Excellent sales prices on Bob's Red Mill products. Great and fast free shipping. Best packaging I have seen from any online seller for flour products. Never any problems with orders.
Spent two hrs putting items that showed up on website, it went trough and I even got charged. I received an email for delivery date and tracking. After few days Vitacost I for me trough email that 19 items out of 20 is out of stock. Huh? They sending me only a can of coconut creamer for now. I had plans to bake and cook for the weekend. They ruined my plan. Vitacost if you don't have the stuff why you put it on website and why you allow people to waste their time. Are you going out of business?
I was browsing their website. When I clicked on a product, a box with a coupon code appeared with directions to enter it when checking out for 20% off. When I tried using that code I got an error. I called in and was told that that product is not eligible for the discount and that there is an error in the system causing that box with the offer to appear. However, I was told that they will nevertheless honour it and that I should complete the purchase and that I will receive a credit for the 20%. However, I never received the credit and when I call in they refuse to assist. I asked them to cancel the order and they refused.

I have been ordering from Vitacost for several years now. I have never had a complaint. Most of the time, the order comes the day after I order it! I love it! The prices are great and any time I have a question, it is answered with accurate information.
I order from this site about 4 times a year because i workout about 4 times a week. They have good prices and great shipping and better customer services. I have and will continue to recommend this site to anyone.
I ordered a protein shake box with a discount that was advertised on their website. The discount was amazing, and I was happy about it, but when they realized that it was too big of a discount, they canceled my order without even letting me know when I called him after a week they said yes we can see that the order was canceled and when I asked for the reason, they said it doesn't show with the reason is.
This is a company that does not stand by their word. The coupon was something they advertised and I feel like they just did that so they can get my email and tell me promotional emails which they have not stopped doing since I submitted the order.

It is very dangerous to buy from this company. The site has very weak security, my account was hacked, someone got over $400 order from my account using my credit card. Vitacost didn't even informed me about suspicious activity on my account, and when I noticed that, they was rude to me and said they can not do anything about it. I stoped to buy from them. A few days ago I made another order, I receive confirmation email with order number. On their website it said, they a 1-3 days behind in processing. I was waiting for 10 days, then called them, and they told me that they have cancelled my order! They couldn't give me good explanation why it was canceled. One rep said that they send me some confirmation email I didn't answer, when I spoke to the manager, he confirmed that no any confirmation emails was sent to me. They just cancelled! This company just a joke!
Have been ordering from Vitacost.com for about five years. What I can't usually get from SwansonVitamins.com, I can get from them, like Chem Defense. One time Vitacost did not have the Chem Defense available, but they sent the rest of the order, and they ordered the Chem Defense themselves and sent it to me when they received it, they then sent it to me at no additional charge!
I ordered 6 items, they sent 2 and indicated on the invoice the other 4 items were shipped separately. They canceled the back ordered items, and never let me know. They gave me a $10 discount as 1st time customer, showed it on the invoice, but my credit card showed they charged me more than the invoice without the 1st time customer discount. I emailed several times, they would not honor the promotional code that their website offered and accepted and applied when I paid online. They gave lots of excuses, would not honor discount. I opened a dispute with my credit card company and they charged back the discount to Vitacost immediately. It would seem VitaCost is very disreputable.
This company was top notch at one time. While they still have great products... it's the absolutely horrible customer service that keeps me away. Only order if you enjoy shipping delays, off shore agents with no experience, repeating yourself, and a lack of common sense.
I ordered some Mongolian Fire Oil and Nature's Way Broad Spectrums from them and did so on a weekend. Monday morning the order was in the mail - FEDEX no less. The package delivered on time, but the manager where I am staying thought it was his and took it home. When I questioned him about it, he said it never delivered - not mine anyway. So, I called Vitacost and without any hassle at all, they offered to put another order in the mail immediately. When the manager brought in my package and apologized to me for not paying attention, I called Vitacost and explained what happened and they offered for me to keep the 2nd order as a "gift". It had already been scheduled to be picked up by FEDEX, but I was willing to return it to them and they said "No, please accept it as a gift". And I did.
Absolutely no complaints here! Will do business with this company again. Easy to communicate with and understanding.

