VW website is very good, although like many sites is too packed with stuff which makes it confusing to find what you want. As for their service, it is superior. I left VW after 15 years to go to Sprint. OMG! I was miserable. Screw Sprints $69 for everything! VW may be expensive, their taxes and fees tack on $20+ to an average bill but its worth it! I'm sticking with Verizon Wireless.

I agree 100 percent. Verizon overcharged and fraudulently charged hidden fees. The bill is never the same and continuously goes up in price. Offers promotions, gets you in, then bang you don't get what's promised. They'll have a different account representative call you, get you in, then suddenly you can't contact your "account representative " ever again.

I'm not the type to normally write reviews but I have to in order for people to be aware of this scam. After I paid off the phone, I sent it to Africa but found out that it was still locked. When I called customer service they said Tech support can help, tech support also transferred me to the recovery department. The recovery department said they can't unlock it so they also transferred me to the Fraud department. And they said that I should contact the recovery department. After spending 1 hour 48 minutes, nobody could help me out. Seems like they don't want to be to use another carrier. THE PHONE IS FULLY PAID OFF!

This company thinks they are the premiere cell phone company. They overcharge for their phones and service. After being with this carrier for 20 yrs we needed new phones again and couldn't believe their prices. Also the sales rep at the king NC acted like he knew what phone we needed and didn't listen to us. It worked out for the best though, my wife and I ordered new phones and new service from consumer cellular and ported our old phone numbers over from Verizon. The new phones were less than half the price and the new service is half the price of Verizon. Don't be fooled by their claims, this company sucks.

Check your bill every montyh. Verizon adds stuff to your bill without telling you. Why is my time less valuable than their's is? When did it become the norm to wait on the phone for 20 or more minutes to talk to a live person? I cannot stand to listen or respond to an automated system. This is unexceptable for a big company like this to treat there customers with little respect. If Verizon wasn't the only cell service in the area I would drop them in a second.

I have been trying to get phone and internet service for about 2 weeks now and nothing is working. I have been calling every other day abt this matter and the tect department keeps telling me they have to speak with the order department and the issue would be fixed the next day. It is now 2 weeks later and no internet, can't activate the devices and no seems to be able to help the issues. I would give 0 stars

They charger you for fees even if you don't have the product. Please check your credit or debit card they could be taking your money away from you without you knowing even if you cancel your account or even just never recieved the modem. At the end they will tell you that they will give you few months credit. Verizon internet what kind of company is ti? Bad services

Who knew if you buy a phone from Verizon under a promo, say BOGO free or BOGO for $200 that you are not getting a free phone or a $200 phone but basically just agreeing to stay with them 2 more years or pay full price for the free/200 phone on top of full price for the original full price phone? Basically the "free" is nothing more than word play ‍... please do not expect them to explain things fully, as hard as it is on their small hand-held tablets you be sure to read every word of the contract, dont trust Verizon trains their workers fully and have dont know what they are doing or care about anything but the sell... read the fine print... they will screw you!

They use your credit as a hostage, raise the price on agreements like the labtop, and they didn't even send me a working device that I paid for months. I waited for the to send me a working device. I got tired of waiting and requested many many many times for a replacement phone with insurance that I never got. I sent them all devices since they were for business and now I am being charged $800 for a broken device and canceling service for the other one before the 30 days. Horrible Horrible Horrible company to do business with. I suggest you just save up and buy the phone you want directly from the manufacturer like Apple or Samsung. Don't make the mistake of giving Verizon the opportunity to do business with them. Disaster is waiting to happen if you do business with these people

Xfinity is great for cellular phones if you already have internet with them you may qualify for mobile

Been a long time customer for Verizon for over 20 years and I hate to say it that I'm now thinking about switching. For the past 20 years I have seen the quality of signal in my area go from minimum 4 bars down to no bars almost at my house. I used to get great Verizon coverage. Now I have to use my Wi-Fi to use my phone and to make phone calls. It's to the point now where I'm on interstate 405 and I'm getting no service in a large metropolitan area and I have no 5G at all even though I'm paying for 5G. So if you're thinking about using wireless service, I would really think twice about Verizon wireless

