I used this site to book a local hotel about 5 days in advance. It was a great price, but non refundable. I didn't think much of it at first, but ended up googling reviews about the site since I hadn't used them before. There were so many bad reviews that my anxiety got the better of me. I ended up emailing them right away asking for further confirmation and any type of guarantee that the booking went through. They responded a few hours later saying they confirmed with the hotel and sent me the hotel's confirmation number. They also sent me a text with a special "VIP" phone number to call if there were issues (the number was indeed different than their regular number). When I got to the hotel, check in was completely smooth! Not a single issue! I was in shock that I somehow managed to get a room in a 4 star hotel SO steeply discounted, especially from a site that so many were calling a scam. That being said, I'm not sure I would use this site to book anything outside of the country, or even outside of my state. The other negative reviews still make me wary. I'm giving them 4 stars for a couple reasons. 1) I have 3 separate confirmation numbers from them, and only one actually matches the hotels confirmation number format, and 2) they seemed to respond to emails rather quickly, but they included numerous grammatical errors and were rather vague, didn't help much to soothe my worries.
SCAM SCAM. Went to hotel on the day and traveluro hadn't sent our booking to the hotel at all. Called customer service with international number with huge roaming cost and was told it would be rectified. Called again & Was told twice that an agent would call me back but no result. Stuck at hotel for last 3 hours waiting for their response. Not sure if I book another hotel in higher price now and have to follow them up for refund. Better to avoid them.
After booking my hotel I was scared after seeing all the negative reviews. It all ended up being okay though. Just maybe call your hotel and check they got the reservation before you just show up. Got the same hotel but for 400 dollars cheaper!
So when I went to book a hotel for our destination, it reverted to the city we reside. As soon as I clicked submit, I realized it. I called immediately and MULTIPLE times afterwards. There was NO answer. I tried emailing. There was NO response. Finally I got ahold of someone when I clicked to "verify my reservation." They would not cancel my reservation, nor would they let me change it to the city were traveling to. So now I'm stuck paying for a hotel room in the city I live.

Cannot reach the escalation team. I made mistake and caught it 5 minutes after I printed out my reservation I wanted it for the 3 not on the 2nd. Well 5 hours later no one gets back to me hotel has rooms tomorrow but they are impossible to get someone on the phone. I'm convinced only 1 person works there. This is worst I have ever dealt with I traveled for my job for 20 years on the road. This was first and last time to use this traveluro. It's customer service at its worst chick fillet does a better job
I booked the hotel room, after two minutes late, I received a confirmation email from the Traveluro. Immediately I realized I made mistake I needed 2 double beds room instead of the double bed room. I called customer service to change it and would pay the additional charge. But Traveluro said to contact the hotel to make a request if the hotel agree or not. The rooms are available, I called the hotel too, the hotel said I booked through the third party, and also the third party is easy to change it. But until 6-7 days later, Traveluro emailed me hotel rejected my request.
I contact them several times, sometimes nobody answer the phone, very bad customer service.

I booked a room 4 hours before arriving at the hotel to find out they didn't have my reservation. I call when I got there and was told I would have a confirmation number in an email in 15 mins. 30 mins later I called asking about that email, I was told to wait 15 mins and I'll have it they assured me. I called 30 mins later and was told the same thing, I called 20 mins later and was told 5 mins. Then I get an email 2 mins later telling me that they can make the reservation, they will refund my money and give me a $25 discount the next time I book with them. Meanwhile, I had to drive 1 hour away to get a room because the city was booked just to drive back in the morning to work. 25 M@@#$ Fu#& dollars for them taking over 5 1/2 to tell me they didn't do what they took money for. Avoid this service
They're rates are low however they are almost non-respondent when it comes to a refund. I have been trying to get a refund for two months and I canceled my booking 6 weeks before the arrival date. The customer service dept appears to be non existent when it come to a problem. I would use Trip Advisor plus.