I ordered two 6-packs of Zevia from Vitacost. They arrived right when I was told they would so I was very pleased about that but when I opened the box one of the 6-packs was damaged - one can had even busted open. I logged onto the website and chose the option to chat with a customer service rep. I told them what had happened and they gave me two options: a refund or a brand new 6-pack of the same flavor which had arrived damaged. I chose the brand new 6-pack as I really like Zevia and I also didn't want to take more money from the company because they had done what they promised - to refund me or replace the damaged item. Because of this I'll give Vitacost another try!
Run, don't walk, and place your orders with Lucky Vitamin. The first order I had with them was fine, this second order is a disaster. No shipping because and I quote, "we don't have enough help in the Warehouse to pull your order>" Huh? I called them to say the shipping address needs to be changed since you are not honoring your 4-5 business day delivery commitment. I got and email today saying it will be shipped on April 16,4 weeks after I ordered it. Guess where they are shipping it? To the OLD ADDRESS instead of the new one I had changed it to.
I always ordered through Lucky Vitamin and the few cents savings from these incompetents is not worth it. Back to Lucky Vitamin.
Vitacost has no quality control at all. As usual, I ordered vitamins from both Vitacost and Puritan's Pride. Vitacost came all stuck together, from no temperature or moisture control, while PP's were, as always, perfect. This wasn't about the shipping, as both boxes arrived the same day. It's about the warehousing and control by the company.
After being a long-term customer of another on-line drugstore competitor, I just found Vitacost has the same products at a lower standard price (with no hassle), they are not out of stock AND I can buy Burt's Bees AND Stonewall Kitchens products (which I did!). I am anticipating great customer service and hope I am not spammed to death as others have indicated. Was able to utilize 3 promotion codes. Wish they carried Honest Beauty products from The Honest Company - anyone listening? Will update review if there's a reason after receiving shipment. So far so good!
I read the reviews before I decided to order my product and I admit that the negative reviews made me a bit hesitant... I purchased FX Texture Dirt texturizing Hairpaste (if anyone cares). This product is actually almost impossible to find and the price through Vitacost was amazing considering that most other companies offer it for about 4-5x the cost. It was shipped to me from the U.S. (I live in Canada) in 6 days. Amazingly fast and cheap with absolutely no issues! I will certainly order from there again.
Well, some people like guns... other hate guns. Same here-most people (like me) like Vitacost.com... some smaller group didn't like them.
What I can say from many years (so far) experience with Vitacost.com: First of all-I'm long time customer. Their products are the best you can find online. Their price tag is the lowest online. Their Customer service is one of the best you can find online. Shipping and packing the items is the best from all online companies I have dealt during last 12 years. If you have account with them then you will receive great deals. If not... blame yourself... not Vitacost.com. This is clear and simple!

Vitacost sent my products to a wrong address (the correct one was on the order). After almost a month, I contacted them. It had been delivered to a wrong address (and returned). I requested the product sent versus refund. They sent it to the wrong address AGAIN, after confirming my address. Again. Yet again, they sent it to the wrong address (I may add... in another province, not even close to me). They didn't give an option for another resend. They promised a refund. Now they are refusing it because it was sent and returned twice. I never received it or sent it. But it is my fault, so I have to pay for it? Utter crap. Customer service was awful. Don't ever buy from here. It isn't worth the hassle.
I've ordered a couple of times from Vitacost and was pleased with their selection of products and service. This last time was different. I placed an online order on 11/13, received a notice that it was shipped on 11/14, and my credit card was charged on 11/15. I kept checking on the status and couldn't even tell from their website where it was. On 11/22, I finally decided to reach out via their chat function on the website. Turns out there is an issue with the warehouse and they are now unable to ship from there. I was told that they would refund the payment because they couldn't ship to me. I'm wondering if I hadn't called, would have I received my refund?

I've had this happen with Vitacost twice now, I've received email that says my package has shipped and got a tracking number but the package was never shipped! The first time, I chose to have them ship the package again, no problems with customer service. The 2nd time, I chose refund and customer service wasn't so great. Customer service was very condescending and I received a partial refund. I'm done with Vitacost. There is an issue with Vitacost's shipping department, and the customer service doesn't have customer's interest. There are other online shopping options that provide good deals and selection that I actually get the items without being treated rudely by customer service.
10/06/20 Noticed a sale brand was completely. Out of stock on items I tried to order. Called on chatvlinecto ask about a rain check and was given a run around. When I suggested then that they extend the sale deadline til they got more inventory in I got the run around again. When I suggested sending me to mgmt. The Vitacost employee refused. Vitacost would be better off not having live chat. I have been a regular customer but am thinking of going elsewhere. Kroger now ownes them and their customer service is much better so that may be the route to go.
I bought GABA to help me sleep after daylight savings and Glucosamine & Chrondroitin for joint pain. GABA purchase was made in 2019 and Glucosamine & Chrondroitin in 2023. Both supplements caused insomnia. Insomnia went away the same day after I stopped taking Glucosamine & Chrondroitin. This was just last week and I only took it for 3 days in the morning. Insomnia after taking GABA, on the other hand, lasted exactly 3 months after I stopped taking it. I took GABA for 2 weeks at bedtime as recommended on the bottle. I didn't feel any side effects during those two weeks until I wasn't able to sleep even for an hour. I don't take any medication. Nothing else could've caused insomnia. My negative reviews were never posted by Vitacost. Their reviews can't be trusted.

I ordered a product based on image and title ( grade b maple syrup) The image said GRADE B and title did not specify. Glenn Herris gave me a hard time saying I should read the product detail before I order and said that it clearly shows it is Grade A and could not refund me because it was clearly shown and I ordered the wrong product. Vitacost is falsely adversing products. He said there is a disclaimer saying item received may be different than what is pictured. I would think this is right if the label or packaging has been updated. We have been using vitacost for years and never had this type of experience. I will not order from this site again because who has time to compare images and read product detail to make sure it is right? How do I know what is right product, the image or the description? Terrible custom service!

10. Delivered (again nothing was delivered) so I requested a refund. But there is no record of a refund on my creditcard account. Then, I contacted Vistacost via chat. They investigated it and informed me that it was delivered twice and refunded once. But I never got my order or refund from them.
I've now asked my credit card company to investigate it.
