Bad experience

I order a pair of shoes for my daughter on 12/10 they promise they will be here before Christmas since I order before the date which they mentioned that was the 15 well call them on the 21 for order status they say that will be here next day I call back again the 24 the guy was very nice and again for the 3rt time assure me that they be here the next day since I order before the deadline well Christmas arrive Nd not present for my child call back on the 28 the guy was rude and told me that the deadline was the 9 ok weird I was told 3 times even before I purchased just to be sure and they were clear was the 10 I understand is the holidays but 29 to deliver a pair of shoes? I ask to speak to the supervisor I was told if my shoes would arrived on time I will be compensate again she just say sorry I can offer you 20% that was insulting terrible costumer services the shoes were 130 shoes no super expensive but not cheap and was the gift for Christmas for my child I got them on the 29... I chose your company to spend my money and honest I'm sorry is not the way to treat a costumer you fix the problem is your fault I got false information from 3 of your employees very dishonest to keep laying to me and all you say is sorry and I will do 20% never again will order from this company... every oder place I order things for Christmas stuff manage to send everything in the time frame the promise. After feeling insulted with the 20% offer I told her how terrible of manager she was she give me a 30% whatever overall horrible experience is the principal of the whole situation

Worse customer service

I attempted to buy $428 worth of clothes for my son I got an online coupon code that gave 15% off the whole purchase, which works just fine it actually took the money off when I went to pay unfortunately my bank flagged the purchase because there are so many problems with this company that they automatically do a check for fraud so that was problem number one which I should have just said forget it at that point but my son really wanted the things that he picked out so I thought let me try in the morning to pay then of course I got an error code stating that they didn't have what all was said and done I tried to put in my code again and it didn't work anymore and I didn't receive the 15% off I sent an email to the company and all I got in return was an email back 24 hours later saying to call the 1-800 number which obviously I was trying to avoid after sitting on hold I then got a very ignorant gentleman who told me basically oh well too bad and I said wouldn't you rather honor that and sell $400 worth of clothes and he said sorry we can't honor that so I will shop somewhere else for now... a reputable company. I wish I would have read all these reviews before I went online to their site

A piece of Sh*t

I bought some items online then i received only one item in a seperate package, the rest came from LA to Miami via Fedex the first package by Fedex too arrive well, the second package with the rest (6 items) return to sender cuz Fedex dont delver in a business address, $#*! off the first package was send usind fedex and they delver it with no problem. I wait to they reship my package then they cancel my order and refund my money. Very Bad service, assitance, support etc, DONT BUY AGAIN ON TILLYS

My package was ordered March 7th. It stated it would be delivered by the 16th but then changed to the 18th on the 18th it stated that the package could not be delivered because "the recipient was unknown" even though I have order before and have successfully received packages from Tilly's before. I spoke with a customer service representative and they told me they would issue a refund once they received the package. It has been over a week and a half and the item is still in TX, at this rate the package would take months to return. I think it is ridiculous that an immediate refund is out of question if the package never reached my location. This isn't the first time I have had issues with Tilly's online orders. My last order one of my items went missing and half of the orders I received were used and stained. I am still waiting for a refund for an order I never received. Tilly's used to be my go to when I was in MD, but now my only option is to go online or drive an hour. And for either after these experiences I wouldn't risk it.

