on how to wash it. And that the 100$ no longer applies since its normal to have water stains.
They offered me 60$ reimbursement or 80$ credit in store….
The dinning room set is called Macsen 7 piece dinning package with fig chairs. The screws in the chair are always loose… I have to tighten them every few days.
Do not buy from The Brick.
I purchased one set of power recliner at bricks few years ago, on the day of purchased the salesperon persuaded me to purchase the 5 years warranty as well, and clearly state that if there was no warranty claim during the warranty term, I will receive the full circle credit available instore credit, 5 years warranty term ended and I ran to the store for the equiry on the circle credit, the customer service gave me the other story that I'm not entitle for the credit, since the credit only on electrics or appliances。I'm shocked and desperate, will a customer purchase warranty on a table or furniture, it's drive me crazy, it is redicurious from a big company, so never ever purchase warranty. Or you should recorded everything when the salesperson promised in black and white on purchasing
Bought a Fridge from the SUNRIDGE Calgary Location. Has a 2 Year Manufacturer's warranty. Bought Their 4-year extended warranty, Thinking we now have a 6-year warranty (FALSE). They refuse to honor that because their policy starts after 1 year Manufacturer's warranty doesn't matter if the manufacturer gives 2 years, they overlay the manufactures warranty voiding out 1 year. In other words, we lost 1 year of our warranty. Talked to the salesman and his manager who went beyond integrity to lie and tell us we don't have what we paid for.
Tip for consumers:
We would be buying a Standup Freezer in 3 months, but we will take our business elsewhere. Find a more HONEST company. We are honest people, more trusting than we should be.

The brick said I cannot return a bedframe that was sold to me in stores by a salesperson on their website due to the fact there were no appealing options in store to go along with my mattress. When I got the bed it was not as advertised and instead made of terribly cheap wood - not metal as the ad suggested. Then the sales people tried to time me out of the 48 hour window that is not mentioned anywhere to prevent me from being able to get a re-selection! I told them i wanted my money back and they simply told me to go to Better business bureau because they don't do refunds... Pay attention to the overwhelming number of 1 star reviews because those are the real ones... The 5 star reviews are what they ask you to do in store for a discount as was suggested by our sales person. Also see better business bureau and see how many complaints are posted there and you will simply wonder how they are not shut down. It also doesn't help that their CEO is literally someone who "worked" their way from the stock room the the big chair with zero education.
Tip for consumers:
A tip for the site is to remove the 5 star reviews because they are fake.

My rating would be Zero - if I could - the 1 star is way too generous!
When it is the homeowner's responsibility to fix damage done to a $500 screen door when delivery personnel is removing an un-working appliance? When the delivery personnel takes advantage of a young adult and advises that the document they are signing is just a delivery notification. The Deerfoot Meadows, Calgary, Alberta store (by Ikea in the SE) states that it was the damage sheet was signed and now I am left with a screen door that does not work.
