VW website is very good, although like many sites is too packed with stuff which makes it confusing to find what you want. As for their service, it is superior. I left VW after 15 years to go to Sprint. OMG! I was miserable. Screw Sprints $69 for everything! VW may be expensive, their taxes and fees tack on $20+ to an average bill but its worth it! I'm sticking with Verizon Wireless.
I agree 100 percent. Verizon overcharged and fraudulently charged hidden fees. The bill is never the same and continuously goes up in price. Offers promotions, gets you in, then bang you don't get what's promised. They'll have a different account representative call you, get you in, then suddenly you can't contact your "account representative " ever again.
It was a pain today to backup, upload and download my text messages to print out for court purposes for a lawsuit unrelated to Verizon. But when Verizon is impending my ability to use their internet service for court because their internet service is nearly unusable, despite paying $140 per month, is when Verizon will be held accountable in the court of law also. PS; everyday for about a month I been needing to restart my device just to get some usable internet speed for a few minutes before the speed is right back to usable 1 or 2 mbps.
Verizon is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my lifetime. I have had 2 new phones I. 3 1/2 weeks and neither phone has worked for phones calls. Let me repeat that... No one has been able to reach me by phone calls for 3 1/2 weeks. I am
Also not able to call anyone. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY
As a promotion to become a new customer, Verizon gave me a $10 gift card to Applebees. There was no purchase required for this promo.
After activating card plus calling Verizon to confirm the card was activated, my girlfriend and I went to Applebee's on New Years Eve for dinner.
Upon paying our bill, I gave the waitress the gift card. The waitress came back and informed me there were no funds on the card!
This was quite embarrassing. I will never use Verizon, they cannot even honor their own gift card!
Horrible internet, slow as hell. Only thing they're good at is cell service they suck at everything else.
Fraud company. I was not in US, I didn't avail their services. They denied to give my security deposit of $125. Me without availing services and not even activating Auto Pay, they used my whole money for paying bills for the months I wasn't using their services. And denied to refund back

I'd had AutoPay on my Verizon acct since July 2022. Out of the blue I recd a text msg saying they hadnt received my payment. And to pay immediately or my service would be disconnected.
I've been on chats with 3 different reps at Verizon (Alex, Sky, and April). I've gone to online and gone through the steps … 3 times, yet I continue to receive messages from Verizon warning that I could be disconnected.
Nobody can help w/ my issue.
I'm going to Consumer Cellular & others to check their plans.
I am so frustrated.

Call customer service and after waiting on hold for and hour it hung up. 3 differant times so I went to a store and was told I have to call the 800 #. So after trying 3 more times I finally get through just to be told NO you have to go to a local verizon store for this. And you guessed it! When I went back was told the same BS. I will be canceling their service completely! And all I was attempting to do was let my nephew transfer his phone off of my account to his own so now they lose both lines!
I ordered a phone case from them and I received the wrong tracking number afterwards I received a text telling me my address is wrong when I know it's not. Tried contacting customer support and they want you to have a phone number with them or it hangs up on you. Will be contacting the BBB.
Tip for consumers:
I'll never use it again as their employees obviously can't do their jobs right and I suggest you do the same.

We have been Verizon customers for over 20 years. We just switched to an unlimited plan. With our previous plan, we had a 20% discount based on my employer. When we switched over, the associate said I just had to contact a number (that he gave me) and the person answering could instate the discount to my new plan. I called the number and the very considerate and helpful person said that that plan did not have the 20% discount. She went out of her way to try to find discounts (none). She gave me a phone number for the complaint department. I called. With each question, the representative took several seconds to respond and often did not answer my question. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told someone would call me back immediately. That was yesterday - not calls. I was also told if I went back to my old plan, I MIGHT be able to get the previous discount. I can no longer recommend Verizon to my friends or family.

I have been dealing with Verizon billing after canceling my service for over two months now. I've called three times to have my bill adjusted, (prorated) with no results they keep sending the same un-adjusted bill, promising that it will be corrected. Plus, just try to find the right number to call. Good luck. Now, they are telling me that they don't prorate the bill. DO NOT USE VERIZON. They continue to give me the runaround on this issue. Folks are nice on the phone, but they don't keep case notes, so follow-on calls start from scratch and its your word against theirs what was said on previous calls. There is no consistency in quoting policies apparently.
Tip for consumers:
DONT use verizon

I switched to Verizon before becoming a truck driver cause of needing more nationwide service. Well all was greatand dandy till this 5G Crap came out, and staffing reduction. Very few corporate stores anymore, and limited times for Actual customer service (you have to call cause the stores, unless a corporate one, are very limited to what they can do) so long wait times on the phone or at a retail store franchise. I paid off my Galaxy S10 and all hell broke loose. Constant dropped calls, phone lag and freezing, no service in areas suddenly, and the phone was only 2 years old. So I upgraded to the S21 under a promotion. Well same crap minus the phone lag and freezing. Horrendous 5G service. Absolute garbage. 4 G is way faster and no, on Android you can't turn off 5G. May be locked not sure. But its very annoying. Close to full bars on 5G and can't get photos to load properly on some apps.
If I had known my landline telephone would only last for an hour during a power outage I would have never fallen for this trap. Call to cancel landline phone to save money and the bill went up. Technician that installed unit drilled into wall and through electrical supply needing electrician to restore power by cutting hole into my ceiling to restore power. Keep getting upgrades new dvr box, wireless tower. How about some new remote controls? Had to look up on YouTube on how to silence annoying alarm that would go off at 2am warning you to replace backup battery for landline telephone. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and purchase an Amazon Firestick and set yourself free from overpriced cable TV.
Customer Service is HORRIBLE and has gone downhill over the yrs. If you call, they try to get you to accept a call back or get you to text an agent or bot. The text agent is always confused and slow and the call back never answers you when you pick up. It just disconnects and you'll have to call back and wait anyway. Then, once you get an actual human, they'll lie about resolving your issues. I'm canceling my line today :)
I've been a Verizon customer nearly 20 years. At one time they were excellent in customer service and technology. However, I'm about to leave them. In one day seeking an answer to a seemingly simple question, "why do you send a message a new phone will be delivered in 2 days, when you know that is possible because Fedex doesn't deliver on Sun. Or Mon.? A a result I was immediatelt told not to yell, I'm hard of hearing, and the csr became rude. I asked to speak to a supervisor who ended up implying I was a lier, admitted Verizon lied about the delivery and hung up on me. Good bye Verizon, no one calles me a lier!
For starters, this review is for anyone thinking about or looking into using verizonwireless.com for online bill pay and or account maintenance.
I have used verizon wireless as a cell provided for the last 3 years. I use this website to pay my verizon bill and maintain my services and plan features. I have upgraded and changed my phone online, I have changed my plan features and I have used this every month to pay my cell bill.
I have never had any problem with anything on their website and any time I needed customer service help I have been able to get that right online.
I think they are a great company and maintain a well run website.
Verizon's sim chip failed in my iPhone 12 Mini today and they proceeded to cut off my wife's phone (so I couldn't verify my account) and then customer service trolled me for two hours about validating who I was from my wife's phone on our account (the one they also switched to an E sim without being requested to). All in all, I've spent 7 hours today trying to resolve my connectivity issues for both our phones. After driving to the local Verizon store which was closed due to staffing issues (can't verify myself or my phones, door closed, not in operation) I was forced to go to a third party Verizon store to get my wife's phone turned back on and sim sorted. My phone never reconnected, even with a new 4g physical sim chip installed and the phone wiped.
Verizon on Palatine road. Bought 2 new phones from Armondo, overcharged us and now it's 4.5 months later and still trying to get my bill fixed. Gave me this Hun thing which I never used and now want $50. Called over 12 times, no return. Then Dist. Mgr. Javier sent me a note to call him and we'd work it out. Called him twice. No return. Then, because I would not pay the overcharges, they shut my phones off. Had to scream, yell and swear and still nothing done. Finally got my phones on, then was told not to come back. NO PROBLEM! Still want there money. Not going to happen.
We were without internet on and off since August. We have had no internet since October 15th and they could care less. They outsource their complaint department to oversees and these representatives will tell you anything ti give you the impression your problem is being escalated. They say all the notes in the system will passed on only to call the next day and there is no record of your call! All these representatives work from home so there is no way to reach them to verify the previous conversation. All customer service will do is give you credit for the days you didn't have any service, which by the way, is what they are required to do by law! They will do nothing for your inconvenience and they are rude! Use any other carrier out there besides Verizon!
Tip for consumers:
Never do business with Verizon they do not care about you as a person at all.

