We had a very good experience with The Brick on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us gave us an outstanding service. She is very professional, polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable in making our choice of the furniture. The furniture was delivered in the promised date and another piece arrived earlier than promised. The delivery guys, I did not get their names, were very efficient, polite and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up the area they worked in. We would shop at the Brick again. We are happy customers.
I purchased under the specific terms of your "Don't Pay for 48 Months" promotional offer from the Barrie, On location. The negotiation and agreement I entered into was clear: I would not be required to make any payments for 48 months, and no interest or negative impact on my credit would occur during this period, provided I adhered to the terms. Unfortunately, despite following the agreed terms, I have recently discovered that The Brick has faulted on this agreement. Payments have been recorded against my account, and this has resulted in damage to my credit score. I did not expect this breach of contract and find this situation unacceptable. I have contact the branch manager, sales rep(Long) and no resolution, buyer beware of these so called "dont pay a cent"

If you buy an appliance fom THE BRICK, your extended warranty will likely be with TRANS GLOBAL, one of hte worse companies in Canada. This means that you will have the time to grow old before your appliance is repaired. They are very difficult to reach, do not return calls, hang up on you and perpetually postpone the repair. Look them up and you will see. The technicians are not at fault for this. Most of them are friendly and professional. But because of their association with TRANS GLOBAL, THE BRICK is to be avoided.

If you must buy from "The Brick", avoid their extended warranty program. Personally, I think that they should be held accountable for the misery that they put their customers through as a result of their association with TRANSGLOBAL.. And the best way to send the message is not to buy appliances from them at alll.

We bought a Sofa and Chair May 21,2021 with the saleman promising the world. We opted for the 90 day interest free option and we had to apply for their Desjardins Credit card in order to have that applied. We have now payed off the full amount as we only did this out of convenience. WE STILL DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT... and we have been told it won't be in until September 2021. We have now asked for a full refund and are getting the run around - Apply the refund to the credit card, cancel the credit card and then hurry up and wait for your refund.
Best advice buy somewhere else and save the headaches. We were promised initially to have it in or around the 15th of June then July then August and now September. Very disappointed with The Brick and will not buy anything from them ever again...

Purchased a sofa from the Brick and shortly after a year, the sofa cushion started to rip. No problem as I purchased an extended warranty, or at least that's what I thought. Contacted the Brick, they sent someone over 2 months later to assess it and yes, they said the sofa cushion needs replacement - waited an additional 3 months before I called them to find status on the replacement - they said the manufacturer no longer makes the product and they cannot do anything about it (including refunding the extended warranty or replacing the sofa) - NEVER will I shop the Brick again - Its another $#*!ty Canadian firm
They sold us a tv furniture that is exploded everything is pure garbage, when i ask for service NO ONE GIVES A CALLBACK THEY CALLED 4 TIMES SAYING MY NEW FURNITURE WAS ON IT'S WAY BUT I'M STILL WAITING AND THE BEST... We made our purchase specifically because when we bought our couches 5 years ago, we were told that if we bought an extended guarantee but never made a claim, we could use the value towards a purchase in store. So, we made a purchase to take advantage of the situation.
We were told it would be delivered on a specific by the salesperson and the person who processed the bill. It was not delivered, and we didn't receive any call or email update.
We called and were told that the credit for the warranty was extremely complicated and would take more time for head office to process. Then, we were promised delivery the next week. Exactly the same result, except this time your phones were down most of the day and we couldn't even contact you.
We have remained loyal customers, have taken time off work to receive our delivery, and we don't even get the basic courtesy of any updates, confirmation, or a specific date. We try to reach out through all social media but get the same canned answer, "we're contacting everyone to fix the situation" with zero accountability or facts on resolution. We are extremely frustrated and feel like we have been taken advantage of, and have no confidence in the Brick. Never buying from there again.

The worst costumer service I've had in Vancouver. I've furnished 2 apartments and a house in last 4 years and used different stores but today was too much. 3 times before I was so disappointed but did not bother to waste more of my time on them. They delivered a wrong firmness mattress, the one I never bought (I went for medium they delivered extra firm) my hips are hurting in the morning. Went to exchange it and sales person Ramanjeet is looking me in the eyes claiming that I ordered firm mattress. I ended up paying $500 more for the soft mattress (for she charged me $700 more for the same firmness I've originally bought and I had to buy one with the less $ difference). Of course NO OPTION to return it, even though they said mattress came with 10 years warranty. Like my body hurting was not good enough reason for it. Did not bother to show or say that they are sorry that anything happened as a result of their mishandling but clearly looking at me as a highly annoying customer who doesn't know what she wants for $8,000 spent there! I have 0 star rating for warranties bought there earlier too but have 0 nerves to think about it past this review.

