I booked a hotel on Traveluro for a cheaper rate. I later found this review and was worried about the legitemacy of the service. In the end, all worked out as expected, so it's not all bad.
SCAM SCAM. Went to hotel on the day and traveluro hadn't sent our booking to the hotel at all. Called customer service with international number with huge roaming cost and was told it would be rectified. Called again & Was told twice that an agent would call me back but no result. Stuck at hotel for last 3 hours waiting for their response. Not sure if I book another hotel in higher price now and have to follow them up for refund. Better to avoid them.
I booked a hotel through Traveluro, paid $126 to them and they were supposed to release $105 to the hotel and they NEVER did. When I got to the hotel they took a cc for incidentals and charged me $105 for the room b/c Traveluro didn't release the $$ I paid them. I have been calling them and they keep assuring me they will get my $105 refunded. I will NEVER use this site again, they are frauds! Beware of this terrible company!

I booked my reservation at Whyndham through Traveluro. My stay at Whyndham was less than good. I contacted Whyndham and they were extremely responsive and said they were going to refund my money to the company I booked through. I never received the refund. I contacted Traveluro to ask about the refund and they basically came me the run around saying it had to go through insurance etc etc. Ultimately, they were given the refund and did not give it back to me. A bunch of crooks. DO NOT use Traveluro!

When searching a hotel locally at our son's college they listed a hotel address and USA. After purchasing and as we were heading there, they sent my confirmation and it was in a state ACROSS THE COUNTRY. They refuse to move it to the state I'm in even though it is the same hotel brand or reinburse me. I took screenshots and showed them the error was not on my part. They did not care.

Booked with Traveluro $850.00 hotel stay in the Bahamas. Family emergency. Not able to go. I called customer service to cancel. The rep stated that I couldn't cancel. I replied that I understand that I can't get get my money back so I will change the date. The rep replied that I can't change the date. I called the hotel and the customer service agent stated that it's not a problem with them but being that I booked through a third party,I need to work it out with Traveluro. Take away: No flexibility with Traveluro. So money hungry that they wouldn't even change the date. What ever happened to helping the customer. They got my money and don't care if I lose my money.

I knew I should have stuck with calling hotel direct and reserving! Made my reservation a week and half from stay date, canceled within traveluro and Hampton's time frame polices, traveluro sent me an email stating they contacted Hampton and per policy would not refund. I called Hampton Corp' and their policey is 24hrs before stay date( i was a week out) so I should be refunded. They flat out lied! Not surprised this day and time. I would not recommend and what goes around comes around traveluro.

After days of trying to get ahold of customer service, they asked for a doctor's not to verify COVID before canceling a reservation. Then asked for more documentation. Then refused to cancel anyway. Multiple problems with this company, stay away.

If I could give Traveluro —-1 star I would. They are total crooks. They are polite and promise help knowing they won't help you and knowing they can but won't means they could care less about the customer. They cannot remain in business if people don't use them…. SO RUN!
I made a reservation at the Comfort Inn in Trevose, PA which will get a bad review as soon as I am done writing this one.
The COMFORT inns are usually fine for short stays and clean. But this one is like a brothal with bugs! I asked for a refund and they refused after giving me a nice polite run around. I called them again after calling Choice hotels to tell them they need to do something about this hotel under their chain! Nothing was done. I asked if the money could be put towards a better hotel since they hadn't paid the hotel yet. They ignored my request and we are locked in.
I do not recommend this site. They are shady and corrupt and they will not last because they could care less about you!