Received this communication today from my new carrier.
Checking in here, Joshua, we have an issue with phones that are from Verizon and transferring to T-Mobile.
"T-Mobile was made aware that some T-Mobile customer's IMEIs are being blocked on Verizon."
We are currently working with Verizon to have the IMEI unblocked. Also, the previous rep already filed a ticket regarding this. Here is the details:
Don't trust their map indicating where5G is available. We were squarely in their zone for 5G, but don't even get LTE. A 5G device without 5G drains your new battery, and iPhone 13 pro is no faster than my iPhone 5S.
Horrible customer service in the store, as well. Poor selection of phones.

I've been trying to get a copy of my last bill called 2 times they said they send out never got a bill I refuse to pay them till I see.the bill I have tried log in to my account and use my password and it won't log me in ends up locking my acount
For 3+ years I had been carefully saving voicemails from my mom who died 2 yrs ago of severe alzheimer's, 6 months after she lost her ability to communicate. Recently I had decided to switch to a different, more affordable carrier (Consumer Cellular - 5 points!) and had gone to the Verizon store to pay off my phone so I could switch. I had had only one question for them - "would I lose anything on my phone?" The employee who had been introduced to me as being in training reassured me, saying "oh no, you won't lose anything." Fast forward to the next day - imagine my horror when I checked my voicemail box only to find that after carefully pressing 9 to save for almost 4 years, they had been deleted in a Verizon Guillotine Instant! It felt like her ashes had been stolen from me - all the grief of her death came rushing back like a tidal wave...
Shame on you Verizon, Megalomaniacal Vampire of Capitalism! I hope you choke on Yahoo!
I am very upset with Verizon at this moment, which is why I am reaching out to the corporate office. I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years & I have Fios since 2007. I went on a birthday trip this past January 2024 on a cruise to the Caribbean. I called Verizon before I left for my trip asking what I should do so that I would not have a huge phone bill when I got home. I was told that I could pay an additional $ 10.00 a day to have internet, data, & make phone calls. When I got home there was a phone bill of 707.83, I called & was very upset about this bill. I was told several times that there was nothing they could do. I spoke to a supervisor and was told that he was going to take care of this bill. Time went by & I never heard back about. I had to keep calling over & over again asking about this bill. I kept getting the run around over this bill. I am out of contract & I will take my business elsewhere. I dont need to stay with verizon & $ 700.00 is almost half of my paycheck & I can't afford a 700.00 phone bill however Verizon can afford to absorb this cost. This is on verizon and not me because I did my do diligence and called ahead to ask these questions. I was never told I should not make calls in the middle of the Ocean because of the international charges. I am VERY FRUSTRATED with your company & I am writing to voice my disappointment and I WILL BE TAKING ALL OF MY BUSINESS TO ANOTHER CARRIER.
I cancelled my Verizon Account and joined Spectrum because my cellphone bill was almost $80. Spectrum is almost $30 per month. Verizon charged me an extra month (a month that I was with Spectrum). Verizon turned the amount due (that I did not owe) against my credit. My credit took a hit, but I am going to make an official complaint and take Verizon to court. I have had Spectrum for a few months and I have had no interruptions in my service. I give Spectrum 5 STARS. My only regret is that I wish I had cancelled Verizon years ago!
I would leave zero stars if possible. We have been with Verizon for 18 years; why did we stay so long? Worst customer service ever. You can't talk to someone and if you ever do and they transfer your call to a supervisor, YOU WILL GET DISCONNECTED! They don't care. Management doesn't care. We're done today. And by the way, don't go to the Johnstown, Ohio store and deal with the manager Camry Todd. She doesn't have a clue!
