VW website is very good, although like many sites is too packed with stuff which makes it confusing to find what you want. As for their service, it is superior. I left VW after 15 years to go to Sprint. OMG! I was miserable. Screw Sprints $69 for everything! VW may be expensive, their taxes and fees tack on $20+ to an average bill but its worth it! I'm sticking with Verizon Wireless.

I agree 100 percent. Verizon overcharged and fraudulently charged hidden fees. The bill is never the same and continuously goes up in price. Offers promotions, gets you in, then bang you don't get what's promised. They'll have a different account representative call you, get you in, then suddenly you can't contact your "account representative " ever again.

Don't take my word for it. Following Verizon's instructions, I type "speed test" into Google and hit the button initiating the test. Judge the results for yourself on a brand new 5G Verizon version Samsung phone, parked right outside a college downtown. The Verizon chat agent said 1.5 Mbs is SLOW, as did Google's speed test. So Verizon asked me to do 2 more speed tests, and you see the screen shot of the last of 3 tests. 0.5 Mbs download speed, 3x slower than Verizon considers "defiantly unacceptably slow." After a year of problems Verizon never responded to, I got through to a Verizon manager. Shortly thereafter their technicians confessed to what my speed tests showed all along. They worked on it. It worked ONE DAY, and failed thereafter, and has sense then. I continue to get ZERO upload speeds (their network ignores my keystrokes completely), HUGE ping delays (web page after page crashes, even hospital web pages needed to schedule Covid tests won't load). Verizon's ongoing, neverending failures could literally cost lives. They just don't care. I pay every month for UNLIMITED data. Avoid Verizon like the plague.

Data badly underperforming & refuse to fix it

I conduct an independent speed test every week or two of Verizon's supposed 4G data from home. Download results are about 5% of the proper speed, 18 times slower than advertised. By definition, 4G should be 12 Mbs says Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4G?wprov=sfla1. See attached speed test taken from my home where Verizon download speed was 0.11 Mbs with only 30% stability.
Zero upload speed with zero stability means no internet surfing because my keystrokes never get sent out. Massive ping delays literally off the scale at 999 milliseconds also cause website crashes. Compare the fast test of 20.64 MBS download with the slow 0.94 MBS download right after it. Those were taken 2 miles apart and 5 minutes or so apart, all else exactly the same. On the Interstate freeway where you can't use the phone, the network works fine (20.64 MBS), but downtown their network is worthless (0.94 MBS, the fastest in a long time from home, but WAY under 4G), but they refuse to even troubleshoot it for the past year. My phone itself has been tested by multiple Verizon experts in several of their stores and unanimously they said there is nothing wrong with my phone. All speed tests are conducted at my home located on a major thoroughfare 2 blocks from the heart of down town. I just gave up on a chat with their customer service lasting nearly 2 hours yet featuring only 4 texts from them in that time, asking for information they have repeatedly been given.
A second 2 hours goes by with no response from Verizon, and I give up. Horrible customer service. One evening I had a file to download which should have taken 1 minute. Six network failures in a row, and 4 hours later, the download is a total failure. In 4 hours Verizon has not even answered their own chat help line. The next day I use McDonalds WiFi and download that file in 45 seconds. I have filed multiple complaints with the Better Business Bureau against Verizon. Verizon doesn't care one bit.

Jimmy F. He was the Verizon installer just wanted to say he is such a nice guy great job cleans up after himself he was very organized with his tools & paper work. Excellent jobThanks again WiFi working great

I have Verizon service for over 20 years. Recently over the last 6 months I've tried to get some support from a Verizon customer support person. There are those who are very passionate about their job and those that have no clue how to deal with their customers. I seem to fall into the latter category as there was one female support worker who looked at me as if I was from Mars. That's one store. Another one today placed a sign on their front door saying "If you don't have an appointment stay out". I then went to AT&T and switched plans with great pleasure. So long Veeryezoooooooonnnnn!

Tip for consumers:
Bail out of this dismal phone service provider.