We purchased a washer and dryer from the Brick.
It took many months to receive it due to supply shortages. This we understood.
However, once it arrived (5 months) later, the installation turned out to be the real problem.
The brick subcontracts this work to 3rd party vendors.
What shows up are 2 young individuals who are essentially glorified driver/movers and definitely not skilled installers.
Long story short, a few days after installation we started to notice a sound from our floors. Upon further inspection we found water seeping up between the floor boards.
They 'installers' had not connected the hoses properly and a small leak had been steadily leaking from the hoses for days and spreading under our flooring unbeknownst to us.
40% of our flooring is damaged and now we risk mold and mildew growth if we don't tear it up.
Our entire floor has to be replaced.
We tried to resolve this with the brick in a calm manner. But they have absolved themselves of any responsibility. We gave them a few options for resolutions that were acceptable to us and they refused them all.
Replacing the floor will cost more than the washer + dryer.
The brick does not stand behind their services.
Stay away.
Do NOT buy from the brick.
You will regret it.
Go to LOWE'S. Much better service.
Don't bother…. Purchasing at the brick is the dumbest decision you can make. They are great at saying "I'm sorry" because they need to do it so much and it means absolutely nothing. I had 3 different people apologizing to my and never resolved any issues. In fact, despite my continued insistence that I would not be available for delivery on their schedule…guess what… they phoned and said this is the only time that they can deliver. Once again I have to make arrangements to receive my goods even though I scheduled for earlier this week. They didn't show or contact us that they wouldn't be here and despite a series of call, emails and chat…."screw you customer, we will deliver when we say so suck it up!" Really is what we get. Customer service in general is in place to address and resolve issues…the brick, an opportunity to create additional issues. You are the worst brick organization and there is no way that you will ever see me, family or friends darken your doorstep. Not one manager had bothered to even contact me despite me insisting on speaking to one. You Suck Huge! I would have given a zero but there is not an opportunity to do so.

I got a bad from bricks Brantford, bed was bed from the first day, legs do not match, customer service was zero, you call and they tell you they do not know when they would get delivery of the new legs. The only time they were friendly was when I was about to buy the bed, afterwards they became rude to me. Telling me their manager is not in town and it would take weeks to get a new leg for the bed. PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THEIR PRODUCTS.

We bought a couch from The Brick 3 years ago and were talked into paying for an extended warranty of 3 years for $239. The sales lady told us that if we don't make use of the warranty after 3 years we will give you your money back. A couple of weeks ago I talked to an agent on the internet and found out that we would not get our money back; only a credit towards a purchase of something else. We were not happy with this lie of course, but we tried to make the best of it. So today we went back to the store to see if we could find something that we could use for around $239. We found 5 items but only the set of 4 seat cushions were in stock. The floor lamp would have to be ordered. After much delay they said that they had to check that the credit we had was still good and not claimed by someone else but that would take 5 days to confirm. After more delays came the shocker "Unfortunately our policy says that you have to spend at least $400 to get your $239 credit". We were so angry that we left the store after giving them a few choice words of advice. Needless to say we will never deal with the brick again. The brick is what you end up getting whacked over the head with in the end.

WE'VE BEEN SHOPPING AT THE BRICK FOR YEARS. RECENTLY BOUGHT SAMSUNG WASHER, DRYER, FRIDGE, STOVE AND MICROWAVE. AT THAT TIME ALL NEEDED FOR ID WAS A MEDICARE CARD. NOW DRIVER'S LICENCE IS NEEDED AS WELL. WE WERE TURNED DOWN FOR LACK OF THIS. THE SALESMAN COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL AND WE WERE THERE FOR 3 HOURS. IT TOOK 67 MINUTES TO BUY ALL OF THESE AT BRAULT& MARTINEAU AND ONLY WITH ONE ID!
I have purchase a Sealy Mattress from the Brick on cyrville rd on early sept 2019
On feb 2021 we notice the mattress thread on top all getting loose and side seems all falling off you can see the sponges we fallow up with warranty with pictures because it's under warranty for 10 years. Up until now we are in august 2021 sealy wont replace the mattress the brick washed there hands out when I try to call the store no one would answer the phone at the end the day Sealy agree to fix it in our home they set us up with a very independent technician he only service morning hour meaning If you have a bussiness you need to shot your door for his convenience I waited seven month nothing was it done wasted of time cause us a big headaches I made myself a promise never step a foot at the brick poor management
The delivery was on time and went very smooth. Matt and Charlie were personable and did a great job delivering and setting up beds for us. Great experience!

