I bought a ticket for disney, and since last time I've been to Disney was before pandemic, I was not aware of their policy changes and reservation requirements. So, I went to tickets at work website to use it (as I did before), I bought the tickets, then I received an email that tickets are not refundable, then while reading more on the ticket next day, I read in the description about reservations. I looked at Disney website and couldn't find an availability for the days I can (don't live in CA). I called TicketsAtWork and explained what happened, they told me they will open a ticket and sent me an email about it. 5 days later with no update (they promised to update me in 72hrs), I called again and found out my case is closed and they won't reimburse me for the tickets. Now, I got stuck with 5 tickets for Disney that I don't know when I can use.
Horrible experience, website didn't have this info, and then I found that Disney tickets prices was the same as what I paid for. My advise is to check at Disney or other attractions website first and deal with them directly instead of TicketsAtWork, even if you want to cancel or postpone, they will find a way to do it.

Booked a room in Yountville hotel for July 31st. I found out I have covid on July 29th and called right away to cancel my reservation. I was told by the customer service representative they will be able to help out if I provide my positive test result which I did! In the meantime I reached out to hotel Yountville and I got confirmation from them that they authorized the refund and the only thing I need to do is to cancel the reservation through expedia (that is their partner). I reached out again to Ticketsatwork customer service and I was told they will open another case. I did not hear back from them. The manager from hotel Yountville was so nice to give me a call again and tell me that again they did authorize the refund and advised me to contact tickets at work again. I, of course, submitted another request just to get an email back that they did not hear back from their partner (expedia) and they cannot resolve the issue! It is becoming extremely frustrating since the charge is close to $900. I have not heard back from them even though Hotel is willing to refund it but they are unable to do it because I booked it via 3rd party. I am very disappointed with customer service as when I called to try and resolve the issue instead of trying and helping me out one of the customer service representatives started offering me more tickets. Regretfully I do not think I will be using this website again, I just lost $900 due to something I am not able to control (such as getting covid) and I do not see that anyone is willing to help.

Booked a room in Las Vegas at the Luxor. The images displayed on TOW did NOT represent the property. This property is under construction! The rooms are dated (I think it was last decorated the year I was born). The elevators were lined with plywood. I was afraid to touch anything in the room which was musty. The hotel did not have a valet and would not help me with my bags. I had to drag my own bags across two parking lots, through the lobby, and then across the casino floor to the plywood-lined elevators myself. I am handicapped, so this was no easy task. As soon as I saw the room, I went back downstairs and said I couldn't stay there after calling TOW who assured me I would get a full refund. The hotel manager was very nice and said he would provide a full refund, however, TOW would not process it and in the end, refunded 84.00 of the $325.96 that I paid to them to reserve the room. I DID NOT STAY. I LEFT THERE AND WENT TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL! Our school district has TOW listed under discounts and deals so hard-working educators can get a break on travel. This was no deal! Following up with complaint to BBB and ADA.

However, as a 3rd party, we will be more than happy to contact the broker to see if a refund can be possibly obtained. Please provide us an order number and we can gladly look into this. Thank You.

Misleading Hotel Fees Beware
November 23, 2021

I booked a Las Vegas hotel room, In October for my November stay. I went on TAW website and noticed a discount from my original purchase, i called TAW and asked for a price match and they recommended I cancel and rebooked for the better offer.

Big mistake, the rate was less but the resort fees were not listed on the purchase like they were previously and I was charged $200+ Of taxes and hotel fees on a $300 room reservation. I called to make sure hotel fees were include because $200 is high for taxes and fees and they are not listed as they are when you book a Vegas hotel. And the customer service rep opened a ticket because he too was confused to why my fees were so high. Leading up to my trip I called the hotel and they told me I would definitely be charged for resort fees and that it should have been stated on my reservation which it was not.

I called TAW for an update and I was treated horribly by Kim who stated he was the highest authority I could not speak to anyone else and that I should just hang up the phone because there is nothing else to discuss.

I wrote a detailed complaint to TAW customer service and was completely dismissed again, they keep saying resort fees are collected by hotel although no where on my confirmation does it say that. And I was charged an absurd tax and fee amount. Which I will attach proof.

Please be aware of hidden fees with this site.
It's best to book with the hotel directly to avoid misleading prices. You think you are getting a deal but end up paying double. Now I have to pay an extra $200+ in resort fees when I arrive.

Never has anyone addressed why resort fees was not listed as an extra charge which states by the hotel needed to be disclosed on the purchase confirmation.

Look elsewhere, Vegas.com and Expedia are great websites to use and are transparent with fees.

