VW website is very good, although like many sites is too packed with stuff which makes it confusing to find what you want. As for their service, it is superior. I left VW after 15 years to go to Sprint. OMG! I was miserable. Screw Sprints $69 for everything! VW may be expensive, their taxes and fees tack on $20+ to an average bill but its worth it! I'm sticking with Verizon Wireless.
I agree 100 percent. Verizon overcharged and fraudulently charged hidden fees. The bill is never the same and continuously goes up in price. Offers promotions, gets you in, then bang you don't get what's promised. They'll have a different account representative call you, get you in, then suddenly you can't contact your "account representative " ever again.
After multiple calls they continue to send mail to my dead mother. They make her offers, invite her to come back, etc. It is painful to have to keep receiving this mail. It is a huge waste of paper. I have been waiting for my circumstances to change so I can afford to go back to Verizon. However I doubt that will happen. Today I made a last call attempt and waited for a manager forever. Giving up on Verizon after being a lifelong customer for over 2 decades. It might seem stupid to give up good service over this. However I like to surround myself with people and companies who care. I've had great luck with my T-Mobile home Internet so I will try them for my new cell service. Wishing you well. Shirley's daughter.

How companies treat customers when something unexpected comes up. In this respect, Version fails.

Cell service. Two lines.
Customer service doesn't relay consistent messages. Hard to get answers. Constantly requires hours on the phone to get things handled. Multiple scenarios have happened like this that make me regret signing up with them. Lies from the rep that originally sells you in the store. Random fees constantly monthly. I hated sprint but atleast the bill was always the same each month. Told me if I cancel wifi service due to moving I would need to pay for iPad upfront for $700 remaining balance. Absolutely ludicrous. Would not recommend!
Bill started at $114.00, moved up to $351.00, then $1300.00 in a little over a month. Agents and managers are disrespectful and do not state the truth. Fighting the charges. Do NOT ever switch to Verizon. I would rate zero stars if possible. Yankton, SD at 3100 Broadway is horrible.

Worst customer service ever

Verizon Sales Rep indicated that everyone has had service issues as they are making changes. Nothing we can do about. And no discounts or refunds for bad cell service. Terrible. In a contract and unless I want to spend more $$. I have to wait and have bad service. What in the world! I will leave as soon as I can. If you don't have Verizon now. Do not sign up!
Tip for consumers:
Stop. Don’t sign up

