We had a very good experience with The Brick on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us gave us an outstanding service. She is very professional, polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable in making our choice of the furniture. The furniture was delivered in the promised date and another piece arrived earlier than promised. The delivery guys, I did not get their names, were very efficient, polite and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up the area they worked in. We would shop at the Brick again. We are happy customers.
I purchased under the specific terms of your "Don't Pay for 48 Months" promotional offer from the Barrie, On location. The negotiation and agreement I entered into was clear: I would not be required to make any payments for 48 months, and no interest or negative impact on my credit would occur during this period, provided I adhered to the terms. Unfortunately, despite following the agreed terms, I have recently discovered that The Brick has faulted on this agreement. Payments have been recorded against my account, and this has resulted in damage to my credit score. I did not expect this breach of contract and find this situation unacceptable. I have contact the branch manager, sales rep(Long) and no resolution, buyer beware of these so called "dont pay a cent"

Terrible company! Purchased a new upright Galanz freezer and an extended warranty.Freezer quit working in the first year. The brick did not help me,explained that l had to call Galanz. It was not their problem because the appliance quit in the first year.Within 3 days Galanz issued a refund check for the freezer.l called the brick 3 times Requesting the money l paid for the extended warranty, l did not use.To which they replied,oh we have never experienced this.We will call you back with an answer. They never called me back.l called the third time and asked what is going on.Long story short her response was oh yes we got an answer today.(I called at 7pm they had the answer but didn't call me)call us at the end of the warranty 5yrs answer will credit it towards another purchase of 400 dollars or more.l said, you got to be kidding. You leave me no choice will have to call the consumer protection.l explained the freezer is not working and is on my back porch not working and Galanz has allready issued a refund cheque.Forva new freezer l have to take to the dump, but you guys want me to wait 5 years to refund my extended warranty which really isn't a refund.l have to make a purchase and the warranty carries over to another product.l told her l would be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. To which she replied that's fine.Wow, l said class act.No response l ended up hanging up.l will be fighting for mynmoney back.ln a way it's my fault. The brick screwed me on 2 previous sales.l swore l wouldvnever deal with the Brik again, but here lam getting screwed again!

Bought a sectional sofa this year from the Chatham, ON location, it was delivered by the guys from Bricks but never bothered to assemble it. It turned out it has a defect. We called the store right away on the same day and told us they will inform the technician to come and fix it. Few weeks after that call, no technician called. We called the store again few times during those weeks. Fast forward... a technician came finally after more than a month. This technician never called us at all to set up an appointment. He called 20 minutes before he got to our place. Fortunately, my son was home at that time since it's their break, but what if nobody was home? I was at work and so is my husband. I called the Bricks with regards to this and OMG here comes the lady with a very rude attitude and saying why do we have to call them, lol! They were the one who supposed to get in contact with the technician not us. Plus the technician never called us at all! The technician then check the defect, got it "fixed" without us inside the house and only a minor was present. Never got a call from the technician as to whether he managed to fix the sofa or not. We just found out from my son. We checked the sofa when we got home. The sofa isn't fixed. He managed to connect the metal to connect the sofa together but seems like he just forced it and the leg of the sofa is hanging away from the floor. You can fit your fingers between the sofa and the floor. Me and my husband always wonder why there are no customers in the store, only one or two. Now we know. Customer service isn't the greatest esp if you are being assisted by the same lady. She needs to change her attitude whoever that is. She is not fit to work in the customer service. If that was the same lady who showed us the available sofa one time when we went there, i am glad we didn't get it from her. She is just rude and needs some training in customer service. Also, no more BRICKS for us. We will stick to Leon's or Tepperman's next time!
Purchased a fridge for $4400 on Dec 8,2021 to be delivered on Dec 18, it was delivered on Jan 7,2022. The sales person on Richmond Hill location said the movers instead of removing the old fridge can move it to the basement (since I requested it)
On the day of delivery the movers said they are not allowed and can't do that. I called the Brick and after a long wait and few tries, the customer support person, Chiara was helpful at first and said the brick will cover the cost of the movers so that we can get a help to move the fridge to the basement. She said, they need a quote so that they can do the paper work and she provided me with 3 different moving company numbers. However, after many calls and emails, I was able to get only one quote in email to sent to her on Friday. The process was not confirmed on Friday, neither on Saturday. I emailed her again on Monday and called The Brick but no answer and no confirmation.
As always this company is the WORST company to deal with. From sales people, to Customer Service they all are equally horrible. We have purchased many things from the Brick, the quality of the product is fine but the people experience at this location/company is just something else. Currently I have 2 fridges in my small kitchen waiting for Chiara to get back to me.
I just don't understand how a big company like this, is not able to approve such a small fee to fix a inconvenient that literally caused by their own staff miscommunication.
PS: The movers damaged the front door of our fridge and we saw it the next day after we completely unwrapped the fridge. Good luck to us getting that door change.
I purchased an Angus leather recliner couch couple of years back. Two years in, the cushion is almost non-existent and it feels like sitting on the floor almost with the sagging, and even worse when recliners are up! The problem isn't just that the furniture itself is cheap quality, it is also that the Brick people sell warranties lying straight to the face. When asked about what the warranty covers, they give a pretty rosy picture saying it covers almost everything except that it does not. This is realized only when it is time for claims.
I did think that anything under 3 years would be definitely due to furniture issue, so I took the 3-year warranty instead of the 5 year one, but it did not matter because the cheap quality furniture is just one factor with other factor being warranty lies. I wish someone posted their experience with Brick or with their warranty which would have made me not purchase their product.
Brick by far has the worst furniture quality and it makes it worse with the value they give to their customers. Also, when you file a claim, they would send a person from Belaty to verify who would just take some notes without even clearly observing the issue and few days later, they just decline. Looks like partner-in-crime!
Bottom line, lesson learned the hard way. It is the last thing I buy from Brick. I hope my experience will be useful for others looking to buy furniture from this store. Don't fall for low prices! The quality is much cheaper than the price and would not last even couple of years. The same product is 1000$ more now on their catalog.
If you want to avoid having an experience similar to mine, AVOID BUYING FROM THIS STORE!
We purchased a TV, Washer and Dryer and paid $700 dollars for warranty insurance. We were promised that we would get that money back if no warranty claim made. After the warrantry period is over we went to the local store in Duncan BC. We visited the store atleast 3 times and told first time that we have to wait another year to get that money. When we went to the store again to get the money/credit w e were told that the warrnty expired and we won't get any money back. The agetnts at the Duncan store were very rude and literally insulted me and my wife. The agents there behaved unprofessionally and unethically. The agent said to us that she does not want to talk to us
I contaced the main head office in phone and explained my concerns. The experience was almost the same. It is my money with Brick that they are not ready to return. I believe it is some way they want to get customers money, but they dont want to give you back. I never recommend their warrant insurance. And I never recommend the store in Duncan. I am sure the Brick would never return it back to you.
Alex and Tara were amazing treated me great and helped me get everything I want and got it all delivered in good time. Thanks guys