Verizon is so full of crap. How do you get approved and take your money then they say you need to verify identity. Their system doesn't work when you upload your ID then you finally upload identity then they say your account is canceled because it wasn't enough documentation. I was switching over service but they make it so complicated. I totally understand the verify part but once documents are submitted that should be enough. Who wants to switch to a company that's starting off bad already

My son has a Verizon government phone thru vortex, it wouldn't allow ANY calls, AND unfortunately there's no customer support number. My spouse and I share Verizon package, so I called Verizon and the rep was extremely helpful, got me a number! She was extremely friendly and as ALWAYS made me feel valued. So, THANK YOU! STILL best company out there!

You pay all this money for Phillies baseball. Now that the Phillies have clinched the wildcard and are in the playoffs, you can't watch the most important moments that you been waiting and paying for. The games are now on a different pay station (what a shock) and you would now have to pay another fee for another pay station miraculously not on your plan (what a shock as well). What do you do? Call Verizon naturally. Naturally their response was you can't change your channel lineup, you can only change your plan. I've paid them to deliver Phillies baseball and they don't deliver, but we are paying them for this non-delivery.

I have always recieved a monthly paper bill in the mail since I have had service from Verizon. A few months ago my bill got messed up so I called and wound up paying my bill by phone. Now, I no longer get my bill in the mail. Instead, they keep sending me a text message with a bunch of numbers that mean nothing to me and I want those text messages to stop right now. I just want to get a normal bill in the mail but it seems like a huge problem for them to do that.

Had a bug with a phone I a common bug with a phone I bought from there. They wouldn't even look or touch my phone. Said there wasn't anything they could do except have me buy a new phone. This was my experience at both the physical store and their online customer support. Luckily I was able to find a solution to my problem via Reddit and YouTube. Shameful money grabbers

I'm so sick of being ripped off by companies that are making astonishing profits by overcharging people who actually work for a living. The service is largely crummy, given that the majority of Verizon's networks rely on woefully antiquated technology (think Ma Bell), and it goes without saying that Verizon has no incentive to improve their service. Frankly, this astonishingly greedy strategy has taken over American business, and We The People suffer for it. Verizon is a TERRIBLE company that would sell us all into torturous slavery if they thought they'd make a buck.

I have had a very disappointing, frustrating, and ridiculous situation happen today. I added international calling to my plan for my vacation to Europe (in October 2023), what I thought I signed up for was a 30 day subscription on my bill. When I got back I expected it to no longer be on my bill, however, it continued to be charged to my account. I went to the Rochester Verizon store (which is the closest store to me and it is 30 miles away) they were very helpful and able to cancel my international plan and get me a refund for the extra month charge. I got my bill again this month (billing for January 2024) and the foreign access is still being charged to my account. I called Verizon at home, they stated (after being on the phone for an hour) I had to go back to the store and do it there, they cannot help me. I drove the 30 miles to the Verizon Store, where they very rudely told me they could not do anything for me even though previously on January 11th the employees were very helpful. So, I just waisted 3 hours and never got the second month of the foreign charge removed. Thank you for nothing Verizon, they got their money so I am SOL...

Stay clear of Verizon! You will only end up getting your bank account drained. They continued to take money from our bank account for 2 months after we canceled their HORRIBLE SERVICE and then had the audacity to then send us a bill for $40 more 2 weeks later with no reason for the charge. Then threaten to send us to the collection agency if it wasn't paid.

All the other bad reviews posted about this company are absolutely spot on.

I am not satisfied the verizonwireless.com services because I purchased one mobile phone from here for my brother. The color and the model were good and also all softwares are available in that mobile. After two days the battery is not properly working, suddenly loses the charge and switched off the mobile and it is not good site for mobile phones.

