“VW website is very good, although like many sites is...”

ClassyParrot N.
9/25/10

VW website is very good, although like many sites is too packed with stuff which makes it confusing to find what you want. As for their service, it is superior. I left VW after 15 years to go to Sprint. OMG! I was miserable. Screw Sprints $69 for everything! VW may be expensive, their taxes and fees tack on $20+ to an average bill but its worth it! I'm sticking with Verizon Wireless.

“Don't do it!”

I agree 100 percent. Verizon overcharged and fraudulently charged hidden fees. The bill is never the same and continuously goes up in price. Offers promotions, gets you in, then bang you don't get what's promised. They'll have a different account representative call you, get you in, then suddenly you can't contact your "account representative " ever again.

I loathe Verizon, they are cons and crooks cheating you out of every penny they can get away with. I will be first on the list of any class action suit. Their reps are the nastiest weasels and they appear to apply a bait and switch tactic on every single move you make with this greedy, thieving company. May they all rot in hell.

Verizon has become such a massive size company that it no longer cares about their customers problems with their Verizon service! This is unacceptable to me. I just tried asking a question online and spent thirty minutes sifting through their process of a customer asking a question just to be told by a computer, not a human being that they did not have an answer for me. Wondering if anyone knows how to contact a Verizon customer service human being instead of the above response method?

I have spent over 3 hours on hold the last two days, Verizon customer service has disconnected each time I reach one of them. Prior to disconnecting, they all tell me to log into the website which I do not have access to because I have transferred my line and I am no longer considered a customer. They say they will transfer me to another department who can help me and the call ends. I explain this to them each time and without fail, they disconnect. Go into the store and they tell you to call the 1-800 number. T-Mobile or At&t, they pick up the second you call. Not Verizon, they are undoubtedly the worst. $60/ month more expensive, worse coverage and absolutely no customer service. Avoid at all cost. I will never give another penny to this company.

This company lies too much! The service is $#*!ty! I cannot wait to get out my contract with them. I'm having issues with my bill and every customer service agent has a different story about my bill (All lies) even when I had the proof to show them my bill was paid on time they wanted more money! I been waiting on hold to talk to a manager for over an hour now.

The Verizon Wireless corporate store in my town is too pre-occupied with their tablet computers. You have to stand there for what seems like forever while they type away on their tablet computer. Moreover, a large percentage of the time what gets typed in is inaccurate. Too many times I've had to return, re-order, resolve issues because someone using one of these tablet computers didn't do something right. They need to streamline these data needs, make the process easier, and not make the customer stand there for so long whilst they type away on these tablet computers. They need someone to come in and do a business process improvement with an eye on customer service and accuracy.

After being transferred from one department to the next and explaining the problem over and over several times to a different person, with each one acting like they care and are "so sorry for your inconvenience" they really don't care, are uninformed, and never return the call they promised hoping you will just give up and go away. Try a different carrier although they all might be similar. Welcome to the new new world of uneducated (I don't mean not having a worthless diploma), uninformed, don't care world.

I had to speak with 5 separate customer service reps to set up my account, 3 on line and 2 via phone each requiring that re-explain the whole situation. I manage multiple businesses with Verizon accounts but their set up for new business accounts is cumbersome and frustrating. Over an hour later, with countless IM's, and 45 minutes on a phone tree/call I have a new account but good grief, I had other things to do today.

Twice I had bills over a 1,000.00. That should never happen. It Happened once when I was a teen and they were my first phone. I had to pay that off slowly. Then it happened again in my late 20's. They're robbers. Cold hearted. Greedy. I'm still paying it off. Just one person on the bill. Both times. You think it would've been shut off after a certain point but noooo, Let's go over a 1,000.00 and then shut it off.

I have good and bad experience with company. The items that were bought which was the stuffed animal, the floor sweeper is no good. The cologne from realities I had to throw out. The eyebrow trimmer, camera for kids (have not used yet gift) the cupcake holders al. These items i liked. But the other items I paid for were horrible and I lost money purchasing them. Will think twice before purchasing items again.

Thank you

Roberta

My mother is 83 years old and bought a new phone and has had nothing but trouble with it. Called support over 6 times, did everything they asked and still has problems. Even knowing there is known problems with IPhone 12 Max pro, they won't replace it. They offered a refurbished phone but who wants to pay two years on a refurbished phone? The "supervisor " we just talked to hung up on us. They have outright lied to us twice.

This is the fourth times I will be calling customer service, they will pretend that they going to help you with the ticket and all processed. Also they will pretend your credit rebate will be on your next billing cycle but no... They are cheating me of $ 400.00. I guess that's how they were taught, let the customer give up, they'll forget about the money. After this contract ends, I will change to a different carrier.

RIP-OFF ALERT: Just bought a new smartphone at Verizon. I knew I'd have to pay a $90 deposit toward the phone in addition to the monthly fee. Fair enough. They told me they could set up the phone for me but didn't mention a fee. They offered to waterproof the phone. I stupidly said yes. Here are the fees I was charged:
$29.99 Water Protection Membership
$49.99 - Liquid Glass (water protection, not screen saver)
$49.99 - Verizon Phone Set-up
$35.00 - Data Transfer
$29.99 - Car charger (the old one is obsolete. Of course.)
$29.99 - Car charger cable (Also obsolete)
$29.99 - WallPort "cube" (to charge phone at home)
$53.40 - Tax on phone plus all the above
Including the $90 deposit on the phone, I ended up spending an extra $328. It would have been $428 if I didn't make them put back the $50 phone protector and $50 screen protector, which I just ordered for Amazon for $10 each! Oh, almost forgot: In addition I was told that my next Verizon bill and possibly another would be close to 50% higher than the amount I was told due to an "Upgrade Fee."