I ordered two couches from the brick a while back. I waited a while for the order to come in as it was during COVID. I got a call maybe 6 weeks after ordering that my items had arrived and was ready to be delivered. I lived in a low rise apartment. I told driver on day of that I don't need to make appointment for elevator as long as he moved through side door. Upon arrival driver refused to use elevators because he said they werent padded. I asked him to leave the couches on main floor at which point he got on phone with his supervisor. He told me his supervisor told him not to deliver because elevator wasn't padded and handed me the phone. I told her that he couid leave at front because I had paid upfront and those were now my couches. She Said if got damage wouid be their responsibility. I Said I'm here and you are given them to me. She Said can't give them. I got upset because I had already thrown out my old couches and had nothing to sit on. Driver drive off with my couches. I went to to the brick to demand my money back and was refunded. Why couidnt they left items on main floor if elevator walls weren't covered. To this day I'm still traumatized.
Tip for consumers:
That if elecators weren't padded they wouidnt use and they wouldn't leave items with me on main floor upon request

The only thing they care about is taking your money and do not care about your satisfaction as a customer.
We barely had gotten to mattress which was what we were looking for and approached by a salesman. We let him know so far we're only looking. He wanted our name! Looking back now, I would have said NO! He stuck to us like glue, which is too annoying! Within a couple minutes of looking, he asked if we'd made a decision. That's when we should have left the store. Eventually we decided what we wanted, so now it's time to sit at his desk. We wanted to apply for credit and after checking he said we already had a new credit approval. That was new to us. Last time we were there we were turned away from credit because we didn't have a cell phone. He said WE must have misplaced the card number! The nerve of him! I told him we would know if we were granted credit or not but he kept insisting that WE must not have noticed in our trash! REALLY. He tallied what we owed with out letting us know about $90.00 delivery charge. We decided at that point we no longer wanted credit or even to buy at the Brick, and he promptly said he would exclude the delivery charge, which we felt he should have mentioned prior to simply giving us a total. At that point we decided we did NOT want their credit, just pay on another card and get out of there. We let him know we don't have to buy at the Brick. His only salvation was the reversal of the delivery charge. Each time we go there, we're more annoyed than the previous time. This will definitely be our last time! We shouldn't have to have a salesperson because he took our name and followed us around the store. We want to choose the salesperson ourselves especially when they're so aggressive. This just happened yesterday July 9th. 2022 at South Common. Never again!
Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy at the Brick, save yourself the frustration.
