My ticket was booked from Pakistan to Canada and explained I have Pakistani passport but as per my ticket I had to change my airport in London where I don't have UK visa, don't confirm my ticket without confirming my visa. Forget it, I cant aboard and ask to reschedule my ticket and get run around to call all the involved airlines and said " if they approve we will reschedule your ticket" knowing that they won't. What a BS answer to get rid of your customers!

Terrible service, book you on flights with not enough change over time only 1hr. Have been on the phone with them for days showing them they need to change our flights. On their website and airlines website it clearly states what change over time we need. They refuse to help you to change them, ignore the facts and cancel your request. Charge you for something they have done wrong and take up days of your time. And then on the phone tell you that its your fault and you've wasted your own time. Their the ones that are meant to sort our flights out for us. Would not use them again, say they will get you to your destination is not ture.

Never used Trip.com very bad customer service I ordered a flight to Bangkok and hotel in Bangkok, and another flight from Bangkok to the islands and my first flight got canceled because of the war in Israel and Trip.com doesn't want to refund, I recommend you use Booking.com, many of my friends got refound

Terrible Experience - Unreliable and Unprofessional

I've had the unfortunate experience of using trip.com not once, but twice, and both times were nothing short of disastrous. The second time around felt entirely unnecessary. They managed to sell me a reservation that simply did not exist. How is that even possible in the travel industry?

The ordeal didn't stop there. Dealing with their so-called 'customer service' was equally disappointing. It ranks as the most unprofessional customer service I've encountered among all similar travel agencies and services. During one instance, after a long flight, I was left waiting with my young children for a staggering 3 hours late at night.

Their inability to resolve even the simplest problems was baffling. Their default response seemed to be 'wait for 15/30 minutes,' which only added to the frustration. To make matters worse, they charged my account 2-3 times consecutively without providing any tickets.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, I highly recommend steering clear of this child-unfriendly and customer-unfriendly company. There are far better and more reliable travel services out there.

Complete and total shameless scam
July 22, 2022

I bought and paid flight ticket. In four days there is no email from Ttip.com, no booking number, confirmation or anything. No way to contact them, because every mail regarding them turns back saying email not found.
To call them the same. Now 3 days before my trip is due I had to buy new ticket and to pay more for it. I gave them 1 star, but they deserve Minus 1 Star. We are all witness of internet theft, but this is more than that because company still operates and surely scamming innocent costumers. Please take a look at their answer below... Helooooooooooo, I did not receive boking number. Every answer is the same with the fake email address

I was housesitting for my parents, they needed a caretaker, they were coming back so I booked a hotel, my mother got injured and could not travel, so they needed a housesitter caretaker again, I go to move my reservation to the next week thinking I'll get banged up for one or two days. They took the whole week, all of my money. This fee structure should be illegal, I am writing to my state rep my federal housewrap and my state senator to tell them of the predatory practices of this company and that if there's any business before the commerce committee of the house or the senate based on fraudulent business practices that this business should be on the list

Nobody Should use this service, it is not a service, it is a scam if anything happens and you need to change anything they will take all of your money

Imagine booking a flight home which gets cancelled by the airline, then you try to rebook it 4 times being denied every time. So you requests a refund and they charge you a cancellation fee for it and refuse to refund YOU... Then the supervisor Sidhaartha will not answer the phone to you after you have been trying to sort the issue for 3 months only with the excuse, sorry we cannot refund you your money of the cancelled flight and we will be keeping the cancellation fee from the flight that got cancelled on you. This is the service I have received from trip.com

Not even sure if this is a real site avoid it at all cost. You can not check in 20 hours before flight so they leave you with the option to check in at the airpot for £55. Useless costumer service no refound or explanation why you cant check in.

I booked a ticket from trip.com from Kathmandu to Sydney via Bangkok Airport. But it was not mentioned while buying ticket that I need Bangkok Visa in Kathmandu while collecting my Luggage in Bangkok Terminal so I was not let board my flight in Kathmandu and cannot catch my flight although I was in Kathmandu Airport 3 hours before my flight. So it's the fault of Trip.com for not giving transit visa information to me. And I cancelled my flight and asked for my refund with Trip.com. But they did not give me any refund of my money. So Trip.com is robbing lots of customers like me and their online site should be banned and Blacklisted from selling Airfare Tickets in the world. And should be taken to COURT ACTION against Trip.Com soon as possible before they rob other customers and should refund all money those who cannot travel due to misleading info. Sujeeb Swar

Nightmarish experience

Imagine being stranded IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY after receiving notice about a delayed/changed flight, and then being told you have to make a transfer yourself.

Then calling the service hotline and being told that you will receive reimbursements for the transfer flight that you book, as you are making a self transfer.

