I used this site to book a local hotel about 5 days in advance. It was a great price, but non refundable. I didn't think much of it at first, but ended up googling reviews about the site since I hadn't used them before. There were so many bad reviews that my anxiety got the better of me. I ended up emailing them right away asking for further confirmation and any type of guarantee that the booking went through. They responded a few hours later saying they confirmed with the hotel and sent me the hotel's confirmation number. They also sent me a text with a special "VIP" phone number to call if there were issues (the number was indeed different than their regular number). When I got to the hotel, check in was completely smooth! Not a single issue! I was in shock that I somehow managed to get a room in a 4 star hotel SO steeply discounted, especially from a site that so many were calling a scam. That being said, I'm not sure I would use this site to book anything outside of the country, or even outside of my state. The other negative reviews still make me wary. I'm giving them 4 stars for a couple reasons. 1) I have 3 separate confirmation numbers from them, and only one actually matches the hotels confirmation number format, and 2) they seemed to respond to emails rather quickly, but they included numerous grammatical errors and were rather vague, didn't help much to soothe my worries.
SCAM SCAM. Went to hotel on the day and traveluro hadn't sent our booking to the hotel at all. Called customer service with international number with huge roaming cost and was told it would be rectified. Called again & Was told twice that an agent would call me back but no result. Stuck at hotel for last 3 hours waiting for their response. Not sure if I book another hotel in higher price now and have to follow them up for refund. Better to avoid them.

Made a reservation for a hotel/casino in wendover NV for one night for my birthday. I made the reservation on Aug 22...for Sept 29. On Sept 10th I called the casino and cancelled. They said ok, have a nice day. Then called traveluro to cancel.and she laughed and said I would get a follow up email within 24 hours. Nothing. So, I called again. They said it was nonrefundable. I don't book things that are nonrefundable. I was in the hospital for quite some time. I told them that. I keep calling, now they send emails.saying they are working nonstop to get my refund. Well, the reservation was for last night. I am calling my credit card company tomorrow and reporting fraud. Beware of them. Total waste of time and money. I don't think they are a real company.
Tip for consumers:
Nothing stated nonrefundable.. or I would not have booked thru this company!

None.. I cancelled on Sept 10, for a reservation on Sept 29. They still have not refunded my $77. And they say they will, then they say it's nonrefundable..but they will refund it. Very pissed off. I'm going to report fraud To my credit card company.
One week ago I booked Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia through Expedia which somehow redirected me to Traveluro. Traveluro confirmed my booking and charged my credit card. I went to check in today and the hotel has no reservationon on my name. I called Traveluro customer support. No solution other than that they will call me back. They did, but just to tell me that they are investigating and will email me the result. No result. I had to make another reservation somewhere else. SCAM BIG TIME. AVOID TRAVELURO.

They're a scam. I called to cancel a reservation 10 days prior & was told I'd receive a refund & confirmation email. A few days later I called again & was told they had no record of the cancellation & now it was too late for a refund. Hotel said reservation was thru Agoda not Traveluro. Agoda said they couldn't do anything, I'd need to contact Traveluro. Agoda is a partner of the scam company so they can't be trusted either.

I canceled my reservation before their deadline, about two hours to be exact. I received a confirmation email regarding my request so it had a time stamp. Received an email from a person by a single name, no contact info saying my request couldn't be honored because I was too late.
Called multiple times and talked to several people. They kept saying they'd "investigate" it. Spent a lot of time on phone, getting no where. Had to get my credit card company involved. I'd avoid this "company."

Booked a hotel in Puerto Rico, paid for everything in full including taxes and service fees... I get to the hotel just to find out that TRAVELEURO didn't include the service fee of the hotel but rather the site. So I was stuck with a $230plus dollar fee on top of already paying $900 for the hotel... I was PISSED!

I had to pay the additional fees. The customer service that I paid an additional $9.99 for was of no use...
Traveluro has the worst customer service! They advertised a 2 queen bed room in which I paid a premium for in Tokyo, Japan at Park Tokyo Hotel. I needed 2 queen beds as I was traveling with family.
When I got to the hotel it was about 3pm to check in and the hotel gave us a room with only 1 queen bed. The hotel said they don't have any rooms with 2 queen beds and that Traveluro falsely advertised rooms with 2 queen beds.
I called Traveluro customer service by 4pm to either get a refund or a room with 2 queens. Mind you I'm with my 80 yr old mom and 6 year daughter. They said they would escalate the issue and call us back.
Time is money when you're on vacation and traveling with limited days. We never got an answer from customer service that entire day until the next day! We had to take a dirty room with 2 twin beds that had to fit 2 people on a twin while waiting for Traveluro to call us back!
They called the next morning and still did not resolve the issue. The hotel did their best to work with us even though this was Traveluros fault for selling a room that doesn't even exist!
DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELURO! They will sell you a room that doesn't exist for $1000 and not even try to help fix their mistake!
I have made bookings with them on three occasions. Initially, the booking process was smooth and hassle-free. However, during my second booking attempt, I encountered an issue where I was unintentionally charged twice due to a technical glitch while submitting my card information. Unfortunately, I did not receive a refund for this error. Subsequently, when I tried booking with GOSPLITTY instead of TRAVELURO on the third occasion, I faced a delay in receiving a refund as both platforms are affiliated. This experience has highlighted that there might be a lack of reliability in the booking process, significantly decreasing the chances of a successful transaction. In light of these incidents, I would advise against using either of these websites in the future. Thank you.
Made a reservation on February 19 2024 for Warren Michigan for July 18th through the 21st of 2024. Made several calls to the hotel to confirm my reservation and was told every time there was no booking for me. I also tried calling Traveluro several times from February until the week of my trip with no answer, robo call that hung up on me until finally speaking to someone on July 15th. He stated he would send my complaint to the appropriate department and on July 16th received an email and voicemail stating my booking was non refundable and that I had a room reserved according to them. Made two more calls on July 16th and finally got a call back stating had a reservation booked but after arguing with the woman and telling her to call the hotel herself she stated she would and would call me back. Almost 2 1/2 hours later and still no response. Cost over $450 they are refusing to refund!