This guy, Esteban, of the store #*******, was a great professional. He defined the meaning of the word. He also helped me when I was obviously lost! I told him what I was doing and he just started exploding with ideas (I was creating an outfit from scratch). He showed me to the awesome Graphic T's and helped me pick out some pants that I didn't think would fit me right at first, but he said they fit a little differently than most pants and he was very right! They are actually my favorite pair now and I need to get some more! Anyway, he also let me talk to him and we had a great conversation that I can honestly say that we both took stuff home from. I left that store a few minutes after closing because the other amazing representatives of that store noticed what I was doing and did not rush me (even though I rushed myself). They all helped me out with my experience months ago and I purposely waited to make this review to show that the representatives of the Tilly's Store #******* (that's the Tilly's in the Mission Valley Mall of San Diego, CA) are beyond patient and amazingly helpful. Now back to Esteban, he made sure that everyone, not just myself, was being helped out in the best way possible, and he did so by personally seeing to that. He is a very bright young man and has a great head on his shoulders. He is very helpful and shows a lot of untapped potential that I don't believe he sees yet. I hope that his higher ups have and are pushing him into positions where he is uncomfortable so that he can grow into the great leader that he displayed he could be just from my brief interaction with him. He needs to be promoted and needs to be tasked with something great, because he has great customer service and an amazing professional mindset. He has a great future ahead of him but will not be able to reach it, unless he is given the chance he deserves to shine. His bosses, or managers, need to give him those chances. Thank you again Esteban for the awesome experience, and thank you to the other representatives for allowing me to check out after you had closed. You are all great people.

My $100+ order was scanned as delivered to my front door by Ontrac (stores are seriously still using this delivery service?), but the package was nowhere to be found. There is no access to a front door at this address so it's not possible it was left there. After expressing my concerns to Tillys that I strongly believed my order was misdelivered (I get tons of deliveries here without issue, the house is monitored and we know our carriers and neighbors), I was told they'd investigate with Ontrac and get back to me. I separately reached out to Ontrac as well. The final word from both companies was that Ontrac's GPS showed the driver was at the correct location during delivery (they had no ability to provide me with proof of this) and Tillys backed them without question, accusing my package of being stolen and saying therefore they are not liable and nothing can be done. They immediately closed my claim without further action. A few days later a neighbor down the street who had been out of town discovered my package sitting at their address. Our USPS carrier returned it to me. So my neighbor and the USPS did what I paid Tillys and Ontrac to do. Be aware that Ontrac's GPS and drivers are not reliable and Tillys fully entrusts their orders to this system. Neither company will take responsibility to fulfill the service you have paid for. You will receive many canned responses from Tillys that they are not pursuing any action so take it up with your bank. I was almost scammed out of $100+ but thankfully I have good honest neighbors. I'm really regretful I spent my money with them but refuse to risk a similar ordeal to get my items returned. A hugely embarrassing and amateur quality of service from Tillys and I strongly strongly suggest you shop elsewhere.

STAY AWAY

I started looking for a bikini online about 3 months ago to go away with. Once I finally found what I wanted I checked Amazon to see if I could get is cheaper. I found the itm origianlly on Tillys. They are now shipping to Canada. However, to my surprise, the same item on Amazon was not able to be shipped to Canada even though the shipper was Tillys. I called them and asked them to honor the price they had on Amazon since it was almost $20 in the difference. They said they hadn't updated their site which is why it was showing so much more than Amazon. So, that was fine. With a smile, I purchased this itme from the Tillys online webpage. After waiting a few days, I called to see if my order was shipped. One person told me it had just arrived at their International Hub site the day before. I was excited! 8 days passes and I call again. Another person tells me it had just arrived at their International Hub site the day before. Huh?! I proceed to write to customer service and low and behold, I get a confirmation email 5 minutes later saying my parcel was now on its way to me. I FINALLY get the package and it has a COMPLETEY different print than on the website. I send customer service a pic of what I received and what was on their site. They email me back 10 minutes later and say this " from what I can see, the items are almost exactly same. Of course, they won't always be an perfect match." BY now, it's too late to even send it back. I leave for my trip in a week. Long story short-the items may not match what you see on the site---if they don't, you're S**T out of luck!

They have to be the absolute WORST site I have ever ordered from! I got about 20 items in my cart, when I went to check out I put in my customer info and it wouldn't accept my address... when talking to their help desk they said to sign in as a guest when I did that I lost the entire order and had to start all over... When I finally got the order ready I hit submit and it said the order didn't work... I had to do it AGAIN! When I checked my account the had charged me TWICE! It took me 3 days of calling to finally get a hold of a person who was able to cancel the 1st charge. When they shipped my items they said that 3 were on back order and they don't re-send so I wouldn't be getting those 3 items... They still charged me for them! Tried calling all week to get the order charge fixed and no answer or call back. I went into the store and the guy that worked there couldn't get anyone on the phone for over an hour! Finally they said they would ship me a gift card for the difference! THE WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE of my life! Which is too bad because I happen to like their clothes! BAD JOB TILLYS!