This company is a joke, they take your money and don't even provide you with a pleasant experience. My booking dates was wrong by a day I've called in to customer service and every time I called they said waiting on a response from "travel partner" and it will take up to an hr/8hrs. Six days later 2 days until my trip they still haven't resolved it. Now they don't want to answer any calls or anything. I really hate deceitful play and this is one of those I've been inconvenienced and my time and money completely wasted while they run off with my non refundable payment that was suppose to be for a service that I could use. I will never use this company again and I advise you if looking for cheaper rates do your research before you transact. It's to much foolery online and it's quite ashame! Nonetheless if this happen to you or something similar SPEAK OUT! It's nothing cool about ripping people off!
I booked a reservation through them, but accidentally booked for the wrong city. I called immediately on this and tried to get them to change the City. They would not help at all, but did charge me $185 for a room that I never used. I only wish I would have checked the reviews first.
Now, I don't expect a refund if they cannot rebook my hotel room but at least a credit for the $550 I paid upfront for the room. Traveluro like most sites now makes it difficult to actually make any changes and they don't offer any assistance when I came down with Covid. I chose not to travel and infect people but traveluro offers no consideration for these circumstances, they are just happy to take your money and offer no support. I would be careful booking anything through this company.

Stole money & traveluro cancelles your reservations right after they book a loose reservation while lying to you every step of the way and continue to claim you have a valid reservation.
Even got on phone at hotel with manager and tried giving him fake numbers but Manager said those are not even the correct format of how they book reservations. Then after filing bank dispute they give money back and ask me for a good review... wtf.? I think they are using people's money as long as they can and keep it if you don't file with bank but they need to be shut down.
They selected bad hotels with no refund policy. We trust in them, and the hotel Quality Inn Nanuet was the poor and bad hotel I ever visit.

They did not pay the hotel so we had to pay the hotel directly upon check in. So we paid double. Customer service is impossible to get a hold of and then says they will review it. Nothing…. Don't do it!
I tried to book through this ghost company, and apparently are scamming company after I try to book a room after I put all my information its said sorry no room available but when I checked my account they pull the amount. Try to contact them for hours no response
Better to book direct w hotel - it would have been the same price only I got the WORST room at Stamford Courtyard Marriott... concave mattress, ancient a/c loudly booming on/off all night but more annoying is after many attempts to speak with a rep - I could not get one on the phone! Never again w/ Traveluro!
During the Christmas time snow storms of 2022, we were rerouted into Detroit and needed to stay overnight. We booked a room through Traveluro. In less than an hour from the booking we received notice the airlines of a flight change directly to our destination. I called Traveluro, the person took all my info and said she would forward an email to provide additional documentation for a refund. The email never came. They took advantage of the crazy weather to line their pockets.
This site is the worst. I had to rebook a hotel stay in Boston with my own money. Applied for refund still waiting for satisfaction after 6 months. STAY AWAY!?
I made a reservation to travel North by car to care for a sick parent. They unexpectedly passed away before I left and had to cancel to fly North instead. I called Traveluro to cancel my hotel reservation within their stated free cancelation time frame just to get an email stating they have a strict no cancelation policy. As this site is well reputed, we showed up & the Traveluro's card was declined, forcing us to pay for the reservation ourselves (essentially double pay). Additionally, we were unable to contect Traveluro's customer service. Wish there was a -5 star rating for these jokers - borderline thieves with a core competency strength in buffoonery & incompetence!

March 10,2023 I arrived in Cancun exited for my hotel stay I booked with traveluro.com. Ready to check in and was advised there was no reservation made with the booking number. Tried calling customer service to no avail. No one answered. I tried numerous times. Nightmare experience. Never EVER use Traveluro.com!
Booked for same day stay, they didn't pay hotel, and the hotel charged my card then also. I should have looked at reviews first as it's evident there are many that have had this happen as well. I've called (multiple times) and been disconnected every time (after waiting 10-20 minutes on average); the online "contact us" doesn't reply to me either. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH TRAVELURO.
I made a reservation for $400 per night and got COvID four days before the reservation. I called customer service multiple times and emailed customer service and never received a response. I'll fight this with the credit card company.

I feel totally scammed by Traveluro. The hotel failed to meet their obligation to provide a room as advertised. The room did not have a functioning toilet and management failed to fix it after 3 days. I left the hotel early. Traveluro still charged me and blamed the hotel. Traveluro informed me that the charge was nonrefundable and that they are not responsible for accommodation services. Avoid this company.
Booked thru travel euro. Arrived at hotel with confirmation from travel euro no room available. Attempt to contact travel euro hours wasted. Finally talk to someone they inform me once they complete investigation them it'll be 10days for refund.
