I used this site to book a local hotel about 5 days in advance. It was a great price, but non refundable. I didn't think much of it at first, but ended up googling reviews about the site since I hadn't used them before. There were so many bad reviews that my anxiety got the better of me. I ended up emailing them right away asking for further confirmation and any type of guarantee that the booking went through. They responded a few hours later saying they confirmed with the hotel and sent me the hotel's confirmation number. They also sent me a text with a special "VIP" phone number to call if there were issues (the number was indeed different than their regular number). When I got to the hotel, check in was completely smooth! Not a single issue! I was in shock that I somehow managed to get a room in a 4 star hotel SO steeply discounted, especially from a site that so many were calling a scam. That being said, I'm not sure I would use this site to book anything outside of the country, or even outside of my state. The other negative reviews still make me wary. I'm giving them 4 stars for a couple reasons. 1) I have 3 separate confirmation numbers from them, and only one actually matches the hotels confirmation number format, and 2) they seemed to respond to emails rather quickly, but they included numerous grammatical errors and were rather vague, didn't help much to soothe my worries.
SCAM SCAM. Went to hotel on the day and traveluro hadn't sent our booking to the hotel at all. Called customer service with international number with huge roaming cost and was told it would be rectified. Called again & Was told twice that an agent would call me back but no result. Stuck at hotel for last 3 hours waiting for their response. Not sure if I book another hotel in higher price now and have to follow them up for refund. Better to avoid them.
I used traveluro because they were the cheapest, and I completely regret it! I called to cancel and get a refund because my wife had emergency surgery and I could no longer make the trip. They only answered the phone one time then communicated with emails. I have since called them 40 times and no one will answer no matter what number I push for the automated service. Ridiculous that a company would block a customer! They stopped returning my emails and I ended up losing $200. This company is a complete scam and waste of your time! Do yourself a favor, and do not ever use traveluro no matter how cheap they are! I give them negative 5 stars!
I tried to book the same room within seconds of their "countdown" timer... saying... This price is reserved for X timer count down... but the site did not process my reservation because in "the small print" it says the price can change at any moment EVEN THOUGH... the timer says... Price is good for the next X minutes.

I spent 3 hours on the phone with the worst music ever. After that I was told a representative would reach out the the hotel. I called the hotel and they said not o ly did no one call bit they did not have an employee by the name.of Michelle. I called back again and a man answered the phone and 3 mins. Later hung up the phone. I'm calling my local and federal authorities to complaint. This is outrageous!
This was the worst experience, I've ever got with booking hotel. Booked hotel, got a decent rate, but realized it was for wrong date- when I have called them asking to move it- I was told it was non-refundable, even though it was within 5 min. Was told they will call hotel, investigate and possibly reimburse if hotel allowed--- never happened, noone has called hotel. Multiple follow ups.

Joke of a company, rates are not as advertised, claim the rooms are all booked at the hotel even though other rooms are still available, and then cancel the reservation after they've already taken your info and card number. Don't waste your time with this company.
Book with them if you dont need any support from issues that arise. 24/7 support number is a joke. If you want to be on hold for hours in case issues arise with your booking, i lost my credit cards at the airport and the hotel needed just for me to modify my reservation to my husbands name to be able to use his credit cards. No luck being able to make that simple change on the phone for hours never got to speak to anyone, not sure if they even have reps... stay away you will end up paying more.

I went with them, and I accidentally booked the wrong day, and even though it said they were no refunds, they still made a refund exception for me based on my situation. So they are fair to use, and their prices are actually legit and work for me.

I was worried after reading the other reviews but I assure you this is not a scam. We got a hotel room in Ottawa ON, which is normally 320 and we got it for $154. Last minute booking. I called the company to make sure all went through fine and they were kind and easy to talk to, answered calls and emails late into the evening.