Verizon is way over priced! I just felt like they were ripping me off very time I paid the bill. Thank goodness for T Mobile, AT&T and Cricket coming out with Inexpensive plans and NO contract. Verizon is trying to come off like, we are the best, we have the most to offer (who cares when their offer isn't significantly above what the other cell phone companies have). Their sales people act like prima donnas. Get over it, you're a cell phone sales person. It isn't Saks Fifth Avenue and you aren't selling ten thousand dollar suits.

Had a really bad experience with verizon, even though I kept having less data the price was going up. Customer service people were very rude every time I tried to understand my bill and never solved my problem, as soon as my contract was over I changed ro t-mobile bill is always the same and I'm paying for 2 phones what I used to pay at verizon for one.

Tried to get me to sign up for an $80 a month plan with a $35 connection fee plus a credit check to unlock a phone I bought on Amazon, only to find out the had no intent or ability (so they say) to unlock my phone. Don't trust them on their word

Tip for consumers:
Use another carrier, T-Mobile had another phone unlocked and up and running in 30 minutes at no cost

I have been a Verizon customer for about 4 years now and things have steadily gone down hill, if that's even possible. This doesn't just apply to their wireless service either, their home internet service is even worse. If their own site doesn't work how much do you think your service will? Something to think about. The Technicians dont show up or will call at the 11th hour with a late call (they eat up your entire day), Service is intermittent, calls drop my cell phone resets itself constantly while Im actually on a call! I can go on and on about how horrible the service, products etc suck but I don't have enough hours in the day. I would probably fair better with styrofoam cups and string.

Verizon prepaid wireless is horrible. One thing that really irks me, is getting mysterious calls that gobble up airtime. I feel these are being sent by Verizon for that very purpose in order to force people to buy more airtime cards.

Tip for consumers:
I switched to STRAIGHT TALK! No more problems!

I went to a verizon IM wireless store and they told me I am using my third tempered glass even though I only shouldl be on my second. They put it on so my phone wont crack anymore
This was last week. Well since yesterday its had major scratches and I have not dropped or done anything to the phone that would of caused this. I. called verizon and woman is sending a new protector but whatnot inconvenience. The store iv har issued with sending me bad products and I do not want to go back. I tried complaining online and had no luck.

Verizon takes economic development subsidies and challenges the assessed value of their facilities in order to lower property tax payments.We get zero service in most of rural Montana, yet they claim to be improving American lives with 5 G, Just pay your fair share of taxes,. So I who don't get coverage don't have to oay more than my fair share!

I used to love Verizon. I have had them for many many years with no problems up until now. I am so angry because I have been a loyal customer to them. I pay for unlimited everything which is 70 a month. My internet refuses to work even with 4g and full bars. Why am I spending this much money for just talk and text? It wont even load icons and pictures. Verizon has become so useless to me that I'm about to switch carriers. After having them for almost 10 years, they have never screwed me over this hard. I will never ever go back to this carrier again. They throttled my internet for months now. I am wasting my money and so angry at Verizon for this.

I can't even make a call... constant popup when trying to dial out is... not connected to any service! Interesting since I have never been late with a payment. Three times I have gone into tie local store and have gotten 3 different excuses. #1. I have a A42 phone less than six months old, but I am supposed to remove the sims card every time it happens. #2 Tower is being worked on (this has been happening for months) and the best one yet #3... we only have one tower, so why then do you continue to sell phones and service to people. Can't even call the local store, because it sends you to the customer service number. I want to know how to get credit for all the times Ive missed an emergency call from the school and doctor calls. Poorest service ever!

Wasted hours on their assessments to be told I didn't qualify. These "tests" shouldn't take over 15 minutes. Total disregard of our time and money as time is money. People looking for a job are already stressed out, they don't have the luxury to waste their precious time on your entry level job personality tests. Redundant tests, dated practices. Keep away. The pay is low as well.

I have been a customer of Verizon for over 20 years. Apparently that means nothing to them. Worst customer service ever and their callback issues and hold times are outrageous. Everyone you talk to tells you something different. Can't say enough bad things about them. I'm leaving them. Don't sign on with Verizon. You will regret it.

