This has been a horrible experience, trying to submit a visa application for India through the VFS Global website. The pages constantly crash, then there are bugs at the payment page, then there are no online help options but a 2.48 USD per minute calling option, that won't resolve anything, they only collect your information (like spelling your name 10 times, your email 5 times, etc) just to tell you a technical agent will take a look for you in the next 72 HOURS!
All website error messages are ambiguous and do not lead to a solution. I have been waiting for the response to my call and to my emails without knowing if it is really processing my requests.
It is unfortunate that a great country like India has to rely in such a poor service provider like VFS Global.
VFS visa office always makes me feel like a second-class human being. You know what I hate EU and the countries that belong to this union. I am much more than you can ask for. This disgusting visa office is quite offensive. None of you deserve my money and time but unfortunately, this corrupted system forces me to get to a European country to attend a conference to present my precious work! I am just wasting my time! History is repetitive and this arrogance will end one day.
Impossible to join people knowledgeable about your file. Site is full of bug and redirect to wrong page.
You must set a line for people capable to assist given that your online process is not working.

We submitted cancellation of Indian passport on November 8 till now we didn't get any response from them. Every week I'm calling to get information no further process. We don't know for cancellation passport they taken so much time very disappointed
They lost our biometrics and called us 18 days after our interview that we need to go to NY office again as soon as possible. We live in Boston and were not compensated for our travel. They sent a text message from a private number without an email thread to keep hiding behind their mistake.
Hard to call them and speak to someone regarding my passport. No one gives a $#*! they don't back their service you can get your passport back whilst application is being processed. Don't use this company!
They are bunch of morons sitting on counter and make their own rules. They make you wait for long time and for a small thing they again send you back even the points are not very clear in any of the application form. Booking the time is next to impossible. Their site throws error lots of time. Trust me I would never ever want to visit them, it's just we are compelled and that's what they are taking advantage of.
I applied for a refund in July 2016 and it's now November 2019 without my refund being paid. I have been to their offices so many times but their very incompetent staff failed dismally to help me get my money.
These are worst kind of people with no brains and just want make more money. My passport was in a good shape and applied for re-issue as my current passport was expiring. They returned my application saying pass port binding is damaged and i need to "re-apply" with the reason saying that the passport is damaged.
The passport binding is made with such a poor quality that, if you try to take photo copy of the last page with the xerox machine, then some of stitches of binding will break. Other than that the passport was in a very good shape.
When i had already submitted all documents, i don't understand what difference does it make to re-apply again with almost the same documents with a different reason. These people don't have any common sense.
Took ages to be able to reach them via their customer care line and when I finally got through, the female staff that answered was "extremely rude" I wish I remember her name. You guys need to scrutinize the caliber of staff you employ and also monitor their activities and how they relate with your customers.
