We had a very good experience with The Brick on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us gave us an outstanding service. She is very professional, polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable in making our choice of the furniture. The furniture was delivered in the promised date and another piece arrived earlier than promised. The delivery guys, I did not get their names, were very efficient, polite and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up the area they worked in. We would shop at the Brick again. We are happy customers.
I purchased under the specific terms of your "Don't Pay for 48 Months" promotional offer from the Barrie, On location. The negotiation and agreement I entered into was clear: I would not be required to make any payments for 48 months, and no interest or negative impact on my credit would occur during this period, provided I adhered to the terms. Unfortunately, despite following the agreed terms, I have recently discovered that The Brick has faulted on this agreement. Payments have been recorded against my account, and this has resulted in damage to my credit score. I did not expect this breach of contract and find this situation unacceptable. I have contact the branch manager, sales rep(Long) and no resolution, buyer beware of these so called "dont pay a cent"
PRINCE GEORGE store Tom approached us to see if we needed assistance... we told him what we were looking for and he explained and showed us every option we could have wanted to see... he was very enlightening and brutally honest regarding construction materials and use of all the items... we made a purchase the one day and returned the next day to purchase 5 other items... i hate shopping, but if I see what I need I'll get it... From my first contact with Ashley looking for the printout explaining warranties which she sent to me immediately by email (I had requested this from my salesperson & one other person over several days but never heard from them).
I had difficulty with the 1st delivery of our fridge & to arrange for a 2nd delivery was almost impossible to arrange until I contacted Ashley who arranged the successful delivery of our new fridge.
Ashley was simply amazing throughout professional, patient, explaining how things worked & assisted me on the long journey.
I believe she should be cloned & deserves much appreciation from her bosses as an example of how to deal with customers!

We just bought an adjustable bed on Sunday Feb 27. The best costumer service. We were not followed around pressured whatsoever. We told Kristine what we were looking for. She showed a quite a few mattresses that met our requirements. I would go back there for any of mattress needs, and would recommend to others.
Daniel St Pierre assisted us with our purchase of a King Size bed, he was very knowledgeable about the products and worked with us to put together a package that worked within our budget. Helpful, courteous and professional without pressuring sales tactics. Great representative of the Brick

Couch that we ordered was on the wrong side. There was no instructions had to go online to figure out how to put it together. The delivery drivers were very rude and did not install the couch. When questioned the manager did not care. Within 3 months pf having the couch it started to fall apart. Will never return to the store in Windsor Ontario
Why does it take someone to write a review to hear back from someone, bought a carpet almost slipped twice. Thank goodness I didn't hurt myself, rolled it up and put it away because there is no grip. The chair has no support, is wobbly and caused severe back pain. Seriously not what I expected from the brick
Want cheap sub quality furniture at top dollar? Got money to throw away? Go ahead and buy at the Brick! Paid 3K for a couch that fell apart just over a year after purchase. Looks like flea market quality. Worst cheaply made expensive furniture I ever bought. Save yourself the trouble and buy elsewhere.
We ordered a sofa set back in November of 2020 and still have not received it. I would periodically call for the status of delivery and all they keep telling me is that the manufacturing company has been pushing the delivery date and they keep saying its going to be another couple of weeks. That was two months ago. I'm not sure if I should cancel my order at this point since we have already waited 5 months. I have ordered furniture from Costco and Amazon and they have had it delivered within a week. I understand its Covid but this is ridiculous. I will never be dealing with this company again

Purchased a couch over a month ago. Paid in full ($4800). Was told it will be delivered in 1 month, called to follow up week before delivery to be told my order is now expected in February. NO CALL from my sales rep to inform me of this VERY long wait. Also Called Cyber Monday for discount on the couch, for my sales rep NOT to tell me that anything over $499 is free delivery. Left me feeling very discouraged and that they don't care at all about customers, just their commission that he didn't even work for, we had to ask him to come help us, as no one approached us. Pretty bad when the customer has to hunt for a sales rep. Awful. Really wished I could have given sales rep from Leons my business. However they didn't offer the couch we fell in love with. Not sure Ill be shopping at the Brick again.
No return policy is like a scam. They gave store credit but made it so difficult to use. Customer service hotline never answered. Non email replied. No follow up phone call as promised. No wonder ranking 459 in the store field. Unfriended the store. Rate it 1 star because had to.

It amazes me that a company like the brick would write us requesting information such as accounts, what happened to get to the complaint and when you let them know everything they continue to ignore you. Conclusion as of today August 24th 2022 nothing further has been received from the brick about the treatment we received from flexiti, the bricks financial services company. Don't think the brick cares because they reach out for information because based on our experience, it's clear, they don't give a damn.

Use caution when using the brick credit card. And don't expect the brick to help you when you have problems with their credit card services.

When it comes to the brick card financed by flexiti, use caution. Flexiti took over brick accounts and we had no problems until this company took over the card. Without warning flexiti stopped sending bills. We need monthly bills to pay or they might be forgotten. And yes we forgot and to collections they went. Despite explanation of no monthly bills for months and since our payments were not high enough they had nothing but attitude. We've been making payments and still in collection's the account is in. It's almost paid off but flexiti is still choosing to mark our credit rating. Our advice, use caution when using the brick card. Their interest rate is huge. It was once a good card to use but that ended the day these people took over. We will not shop the brick again as we are sure we are not an isolated case. And finally after many months, we received a bill but at a cost of $3.00 more. Nice, real nice.