Tdlr since I'm so sick and tired of this garbage company. Service ALWAYS goes out, maybe 5+ times a week. No service for hours and it'll be my home internet as well so I'll literally be completely disconnected from the world. Prices are outrageous, and reps are below any standard of the modern world. Just go with visible or boost and save he headache I promise their service will not disappoint. Same I'll be doing here soon since Verizon thinks we won't leave
Been a customer over 4 years. I have a family plan with 5 lines. My phone has been due for an upgrade for almost a year. They won't let me upgrade to a new phone unless I pay 700 because they say I don't have enough credit now. Would like to have a phone that works for the holidays. Guess I'll be looking elsewhere.
Went online and purchased extra (5G) data for my account. My accounts payment history shows the successful purchase of the (5G) for $10. But the data wasn't added! Chatted with customer service, and was informed that they would call me back in 15 minutes to manually add the data. Call back individual spoke very quietly and barely audibly, and hung up when I told them I could barely hear them!
My experience with this company includes: being told my phone was "free" then charged monthly, the salesperson saying he was giving me free phone accessories turns out the were $80 (available on Amazon for $18), charged for an entire month after cancelling the line 10 days in, charged $10 for horrible customer service and $5 for a hard copy of my bill, told I could not speak with a supervisor. Price gouging, hidden fees, and deceptive sales practices lead me to the Attorney General's office of Ohio.
I think that the people that answer the calls, all they want is to kill time. I called them like 6 times (because they never solved the problem), 3 of which they hung up and other 3 they just put you in hold for like 45 minutes, coming back like every 10 min saying "we're just verifying your account, thanks for your patience" and then apologizing they couldn't verify the account and suggesting to wait 3 days before calling back. Completely useless. After this experience I will NEVER want to have to deal with them. If there was a 0 stars option I'd choose that.
I went to my verizon store today for help with my full voice mail. I was also looking for assistance with my car gps\cell phone holder I had purchased last time. It had fallen apart. The salespeople were more than helpful solving all my problems with patience and knowledge. Great service.
I've been waiting 5 months for a promotion to kick in on the new Google Pixel 7 Pro I bought on a trade-in. Called my local store and store rep David went all out to get that promotion executed by Verizon. I have always found Verizon helpful.
I have been to 3 different Verizon stores in the Portland/Gresham area in the last year to help me with different problems on my iPhone. One employee told me, "sorry I'm only familiar with Galaxy's. Really? The rest tried their best but not all that helpful. A waste of time to sit in line waiting. My other issue was getting the Hum Bluetooth calling and roadside assistance. It sounds great in theory but did not work well for me. I tried for a year trouble shooting it but finally got rid of it to save my sanity. Since it was a 2 year contract, I had to pay 50 bucks to get rid of it.
An agent came and offered me to switch to Verizon for home internet. I applied, received the box, applied and qualified for the government program. Called him, never came back to connect it, when I called Verizon they told me that my account is not connected, I sent back the box and one month later I started receiving bills for $ 198.23, they reported it to my credit report as a derogatory and made me loose several points. I had to pay them for a service that I did not receive and also pay a collection fee of $20! I don't recommend Verizon to anyone. They steal money and mess up your credit!
They told me it would be $80/month for my service, maximum. Sure enough when the bill came it was $111. All this worst service I've ever had. I've used straight talk for the last decade, and you'd better believe I'll be switching back immediately. It was literally half the price with better service. Scam artists! Do not go with this company!
I discovered the truth today about Verizon after asking them billing questions. As it turns out, after your device is mostly paid off or is totally paid off, your bill goes up. Why you may ask? Their answer was because people like to keep upgrading, so they automatically charge more. Um, okay, what if you just want to keep what you have for awhile to save some money? I guess you can't. Not sure if all cell companies are like this or just Verizon but I'm definitely checking into it, as that is not fair to the consumer. He also switched my plan to a different one without me giving permission first. He was rude, and blamed us for dropping our Verizon ellipsis 8 tablet when we absolutely did not, he blamed us anyway and was irritated after he couldn't sell us a new one. Needless to say, I am shopping around for new companies.
I am Verizon customer for 5 years and I just found out on the Internet that they have Prepaid Plan for 2 lines, 6GB, unlimited talk and text, all for $60/month! For 5 years Verizon is overcharging me! No email about that plan, no any info when purchasing a phone! Nothing! I called 611 and asked for Prepaid Plan for 2 lines for 60/month and man said: "O, yes, we have that plan". Overcharging customers, ha Verizon? Shame on you!
In the last few months, I have had very poor Verizon service coverage on my street. When I leave the area, i can get much better service, which tells me it is not my phone settings. I have been a long term customer of Verizon in the same location, and, I expected better response after i brought the problem to their attention. In short, their solution is that I should purchase a wifi service (which I do not want) or buy an extender and a router to use my cable service modem. I am very frustrated with this solution from a company that claims the have the best 4G service coverage. Very poor.
Phone just stopped working today. Tried calling customer service (still on hold after an hour), texting, chatting, email, nothing. Every option is being driven to an automated tool, and none of them work. What the heck do I do now? My phone is my business. Completely helpless, and this "Communications company" cannot resolve a simple issue. Not sure why you keep blaming it (on your outgoing messages) on COVID-19. Lots of people out of work, can work from home, and you're a communications company that is probably still thriving. Something is very wrong when a customer for almost a decade who pays $500 per month for a family can't get a simple problem solved or get through to a customer service agent. Worthless.
I will give Verizon some credit, they do try to stay on top of the game. But their pricing can be rediculous. And a lot of the new promotions are for new customers only. What about rewarding long time customers somehow? More of us might stick around if we felt important. Their coverage area is fantastic though.
Got a new phone and it does not work. Been calling for 3 days. Got transferred to someone who finally was helping me. Got disconnected and he never called back. Then had to start over. Tier one employees don't even know that verizon sells palm phones. Plus he added insurance to my defunct i phone 7. Its paid for. I removed insurance over an month ago. If you have 3 hours a day talking to them you might get pissed off like me. Telling the same story overband over.
My 84 year old mother was sold 2 flip phones at Walmart. She only wanted a way for her mentally challenged 60 year old son, to be able to be reached. No texting, no internet, just simply a way to call. All of the bills were over $300 a month! We called, and called. Customer service is a joke! Once finally, I reached an agent, they claim these are data charges! This went on for several months. We finally drove to the nearest Verizon Store and returned a phone, which it cost over $300 for her to do that. Most people wouldn't have paid anything but she wanted to do the right thing. Shame on you Verizon. You ripped me off an elder widow.
When you sign up for Verizon, make sure you ask for the estimate of next bill.
Here are the problems I encountered:
- they do not honor what sale team promises you.
- the agents will say that they will call you back; they never do.
- they will find the most expensive solution to solve your problem.
- Sales team do not disclose everything: always ask for next bill estimate,
- Invest as shareholder, but don't be a customer.
- Ask for bill estimate all the the time, otherwise you will be screwed.
Tip for consumers:
Be aware, Verizon is not customer centric, they are shareholder centric.

Although my review of Verizon was discriminating, they have changed some purchase plan! I spoke with a CEO, and he along with other associates, adjusted their service cost plans to accommodate new customers and make it more affordable, on a monthly pre-pay plan. This adjustment and decision is terrific and is a company who cares about their clients! Good job, ladies and gents At Verison. Excellent work!
Tip for consumers:
Check Verizon out, they are in support of their customer and worked diligently, as they promised! Follow up their plans-it works.
Was told our bill would be this amount then increased our amount by $30. You can keep adding lines which we have 3 lines and the prices keep going up and Verizon keeps lying. I have had pre paid with Straight Talk and Spectrum and never an issue so I recommend to all that's the way to go because all reviews I have read with Verizon through my years with them are not good and with any other company!
I have been with Verizon for years for my medium sized business. I can't stress enough for anyone considering doing business to re consider! Their GPS platform is a never ending contract with severe penalties for canceling. Their phone service "one talk" does not work for my business needs, the KPI's are almost non existent. The salesperson lies in the implementation to make me buy the product. My reach lists to management are so far unsuccessful. By the way we spend over $5000 a month on Verizon services, and get absolutely horrible support
Tip for consumers:
