VW website is very good, although like many sites is too packed with stuff which makes it confusing to find what you want. As for their service, it is superior. I left VW after 15 years to go to Sprint. OMG! I was miserable. Screw Sprints $69 for everything! VW may be expensive, their taxes and fees tack on $20+ to an average bill but its worth it! I'm sticking with Verizon Wireless.
I agree 100 percent. Verizon overcharged and fraudulently charged hidden fees. The bill is never the same and continuously goes up in price. Offers promotions, gets you in, then bang you don't get what's promised. They'll have a different account representative call you, get you in, then suddenly you can't contact your "account representative " ever again.
Poor Customer Service Verizon! I left Metro PCS for this? Going back as soon as I can...I came in the store to purchase one type of phone. Salesman was able to convince me into getting another phone instead; stated the one I wanted wasn't in store. Not till later I realized I was paying more that I originally planned. Phone had issues within 1st 3 months and I was given a replacement free of charge. Now replacement phone will not keep charge, and I'm being told I have to pay to get the phone repaired. I asked for a replacement since the issue is not my fault, phone is kept in great condition. Was told since the warranty has expired I will have to pay, however customer service rep won't give me a price range on repairs. Phone isn't keeping charge and loses the charge it manages to get whenever I unlock it to do anything. What a MAJOR WASTE of money. Why give your customers a hard time, when you can treat them good and have loyal customers for a lifetime? Your loss Verizon. Leaving your company at the first opportunity, which at this point has to be when the phone is paid of, regardless if phone still works or not. They are not offering a replacement phone as an option. I think verizon wireless has good 4g lte but any ways 1 i did not like the coustmer servise and i dont own a cell phone threw them all though i do run off the cdma 4g lte network i asked them g question and they hung up on me thats just mean 2 even if you call verizon wireless you get this recorded messege not a live person at that store so if you even had a ask them any thing dont call cuzz they may hang up on you so if i were you just go bye the store and ask what ever you have to ask and yes there cdma 4g lte is good prices on some plans are way up there hope this was some what helpful.
All the cell phone companies have their problems. And I have come up against some of them over the years. But if you are ' reasonable ' with them, and treat them with respect, well you can get some benefits in your favor. I just got my upgrade phone from Verizon. They have an upgrade fee, well all the cell phone companies do, of $30. I thought after 12 years of being a customer they could help me out and not charge me that fee... Yes I resigned up for 2 years, I was expecting that. But after talking very nice to the Verizon staffer, she put me on hold and talked with her supervisor and they gave me 10% off my bill for 12 months which ended up being $18 more off than the $30 fee. So they said they had to charge that fee, but gave me a good customer discount to make it better for me. I am happy with the coverage and service. The only thing with Verizon I do not like is the website they have accounts in - I think it is not very user friendly.
Over all, they are pretty good to work with these last 12 years...

I was with Verizon for over 10 years, and the service has progressively gotten worse! They are notorious for throttling data, slow downloads, Dropped Calls, Substandard cell phone equipment, and finally inadequate customer service to handle and fix problems. THEY ARE WORSE THAN THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES!
I have had Verizon for over 5 years. At one point I told everybody Verizon was the absolute best. About 2 years ago Verizon turned into the worst phone company in my area. As soon as they went to 5G all my phone ever does is buffer and drop phone calls. I absolutely hate Verizon an absolutely nobody should get service with them. They knew their service was horrible so they tried to trick people into staying with them. Never before did they offer a long-term customer half off a brand new phone. Those kind of deals were only for new customers. They recently started offering this to their current customers. This was just the way to lock you into a contract since you're not in a contract with them. Yes they obviously got me with a new phone and half price if you make payments for 18 months. If you pay off the phone early you have to pay for it and full. Well sure was a great way to keep customers with you that want to leave. I am one of those customers that is stuck with Verizon but I am tired of it and I am going to pay this phone off and give them all of their money just to be able to walk away from them! Stay away from Verizon if you go with this service I promise you will regret it!

