We had a very good experience with The Brick on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us gave us an outstanding service. She is very professional, polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable in making our choice of the furniture. The furniture was delivered in the promised date and another piece arrived earlier than promised. The delivery guys, I did not get their names, were very efficient, polite and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up the area they worked in. We would shop at the Brick again. We are happy customers.

I purchased under the specific terms of your "Don't Pay for 48 Months" promotional offer from the Barrie, On location. The negotiation and agreement I entered into was clear: I would not be required to make any payments for 48 months, and no interest or negative impact on my credit would occur during this period, provided I adhered to the terms. Unfortunately, despite following the agreed terms, I have recently discovered that The Brick has faulted on this agreement. Payments have been recorded against my account, and this has resulted in damage to my credit score. I did not expect this breach of contract and find this situation unacceptable. I have contact the branch manager, sales rep(Long) and no resolution, buyer beware of these so called "dont pay a cent"

I ordered a desk in July 2020 and got it damaged still waiting on desk. I asked for my money back but want give it back. I guest once they got your money they don't care.

We recently purchased 4 appliances from the Brick and spent a good amount of money. We were supposed to have our dishwasher delivered first and they called the night before and gave us our delivery window from 1-4. The dishwasher was unhooked and ready for pick-up in the middle of the kitchen. The delivery drivers came to the house at 11:40 am a whole hour and 20 minutes early with no call to let us know, without receiving a phone call from them about coming early, where we could have made arrangements for someone to be there. Unfortunately, we were not there. I called the delivery service and spoke with two managers from the office and both informed me that the drivers were not coming back to deliver the item as it was out of their way. The service I received from both employees was very rude and unaccommodating. At one point I could hear the inappropriate laughter in the background. I told them we are planning on canceling the entire order due to the lack of customer service and how inconvenient this has been and one employee said "that's fine" I wish there was a way to make these employees in customer service a little more accountable for how they treat a customer. I understand things have glitches from time to time but, we as customers were not given the opportunity to make arrangements to receive our item.

I can not believe this! During the Black Friday sales, we bought a TV from their website showing the delivery date as Dec 3rd, and still contacting them weekly and hearing the item is not available in the warehouse! The worst is no matter which date we picked for delivery, as soon as I received the confirmation email, something was off! They mentioned in the email that we'll deliver the item as soon as it was available! WHAT?! If this is not a SCAM, what is it? You asked me to pick a date and then totally ignore it on your email?! I am going to put some research into how to stop this action legally! We should protect our society from this kind of behaviour since this could become a norm for us in many other aspects of life, so please let me know what the next step is if you had a similar experience. Not only this TV supposed to fill out our free time in the holiday, but now they contact us that we don't have the item until Dec 24th or early January. It's too late, THE BRICK, and I hope everyone understands what you are doing and not support your business in future!

The Brick is the absolute worst! Horrible Customer Service and Horrible, broken and crap delivery system. If you gather the data of your customers; regular house, townhouse, condo etc. If you live in a condo you have to book the service elevator for furniture delivery bed etc. How you can you confirm a delivery date but not a delivery time only until the day before the delivery to get a time. Most condos, the elevators would have been booked a week advanced so if I call a week advance to schedule delivery at The Brick it makes sense to get a time of delivery then as well so as to book the service elevator.

That whole system is flawed as per getting the delivery time the day before because someone else would have reserved the elevator so I won't be able to get my item delivered. Additionally, the worst customer service all around. Your employees sound like they are not getting paid or eating for the whole day, all grumpy with no empathy and interest in relating to a customer. You guys need to rework your delivery system and work on improving the customer service. Based on my experience, I advise people to refrain from using The Brick as I will no longer use them. I only realized your ratings are horrible on average over several review boards after my recent purchases. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! No way to select 0 stars on this review because 1 star is a blessing! 0/5 stars for me even though it shows 1 star on this review.

