“Love Horizon Outlet”

April P.
6/13/22

They gave me $750 worth of credit. I buy things and they come quick. I read all the fine print before jumping in. I knew what to expect. It's better than wish because you don't get your items you purchase. The items are cheap quality from wish. I say keep up the good work HORIZON OUTLET.

“Received card, never applied”

Christina P.
9/13/24

I received an email confirmation of my recent application and acceptance of my Merit Platinum Card brought to you exclusively by Horizon Card Services. The problem is I NEVER APPLIED. I was given a credit line, card number, and member ID. I called Merit and let them I never applied, my credit report is frozen, so how could they issue this card. Charity told me, "Oh, we do not check credit reports". I said, " So, someone can call say they are me and get this card". Crickets. Charity said, she will cancel it.

While shopping at Green Hills Mall a friend and I and other customers saw a woman who we were told was an Assistant Manager of the mall being extremely rude to a worker. This is a very night upscale mall and it is very hard to understand how anybody in such a high position could be so rude to an employee in front of customers. He was selling those Hover Boards. He didn't know her name but she was Blond and just very unfriendly. Hard to go back in there.

It took me 21 min. To get this store card cancelled. I was upset that it was not a regular credit card but my mistake for not reading the "fine" print. LOL. They say they will refund all my money but kept offering lower intrest rate and increasing my limit amount. Their way of trying to hold on to their customers at all costs. Future reference it be sure to read all the fine print and look it up on the web first before jumping in.

I was just looking at this for a friend who made the huge mistake of getting this "credit" with this online store. NEVER should you have to pay any fee to obtain any credit card-- and this is a credit card, but only for use in their overpriced nothing store. NEVER should you have to pay a monthly fee for any credit card. This is bait for people with poor credit at the holiday season, and it's pure garbage

I applied for this card and was accepted, then I changed my mind. I called twice and each time the "supervisor" talked me into giving it a try. I was well aware that it wasn't a mastercard or visa. I received my card and decided to buy a few things, which is difficult because they have very little to purchase and I could shop at Goodwill and get better merchandise. I went to check out and it wanted my mastercard or visa number to charge the $50 shipping fee. If I had a credit card why in the f**k would I need this piece of crap. Then I started digging, everything they tell you is bull$#*!. This card does nothing to restore your credit. I called to cancel and demanded my $29.95 back, I had to go through 3 people trying to change my mind before I had to get nasty. Even after they gave me a confirmation number for cancelling and assuring me I would get my money back they tried to get me to apply for a car or payday loan. Stay away from this farce of a company.

Money has already been credited back to my account. Thank you! My advise is if you have a problem always let them know you are recording conversation and will submit to proper authority and stick to your decision, Don't let them change your mind. Only you know what is right for you.

Those of you who say the company did not tell you it wasn't a credit card, if you had read the terms and agreements it clearly stated that is not a credit card. That you have to shop from their online store, so I don't no what you are mad about. The customers who complain about the quality and time it takes to receive the products have a right too, I'm just glad I read before I gave them my social security number and other information.

Ordered this program on 10/05 2020, did not receive the card until Saturday 10/10/2020, and when I tried to cancel and get a refund, they charged me. Paid 29.95 and when I cancelled, received only 17.95. For a service that was not available until I received the card. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

I will say when I went to cancel, they did it fast and it only took a few days for a response and canceling the card.

I thought I was getting a credit card, but the fine print reads it's not. So when I found this out I was upset and I found an actual credit card I can get to rebuild my credit and so I cancelled Horizon and went with the actual credit card by first premier. They have been great!

My other issue about Horizon is there is nothing on there website that's worth buying. It's just stuff you can get at Walmart Target or even the Dollar Store. So they need to work on there merchandise a little more.

Why don't you have anything that people really want or need. You only list junk that nobody can use. You want a fee for a service? You have to provide a service first! This may help with poor credit, but you would have to use it,... a lot, to be of any use

This is a joke! If you get an email saying that you are approved for a $500 credit card, DO NOT take it... first of all it costs to get the card and they make it seem like you can use the credit card anywhere and you cannot. It is only accepted on their stupid website thehorizonoutlet.com. The website is sold out of almost everything (well anything worth actually buying) you pay a monthly fee and when you try to cancel they say "congrats! We are upping your credit limit to $1000 is there anything else we can help you with?" No you idiot i want to cancel and get my money back! Then they aren't authorized to do that but will transfer you to a supervisor. Well you sit on hold for 45 minutes and then finally it is all over! Geez waste of time and money!