Worst experience ever. My Fridge broke down however, I had an extended warranty. After 2 months of back and forth with King and State (warranty company), I finally received a full credit (not typical for them to give) for my fridge.
The manager at the Brick- Cyrville location (Ottawa East) told me she'd contact me on Sunday with an ETA on my fridge, but never got back to me. I called several times to avoid having to go there in person however, they never answer their phones.
The Manager became disgruntled when I didn't want to accept a lower model fridge that was in stock and refused to even give me the floor model of my original fridge. After the back and forth disagreements, she basically told me that she is considering this matter resolved, that she will no longer be contacting me and cowardly put the task of any further communication about the ETA on my fridge on to one of her reps. She should give him her salary because I'm sure his salary doesn't reflect having to be the middle man between her and I and having to de-escalate this issue. My kids and I have not had a functioning fridge for about 2 months now and have no idea when we will be getting one.

Do not purchase warranty from the Brick. Save yourself the hassle and purchase the warranty from the manufacturer. Never trust the manager's word...they only care about the price point not your inconveniences or grievances.

Bought a tv and other things. Delivered Dec 31 2022.
Delivery person(s) unpacked tv and plugged in as per protocol. Leaning a 70" tv on the wall and never installed the feet. They leave. Packaging everywhere from other purchases plus the tv packaging we walk infront of tv to retrieve feet and install on tv they left leaning on a wall and tv falls over 15-20 after they leave. Called the brick immediately and they were here in hour or so to pick up tv. They didn't warranty it that day. I asked they pick up the remainder of purchase and 30 days later after numerous calls, stress ect they write to tell me they will not warranty the tv and finally picked up my couch and stove I asked to return 30 days prior! Referring to my purchase of a car that I drove off the lot and crashed! I had not even touched my tv at the time it fell! I touched my tv when I was picking it up off the floor where it fell from the wall they leaned it against!
Again they also insisted I go through my home insurance!

Dont trust the brick. I purchased a 55inch rca smart tv on sale july 1st this year and it broke 3 months to the day. Turns out it was on sale because the tv was discontinued. So when my tv broke they will not refund my money! Will not give me it store credit! I cannot purchase another tv on line! They stole my money! After dealing with client care sending all these pictures of the tv. Was told on phone to bring the tv back, when i went there to return it had to fight with three guys in the back saying they are not taking the tv after client care told me to bring it there! I was standing in the tv section looking at tvs a lady came over after a few minutes shoved her last bite of food in her smooth licked her fingers wiped them on her sweater said may i help you and looked at me like i stole her lunch. I tried explaining that client care sent them an email stating why i was there the manger did not and does not care i lost time from work! 400 dollars! And had no tv for 2 weeks! They stole my money and sold me something that was discontinued on purchased stoled my money!
I recently went to the brick in Halifax to purchase a new refrigerator. I was greeted warmly by a nice sales lady who listen to my needs. I decided to take a fridge from the clearance section as I did not need to wait for delivery. A few days later the delivery guys showed up took away my old fridge and placed my new one with no hassle. Until a few minutes later they called and said they refused to take my old refrigerator as there was a leak in the bottom. I was at a loss as this was my first appliance purchase and had no idea what to do with an old refrigerator. I asked them to place it by the dumpsters in my condo building which was just 100 feet away. Instead they left it on the sidewalk right in front of the main entrance to my building. They left me alone in front of the building with all my neighbors watching. The store was called and I was told that I'd have to deal with it myself. They were incredibly insensitive and created a hugely stressful experience. I was humiliated and received no reassurance from the store or the delivery folks.

I've purchase a Virtual Pinball Cabinet from The Brick but Dead on Arrival. I tired to troubleshoot myself and check loose cables, hard reset and factory reset but nothing worked. It booted up after I assembled it and loaded into the game menu screen but after 60 seconds the screen gone blank but the playfield TV was on just grayed out. So I contacted The Brick and an agent told me they do not cover exchange for "gaming items" after 6 hours of receiving said purchase. Not even given a 14/30 days period for exchange or at least 7 days protection. I was told to contact the manufacturer via email. Also I could not return an open product. The retailer hold no accountability after you received broken appliances or electronics and tells you to contact the manufacturer instead via email and there's no contact by phone. The agent also told me to read the manual to contact for further assistance but the manual said the retailer are reasonable for standard warranty. She didn't even read the manual at all.
This situation is absolutely unacceptable that there is no exchange before a 7 days period none whatsoever.