Verizon unlimited prepaid is like having 2G super slow, I just found out they use CDM like Sprint and not GSM like Tmobile. I hate Sprint and now I hate Verizon. Only good thing is I can get service better inside buildings and in areas Tmobile can't but super slow. Like Sprint Verizon is using a tactic to force you to upgrade spend more. Also as soon as I switched to Verizon I began receiving a lot of telecommuting calls and from different callers who also have Verizon. After nearly 20 years as a business customer we switched our phones service to a platform that is more compatible with what we needed for our office and patients. Apparently, Verizon states on 6TH PAGE of the 7 PAGE BILL when your renewal is coming up and if you do not reply within 60 days they automatically renew it for 2 YEARS! The supervisor, Tanesha, was no help what so ever. Although this is legal, it is quite the gray area.

Verizon customer service used to be good. At most, I'd wait 5 minutes and have a real live person assist me with any inquiries. Now, it takes about 10 minutes to go through Verizon's useless automated message system that tries to convince you that talking to a robot will solve all your problems. This is Verizon's way of cutting down costs and wasting your time. Now not only does Verizon waste your time by having you wait at 40 minutes-1 hour to get a live person on the phone but they also waste your time through their outdated backward website. It appears that their website has not been updated since the 90s. Case in point: you cannot manually delete any saved credit card payment on your account You have to wait for a "random" time period and their system will erase those cards stored. I'm trying to get a hold of a person to fix this problem as the automated person gave me their phone number to their financial services. So far I've wasted about 1.5 hours on this and who knows how long it will take to solve this problem. So much for automation and efficiency. Clearly Verizon is not efficient and needs to get with the times.It's clear to me though that they don't care about that either. The executives want to just fill in their pockets. We are commoners to them.
Nice employees unable to do much with their company's terrible products. Avoid any 'perks' - Verizon elevates their prices to make their offers seem reasonable (Apple One cheaper with Apple; Streaming channels cheaper with their own sites than thru Verizon). Hours and hours spent attempting to access their offers, use their website, work with store employees to NO AVAIL.

I just finished an appalling Live Chat session where a) approximately 10 minutes passed before human contact was made - with minimal efforts to let me know how long the wait would be - and when I got to a live person, 10 minutes more elapsed before I just threw up my hands and gave up. How complicated was my issue? All I was looking for was to identify the time of day I called a specific number last Thursday. Is that so complicated that it couldn't be answered in 20 minutes? Or, maybe, is it an indicator that Verizon views its customers as irritants to be put up with between billing cycles? Moreover, they don't even provide an option for customer feedback on their website. Do you honestly believe they care a bit about anything other than your check clearing? They should thank their lucky stars that the dirt balls in the Republican party share their disdain for customers. Don't believe me? Wait til you see what happens without Net Neutrality

I've been a Verizon customer for about 2 year's now and the service has gotten worse by the month I've never been with a carrier that throttles your internet speeds down to the point you can't even open Instagram without it taking five minutes to load pictures and if you want to watch a video your definitely going to need about 30 minutes to watch a video that's less than a minute, I have the highest data plan they offer and this is the results take my advice don't waste your money and unless you live directly on top of a 5g tower don't expect to get 5g because Verizon is probably 10 years behind in covering major cities and another 30 years behind reaching rural areas

I was having problems with AT&T so I went over to the Glastonbury Verizon store and dealt with a woman named Rachel who does not know her $#*! from her elbow. She told me that stuff was free and then I got billed for it. She also told me that there was no time limit that I could bring my devices back in for a trade-in. I have a devices with me two times she said don't worry about it we can do it anytime. Also I signed up for a paper bill to be delivered to my house every month, when I haven't been receiving the bills I contacted Verizon and they told me they could send them to me but I would have to pay for them. Why should I have to pay for something that I signed up for if Rachel doesn't know how to her job properly? Then I'm informed that I only have 30 days, And that time period is already up. Verizon added $200 to my bill a couple of months ago and still no exclamation as to why. I really wish this review had zero stars because that's what they deserve for the customer service and their ability to help.