Bought a brand new fridge lasted 4 month broke in the biggining of December it is now Aprile still waiting for repair man to comeback to fix fridge he won't return my call every time I call the brick they say they will get him to call me but he never does one more month and my warrenty expires and then they will no longer send repair man to fix it so I'm pretty sure there just running out the clock so the brick scamed me for a thousand dollars on a fridge that only last 4 month then lied to me and never fixed it will never shop there again

I purchased a recliner on January 24th 2022, and paid for it in full. It did not arrive until the end of March. Unfortunately when the chair was delivered I was told I had 4 days to let them know if there were any problems. I called 3 days later because the back " cushion " slanted down on the right quite noticeably. There was also a dent on the right arm rest. After the technician came someone at the store called and told me that there was nothing they would do because the chair met the manufacturer's standards! I asked for the manager and another lady came on the line. I told her that I had specifically asked if the chair was Canadian made and had been told it was! The response to that was that the sales person was new and did not know where to look. I asked how that was my problem and not theirs and was told to prove I had asked the question! As it turned out there were no tags on the chair at all and no manual that they said came with it. The technician who came to the house had to open the chair and lie on his back to see that the chair was actually made in China. I'm 83 years old and can no longer go to that extreme to check the only tag there was! The whole conversation was rude and very upsetting and just kept going around in circles, so I asked for a refund. Again the person refused saying they did not give refunds just because I didn't like my purchase which I felt was defective but met their manufacturers standards! And the Manager had made his decision. So who had I been talking to? In my opinion a chair that cost $2,299.97 should be acceptable to the customer!

We had purchased a recliner chair and had some problems with it and tried to have it repaired by the brick a couple of times but it could not be fixed the right way, so I went to the store on st.James where we had purchased the chair from and spoke to Rob the manager there and he listened to what I had to say and then told me to go and look at other chairs they had and that he would exchange it for me with no problems or costing me more money out of pocket. He was very professional about it and so very understanding. He was about the customer and there concerns not anything else. Then Tina a sales person came along and helped me look for another chair which was great. Tina did all the paperwork for the chair and exchange, she is the kind of sales person you want to deal with because she was concerned as well and was so helpful about everything. She is also very pleasant to talk with and goes out of her way to make sure you are satisfied and happy. Rob also went above and beyond to make sure we were happy as well. So thank you Rob and Tina for everything you have done to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We will be back to shop again at the St.James Brick store and look forward to dealing with you again. We are really happy customers.

Tip for consumers:
The Brick on St.James in Winnipeg is the only Brick store we go to and the service there has always been the best.

I went online on boxing day to buy a Serta Perfect Sleeper for the advertised price of $679.95. Since it was before noon, it qualified for free shipping too. When I went to check out, the site froze up two times. I tried later on the 26th and got to the checkout page only to find a shipping fee of over $85.00. I went on the instant chat to explain this only to be told if I wanted free shipping then I would have to buy the mattress protection package. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS BUY A MATTRESS AT THE ADVERTISED PRICE BUT COULDN'T.

Possibly the worst retail experience I've ever had. I went into their store and was fooled by their sales agent thinking that their kindness was going to be an indication of my experience. Wrong. I feel cheated and conned. I bought five appliances there, spending over $5500 there. Three were either damaged, scratched or had parts missing and one never came. The only one that was delivered and seemed fine on arrival isn't working properly. They came by to get the three damaged products in early Dec 2020, after over a month from the delivery date. It has now been over three weeks since they took back their appliances and I have not heard from anyone even though they have three of the five applianced I bought and stated they would give me a refund. I haven't even received a refund for the product that never came. I have called and emailed the sales agent, the head of customer serivce and the customer service agent I was dealing with multiple times. I have heard nothing for weeks. Nobody has had the curtosy to contact me and say, "We're dealing with the matter and we will get back to you shortly." Nothing.

Stay away.

I placed an order back in June for a full set of appliances(so we could have them in advance, we had heard so many stories and terrible wait times). I have since received 2 follow up calls advising me that my order was completed and everything was in the distribution center in Halifax. In the beginning, we advised our sales associate Adam, we needed them by the end of September - early October. So, I received a call on Friday past, telling me my range was not ready yet and wouldn't be ready until end of October - and this was not guaranteed. I asked questions as to why, because they advised me in previous calls that it was in Halifax and it was secured on our order, and we would have it when we needed it. Adam suggested that another sales associate went into our order and changed the date of delivery that we needed our appliances for. He then went on to tell me that somebody from The Brick went into our order and took the stove that WE needed, and gave it to another customer as they may have needed it sooner then what we did. After going back and forth, I told him this was not okay and I was furious, as we have the appliances paid for in full and now we are moving into our new home without a range. (This is theft, this is not acceptable)
I then spoke to the manager Brian, who told me there was nothing he could do only suggest that we take a floor model, or to wait until our range arrived.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying anything off this company. I read the reviews before purchasing and I still put my faith into this company, as it is our first time purchasing and decided we would give them a chance.

