I had the intention of booking one date, but somehow ended up with the wrong date.
I ended paying for the tickets without realising the wrong date.
I feel that something is wrong with their interface.

Never booking with this company again! Getting such conflicting information regarding my flights. Airline cancelled due to covid, got in touch with consumer service at least three times and they said that they were still scheduled. I called the airline who confirmed they were cancelled and told me I'd get a travel credit which would be valid until August 2021 for any flights with that airline. Two weeks later trip.com email to say the flight was cancelled. I called and they tell me that they will put in the request for the travel credit. They email me to tell me I can't get a travel credit but only an open ticket until Dec 2021. So I call to get that done and then they email me telling me it's only valid until January 3rd 2021. None of the customers service staff are on the same page. Absolutely shocking
This site continues to tell us they have corrected the issue HOWEVER we still cannot log in and select seats or verify our air travel and we are now down to, please a few hours before we to leave, go book directly with airlines! Hate to leave one star

I purchased train tickets to Busan from Seoul from trip.com but unfortunately I missed my train due to some unavoidable issues. I contacted them to ask if I could get a refund or exchange for the tickets but they said no. If I bought my tickets from Korail, I would be able to get a refund. I am very disappointed with trip.com and will never ever use their service. I suggest everyone not to purchase anything from their website.

I have been tried contacting trip.com for 3 days to get either full refund or voucher. Unfortunately, family member is covid positive. I am not getting either. Moreover, on cancellation as a refund I am getting just zero money. I am aware that everyone is either doing refund or giving voucher to be utilized for next year. This is a trap specially in covid times where the situation is not in our hand.

The airline moved my flight at a later departure. The airline said I'm eligible for free rebooking with no fare difference, but I have to let trip.com process it. Trip.com wants me to pay US$ 170 for rebooking. When I called the airline again, they said they shouldn't be charging extra for it. I called trip.com again but they insist I pay the difference or I will not be entertained. Don't use this app for booking anything. They offer trip coins that can be used for booking hotels and flights, but when I earned more by sharing trip moments, they restricted my account saying that my activity was suspicious. They just lure you with scams just to stay with their app. SAVE YOURSELF FROM STRESS and save more money by booking directly with the airline. Don't deal with these thieves.

Due to the whole covid and countries closing borders, we had to cancel our flight to Croatia. This company basically told us to go $#*! ourselves! No refund No credit whatsoever! They take your money and $#*! off. This company should NOT exist.
If you search for any accomodations worldwide with good prices, here you are right in place.

I wish I had read the reviews about this company before booking, they are money hungry, I called and cancelled my room in the right amount of time, now they are saying I can not get a refund. Because the 3rd party is responsible for saying yeah or Na on giving redfunds. They told me not to stay at the hotel if I want my refund, so I didn't, now they offering me 10% of $500 to satisfy my request instead giving me a full refund. They are scam artists, they keep blaming everyone, but they are actually in charge of refunding the money. Do not go thru them to save a few dollars it's not worth it.
We booked a flight through Trip.com with Allegiant Airlines. Within 24 hours we contacted the airline for cancellation and a full refund (in accordance with DOT regulations and airline policy). The airline told us (1) Trip.com had to make the request and (2) they did not input my contact information correctly so I could not be verified to the airline. I called Trip within the 24 hour timeframe and asked them to make the cancellation request (per the directions of the airline). Trip emailed the next day and said they were unable to get a refund as the flights "is not available". I called the airline, they have told me the flights were eligible for a refund, Trip.com is making me get a refund directly from Alegiant (which Allegiant can't do for the aforementioned reasons). We are at a loss and the Trip.com customer service has been beyond terrible.
I thought I was booking my hotel stay through Trip Advisor. Not so. When my dates for my trip changed by 1 (one) day, I tried to change the date. Instead I was told that I would have to pay a 98.00 charge for cancellation. The cancellation date wasn't until July 5. Today is July 2. It is obvious this company runs out of another country. I am contacting my credit card company in the morning. This is a fraudulent charge. DO NOT USE TRIP.COM. Total Scam Company. I don't have enough horrible language to describe their corrupt company

Tried to book a flight via trip.com and I got a call from them that the ticket can't be issued because of an unpaid flight from last year! I tried to book a flight with them last year but my card was rejected and I never got the ticket. They seriously now wanted to make me pay for a ticket they never issued a year ago! This business is fraud so please stay away!
I asked for a full refund due to the fact that the city in which I was flying had a Covid outbreak. They cancelled the outward ticket and failed to cancel the ticket coming back. I was later hit with a large cancellation fee and Trip.com blamed everyone but themselves.
Stay away from this place. There are so unhelpful I book a connecting flight from UK Manchester to Atlanta my Atlanta return flight was cancelled by jeBlue as a result of the Cancelation I would miss my return flight to UK. I contacted trip.com they offer zero help, and zero solution basically they leave me on my own to figure out my return to the UK. After I connected them on 4 occasions no help only generic emails. I have to pay for a separate flight costing me almost $300 in order to catch my UK connection. Stay away! This place is a shambles, total disgrace! They have responded to my review saying they contacted me, that is also a lie that is a copy and paste response they haven't contacted me to offer any solution.

Trip.com is a fraud agency. I booked my flight through it for Highsmile airlines from Kathmandu to Bangkok and Bangkok to Fukuoka but later, at the airport, I was told that I needed a transit visa as well for Thailand. I was not informed about the transit visa. I couldn't attend my business meeting in Japan. I talked with Trip.com and the airlines but they ignored it and never accepted their fault AND no complaints were heard. I think they are scammers and scam people.
This is pathetic and a terrible experience in my life. I am using online booking of flights for more than 10 years. It never happened. So irresponsible and scammers. There was No compensation for money and time.
Please never trust this site for flight booking as they are fraud.

I have not received my refund and probably will not. I have called and emails MANY times. This is the most awful experience I've ever had.

Despite numerous attempts to rebook a flight that was cancelled due to COVID and that I was told I could rebook until August 2022, this company constantly gave misinformation, is dishonest and continues to show they are unethical. Do not ever use Trip.com. Their system is to fail the customer. They gave me "flight credit" which I was only able to access over the phone, and they would not allow me to see the flights myself online. The service team would "apply" for the flights just to send an email to say they had been rejected after spending 30 minutes on the phone with them. After the 4th time of trying to use flight credit, I was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get it resolved and needed to be assertive and firm to get the flights re-instated. Complete waste of my time. Also, I went to cancel the flight - I cancelled it twice (once on the phone, once on email) to receive a 20% refund. They didn't issue the refund because I did not cancel for the third time through email. I will NEVER use a third party when booking flights ever again, especially Trip.com

Answer: Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience.