TERRIBLE! Avoid this company at any cost. Booked holiday with them and fully paid 3 months ago. They cancelled our reservation last minute now, saying there is no availability. Super inconvenient and disappointing as we booked all the travel and transfer around that already and left without any holiday booking with our holiday coming. Don't use this company ever if you don't want to destroy your holiday.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use it at all

Was double charged for my hotel room and they are trying to say that one of the charges for $263 is for taxes and fees. Scam Artists!
We booked a hotel in Canada while residing in Canada. The website displayed prices in USD, which were $100 more expensive than other booking websites. Assuming the pricing was in CAD, we proceeded with the booking. However, upon payment, we realized the price was in USD, resulting in overpaying by $100. Additionally, we paid extra for call services advertised as 24/7 support, but our calls never connected. Despite sending multiple emails requesting cancellation, we haven't received any response in over two weeks. The entire website seems deceptive, and their service is abysmal. I strongly advise staying away from this platform.
I paid for a VIP phone number for check-in help. The number given didn't work. I tried 3 times and got kicked off, while on hold, all 3 times.
They didn't at all deliver what they charged me for but would not give a refund of the non-delivered service.
I was charged a pet fee almost as expensive as my hotel stay by the hotel when I arrived with my pet. Through Traveluro signup I was not informed of pet fee and hotel was labeled pet friendly.
Tip for consumers:
Entire phone call was 22 minutes. I was placed on hold 18 minutes of that time and matter was not resolved.
Over two weeks, still no refund from a trip I made and cancelled, I have all the paperwork sowing the cancellation, confirming. Also web-site screwed up dates, type of room. No replies from emails,
Then when finally, over 30 minutes on hold, talked to someone, from who knows what country, and all I get was lip service, it's been processed on our end. Well two weeks ago and still not in my bank?
Biggest scam ever! Booked a hotel 3 months in advance. They canceled on me the day of my trip! Said they were over-booked and needed to relocate me. Never happened. Left is hotel-less on Dallas!
I booked a hotel on Traveluro for a cheaper rate. I later found this review and was worried about the legitemacy of the service. In the end, all worked out as expected, so it's not all bad.
Originally, I had posted that this company is a complete scam. That's because when I showed up to my hotel, there was no reservation for me. For weeks, they either didn't pick up the phone, hung up on me, and stopped replying to my emails. After writing this review and another on trustpilot, they finally issued me a refund. But unfortunately, I'm still not convinced this is a legitimate company. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

I was hesitant cause the prices were too good to be true and worriedly called the hotel to confirm the very next day. Turns out the voucher code was not the same as my confirmation code. Called the customer service center and stayed on wait for 30 mins. They assured that they would send me confirmation later and I confirmed my reservation with that number. Overall smooth and reliable
I booked a hotel through Traveluro for June 07,2022, and got the hotel confirmation number from them.
When I arrived the hotel. I was told by hotel that they do not have my booking information and do not have room for me. I contacted Traveluro's customer service and I was confirmed again that my booking was active. I was waiting at hotel hall for more than 5 hours without any solution. I had to book another hotel nearby with much higher price.
However, I have got my price difference reimbursement one month later after I wrote a review about my experience.
Tip for consumers:
never trust their low price offering.

Booked 2 hotels through TravelEuro - one was non refundable and the other was refundable until a certain date. When I learned of their bad reviews, I immediately cancelled the hotel that I could still cancel. Refund was sent to my account immediately. No problem there. Then rebooked with GoSplitty (which btw is the same company as TravelEuro, I found later) The one that wasn't refundable, I was so nervous for months that something would go wrong according to the reviews. When I finally checked in, it showed that I had paid in full but TravelEuro never gave the hotel my payment. I was so scared! I showed them where I paid and they let me check in anyway and and said they will continue to purse the payment from TravelEuro. Close call! The GoSplitty check in went smooth no problem there but TravelEuro is one in the same as my confirmation text messages were coming from the same number for both companies. My advice, pay more and go with another for peace of mind. There is something shady with TravelEuro. Won't book with them again, too stressful.
I was wary of this service after I booked a night at the Kimpton Muse hotel in NYC in March 2022 - the deal seemed too good to be true. I had read other reviews of this service and was a bit apprehensive of pre-paying, and honestly was nervous about whether I actually had been scammed. I did not receive final confirmation of the reservation through Traveluro until the night before the actual reservation (I received a text of my confirmation number, which was 001, which also still made me feel like it was all fake). I called the day we were leaving Philadelphia for New York to confirm the reservation directly with the hotel and they had me fully booked and marked as prepaid. I knew I could challenge the reservation charge with my credit card company if it the booking wasn't honored and we knew we'd be able to find another hotel once we got to New York if it didn't work out. Luckily it did all work out, in spite of all of these negative reviews.
I'm not sure if I would use it again given the number of bad reviews, even with my own positive experience.