That's good customer service as far as I'm concerned... Until the nightmare begins

-Finding out later that you will only receive a fraction of the flight cost.
-Learning that call records were deleted and you can no longer verify what you were told by customer service
-Multiple back and forths to make your case, falling on deaf ears

It's not a pretty situation, and it only gets more distressing. Would not recommend for Personal Holidays. Would not even recommend for Corporate Bookings. Just book elsewhere

My partner booked flights that were cancelled due to COVID back in 2020, they gave her credits and told her she could only rebook with the original airline. We have been trying to get them to rebook the flights for over 2 years now and nothing. Whenever we contact them they tell us theres nothing they can do, in fact they want more money. We think we have lost all our money, due to something that was totally out of our control and was totally the airline and Trip.com fault.

During Covid I purchased a ticket on Ethiopian Airlines through Trip.com. The was cancelled but when I asked for a refund, I was given the run around. Airlines blamed Trip.com and vice versa. Eventually the airline did extend the ticket to December 2021. Unfortunately, I didn't need it as I was already in China as I bought a ticket through Air China which was the only airline flying into China. Also couldn't fly anywhere else as I was working and it was still Covid. So I lost my money! My advice: do not buy airline tickets through an agent, go directly to the airline!

Mistake for choosing trip.com

Terrible service! I made a mistake on my booking and within 2 minutes right after payment was made i contacted them, but instead it just get it coorected, it drags on with reschedule fee and next day a call with ridiculous admin fees all addtional cost just keep adding in gaining more business, where in the first place before airline even release the ticket, they could have helped and cancelled that booking.

All attempt to explain the customer service team just go wasted with nothing that came back, and worse even asking me to proof back of the communication where they them selve have acknowledge over the phone conversation the time i submit my request is 11.37am and the time ticket was issues was 11.47am… 10 mins waste to no action from them, and putting me to still pay the full amount.

Till today i still do not get my refund and they keep claiming the policy is non refundable. So remember,, avoid this trip.com!

They charged me double when the airline I booked through them cancelled the flight. I paid them for the original cancelled flight, then I re-booked another flight, all on their APP using their cancelled flights protocalls. Then they charged me for both flights plus "cancellation" fees. They refused to resolve this and I lost $400+ USD. DO NOT USE... they are unethical and dishonest!

I booked flights to Sydney Australia at Trip.com with extras en case of emergency, so I just had and emergency situation so I needed to change my tickets or get a refund. I have been on the phone for 2 DAYS talking to customer service and also emailing showing the right documentation and everytime I talk to them I get different answers, every customer service agent says something different, no supervisor shows up to help, the company doesn´t take resposability for their own products they sell, I get different responses everytime and by now most likely I will loose my mone. This is the first time I use trip.com and will be my last. DON´T USE THEM, GET YOUR TICKETS WITH ANOTHER COMPANY, AWFUL EXPERIENCE

One month ago, I bought 7 tickets from Trip.com for my annual family trip to Lombok Indonesia. This is the first time and for sure the last time I am dealing with them. Not only the tickets I bought are none refundable but trip.com can not even fix a simple mistake, such as a name typo. I accidentally typed "h" as "n" in one of my family member's name. Got frustrated dealing with them, I went to China Airline ( a Taiwanese airline not Air China)office locally and told them my story. ThE airline made an exception for me, only charged me $50 to make it right. That's how you call a good customer service. On many phone calls with trip.com representatives kept telling me everything will be taken care of. Guess what? They took care of nothing. Good thing I didn't buy their story and called China Airline directly to get the bottom of this. Now, My trip on 2/11 is fast approaching I need to call Air Asian Indonesia to get their story if trip.com lied to me saying they fixed the typo with Air Asian Indonesia. Oh, by the way, I am very disappointed of Skyscanner and Kayak too. I have been using them all these years and all the time. Why they even let trip.com and kiwi.com to be part of their booking agents. Didn't they do their due diligence for their clients? I didn't check trip.com before using their service because of the reputable Skyscanner. Well, lesson learned. Now I can only hope for the trip will take place as planned. Wen Wu

They charged us $345 for an early cancelation because we had noticed there was a 1 letter typo on the ticket name. They made us wait 1 week to validate they could not change the name on the ticket and told us to cancel and find another flight and still charged us $345 for the cancelation after telling us to wait. They just want your money they dont care how they get it. Dont use this company it is scammy, thieving, and absolutely deserves every explitive in the English and American English dictionary.

I was looking at several hotels for New Year's Eve. I found a very nice one but had to go through trip.com. I booked the room and got a confirmation number. I decided to call the hotel just to confirm that I had a room and they said that they were booked for New Year's Eve. They told me that I was scheduled for January 12th! I would not even be in the state on that day. I emailed trip.com and they tell me that I scheduled a hotel for December 1st. When I tried to make a reservations it was on December 30th. How could I book a hotel room for a date that has already passed?! This place is a scam. Contact your bank and get your money back oh. I'm hoping I can get mine back.
