We had a very good experience with The Brick on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us gave us an outstanding service. She is very professional, polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable in making our choice of the furniture. The furniture was delivered in the promised date and another piece arrived earlier than promised. The delivery guys, I did not get their names, were very efficient, polite and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up the area they worked in. We would shop at the Brick again. We are happy customers.
I purchased under the specific terms of your "Don't Pay for 48 Months" promotional offer from the Barrie, On location. The negotiation and agreement I entered into was clear: I would not be required to make any payments for 48 months, and no interest or negative impact on my credit would occur during this period, provided I adhered to the terms. Unfortunately, despite following the agreed terms, I have recently discovered that The Brick has faulted on this agreement. Payments have been recorded against my account, and this has resulted in damage to my credit score. I did not expect this breach of contract and find this situation unacceptable. I have contact the branch manager, sales rep(Long) and no resolution, buyer beware of these so called "dont pay a cent"
Worst piece of furniture ever purchased. Purchased 2 years ago and the seat is already collapsing in and sinking into the frame. I had purchased 5 year warranty. When I called in for coverage I was told this was normal wear and tear. Other recliners I own are more than 10 years old and have never run into this problem. I was told since the springs were not broken the structure is considered sound and warranty does not cover this. Extremely poor furniture and self serving warranty. Will never shop at The Brick again.
I recently purchased a sectional at the Edmonton North store. I had an incredible salesman, Simon S.
He knew exactly what I was looking for and went out of his way to make sure I got the best deal available. I have been very pleased with my purchase. The finance staff, Jennifer and Ginny, amazing job. The delivery crew, Kyle and his team, came in set it all up and made sure what I purchased is what they delivered. Very professional and courteous! I was told a delivery date and received it on that date. Added bonus, my furniture is made in Canada.
The Brick is a sales-focused organization, meaning hey will do whatever they can to make the sale and leave you high and dry when it comes to warranty, support, and installation. I received a stove, washer and dryer, and fridge. The washer and dryer needed installation, the installation order was done badly so it took over 2 weeks for an installer to come, and many back and forth with the brick to get any assistance at all. The salesperson who facilitated the sale stopped replying to my emails. Recently the stove had issues and they said I had to contact the manufacture, even though I paid for the warranty, saying their warranty only kicked in after a year, which was not what I was told and understood.
I know the deal might look good, but just stay away, they are a poorly serviced company and you will probably regret it later on.
We purchased a adjustable bed in sept. It was delivered on a Friday and set on the room I asked the driver to set it up and remote large amount of cardboard. I was told they don't do that but the web site saved if a adjustable bed it would be set up.
The del man BRAD was so unprofessional the time he argued with me the 3 could have set it up
He has reined a great relationship with our family and friend that have always been happy with the sales man Jag D
I not sure we will ever purchase anything again as we have purchased thousands of dollars at the brick to bad such poor drivers go out of there way to ruin a good thing
I purchased sofa set on Jan 11 2023 and was promised delivery in the first week of Feb (3 rd or 4th)
To my surprise whenever I call they give different dates of delivery saying delivery in the 1st week of March and some staff says 3rd week of March.
When the inventory is not available why they give false information or promises to customers by putting it on sale. Is it just to take money from customers to do business with that money.
Such a big name and so disappointing sales tactics and business ethics.
I am very sad and request to be careful in doing business with them as they are not trust worthy.

I got a TV from the brick and they delivered a wrong one after 6 days. Their salesman lied to me because of getting his commission. It is a shame for that shop. He showed me a black TV but they sent me a gray one. I called them and asked to return it. But they answered they could not do that. I never ever trust the brick salespeople. Please be careful when you are shopping and check everything completely because they are not honest. I do not recommend you the shop that I purchased my TV.
Tip for consumers:
Please do not trust the Brick salespeople. They lie to you easily because of getting their commissions.