Traveluro is illegally selling hotel plans through False Advertisement and lies. I had to pay in a 3 night plan, an extra 30% for "fees" that Traveluro don't let me know. I call to customer service and nobody take the phone. Be carefully, traveluro doesn't care the way how to sell even if it is an illegal way to do it
I booked through this site and ended up in a hotel that could not provide us with hot water. The hotel insisted that we had to speak with booking agency to receive a partial refund. We contacted Traveluro and there was no customer service, just an email response, stating that our reason for refund was not serious enough due to policies. Never again!

Wife and daughter stayed at the radisson hotel austin university, they do not tell you the hotel is under renovation, but no work was happening just disgusting. False 3 star, more like 1 star.

Traveluro seems to be the best deals for booking, however it also seems that they put fantastical numbers out their when they don't have that deal. I imagine that they then call the hotel and say I have a customer for you at whatever rate they gave. From several booking, they always come back with the same email answer, about 3 to 3.5 hours later.

The hotel has informed us that the booking you made at the rate at which you purchased it was booked by someone else just a few seconds before you.
We tried to find other rooms at the hotel at the same rate but unfortunately, there are no rooms available and we have had to refund you.
Then they offer you some money off your next hotel purchase, but that one comes back the same way.
3 days of booking a hotel spoiled by this going on. I am quite upset, just book through the other giants in the industry or direct.

I was on the phone 45+ min with them to cancel my booking, which was made WITHIN their deadline. I ultimately needed to escalate the request to a supervisor when the initial rep who answered refused to cancel and issue my refund, continuing to argue with me. Problem was their cancellation policy was contradictory and vague, yet their representative was attempting to enforce it (incorrectly) against me. Unbelievable. I normally do not write reviews but, here, I'll make an exception. This place was so bad that I feel like I need to save others from a terrible experience.
I asked for a modification to my reservation to accommodate a date change to the funeral I was hoping to attend. My check in date was on Thursday 12/21/23. I and my family needed Wednesday 12/20/23 to enable us to attend our loved one's funeral. We are traveling from GA and SC. We were told the modification could not be done. To cancel the reservation I would lose my money.
Additional fees that they don't disclose to you in the confirmation email - you only see it once you go to the booking page that there are additional payments that are expected to be made once you physically check in to the hotel. Customer service is a joke, talk in circles, declined my request for refund even though I called literally within minutes of booking. They also declined my request to speak to a supervisor, or even escalate the issue. Currently trying to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
You book a hotel rate that is 1/2 the price of other sites but then they refund/cancel you the next day for no reason but offer you $39 credit for the inconvenience. But also now have all your information and cc#. Seems a scam. Avoid.
I booked a hotel for me and my friend for one night in London but arrived to find out that the hotel had been closed for 6 months and was going to be closed for another 3 years. They did not 'guarantee' relocation and did not relocate us. Leaving us stranded in the middle of London with nowhere to stay and a flight the next day. We got a refund but were literally left sleeping on the streets. No compensation or concern for our safety/well being.
After I paid for my hotel reservation, I received an email and text messages confirming that my booking was complete and fully paid for. When I got to the hotel, it turns out there were hidden fees they hadn't included, nor had they notified me about them. I believe they withheld them from the original price to make their offer more competitive. This is misleading to say the least.

Booked a stay over a month in advance. Received confirmation when booked. Another 2 days before stay. Got to hotel and was told our reservation was cancelled. Called to get a refund. Now they literally must be screening my phone number, because they won't answer or respond to emails. Still no refund.
There are always problems, issues, and so on. Let me tell you all, I have not had an issue at all with them, though yes, the prices are the bare minimum, once you get to finish the reservation, it is a different story. +taxes, plus resort fees, but you get to pay all of those charges everywhere. I am happy. Well, I am traveling on the weekend, so it is not yet over hahahaha, but I called the Vegas Hotel and they confirmed.
Have never had a problem with booking agencies in the past and this was my first time using them and we needed to change our dates and I sent multiple emails and multiple calls and never got a hold of anybody and nobody reached out to me
I had never heard of this company and read some lousy reviews and wanted to add the good experience I had with them. I booked a hotel and everything went normal! I'll try to use them again as they had a considerably lower price than everyone else, even after I "tipped" them.
