They don't care about customers time and money. If they totally rely on Checklist for document validation then its their responsibility to keep it updated and remove the old ones. My application is returned because I chose the old checklist (which was present online). It cost me $22 additional in postage because the application is returned and they secured my credit card details in advance already, so they can deduct any money at thier convenience even if it was because their fault. I know one friend of mine faced the similar issue. This is very bad.
Their online booking system for appointments simply does not work. I have been looking for an appointment several times every day for almost 3 weeks. The system gives the same excuse - no appointments available at this time. Finally, this morning at 4.30 there were two available dates in December. I tried to book, and the message came up stating I have tried too many times even though this was the first time I had got passed the initial page. Then I looked an hour later as it said I should do - then same problem - no available slot available on any day. USELESS!
They charge you for SMS but they never even update the status on their website, they give phone number but can't reach and no one picks up. Online application enquiry doesn't work after two weeks it's still showing nothing.
And after all, they charged me for so many things which they have never done.
Please change the visa application centre and outsource some other company to do the applications.
None of the staff seem to know what they're doing and I think this is extremely irresponsible as you need to trust them with your most precious documents. I handed in my docs, paid for updates via text messages (received none), was notified by the embassy that my residence permit got granted, but no one knows how I should collect my docs and when I should expect them. This is insane!
I know you don't care about, but you don't have to treat people like they are worthless.and you do. Nobody has time to spend hours for getting a tourist visa. Get a proper, working website. Nothing works properly. Hire more people if needed. After all you are making money without giving any service...
Vfs seems to be an illegal front for the embassies in the uk. Trying arrange an appointment is almost impossible. Maybe the countries using vfs don't actually want tourists so they use vfs to frustrate and turn people away. It has taken me 4 months to try and obtain a Schengen visa still no joy. I have decided to not go to Europe and go somewhere else to a country that actually would like me to visit
Since 02/15/23 I have been patiently waiting for my refund of $222.42 fees paid towards the Visa Application for Tourist visa to India which I didn't submit due to error in my application.
VFS suggested me to create New application and new payment of $222.42 paid again on 03/05/23 and I was granted visa on my second application.
I requested an online refund, by certified mail phone calls at $2.48 per min and also filed online complaint. I am so frustrated and very much upset...
Wrote review on TRUSTPILOT and Vfs response me to DM my details. After providing all the evidence they still deny my refund. VFS should close their very poor service. Need further legal action.

Look forward to a crap website, useless customer support 'there is a problem with the website, try later'. The mystery is why the US and so many countries choose to rely on this Mickey Mouse operation.

My experience on applying for visa been terrible. I had an urgent matter and waited a long time until I saw an available appointment. After some time there was finally one available time, I tried to book it and an error message came up. I was redoing it several times still it didnt work. I have contacted the company several times without any response, terrible service. This was almost 2 months ago ever since then I been logging in everyday to see if theres any available appointments and finally today there was 2 available appointment to book. I tried booking today several times without any success. Error message once again came up. I tied to book so many times until the available appointment disappeared, it got fully booked. The error messages that keep coming up on your website is something you have to fix. The company don't care for people who really have an urgent matter. They are not there to help or assist you when a problem comes up on the website.
Having booked an Indian holiday, we are now stressed out wondering if we'll ever get visas. The VFS step by step visa application process fails at step 2 when you cannot even get an online application form! So what the heck are you then meant to do? Trying phoning is a joke. This incompetent shower should be deported to a barren island and then made to endure their own visa application process.