Don't get anything from this store! We got a couch with a warranty that costed around $300. We have a dog and a kid in the house so the couch got ugly (but quality was already BAD beforehand). So we asked them to replace it with the warranty. Guess what? They said it's misused and neglected? We sit on this couch everyday! WITH A KID FFS! How can we also report it within 14 days when the damage was happening overtime? Dumb company, scam warranty, idiot inspector. Bad company in general! Read all the news people it's everywhere on google. Robbers.
So i bought a Benson sofa December 28th 2020. There were 0 in stock. 2 weeks its in. 1 week in arm frame has damage been pushed in. I had noticed display model same issue. The quality is not there I'm told service will come have a look at it. If issue is resolved i will update or take down. I have a feeling this will happen again.
After doing research and going to four different stores in our community, I found what I was looking for through Mary at The Brick in Peterborough. She was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I decided to call my husband to come to the store as it was a special offer for that day only and we needed to make a decision. We wanted a King Sized bed. With each of us having with different sleep issues, Mary gave us time to discuss things on our own. She came back when we asked her to do so and there was no pressure put on us. We had additional question which were answered to our satisfaction. The delivery was also within a week and the three gentlemen were friendly, asked questions to ensure we got exactly what we wanted, were quick and tidied up before they left. This was on a very rainy day, They ensured that we were happy before they left. My husband and I are very pleased with how this entire process happened and are very grateful to the Brick.

This site was easy go through and well thought out.

Not the adjustable bedframe but a wooden frame with wooden slats as the adjustable one did not work for us. This is the reason why I did not supply a copy of our bill because it will be adjusted with the next delivery and exchange.
Never buy extended warranty with bricks because I have problems with them about two months for my oven to fix but it is not fixed yet and I should wait another 4-5 weeks, bricks said sorry we can't do anything and their warranty company(king & state) doesn't care about it. Their reviews which I saw it today be careful when you go to buy something from brick with extended warranty
The brick store and the warranty department are so bad, it is easy to take money from people for warranty but it is hard to claim it. It's giving me a hard time just to claim my warranty money. And the people working at brick have no knowledge, every one say something different. Even I try to use my warranty for the sofa, I couldn't and the technician came and didn't do any thing, they told me that's mean i used my warranty. I don't recommend the warranty at the brick because it just waste money and you can't use them and is not easy to claim it.

Paying for Warranty on the sofa is so bad, they don’t fix it and told me I used my warranty
I ordered a GE Cafe Range on Dec 2020 and there were problems at delivery. MABE (manufacturer) has accepted to refund it after a technician diagnosis (control panel, scrolls, isolation, button, etc.). And then I went to the Kirkland store and they proposed to change a new one for me instead of refund.
It has been almost 12 months and I did not get the new one. The store called me several time to delay the delivery (last message said to delivery on Jan 2022).
Now, the range is out of service with other problems (large burner doesn't work). The store seems ignore my several call and e-mails.
By the way, I never get any reply after the complain I had files on the site web of Brick.
This is the quality of mattresses the Brick sells. They are your best friend, following you around the store until you buy something, then so long sucker. The picture is 6 months after bringing it home and they refuse to replace it.
We had to replace our mattress which was on warranty. Dealing with Brick Customer Service in Edmonton/Alberta (Anita) was a nightmare. Only after involving Serta and Jessica from local Brick store in Belleville, 3 months later, the issue was finally resolved. And her explanation for the delay in getting back to me "I have a lot of customers to deal with "
I don't write reviews but had to this time.
Just received my purchase of a dresser. Opened the seal of the box only to see the product. Noticed the height of the drawer (for actual usage) was very small- called The Brick- spoke to Christina ( the Supervisor)- told me I could not return the dresser.
Never heard of such a thing. It's crazy. She said even if the seal of the box is opened-can't return it. This too, was a request I made within 24 hrs of picking it up!
She said, it's written on the wall- really?
If Brick has such an unreasonable return policy that I believe 99.9% if retailers don't have- they have to ensure the salesperson/ cashier informs the customer.
Go somewhere else. Customer service stinks.
I had bought a daybed for my daughter and twice in a year had to have it fixed for the same issue. The design is not correct for the type of bed. The screws would slide down the melamine casing the bed to droop. It has happened for a third time, within 6 months of the first time but is after the 1 year warranty. They will not do anything for me. The service was awful in the store I went to to purchase so ordered it online so really I purchased directly from The Brick not the physical store. I will never buy from this place again. Product is cheap and any company that doesn't stand behind their product, I won't stand for them
Delayed delivery... once delivered - broken. Promised a credit - not honouring the credit when it came to pay off the bill. Now being ignored. Terrible customer service right off the bat. Will definitely never go there again and will be urging everyone I know to do the same.