They charge your credit card put it on their MC to pay the hotel, then send you a 'voucher' to present at the hotel. But when you get there and if they don't have your room, or if you cancel in time, the hotel refinds the card on record which is THEIR mastercard. Then you call and sit on hold for hours, several days in a row. You ask to escalate and they say the same thing as the customer service. They have to call the hotel to verify and will call u back.
They of course don't and given they have the cancelation # and they can see in their system they have had the refund sent to them, they figure ppl will go away. NOT ME. I disputed with my bank and have the audit trail to support the reversal.
They also don't tell you there is a deposit for late arrivals to be giaranteed a room.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

We tried to book through a hotel directly but got redirected through this company, didn't not mean to or want to, so right there very sneaky,
Our flights got pushed a day ahead so we tried to switch our day, they refused, at first they asked for proof our flight was delayed and seemed helpful, we spent the time to forward all documents they needed, a day later we got declined, when calling the management we were put on hold for 20 min only to be told nothing changes, they can not give a refund or change the dates, even though the hotel said they could no problem, they literally stole our money.
They would not connect us with any one higher up and there was nothing they could do,

I booked a hotel reservation through Traveluro on 3/17 and paid extra for refundable option till 3/20. On 3/20 I tried canceling the reservation on line and I was not able to. I called and made my case, they sent me an email saying the reservation is non-refundable. I sent them the snapshot of confirmation email that shows the reservation could be canceled & still was not able to cancel the reservation. I will not use Traveluro again in future.

I booked my room weeks before my stay without an issue. Then I received a text the day of my arrival stating my room was ready and to reach out if there were any issues. We landed after midnight and didn't get to the hotel until 1 or 2 am. My reservation was no where to be found and when I called traveluro I was told I would be called back in AN HOUR. We'd been traveling and it was 2 am so I felt this was absurd. Eventually the hotel found a name that resembled mine but was spelled terribly (unrecognizable my) wrong. Because of the difficulty getting answers the hotel was nice enough to let us take the room until the issue was resolved. It was eventually resolved after calling traveluro numerous times. I reached out afterwards because I felt we should be compensated for the time spent and inconvenience. Traveluro told me I spelled my own name wrong (I have documented confirmed emails with the correct spelling) and that there was no documentation of me having any issues. I asked if they recorded their phone calls because I spoke with one of their employees and I was ignored. I resent the email two more times and was ignored both times. The savings were not worth the headache. I WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone. They are unhelpful when problems arise and there's no guarantee you can even get the room you laid for. We were really lucky the front staff at our hotel was so accommodating. Do not use traveluro!

Made a reservation in September for a December 1 night stay. 2 days out of my arrival I contacted the hotel to add another day and was told I had no other reservations. I was told by Hilton to contact Traveluro and after 5+ calls over 5 hours of repeating myself and hold times I continue to get the run around that I do have a confirmation and they cannot get ahold of Hilton. Long story short - I am disputing the charge with my bank as it appears to be a scam as now I have to try to find another hotel in less than 24 hours to stay at for a major event. I can't believe a business is allowed to operate like this. PAY MORE OR AT LEAST USE ANOTHER 3rd party!

I booked something from 5th to 8th. The confirmed 4th to 7th. I instantly called them with in seconds. They had me wait in hold for hours, only for some nasty escalation moron denied to help in anyway. They told me to call the hotel myself, the hotel said the 3rd party should calll them. Now I'm waiting for hotel reservations to open so I can fix the dates with them. Anyhow traveluro sucks! I always use hotels tonight and they are helpful. Traveluro is straight up scum! You stole my money. I purchased on your site and it had an error. I re entered it and then it said, "insufficient funds." I called customer service and they put it on a prepaid hold and said it would drop off within 24 hours. My bank verified that you indeed took my money. Now I had to contact my friend and let her know that I won't be there because of this crap. I hate sites like this and I WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN. YOU ARE THIEVES

I booked my hotel with the 4 months I'm advanced for a stay in Orlando. They emailed me and called me a day before my check in date telling me my hotel is overbooked and they have to give me an alternative one. I asked to talk to a supervisor they said there is no one that will pick up the phone to talk to me about a compensation for the troubles so I told him to rebook the new hotel. I'm 3 hours from check in time and they canceled me again and it took me 25 min to be on hold for them to answer and confirm the 2nd alternative and still saying they arnt giving me no compensation. This is ridiculous my rep was Pat and he was absolutely terrible.
