Do not go to this store. Awful customer service, incompetent staff who look like they dont give a crap. Had 3 online orders " disappear " and countless wrong and beyond scratched discs. They also offer appalling prices for buying off you sometimes making a 3000% profit.
Please don't purchase items from this company, especially phones. They're faulty and getting a refund is impossible without paying for legal assistance. They ignore the law and their customer service doesn't exist.
Discriminates against disabled people, all that matters are their own stupid, non inclusive and down right discriminatory in-store policies...
Came up with all kinds of excuses not to honour the warranty and left a kid with needs heartbroken, absolutely disgraceful operation!
Best avoided
Profiteering from a 13-year old whose XBox developed a fault whilst under warranty is the most disgusting behaviour a company could show. They should feel absolutely ashamed of their immoral activities. One day karma will serve justice on CeX and their deceitful policies.
Truly cannot understand how this business continues to function.
Called at a store in Leigh Lancashire today with the complete James Bond series in a metal presentation box set, all flawless DVD's watched once. Purchased for me as a gift for over £100.
I was completely stumped when the store offered me £4.
That equated to 20 pence per DVD.
I have since researched on line and the same product is selling on both Amazon and eBay for between £40 and £75.
Do yourselves a favour and sell your goods privately.
Do not waste your time going into one of these shops, id give them no starts, complete crap, rude arrogant kids no one over the age of 25, Rip off merchants give you a pittance if they actually accept your items in the first place, then sell them for more then double what they gave you. They over price everything they sell, and then they will refuse to buy some things in store that in mint condition even though their website shows they buy and sell the item so false advertising. There Head office don't deal with complaints or seem interested, company is a complete joke do not shop or sell there, they should be closed down.
I work abroad i bought an Samsung Galaxy s7 for a work phone witch was broke and kept ending my important calls so i returned it after a week as you do only to be told because its out of the two day warranty there is nothing they can do made a formal complaint to head office to be told the same thing don't buy from this company if your item breaks and you spend £200+ like me your well and truly out of pocket even with my receipt.
My son who has autism saved his pocket money to buy a PSP, he was excited to get his new console from CEX a store he loves going in. Sadly the console did not work properly the on screen keyboard did not register certain keys, I thought it would be a simple case of returning the item for a refund or replacement, but no, we had to wait an hour for an "inspection" after which it was concluded the item was fine, on returning home it was evident it wasn't fine and we had been robbed for a second time.
It is beyond me how this store gets away with the nonsense that it does, it sells second hand non-working tat for more than a brand new item, they refuse people their consumer rights, and rip off disabled children, they really are lower than low.
If you want broken rubbish that you can't return then by all means buy from cex, but my advice would be avoid at all cost.
Dropped off a phone for sale and after nearly 48 hours, they neither got in touch nor provided suitable updates for anything, without making the agreed payment. You're better off pawning your stuff on the street.
I'm sure the waiting game is so people die of old age before getting a reply.
I've been sen damaged goods and incomplete goods. I've returned them to the store instead of posting them back and lo and behold they appear for sale again both online and in store.
Customer service doesn't care, they will do everything they possibly can to make sure you keep hold of the rubbish you are sold so they can keep your money.
Just think the next time you buy something that doesn't work it may have already been returned several times.
The worst company out there, do yourself a favour, don't ever use them
Answer: Go to resolver.co.uk and make a complaint against CeX, they will take it more seriously
Answer: B grade should mean operational but will have visible signs of use, I would avoid and buy on ebay probably get a nearly new one that hasn't been through the hands of muppits
Answer: Unlocked simply tells you whether or not a product is open to all networks or locked to a specific one. For example, if a product states EE/Virgin/3 then it will be locked to that specific network, if however it says unlocked or any network you are able to put any service provider into that product. The A and B seen in the product description is a way pf grading the phone and stating what condition it is considered to be in. A grade is the best grade possible for a phone/table/laptop/camera. This means that it should be immaculate and have all of its original accessories. B grade is considered used and may have some general wear and tear marks, which will not affect the usage pf the product. It may not have its original accessories but will come with anything that is required to allow use the product properly.