Be extremely careful when discontinuing the contract. They are charging for the entire month even if the service was disconnected on a second day of the month. No prorated bill option available. Good luck keeping the customers with that approach. Stay away from this swindlers

I signed up to verizon online last night from tmobile. This morning I called customer service with a question. After 30 minutes of waiting I decided I will cancel order. I've been calling half the day already, in 2 cases over 1 hour. I'm still on step one. I've called UPS (They answered right away). I will refuse shipments from Verizon. This experience made my outlook of Verizon horrible. Atleast I learned that Tmobile is world better at customer service

I was a customer for almost twenty years. They may have good signals, but their Customer Service got very bad. They are rude, long wait times, and all they want you to do is go on line for everything. And their Customer contact is just for their convenience. So they have awful hours. I switched a year ago to another carrier, and the Customer Service is excellent. They treat you with respect. It was truly a nice welcome.

Verizon has you on hold for 2 hours long or so all the time. This is has been their norm for the last year. You have to spend a whole evening just to handle a phone call with them. They take your money asap but can't speak to you asap.

Verizon offers buy one get one free deals telling customers it will take up to 3 months to credit payments to the account. They never credit account. When contacting customer service they then claim phone does not qualify for promotion. They flat out lie to customers and steal your money.

I left the company (Verizon) years ago due to bad customer service, came back and see that nothing changed. Told by several reps that a charge for an old Iphone 4 was waived ($299) only to have it appear on my bill. Everyone got amnesia when asked about the waiver. When asked for a review of recording for quality control to prove promise of a waiver was made, it couldn't be found. They cut my service off, but agreed to waive the cost of the phone if I renew my contract. How nice of them. I am with a new company and happy.

Signed up for the 5G home box and was told it would be 38 a month. They lied and tried to charge me 275 dollars on my next bill plus 50 in taxes then I went to cancel because of it had to pay a 50 cancellation fee and they said I would get my bill adjusted back to normal. I did and then proceeded to not take it off my bill. When asking them to fix it they refused and gave me a 25 dollar credit and then raised my monthly bill 40 dollars and said I still owe them the 275 plus the 480 they raised my bill to as basically punishment for cancelling the 5G which is 480 dollars a year for nothing different. I'm done, was with Verizon for almost a decade and when I told them I would leave they didn't care. So bye bye! Don't use them they are liars and scammers.

I spent a week and a half trying to straighten out my account and am still trying to get issue resolved. I have been a Customer for twenty years and have never had bad cell service but that's where it ends. Can someone explain to me why it's takes "3 or 4 billing cycles to get credits due". They don't seem to have trouble adding billable add ONS to your account. I wonder how they would respond to me taking 3 or 4 billing cycles to pay them? Absolutely the worst organization I have ever dealt with. God know how difficult it will be to discontinue service an go to another carrier. Worst of all they ain't don't appear to care.

The only reason I switched from US Cell to Verizon was because of coverage. What a mistake! While Verizon has country wide coverage, (US Cell coverage is limited to the middle of the country), their service is horrible. What's the use of having a smart phone if they are constantly "throttling" your internet capacity? I've had it with this horrible company. Going to buried fiber for my home internet and back to US Cell for my phone service. Verizon is so bad I don't even think the government could screw it up more if they were to take it over. Why doesn't the BBB step in and do something about them?

I have been a long time Verizon user. I requested for a temp international plan to start in July, and end on Aug 12,2021. I didn't notice until in mid December, 2021 that this service wasn't stopped as it supposed to, and they having been charging me for that service of $100 every month (I use automatic payment through my bank). I called Verizon, was put on hold, and the estimated time was said to be 40 min. Well, I was still on hold after 90 min. The online "chat with us" only gave you the same response and is useless. I scheduled a call back and finally got a live person on the line. Guess what? They transferred me twice, and I was put on hold again endlessly. Never experience anything worse than Verizon.
