The desk I bought was of top quality in all aspects and Danielle Breed promptly answered all the hard questions I had about their materials.
I never write reviews for products but I felt compelled to for the outstanding quality and customer service of Uplift.
I was able to fully customize my desk on Uplift's easy to use website. The customizing process was simple and straightforward and offered a ton of features and options. The ordering process was simple and the price point for the quality received was very good. Yes it's more expensive than knock-down or ikea desk, but well worth it for the quality.
The shipping was fast, even for the custom top that I ordered.
The packaging was extremely well thought out. Too often, ordering something large or heavy online will result in a dinged or damaged product. The main pieces had double layer corrugation with additional air gap and foam around them. The corners were very will protected by extra thick cardboard. These could certainly survive even the roughest of deliveries.
The assembly was time consuming which is the only negative, however it is probably the most sturdy piece of furniture that I own. It's certainly the sturdiest thing I've ever assembled out of a box. It was well worth the time it took. The instructions were thorough and easy to follow. It wasn't difficult to assemble, it just took some time.
After completing my desk, found myself wanting a few more accessories for cable management. Specifically I wanted acoustic side panels for behind my monitor. However the website didn't sell the side panels without the main panel. I connected with the chat bot on a Saturday expecting to 'talk' to a robot. I was delighted and surprised when I was greeted with a real person, Danielle Breed, who gave me a custom quote for the pieced that I needed! Danielle sent the quote to my email and even followed up with me personally to confirm a billing item and then to provide tracking.
My desk is all set up now and I couldn't be happier! I really did not expect to love an office furniture company so much but Uplift consistently went above and beyond in every way. I would recommend an Uplift Desk to anyone looking for a desk.
TL;DR: ordered a desk 2 years ago, lost a small part in the move, customer support specialist (Steven B) was able to figure everything out and get my part shipped within 2 working days.
I want to start off by saying the quality of the actual products by Uplift Desk is impeccable. I'm a pretty handy/tech savvy person but a sit/stand desk was something I'd never worked with before. My desk, monitor arms, grommets, power cords and everything else were packaged well with clear instructions and I got everything set up with 2 mounted monitors and 2 power grommets plus the cable management in about 2 hours, most of that time being cable management and making adjustments to the monitor height/angle which was super simple. My review is actually coming about 2 years after my purchase though because of an interaction I just had with their Support team. I moved recently and was far too optimistic, thinking if I wrapped everything tight enough I could have the desk (minus the actual monitors) moved with the monitor arms still installed. I'm sure it's no surprise to anyone reading this but that didn't work and I had to quickly scramble and gather all the parts of the arms and mounting equipment mid-move, shove them in a shopping bag and go. When reassembling the desk in the new house, I got about 80% of the way in when I decided to put up the arms, realizing I was missing a piece from the mount. There's a metal piece on the clamp that holds it secure underneath the desk and I couldn't track it down so my entire install was halted. I couldn't find the part online so I went out on a limb and reached out to Uplift, asking if I could buy that particular part but fully expecting to have to buy a whole new mount. I received a super quick response the next day (I emailed on a weekend) ready to help. The Specialist I spoke with, Steven B, was awesome from start to finish. As I write this it's mid-day Tuesday and we're expecting my part to be on the way by tomorrow, far sooner than I expected! Steven made sure to confirm the part I needed, my shipping address since it had changed since my original order, and everything else. He got back to me as soon as he was able to confirm they had the part and instead of paying the $100+ I was prepared to spend on a whole new mount, I spent barely over $10 for only what I needed and had a great experience throughout. Hopefully Steven's boss gets to see this- I'm a former manager for Customer Support and he's definitely a gem! Some people just know how to empathize and make the customer feel confident that they'll be taken care of and I definitely felt that way. Thank you Uplift Desk, thank you Steven!

I have to leave this review, because I've never had such a great experience with any customer service rep from any company before.
Steven B. From Uplift Desk was the most helpful, prompt, and friendly representative I've spoken to. After having called, live chatted, and emailed with probably 7 agents from Uplift, all of whom were professional, Steven B still completely stood out – and again, among all reps I've had to contact about orders from other companies.
My return request was a bit more complicated, since there were 2 orders for different attachments for a keyboard tray system, but he completely understood the situation and my request, and was also so courteous and kind on the phone. (Usually, most agents sound like they're reciting from a script or are not really nice). On top of that, I was asking for an unusual request, but he didn't just reject it outright and say that's not company policy or something. Steven said he'd look into what might be possible in this scenario, sent me a confirmation email promptly (again something I usually always need to ask for or check back on later), and even followed up with me the first thing the next day. And right after I got back to him.
Other Uplift Desk agents have been professional and not robotic, but they usually take a few days to respond, meaning I've had to do the work of checking back in and creating reminders for myself to do that, which is work and extra time.
I've had to talk to several agents for this keyboard tray system order that was ultimately easy to mount, like most of their products, but for me it unfortunately didn't work with my footrest and unadjustable armrests, which I was bummed about. But it would've been really annoying if I didn't get a refund for all this work and time spent on this system, and I'm very relieved I luckily got connected to Steven when I called.
As an editor, I find Uplift desks are awesome (prob the best?), and all their attachments are simple and great (though some things are a bit overpriced even if they're high quality and durable), but this last customer service experience with Steven has made me definitely want to get other desk accessories, despite the price for some things, because I know if something ends up not working for my setup, then I don't have to worry about dealing with inefficient, unfriendly, difficult customer service.
Often I do a lot of research on options before buying to avoid having to deal with any of that. Sometimes it's hard to even talk to a real person these days, with chat bots and AI. Very glad also Uplift isn't going that route (their live chat is actually really good).
Just very happily surprised there are customer service agents out there who truly want to help you AND excel at their job. Unfortunately, a very hard combo to find.

Answer: Very easy, as others have said. Avalon was available immediately via chat and also helped with quotes etc from her personal email. A nice change from the typical bots most sites have!