I received a reply from Karlee about our complaint and requested information which we provided to her. And we've heard nothing in return. I guess that's the brick for you. If you don't use their credit card company flexiti, you won't get into problems. Don't use them.

A Karlee from the brick review asked for more information which was supplied to her about a week or so ago. I sent her a reminder email two days ago about not hearing from her. Still no response from Karlee. Sad. Keep this in mind should you run into problems with the brick or its services.

I had a great experience at Brick while purchasing a bedroom set. The sales associate (Kimberly Latimer) was very professional and went out of her way to get me the best deal. She was very patient even though it was almost closing time. The delivery was on time and the boys did an excellent job bringing it in safely. I would glad shop there again. I bought a table & chairs & "matching" bench seat from the Brick. They delivered it 3 months late. I was leaving the following day after delivery for 3 weeks on a planned trip so did not have opportunity to unpack the bench seat until I returned. It is the wrong height. Although they were 3 months late delivering, & I foolishly accepted delivery the day before a scheduled trip, they will not allow me to return the bench which was delivered incorrectly as I didn't notify them within 48 hours. No acknowledgment of being 3 months late in delivering it - guess I should have canceled my vacation due to their inability to deliver in time. I will pay double elsewhere before ever shopping at the Brick again. Shawnessy Store manager Lisa was particularly unhelpful & rude.
The Brick in Powell River has an awesome team. They have gone over and above to help us get our fridge replaced from the manufacturers. Shawn, Evette and Donna are amazing. I have been purchasing from this store for many years and they never disappoint with their customer service and knowledge.

Hi - If I could give less than one star, I would! The Brick is just about the worst place in Montreal to buy something, although a lot of my problems were with the Kirkland branch, and Leon's is not far behind because they own The Brick. The delivery date is never kept, and when they tell you 3 to 4 weeks, they really mean 3 to 4 months, and probably longer, if you get it at all! When they finally deliver what you bought 8 or 9 weeks earlier, you then have to put up with rude and ignorant Russian delivery men! I have had it with the Brick, and will never ever buy there again! Next time, I will be definately trying Brault & Martineau. Thanks

Yes folks we are in August now. My Fridge was repaired( lol) in June! Water is still pissing all over the floor. The Lights don't work. The Wheel is broken... and now drum roll please. The freezer at the bottom took it upon itself to defrost all my food and I came home to a goal stench and mess. Still no repair gut. The Brivk passes the buck to their warranty people State King, who have done nothing. So when you buy a top of quality product at the brick be expected to be treated like a king when you walk through the doors and a pee on when you need help. I am ready to deliver it to their door.

Fridge. Whirlpool. So far broken wheel, light doesn't work, freezer doesn't work, water flowing from the bottom is rotting my floor. Repair Man did not repair it, did not show up the second time. We are in August. Thus has been going on since mid June.
We recently purchased all kitchen appliances & a laundry set from The Brick in Peterborough.
Paul / Dave provided excellent service & as a result, we ended up purchasing a bed, tv & couch.
We will be continuing to shop there
I purchased a RCA 3203 TV from the brick 1.5 years ago. I was having technical difficulties hooking it up to a new digital set top box recently, and required information from a technician since the TV was not responding as it should. When I phoned the store where I had purchased it (South Winnipeg on Kenaston), the sales person was absolutely useless. All she could say was that since I had not purchased an extended warranty, their store would have no part in helping me. "We only sell the product, we do not make it" were her words. They do not have a technical team, and cannot offer any support. She brushed me off as quickly as could be. What an insult. I will NEVER buy a product from this company again, at any store!

Worst experience with a furniture company ever. Though our sales rep was nice, the couch was to be ready for May 2022, then pushed to June then to July and then to June 2023. Found out it was being made in China and not North America not impressed. They oversell but do not deliver nor do they communicate date changes. We found out through different means and not from the Brick about the delays. We are getting our money back but even that takes 3 to 5 days. Terrible business. Never again

I finally after 64 years decided to buy a brand new couch after years of buying used. I should of known better, I bought myself a new couch after Christmas, what seemed like a great deal turned into a pain in the butt. The couch arrived with multiple flaws, after a month or more of back and forth emails, a decision was made to address a couple of the problems. Unfortunately the repair was done and it still looks crappy, they say you get what you pay for, I will never again deal with the Brick.
Our furniture was purchased end of august and still not delivered. We have to contact the brick regularly

This is the second time I have had a bad experience with the brick in a year. The first time the brick made it right so we went back. Disappointed again!.
As long as you like the item you bought, all is fine, but watch out when you have a problem. I have been a long time Brick customer and will never buy there again. I bought a bed and a mattress set and had problems with both. They started spouting fine print and they made no effort to solve either problem. Now, I'm stuck with a mattress I cannot sleep on. What do you do when you spend $2,000 dollars and have to throw it away? They advertise satisfaction guaranteed, but it is dissatisfaction guaranteed. If you buy enough stuff, eventually you'll run into a problem and then their attitude is "too bad, sucks to be you! Gotcha!"