I received this card in the mail after applying for it and thought I'd go check out the website. They didn't have much selection and the little they do have is mostly ugly stuff I wouldn't even spend a penny on. I called to cancel my account and the supervisor I spoke with was an idiotic moron. After I told him I'd like to cancel my account, he kept trying to convince me to keep my account. He offered me another $500 towards my line of credit, a $60 voucher, and telling me how it can improve my credit score. I had to tell him about 10 times that I want to cancel my account and then I had to raise my voice and get irritated for him to finally do it. To sum it all up, they really suck.

So I got roped in through some survey site that claims to offer a $1000 gift card to a retail chain store. After filling out all the required information and minutia while selling my soul to some internet demon for absolutely no reason beyond just seeing this damn thing to the end, I find that the $1 that I initially got charged, was to be a monthly charge of $29.95? Is now on my statement for $49.95 AND it's not even an actual Visa Master Card! So... there's that... read the fine print and uncheck all prechecked boxes. People, there are some grimy business practices out here!

I was transferred twice both times I my information had to be verified and they tried to upsell me on the company along with giving more credit with their online store saying that the monthly fee would be reduced. I kept my patience but after being hungup on by a supposed supervisor and having to call back and verify my information yet again then be transferred again I lost it a little. But I was told that I would be cancelled and refunfed. We shall see.

Was sent a 10.1 inch tablet and a jacket for my 10year old niece. The box the tablet comes in is empty, no tablet, no charger or, paperwork for the tablet. They ask how much does the label say the box weighed that all products are shipped in. 65lbs for a jacket, and a tablet? All they can tell us is they need to investigate. Yeah investigate your employees for theft. The box came taped up with their packing tap that has their company logo on it. Send my tablet or return my money... SCAMMERS!

Tip for consumers:
Stay away.

Products used:
None as the box was empty

I applied and I was trying to order and it wouldn't go through. They took my money again. I talked to Taylor where they said I was being refunded the 29.95. They took out another 24.95 and I can't get that back. I have it in writing that I would be refunded the 29.95 but not my 24.95. Theives Don't fall for this SCAM Im on a fixed income and this is my kids Social security money from their father recently passing. This company doesn't care who they take from. I have to deal with this while im still grieving too.

I was unaware that 2 charges were coming out of my account 1 for benefits for 19.99 and another for the store for 25.00 a month I never needed the benefits so they canceled the 19.99 and only charged me 25.00 a month for the store 100% goes towards paying off the balance of the store and no fees at all now. I have seen that it has helped my score with trans Union but now after I made the last 2 payments a error occurred and said I made a late payment when I never did and now my credit score dropped 75 points this is ridiculous and needs to be corrected. I'm paying off my balance and canceling this card I am very unhappy with the site and the level of professionalism.

Looking into card options for my staff who are of poor credit, this 'baby' pops up quite frequently.

Viewing the terms that the card can only be used at one online shop, I was a bit disheartened, but this is not a wholly new idea. Several other companies have had credit cards which only work with them. Many of which use fair credit reporting measures, so you can build credit that way. A good example is the old Home Depot card (I'm uncertain if that has become more open use like Sears).

So, I go to their website to see what they have to offer.

You only see their home page, cannot view ANY product at all without inputting your card info. Cannot view the site map, T&C, policies, or even the FAQ without logging in.

This is an obvious trap, and when you try to contact them, there is no valid contact info available besides their web input dialogue, to which they seem to avoid giving any real response to questions regarding their 'company'.

This has all the signs of a Nigerian prince needing a small donation to ensure his ascension.

Avoid at all costs, even if they are greater than the 89.95 cost to get this card. It'll save you more in the long run.

Tip for consumers:
They will charge you to get their consumer card. This is not abnormal. However, you will be unable to see if their product is worth getting the card for until after you have acquired said card. Beware any company that refuses to tell you what their product is before you have paid in part for it.

Was under the impression it was a credit card. You can find better items at a thrift store, than what you can find at their "outlet".
I called to cancel my acct. They transferred me 4 times! And 3 out of the 4 women i spoke to, tried to actually get me to dish out more $$ for a larger credit line! Wtf?! Had to literally get loud and threaten them with legal action, just for them to refund my processing fee, which they told me would take up to 2 wks for it to be refunded back into my bank acct. Didn't take them 2 wks to take it out my acct. Why does it take that long to give me back my $$!?

I contacted this company via email. The merchandise was going back. The conversation escalated, concluding with me telling them I was reporting them to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I had a payment due 2 days later. I checked my email the next day AND (get this) THEY HAD CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT! Without me even asking. I think these scammers got scared. DO NOT SEND them a dime.