Tip for consumers:
Their business model seems to be built on fleecing their customers.

Verizon is a bate and switch expert. Bills do not match what was promised, and customer service is a disaster. Even their "executive office" support team is awful. Run from Verizon as quickly as you can. Make sure you get your price quote in writing or they will switch you and not stand behind what there reps lie about. Very dishonest company with worst customer service.

Verizon has -0- customer service. If you call them with a problem they will keep transferring you and dropping the call till you give up and don't fall for the bring your old phone in and get a free upgrade because they will not receive your old phone from the store you gave it to so you get to pay full price! I would have kept my old phone! Now I am stuck. I have to pay the "free phone" off before I can switch to any other company. I hope this will help at least one are two people out there.

Good luck.
John

Sounds great. 3 free phone, ipad and apple watches. Was told will pay just tax on phones $200 max, apple watches are 100% free, no extra charge and the ipad and it was definitely no more then $10 a month for dedicated line. Actual truth, Apple watch are free but each one will cost $10 per line with a 3 year commitment (extra$1,080). Tablet was $20 per line not $10 ( extra $360). Cost of phones $320 instead of $200 ( extra $120). Total extra cost that changed from what I was told is $1,560. The new cost were disclosed after are phones were transfered. So after being so exited about the deal, it was all just a lie and we didn't get the watches or Ipad. It was cheaper to just buy them. Keep in mind I did ask about all charges several times because it din't want to get there and it was different then what I was told.

Yesterday I tried to connect a Samsung S4 that a friend gave me. The phone still works fine.
Verizon told me that they discontinued support for it because it's not 4G. This is another example of Corporate Evil as far as I'm concerned. How many people did Verizon the F over with this one I wonder? I don't want to buy another phone. I already pay the wife and daughter's Verizon phone bills.
I can't believe the government lets Verizon and other wireless companies get away with this stuff. Try to find a way to save money and they find a way to F you. I can live without a phone for now. I refuse to be screwed over any more by Verizon.

So so internet service, but incredibly terrible customer service. Ever time it rains the DSL service goes down, and then it takes 30 min of phone button pushing to get to a real person. Then they demand a time you will be home to send the tech - hello idiots! It is not raining in my home, it is outside!
They always claim they have checked and it is not a line problem so it must be in my home. Well for this electrical engineer/HAM radio operator, I can pretty much tell where the problems are!
Every time they come out, check at the interface box outside my home all ok there - then go work on the junction boxes down the street, and miracles, fixed!
I live in a rural area, and no other options are available.
I can only dream if the day I move!

Called talk to several representatives to find out we're I can have my phone fixed. No place will fix the screen on my flip phone. I was told to pay off my phone for almost $900 and get a new phone with them. Why would I do that. They spent 45 minutes and talking about the wrong phone. No help what so ever.

Just trying to add an additional cell phone to my existing account. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes i started chatting with them. After the chat person asked 2 questions i had already spelled out in the text, i just called back and shouted agent repeatedly in to the phone. After getting transferred around i got to someone who spoke to me on a speaker phone far from the phone. Very unhappy.

Verizon billing me $35 for a boost of cell phone service that I never purchased. I already have unlimited data, so why would I want a boost? I have tried repeatedly to get help from their customer service, but even when I manage to reach someone, I get no help, just the old runaround. Last month there was a service outage, and it took me two weeks to reach customer service, but at least I eventually got some help. I have been their customer for more than three years, and I resent being treated this way.

I tried a Samsung phone and returned it to the A Wireless Store (Verizon) within 2 days. I agreed to pay the $35 restocking fee, but they also charged me a $20 activation fee. Then there was a screen cover that was drop shipped to me. When I finally got it in the mail on Dec. 14, I tried to return it to the store. They would not take it back or credit my account. I had to file a complaint through my own credit card. Overall, the customer service was despicable. Please avoid this store and save yourself the hassles I endured.

Switching from spectrum to Verizon was the worse thing I could of ever did. One problem was they took 4 hours to install 3 cable boxes. Ridiculous! Then another problem I have with them is that they explained to me on numerous occasions that Verizon will pay your termination bill from previous providers if its under 500$ if you switch with them. Well they Lied! As soon as we switched over they then said that they don't pay your bill they just give you credit on your account meaning. We still end up having to pay for two TV providers!

Upset that once our phones are paid off now they feel we need an additional charge for each line, why does every single company out there feel they need to pass on their profit loss to the consumer, welcome to yet another company that disappoints. Crap!

New customer wishing I had read reviews before signing up! Issue with a bill and I have been on the phone with customer services for 1.5 hours trying to sort a 'technical issue' with my account. The last customer service person informed me there is no issue! I just have to wait a few days before the bill shows on my account. Why didn't the previous 4 x customer service people know this and not waste my time. Escalated my complaint and was given a very tepid 'sorry' for bad service. Please go elsewhere if you can.