Would like to thank Zahid Malik for a wonderful shopping experience at the Brick. We were well informed, which made our purchases easier and put at ease knowing we made the right choices, from the knowledge and advise from the Brick team!
We came to 2 different stores in Mississauga to purchase a set of bed for our baby and both of them was terrible service. One, They left us and go to other customers between the conversations. Others, they said they will send someone for help but there was no one came to us. I would never recommend The Brick to anyone else and NEVER buy anything from this store again. Shame on them!
Dryer purchased on Dec. 29. Delivered, but not installed on Jan. 10. Appointment with a technician on Jan. 29. He looked at the dryer and said "Oh I don't do that!". Paid $250 for this. Client service is a joke, unable to make another appointment to install dryer (They've been "looking at the schedule to determine availability" for 2 days now).
Sales rep was totally useless when I went back to the store to try and find a solution. Super aggressive with me and his coworker, who was trying to help. He also gave me inaccurate information, which I'm lucky I did not use, or it would have made matters worse.
I had to purchase a $120 kit for the installation (from another company, they don't carry what is necessary to install their own appliances!) as I need a side vent to be installed. That's like buying a car with no wheels. Kit should be included, or at least available in their stores.
"Bad service" doesn't even begin to describe my experience. I'll never buy anything from The Brick, ever again.

Purhased a washing machine and a dryer. Dryer stil uninstalled due to poor service, 23 days after delivery (which happened 12 days after purchase).
I have dealt with 3 different Brick stores and their online chat in 2 different provinces and have only had a good experience with the west Edmonton store. The other stores do not bother with notifications of delivery delays nor do they want to deal with damaged goods or anything else regarding customer service. It's hard to get a customer service person to listen to your complaint and if they promise you a call back it's probably not going to happen.
Started with the delivery, rude delivery men, damaged the floor (which they denied) hooked up machines incorrectly (which they indicated they didn't set them up even though it was part of the purchase agreement) My damage claim was denied without even speaking to me. Promise of phone call backs which never happened. Worst customer service ever. This will be my last time purchasing at the brick

Lies from the beginning. Went to St-Hubert franchise in September. Salesman recommended us to pay full amount for our sectional as it would arrive sooner, told us it would arrive 1.5 months. Today we were told the date was pushed back to mid January. If you order it today on their website they still mention that delays are around 1.5 months.
This situation is so sad! I bought a king size foam mattress at The Brick in Kitchener, after few months of use I notice it was bad to my body so I claimed the warranty and had it exchanged to new coil system king size mattress (cost of 3 thousand). After 3 months of use I have noticed it sinking down, I immediately claimed the warranty. The technician came to inspect the mattress and notice that it was already sunk 1 inch. After all this, my body and back already hurt, I got the information of the claimed was refused because the warranty says the Mattress has to sink 1 1/2 minimum in order for replacement. Mattress 3000.00, and got this joke! They do what they want to sell. Then after, that's what the client gets! Never again buy anything at The Brick! Poor quality!

My husband and I recently bought a couch from the brick. We are extremely happy with it. The metal legs are wonderful and it is very comfortable. We have made many purchases from the brick. We always seem to look at other stores but ultimately 9 times out of 10 end up purchasing from the Brick. The customer service in the Red Deer AB store is exceptional by the way.
