They collect the information very well, showed it with cheap promotion. I searched two cars, first one via plate number and the second other one via vin. Vin research worked pretty well. But plate number, as soon as I paid for the membership right after I search the first car and saw that the report is ready. There was nothing. Even if they sent another link that I can get the free record. I still doubt that was the best they could.
Site is an absolute scam. RUN AWAY. The $1 report produced absolutely nothing. Then, canceling the subscription is absolutely impossible. If you call, they tell you to ask the chat bot. If you chat, they tell you to email. In the email they send you to a link that doesn't work. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.
I agreed to a $1.00 search. Only needed one simple thing. Which was under the purview of what was offered for such $1.00. The one simple thing was not accomplished. Now over 5 days they have taken/stolen $39.84 from my credit union account for 3 separate charges I never and would never agree to. I don't have that kind of "mad" money laying around. Talking to a live person is next to impossible. There help site very minimal, as for options. The only # I found gives you 2 options, if they say they will connect you with a live person, you get disconnected. This is the USA why is this outfit still allowed to be in business. I wish I had seen the 1 star rating and read their reviews. This whole nightmare would of never happened. All I know is when I finally got a hold of a live person, had trouble understanding man because of his accent. Said he would refund money, then said he would cancel membership, I never signed up for, but the charges were membership charges. After trying to tell him I only agreed to $1.00 for the umpteenth, he said they would refund my money. I don't believe him to be honest. O guess we'll see...

Doesn't have repair history, but otherwise good and fairly priced.
I was scammed like everyone else----charges to my debit card that I did not authorize. Call this number--*******073----you can cancel your "subscription" and also get a refund.
They charge you $1, then immediately charge another 29.95 for a recurring 2 week "subscription"
Even better, NOT, you do not get access to it via the email you initially provided for the $1 report.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Tip for consumers:
They immediately charge 29.95, after the $1. It is NOT in the fine print or something you "accept"

Scam. They scammed me twice. They make you think that when you buy a report for $1 if that is all you will be charged but it's a lie. They automatically sign you up for a membership that cost $29.99 and you are billed every two weeks. That's right $720 for a year. And when you call to complain and get your membership cancelled they tell you they don't have access to your membership but they will refer the issue to their team to review. Unfortunately if you buy anything from them you eventually will be charged $720 for a years membership you never purchased and you. Please don't ever buy anything from them. They may be selling your debit card number on the black Market. Again. TOTAL SCAM. THIS COMPANY IS CRIMINAL AND THE OWNERS NEED TO BE THROWN IN JAIL!
Tip for consumers:
VIN number look up. scam. NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. IF YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY WITHOUT KNOWING IT YOU ARE SIGNED UP FOR A YEARLY MEMBERSHIP THAT COST YOU $720 A YEAR THAT IS CHARGED $29.99 EVERY 2 WEEKS AND GET THIS THEY DON'T PUT THEIR COMPANY NAME ON YOUR BANK STATEMENT OR WEBSITE. They use the name "PERSONALITY QUIZLET" when they bill your debit or credit card. So look for that name and/or they may use multiple false names. Again.its a criminal organization

They don't send you what you purchased. Claim they'll refund your money and cancel subscription. Lies. I now have to get a new card so they have no access to my account

I never received the project that they drew money out of my account for.. They claimed they would pay me back. They claimed that they would close my account. Both things that I requested. Never heard from them again.
I got a really good and detailed report for only $1. Great value for the money!
They make you believe you get a report for just a $1.00, but charge you $29.95, and they charge that every 2 weeks. Kenny has the worst customer service as well. Would not recommend!
Super fast super cheap very helpful got everything I needed and more
I wanted to check out the vin number for a vehicle. I did a search for carfax. I saw an ad for $1.00 to check out a vin number. I put the vin number in and watched as all of this supposed scanning took place. Then I needed to put in my payment information. Immediately I get a message about the charge. I should have stopped right then and checked out why, but I didn't. I thought things were okay. Boy was I wrong. I said let the transaction go ahead. Immediately I got a notice from my credit card for a $29.95 charge. What the hell? I started chatting with them and they told me you have to sign up for a recurring monthly payment. What the hell? What happened to the $1.00 vin number check? It doesn't exist. That is just the scam to get your credit card information. I told them I didn't sign up for that and I wanted the charges reversed. I gave them my email and the last six digits of my card. I received a generic email about a cancellation. The next day I get a strange $4.95 charge. What the hell? The credit card company had already stopped that charge. They are getting me a new card. My credit card reversed all the charges. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMERS!

The same story. My husband went on and paid $1 on 7/14, then we got a $29.95 charge the same day! 7/15, we got a $4.95 charge. Will be calling our bank today, I refuse to be scammed!
Like everyone says...scammers
They keep charging AND they sell your CC info to others
Fraudulent charges appear on your CC statements!
Careful
Please report them: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
They say they have your VIN and will charge you $1. They will charge you close to 30$ and add a subscription to their service. Cancel immediately and report as a scam.