I bought sofa set in 2018 with warranty. When you buy something they explain that buy our warranty it cover this this but a week ago we claim a issue they declined to solve the issue and said I can't use my warranty again and they are not gonna give the warranty money back too
But the manager at regent brick location was very very rude to us
We bought dinning table 2 weeks ago with warranty
So we said ok if you are not solving the issue then we will cancel or order paid cash worth $1785: he took one second to cancel out order he didn't even apologize to us for inconvenience
He was very rude to us in all the conversation
We decided to buy whole furniture for our house
We already chose to buy them on Black Friday
But we canceled all
And the manager didnt care he was like
Extremely poor in customer service
Of the team leader is like that what do you expect from other employees

I purchased a leather sofa and love seat and was delivered in December 2021. I had purchased the warranty and submitted a claim because the leather was peeling off. We had a technician looked at it and he said that the seat would be replaced. On numerous call I was told that the back seat of the leather seat was going to be replace. A few weeks later I submitted another warranty claim to say the couch was not confortable at all. They sent another technician to look at it. At that time we were told that the peeling was caused by a cat. We don't have a cat. The pealing leather is not due to normal wear and tear. It was only 6 months old when I submitted my first claim. I called the customer service and was told that the couch seat would not be replace nor the couch set be replaced not would we be reimbursed for the warranty which we paid for. So I paid for warranty that the Brick will not honor and they will not reimburse me for the cost of the warranty. What a joke. Will never buy anything from the Brick ever.

We were at a Leather shop yesterday to get the pillow repaired that the Brick will not do anything about it and we were told that the material is not real leather. Beware of what The Brick claim that it's leather. We were told that it is real leather at the time of the sale.

Ordered the refrigerator from the brick during the boxing day period, the expected delivery was the 3rd week or January to the end of January so bought the item from brick as their delivery date is a bit earlier than other vendors like Canada appliance, badboy etc.

By the end of January tried to contact the salesperson Chris at Whitby, ON location, the salesperson was not reachable and i requested the customer service team for Chris to call me but he never picks the phone call or returns my message.

Now the mid-Febrary, they sent me an email saying the items is delayed and again in early March. Our refrigerator was in bad condition so we ordered new refrigerator but now our refrigerator is broken and wasting a lot of food to its malfunction.
Got cheated by Brick and the worst salesperson who is only interested to make sales and puts customers in danger.

1. Brick return policy is a joke, they don't take items back, or refund once any item was delivered.

2. Brick's gold warranty is a scam, upon 5 year period if the customer did not show up in the time frame they mentioned the money is gone and if the customer goes to claim upon few days delay they lose their money.

3. Brick's promised delivery dates are a scam to win a customer order but once the money is paid they don't care about the delivery dates.

So kindly request everyone to look somewhere else and buy somewhere else, you will get peace of my mind by buying somewhere else and honest delivery dates but with brick's sales people cheat customers with false dates.

Dont buy items from Brick, no return once delivered and their warranty also a scam

Dryer stopped working 1 month after purchase. Repairman service is non existent. No calls returned. 2 months later still drying my clothes on clothesline. Don't buy anything from the Brick!

Please take note of my review and other reviews before you purchase anything there, especially furniture...

When you look at the display models, at first look you don't notice the defects until you have the furniture in your house, then its too late. I was told by a representative over email that I saw the display model and knew what I was about to buy... Look at the pictures I've shared, you don't want to be buying something new that have all those defects.

I purchased a Livy double bed + nightstand + something they call "bureau" here in Quebec. First the salesman said they are missing some parts and I would be getting all my stuff within one month's time. After one and a half month, nothing from them, I called and told them that I am waiting for my stuff, the lady told me she does not know anything from what the salesman had told me, and took a message to ask the sales man to call me back.

You guessed it right, he never called me back...

Few weeks later, I called back again, another lady told me I would be receiving my furniture by mid of November 2020. I orderd the furniture begining of September 2020 by the way.

End of November, I receive an email apologizing for delay, that soon I'd be receiving my stuff. In the first week of December they delivered my stuff. When I saw the quality of the furniture I was really sad and angry...

They don't want to refund or replace saying its normal for the furniture to be like that.