If I could give them less than one star I would I called to inquire about getting service cellphone service through them I have been with T mobile 31 years I paid $95 a month unlimited they told me it would be $55 a month no hidden charges no activation costs or fees. They said they would, on my behalf contact T mobile to cancel my account and transfer the line...none of that happened in fact the bill was a $136 a month hidden fees activation charges after that it would be $95 a month which is exactly what I pay with T mobile., meanwhile they never closed my T mobile account so I'm in $221.05 for T mobile a $136 for Verizon that's$ 360 plus dollars to save $40 a month and I wasn't saving anything at all.
But most importantly it's the time it took to try to straighten everything out on both carriers ends. The time away from my life my family...the distress waiting on hold an hour and 32 minutes getting people who dont care. You can never get back time is priceless! So, I'm sticking with tmobile. They said they'd cancel what I owed for the 3 hours I used their sim card and my account.
Ill check credit karma daily as I see that $136. For 3 1/2 hours i used sim card, entering collections
Their customer service in South Salem is THE WORST. We were told that we would have to wait for a half hr, it was over and when I asked how much longer it would be he's said it tablet shut off and he forgot about us then followed me and informed me that it was on a priority basis. Since I'm still waiting at this point the same jerk yelled at my husband from across the room to pit his mask over his nose ( it fell down) while another guy who was their before us has his down around d his chin and the Lil punk kid didn't say a word to him. I finally was helped by another guy who informed me if I wanted my old phone content transfered to my new phone I'd have to come back the next day as he didn't have time to do it I also was not given a return label like they said the would gi e me so I could return my trade in phone SMFH
Sarah was unable to remove the SIMM card from my Verizon MiFI8800 Jetpack today and tried using a metal pin (the kind used to eject SIMM cards from older iPhones) pushing the SIMM card out the end of the socket and breaking one of the metal pin contacts. This destroyed the jetpack's ability to connect to the SIMM which it was doing at home just prior to visiting this store. The store Manager insinuated that I did it with no offer to repair or replace the jetpack. There was a brief offer of partial coverage for a used product if I bought something on eBay. Why should you do business with incompetent people who are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage they cause? I am taking my business elsewhere. Just another disgruntled former Version customer.

I've been a customer of Verizon for 20 years... and QUITING Them. For the last 3 years the only line that a person actually answers is the SALES line. Yeah, of course. Get That MOney! Then completely disrespect your customers by putting them on extremely long hold times: 20 minutes to 2, even 3 hours. They offer a CHAT bot, with selections which then gets you to: A Callback Time, which pops up the options: 2-4 days in the future. ARE YOU KIDDING VERIZON? WTH happened to your company? You're the richest and biggest so why have you become the WORST SERVICE -- rated 23 or lower now, was #1 for years, then went into the toilet. No Thanks anymore. Goodbye Verizon. Good Riddance.

Verizon is the absolutely, unequivocally the worst cell carrier. I went to one of their stores today to upgrade 3 lines. We were told we would have to wait about an hour. Okay, not a problem; however when we finally get inside we learn that they do not have any of the 3 different phones we were looking for. So first, one of the major carriers is completely unprepared to sell phones, but we had to wait 45-minutes to find this out. So we decide to try online, so far so good, however; when we tried to check out no form of payment would go through: option A is add to your bill which never works, don't know why they lie and have this listed as an option; Option B is a credit card, all were declined, I called both banks no issues with either card; the 3rd option use PayPal, wait for it, wait for it... Why would Verizon disappoint, that didn't even work. My wife called the clueless customer service reps and they were of absolutely no help. It's time for Verizon to get bought out or sold to a company that understands supply and demand, customer service and technology.
Some sites claim Verizon has the best service, this is extremely subjective. I live in a major metropolitan area and regularly only have two bars and poor reception, while my friends with AT&T have 4-5 bars. I know where I am they are the worst. Thankfully, I am on wifi most of the time.
Verizon will talk you up on Verizon Protect saying it will be an easy replacement if your device is damaged, and then offer you nothing if you have a bad experience.
It's a $#*!ing rip-off.