I recently purchased the FULL TILT Snap Front Suede Womens Skater Skirt in the color "camel" after seeing a similar product at another store. The main things I considered before completing the purchase were the price, the fabric quality, the delivery time, and whether it would be true to size.
This style is incredibly popular right now; so many stores carry similar pieces, so there are many options. I chose this particular item at this store because of the soft material, the flowy fit, my previous positive experiences with Tilly's in-store purchases, and the affordable price. The Full Tilt skirt from Tilly's was half the price of the competitor's suede button-up skirt. Tillys delivered the package in a very timely manner, perfectly within the 6-8 day time window that they advertised. Once you receive the package, the first thing you'll notice when you unwrap it is how soft and well made the fabric is. The material is faux suede, so it is very comfy and breezy, and also more animal-friendly than real leather alternatives. The pleating is light and beautiful and the buttons are adhered well, and will not accidentally unsnap.
I am someone that normally orders between a size Extra-Small and a Small, but decided on ordering a Small. This was a great decision, For those that sit on the border between two sizes, I would recommend purchasing the larger size, as the item runs a bit on the smaller side. The skirt's length is perfect, it is short and cute, but covers everything you would want covered. It is great for layering or wearing with a crop top, and is flattering on every body type. It can be worn casually or dressed up for a more formal occasion, which means you'll definitely get your money's worth on this skirt. Overall, I am incredibly happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend this snap front faux-suede skirt to anyone.

Tillys is a cool store. Unfortunately in Pensacola at the Cordova mall, it isn't. A woman employeeapproached me and wouldnt leave me alone and kept asking if I needed help, basically held my $#*!ing hand through the whole store. When i went to purchase at the counter, the woman who was "helping" me find my clothes. Was ringing me up and mentioned there was a contest for the employees to see who helps out on the sales floor the most. So she asked me if I remembered who was assisting me that day(it was her) and i said flat out no i dont. She looked offended. I said its cool i just wanna get my stuff(hinting she was of no help, she was very irritating) she asked me for my email adress so she could enter it for herself even though she didnt help me. She was darker skinned like me but Im greek so she was a little darker. Hey just wanted to say that contest is for employees who help customers... you dont hold their hand thru the store and $#*!ing get mad when I say you weren't helping you were irritating. Go work in the backroom or something...

Absolutely the WORST customer service! Ordered an adorable purse online last night and added a dress to my cart because they had a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale going on. $20 for a $40+ dress? Cool. Well, sure enough I get an email from Tilly's this morning saying they no longer have the purse I want. No backorder offer or anything. Bummer. Well, this is the kicker - Instead of asking me what I want to do / if they can replace it with another similar item, they delete the item from my order - which makes the dress go back up to full price. Then, (and here's the REAL kicker) - within a minute of that email (before I have time to even react), I get a shipping notification that the dress has been sent & my credit card on file has been charged the full price. WHAT?! I didn't even want that dress - let alone at full price. If I knew they didn't have my purse in stock I would have never ordered the dress. Which brings me to another point - A good website wouldn't have let me put the purse in my cart and check out in the first place! Absolutely crazy. Ever heard of real-time availability? Update your damn system. Anyways, I decide to email Tilly's back about how upset I am and see what they can do. They tell me to call their toll free #. How personal. I get over it and call the toll free #. The lady says there's nothing they can do; it's already been shipped. BUT I am free to travel out of my way to one of their stores to return it when I get it (wow, what a nice offer) OR I can mail it back as a return (of course, at my own expense; doesn't even offer to cover it). When I ask her why they didn't call me or at least give me time to respond as to whether or not I still want the dress still, she said that they don't have time to make personal phone calls or write personal emails. "That would take too long." Wow. What a terrible website & what terrible customer service. Truly disappointed.