I know covid is rampant worldwide but you shouldn't give delivery dates to customers when you know you don't have the product in your warehouse and unsure of the certainty of when you will have it actually in stock and can deliver the product when you say you will! I've been waiting for my range for months now. It was purchased on Sept 4/20 and my delivery date has been changed several times and currently told Dec 23rd now! So nice job! Its Christmas and I won't be able to get my christmas dinner done for Christmas day and our traditional holiday dinner takes days to prepare and cook! No time for Christmas baking either! I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from the brick again!. If you receive bad customer service... Shame on them... if you but from them again?... Shame on me! Tried to give them a second chance all in fairness... never again. You should tell customers you can't give dates for delivery until they product is in stock... that way customers can make an EDUCATED decision... for those just upgrading as opposed to NEEDING a stove in your current global situation... prioritize you think!? Shame on you!

I bought my furniture at the south common location in Edmonton, AB. After using my sofa sets for 5months the leather start fading with some discoloration, I tried to contact the location to speak to someone but the customer representative hang up the phone on me while explaining the reason for my call. I tried reaching out online to The bricks through there online messaging again and I was able to chart with someone but it was a scam. The reason was that the guy said someone will definitely give me a call back within 2-3 days but 3weeks after no call or nothing from The bricks. I have 5years warranty on all my furniture at The bricks but I guess it really not worth having it anyways because they are a scammer. I don't understand why a good company will treat their customers like this? I will never recommend The bricks to anyone because this company is a scam and not responsible to there customers after the delivery of your furniture. I bought a new furniture to have peace of mind on the wear and tear aspect but 5months later the sofa that was supposed to be real leather start fading out. I really feel have been cheated, disrespected and not valued as a customer.

We brought some furnitures (sofa, dinning table, bed, dresser) from brick store of kennedy road, on september 3rd 2020 and was told they ganna make the delivery by end of september or within first week of october but now after waitting that long on 23rd of october they deliverd only the dinning table set and inform us that they r deliverying rest of the items in mid of november not olny that they are not conforming us any date of november cause it could be come on december. I dont know what to do... hate there service

I was to use the bricks for my new house because of builder's incentive. All I can say is do not use them no matter what your discount are. Also, don't use Canadian appliances either. Once the bricks take full amount they will be gone from any commitment. Wait time is to delievring and installation will never take place. You will have endless fight with them. Items will not deliver for many months. If you call or email for your agent may be you will get a response. They used covid excuse all the time. At the time of the payment they will never use covid. They will tell you if it's not in the stocks they will not even set up anything. Anyways I have eight houses newly build in my area. None of them receive appliances in their satisfaction. I have one neighbor who still has not receive their cooktops and using the BBQ in the garage as we speak. For me I am done with bricks. I am still fighting with them and the kitchen company to address the issue they both created and I am the one who suffering.

Tip for consumers:
If they can take advance and charge rest of the total upon delivery go for it

Entire kitchen and laundry appliances. Exhaust system builded for cyclone system now after the bricks informed they don't have it I am unable to find a one fit that space. Canceled three items got delivered from Costco. Great concierge service.

Hi
On January 8,2022 I bought a fridge and a dish washer from the brick after a long waiting time on January 14 they bring it I was not home they said to my wife that they need a man to help them carry it in so they take it back
Today they bring it again
One of them come out and said the dry way is not clean enough to bring it in my house
I have video of cleaning the snow in the last two days
Video of me my family and the neighbours helping east other to clean my dry way
I told them I can help them carry it in
They said no
Then I told them if they do not I will complain to the company
The driver and the helper attacked me in front of my family and neighbours they are wetness
I sent this video if no action is taken I will report it to the police
I did not yet because the sales person was very professional and helping guy
I am sure there's more professional people in the company to handle this

Purchased TV in May 2019, got 4years extended warranty for $199.99. Sales agent who assist me on the time I purchased tv and extended warranty told me that I can use the $199.99 in any The Brick after 4years if I haven't used the extended warranty. I went back to The Brick in May 2023 to purchased a tv using the $199.99 from my extended warranty and now they are telling me that I can only use the $199.99 on furnitures or mattresses, which was not mentioned to me when they offer me the extended warranty. And the Brick management are telling that I only have 3 months to use the $199.99 or else it will expired. They are insisting me to used it for furniture or mattress that I don't really need. And beside you have to purchase an item not lower $400 so the $199.99 can be applied to it. After I waited for 4years and the Brick used my money and they got an interest from it now they don't care about me anymore. Never ever get an extended warranty from the Brick it's a scam. They will only use your money for their own interest. I will never ever purchased item in any Brick store.