My bill keeps rising and they will NOT keep there word, I have called and called numerous times and they tell me they see the mistakes and they will credit our account and I will see the credit difference on my next bill. When I get the bill they don't make any credits for their mistakes and the only change they make is to raise my bill! Over and over again. Terrible customer service. Most customer service representatives can't speak English! Don't get a phone turned on with this company! After over 10 years with Verizon I have had it, done, it's over! I am canceling today!

Tip for consumers:
Don't have Verizon as your company!!!!!!

This company is not to be trusted. They sold me new accounts telling me that there would be no early termination penalty. Now that I have deactivated my account, they are not only charging me $188 early termination but they continue to tack on erroneous charges even though the account is deactivated. They are also saying there is nothing they can do about the charges because the account is deactivate - yet they continue to add charges. All the while, not allowing me access to see the bill without charging me to mail me a bill. How is this legal?

I called in to Verizon a week ago. My account was not accurate and I had called in prior and the rep that i spoke with assured me it would be fixed within 24 to 48 hours. IT WAS NOT!
I spoke with Zynthia Howard and she listened and heard me! She fixed my account and she cared. I am so very satisfied with her customer service professional persona that I had to write a review. She is hands down the best. You have to know that when you call in to places that some people do not care they just have a job. But Zynthia proved to not just have a job but morals of helping others and listening to the need and coming up with a solution. Thank you Zynthia for all you do and for being apart of the
solution and not the problem! Blessings to you in all you do. Thank you Verizon for hiring capable people.

I purchased 3 new phones in Oct they had promotions on them each month they take the promotions off one of them and added on other things. It has been since Oct it is now January. I have called each month 2 to 3 times. And have been told it is fixed. I have spoken to supervisers that have promised this. Even sent me emails to show me then the email disappeared after one day. I have been lied to by everyone at Verizon I would never go with verizon again. I have been with verizon for years. Do not buy new phone with verizon.

I left Verizon after probably 20 years just because I wanted to cut my phone bill. I am a single parent trying to support a son in a rigorous college program which doesn't allow a student to work during school. I figured even 30 or 40 dollars each month helps. HUGE MISTAKE! I switched to SPRINT and it has been a nightmare to put in kindly. The have lied about prices, charged me for things I did not authorize and have been rude beyond belief.
I actually was having chest pain because the frustration that you virtually just have to deal with. If you can figure out their bills you qualify as a rocket scientist. They can't
Figure them out. I have been given a different explanation of charges every time I call. BEFORE YOU LEAVE VERIZON THINK TWICE. I never was treated like this by them and I always knew my bill was right. In 18 months I will be going back to them.

We were with AT&T for over 20 years. We switched service because our service wasn't great and we were told that Verizon had better coverage. We switched to Verizon and had worse service. So two years later we switched to T-mobil. (Not better service btw but way better company so far) So when I was canceling our Verizon service they left me on hold for 1.5 hours and were incredibly difficult. The t-mobil employees said they're the worst company about canceling service. Anyway FINALLY got service cancelled only to notice two months later that they had been charging me $70 a month for my sons iPad that was no longer associated with them. After getting the run around, they actually acted like they might not be able to refund me, they did refund me the money charged but what a gigantic pain! And honestly I have yet to see if any of this actually happened as I just got off the phone with them.

I have been on call with the customer rep for more than 3 hours just to upgrade my phone, one person gives one quote and other rep gives other quote and finally after I agreed upon the higher quote what they are insisting me that is the final quote! The payment was not successful because of their application issueSuch a pathetic experience and such a time waste and finally they told me to visit store for the purchaseThen why the online service is for? And why you wasted my precious. 3 hours? Come on improve your customer experience as you guys are growing day by day, none of the customers would be happy with you guys having such an absurd experience.

So last night I spent a half hour waiting for them to answer the phone when they finally did I spent 20 minutes going in circles with them explaining the problem with a decades old phone that they couldn't figure out. The customer service representative told me to go to the Verizon store near me and they couldn't figure it out either. So when I got home I started looking for a way to bypass the issue and in a few seconds I found one that they apparently had no clue about. Now it's been a long time since I was using Verizon and I can say I never will again, they really went down hill in a few years