What is the company doing concerning all the Disneyland passes purchased prior to COVID-19 and the parks closing? I purchased four Disneyland passes in 2019 Christmas for gifts for my son, daughter in law, granddaughter, and myself. We had planned to use them for the Spring/Summer 2020 and then Covid hit. Those funds were collected by Tickets at Work and possibly transferred to Disneyland, however I am out a thousand dollars in passes. I called tickets at work in April of 2021 and they said the passes where expired and could not issue a refund even through the Disneyland was closed but Main Street open. As Disneyland Opened to only California residents in 2021, no help still. They said I'd have to reach out to Disneyland. I did that as Disney had extended the expiration dates to the end of 2021 at which at that time I purchased Sea World tickets through tickets at work on Black Friday 2021, and we planned our trip. Guess what? We all started getting sick one way or another and unable to go. Disneyland passes had officially expired, and Sea World were getting closer April 2022. With kids going back to school again, you can imagine the germs that where going around and eventually the Sea World passes expired. Fortunately Disneyland passes "never expire" but you have to buy new passes and then send the original ones with proof of purchases to Disney and they issue you a credit in the form of a gift card. Sea World San Diego does not do this so you are referred back to the third party and they do nothing but, tell you can't get a refund because the tickets are expired and they says so. So, basically you are getting ripped off with third party. Is the discounts worth it? Both Sea World and Disneyland honor their own passes whole heartedly. Here's the thing and question I have? How is Tickets at Work making money if they are cheaper then the original park tickets? I'm guessing with as much money as they collect and passes through their business knowing the passes say, "No rain checks, refunds, or exchanges." This expiration date is bogus to Tickets at Work because, they do nothing after they have collected your money. Their sales are final! Someone is eating it, and it's usually the consumer.

Terrible Company
April 25, 2023

I am writing this complaint to inform you of the abysmal customer service and unethical business practices exhibited by Tickets At Work. Their complete lack of empathy and unwillingness to assist me in a time of personal crisis is nothing short of repugnant. I demand either a full refund or a new ticket being issued for my family.

My Disneyland ticket (CARE-6*******6664 expired on December 30,2022. Unfortunately, our family was unable to attend due to a sudden and devastating death in the family caused by Covid. During this distressing time, the unfeeling and indifferent treatment by Tickets At Work only served to further exacerbate our pain.

Although Disneyland was willing to issue a new ticket as a compassionate gesture, they required a simple verification from Tickets At Work. This necessitated a three-way call between Disneyland, Tickets At Work, and myself to confirm the ticket information. Regrettably, Tickets At Work displayed an appalling level of indifference and flat-out refused to engage in this straightforward procedure.

The financial and emotional toll inflicted upon us by Tickets At Work's inaction is staggering. It is shocking that they have neither refunded my money nor exchanged the ticket, given the extenuating circumstances surrounding our inability to attend the park. Their refusal to cooperate demonstrates a total disregard for customer well-being and exposes their true priorities: profit over compassion.

I implore Consumer Affairs to take immediate action against Tickets At Work for their despicable behavior and to hold them accountable for their actions. Case number CARE-******* (*******) deserves your prompt attention, and I expect a resolution that either involves a full refund or the issuance of a new ticket.

Companies like Tickets At Work must not be allowed to exploit and mistreat customers without consequence.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a swift and appropriate resolution.

If I could give negative stars, I would.

I went to Las Vegas for a Bachelor/Bachelorette party. I bought tickets for a show for the ladies and an ATV tour for the fellas. We called ahead of time the day before to confirm the time since we were taking Ubers everywhere. They had no record of the tickets being purchased, they could not find the sale with my confirmation number that Tickets at Work had given me. I had to call Tickets at Work and they sent me an email to print out to take to the ATV tour facility. I did not bring my printer with me to Las Vegas and had no car so I asked the host of the house we had rented and he was very nice to print it out for us. So, the gentleman called their Uber and went on their way. They were told upon arriving that Tickets at Work had never scheduled their tour. We had chosen the afternoon tour. To say the least this put a damper on our trip since we were only there a few days and this was "the guys" big adventure. I decided to enjoy the rest of my trip and not deal with Tickets at Work until I returned thinking I could reimburse all of my friends their money and it would be no problem to get my money back. I trusted Tickets at Work because it was a perc that my company trusted. The tickets cost me $614.00 total. I called customer service and was told I would receive a voucher/credit. I told the woman that I do not have any need to use their services again and would like to be reimbursed to my original form of payment. She explained that she would put in a request. She put me on hold and then told me that they would put the money back on my card. It has been several weeks now so I called a few days ago and a gentleman told me it would be 90 days! WHY? My money never left your company! You never made my appointment! You have my money and I would like it back! They did tell me I would receive an email update every 15 days. Super! How about you just give me back my money now?
I will never use Tickets at Work again. I would rather pay full price and be guaranteed to get what I paid for and not have any hassle while on vacation. Disappointing.

As with all of the reviews on here I was robbed of close to $3,000 in tickets to Disney World and Discovery Cove, purchased for the week of April 9th on the Tickets at Work website, but due to the closure because of Covid-19 we were not able to go. When I called Disney World they said they would issue a refund and that they just needed the credit card that I used to purchase the tickets, when I told them that I purchased my tickets through Tickets at Work they said to call Tickets at work and that they would have to issue the refund. When I contacted Tickets at Work they said they cannot issue a refund and that we had until the end of this year to reschedule the tickets and if we do not reschedule the tickets by the end of this year than we would lose the value and pay more! Whether they open or not we DO NOT plan to go to Disney world this year, we only had one chance to go and that was in April. What a complete waste of money! We could've used that money to pay bills! I will never use this crooked site ever again and will let everyone know what crooks Tickets at Work are! (im including a picture I took from the communication between me and a person at Disney world, via my Disney experience website showing proof they were issuing refunds)

I purchase tickets for the Sea Hear Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ through Ticketsatwork.com in March right before the COVID pandemic. This festival has since been postponed from September 2020 to September 2021 due to COVID restrictions/precautions. I am unable to attend the dates for next year and when I contacted Ticketsatwork they refused to issue a refund stating that the event is set to take place at a later date and the tickets are still valid. I explained that Sea Hear Now is issuing refunds to fans who purchased tickets through them directly and are unable to attend the new dates, but they still will not refund my money. I reached out to Sea Hear Now to let them know what a disgrace this is and they state they are not even familiar with this company and therefore cannot be of any assistance. It's a shame that TicketsatWork is taking advantage of this global pandemic to profit for themselves. I will never purchase anything through their site again and I will spread the word to everyone possible. BUYER BEWARE!

We deeply apologize about this matter. These tickets were purchased on our "Preferred Access" reseller section and once purchased a refund cannot be obtained unless the festival is cancelled. We tried reaching out to the broker several times about this concern and they were unable to obtain a refund. They advised the show will go on and a refund cannot be obtained. However, we are still periodically checking with the seller to see for any new updates on your behalf. Thank You.

We booked a hotel through them in Orlando. We stay in Miami so the state of Florida has the same taxes all over. When we booked this hotel it said parking is free on tickets at work website that is not the case. And they charges us 156 dollars in hotel recovery and fees... on a 340 dollar room. The fine print when you click on the question mark of why it was so high, said it was suppose to recover fees such as parking and resort fees. We get there and there is additional 35 dollars a night for resort fees and self parking was 27 dollars a night... we go back to the site and now the taxes are way cheaper for the same weekend and the wording has been updated to taxes and fees. But parking still says it's free... we called over the phone and was literally on the phone for a hr. The woman could not tell us the break down of why the taxes was 156 how can you charge over 41% in taxes and not be able to account what they are for. She would put us on hold for 10 mins at a time and come back and repeat the same thing she said. Clearly they are ripping off customers post covid because I don't remember them being this terrible before covid. I will be sharing this story every where I can. Please stay away from there if it comes to booking something the hotel would have been cheaper through Hilton my vacation was almost ruined because this put me in a bad mood and I had to sit on the phone and get absolutely no where with someone thinking they are giving you the explanation of the questions you are asking and attitudes because you won't except the poor explanation they gave. 1 star is too good because the supervisor was unhelpful as well stating that all she can do is put in a refund request. They emailed the same day still not able to break nothing down and did not address the free parking at all.

We accidentally booked our hotel in the wrong location and just wanted to switch the location. Same hotel chain, same price, same duration. But we had checked in later and by the time they had zero people to answer our calls. Instead they want use to use an "online forum" to help answer our calls. Waste of time and extremely unhelpful. I would have rather just spent the extra money saved (which wasn't much) just to get rid of this headache. If I could give it less than a zero I would, but alas reviews don't work like that. Anyways will NEVER use this site and will NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT EVER MENTIONS THIS SITE. Waste of time, waste of money. Oh and since no one is there to help us with that issue at the time and the hotel can't do anything since it's up to the website I guess WE WILL HAVE TO SLEEP IN THE CAR TONIGHT. As they are only able to help us during normal business hours which is oh so helpful. Seriously NEVER USE THIS SITE EVER. But that's just my opinion. I can see many other terrible reviews and personally I would trust them.

Horrible and Unreliable
October 13, 2021

A concert has been rescheduled 3 times over a year. Tickets at Work refused to provide a refund even while Ticketmaster (the provider) offered it. I was already upset that the tickets were a higher price than ticket master but falsely advertised that it was discounted, then to not get a refund. Luckily, I am able to go at the rescheduled date. However, Tickets At Work told me they couldn't provide updated tickets (that the QR code should still work) Ticket Master provided all their customers with updated tickets so I am baffled by this! I don't want to take any chances of showing up at the door for them to tell me that my tickets are invalid. My friends had confidence in me to purchase the tickets. They are already upset that I chose this higher-priced sham 3rd party to purchase from but to look like a fool at the door b/c my tickets are invalid I cannot take a chance on. So I am forced to purchase additional tickets from TicketMaster. I simply lost the little trust I had in Tickets At Work. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. IT IS A SCAM

I made a car rental reservation and was told when I got to the counter that I could not get the rental car because I booked with a debit card and not a credit card. Tried to change the rental to my partner's name so he could use his credit card and TAW would not allow me to. Because of the confusion they told me they would refund me my money but I would be subject to the $55 cancellation fee since it wasn't cancelled within 72 hours before my reservation, which I agreed with. I was told that my refund was still processing after calling back 3 times within 3 weeks. Then I made an attempt to call the car rental place on a 3way call with TAW in which the customer service rep at TAW recorded the phone call, in which the car rental company told them that it was okay for them to refund me my money because TAW was not charged nor was I charged for the rental and they still told me it would take 72 hours to fully process my refund. Then I waited another 2 weeks for them to tell me that they weren't refunding me my money after they told me several times before that they were processing my refund. This is the most dishonest company I've ever dealt with and I'm honestly disappointed because I have purchased a lot of tickets from them over 5 years and this is the first time I've had a horrible experience and I will no longer be purchasing anything else from them and I will also be filing a complaint with my corporation so that they will be removed from our corporate discount benefit option. This is definitely a scam.

Scammers
April 5, 2023

Last Saturday (April 1st) I booked a rental via my company's discount site. Went to get the car via the rental company. I too was informed I needed a $500 hold for the duration.

Since I didn't have it, I called immediately to process a refund. This is now where the scamming begins...

While on the phone with an agent...who lacks the reasoning capabilities of the English language, this agent explained that because I didn't cancel within 48hrs prior to the date of the rental, I would have to pay $103.00. Keep in mind, all this is still on April 1st. When I mentioned that to him, the reply was "yes ok, we can begin the process and charge $103.00." Clearly a lack of understanding.

Second issue, I declined to pay the $103 and asked for this to be escalated. Got an email on Sunday afternoon saying "your request for a refund is denied...thank you for doing business with Ticketsatwork". Since I could not reply to the email because the closed the issue, I called again...

Third time I'm making a request for my refund and now they said "our partner's policy is the reason the refund won't be processed." So I called the rental company. To my immediate surprise, the rental company said the opposite, meaning I should get a full refund and even provided a case number, placed it on file for Ticketsatwork to review and process.

Called Ticketsatwork and provided all the details and this was their response. "Was this from an actual person or virtual assistant? Was it approved by a manager? Do you have it in writing? We will need 72hrs to review with our partners. Please note this does not mean a full refund."

I'm still waiting and I dear, they will someone how lose my information and say the case was closed.

Hence I this "company" as nothing more than a scam.

I had originally bought round trip tickets for $500 from google flights. I found Tickets at Work through my jobs website. I saw that it was only $470 there, so I cancelled my other flights and proceeded with Tickets at Work to save a little money. It took until the middle of the night to confirm my tickets. When I looked at them the next morning, my last name was missing a letter. My fault, but should be an easy fix. I called them, first phone call was almost 30 minutes because of hold times. The lady told me she would have to charge me the difference of what the flight costs now, she said it would be $40 extra. Putting the new cost over what I originally paid with google flights. I asked to speak to manager to see if they could fix it. She rudely said her supervisor would tell me the same thing. I asked to speak to him anyways. She put me on another hold. Then said he wasn't available and could call me back in a few hours. I said ok, waited a few hours, nothing. I called back, this time a 45 min phone call because of holds. The guy tells me something totally different this time. He said that I will have to call the airline directly. Well the airline website says it has to be changed through the third party. I am currently on hold with them, over 2 hours… for them to probably tell me Tickets at Work has to do it. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, something so simple has turned into such a nightmare and no one seems to know how to fix it. Literally just missing one letter in my name. So not sure if they're going to let me on the flight or with my name on the tickets not matching my ID. Extremely stressed about it now but I don't know what else to do except hope they let me in. And now I've wasted my time writing this review, so I suggest you spend a little more money and save a ton of time, and DON'T USE THEM!
