Excellent sales prices on Bob's Red Mill products. Great and fast free shipping. Best packaging I have seen from any online seller for flour products. Never any problems with orders.
Spent two hrs putting items that showed up on website, it went trough and I even got charged. I received an email for delivery date and tracking. After few days Vitacost I for me trough email that 19 items out of 20 is out of stock. Huh? They sending me only a can of coconut creamer for now. I had plans to bake and cook for the weekend. They ruined my plan. Vitacost if you don't have the stuff why you put it on website and why you allow people to waste their time. Are you going out of business?
I have been a customer at Vita Cost for years. Since the transition to Kroeger customer service has gone down in standards. I have spent the entire day asking for manager and supervisors to resolve my problem with their customer order taker over the phone. The customer rep. By the name of Cynthia and Malik and another male who I did not get his name has really crossed the line. Rude and hanging up the phone each time. They took my order, and I never received any confirmation. They took my credit card, and they can't find my order. Cynthia was being very rude and start letting me how much she is educated and way out of line has nothing to do with her customer service in finding my order. She started screaming at me behaving very unprofessional on the phone. She still can't locate my order. I am not sure why they can't find my order if they complete my order and take my full credit card information over the phone. But no trace of me placing an order. I spend the entire day seeking a supervisor and yet I can't get in touch with a supervisor. They keep giving me the run around and keep sending me back to the order line. Horrible customer service. Dreadful. I would like the CEO of Kroger Rodney McMullen to investigate as to why this poor customer service which I never had before.

Vitacost's prices are good. However, there is no customer service - it doesn't exist. I'm a long-time customer with a PayPal account. Today, for no apparent reason, my order wouldn't go through PayPal. After multiple attempts and checking the PayPal site - with no issues at all, I called the Order phone number. The first woman who answered hung up after about 5 seconds. On the second call, the 2nd woman hung up after I gave her ALL of the information of 6 products, AND my address, and before giving her the payment info, she hung up. So, one star is for good prices, the other star is not at all deserved.
I've been doing business with these people for years and HAVE BEEN generally satisfied. No more!
I placed orders for a product I've purchased many times before in mid-September of 2021. They acknowledged the orders and placed pending charges with PayPal.
Having heard nothing three weeks later, I entered an online chat only to find out that the orders had been cancelled, "Without any reason given." I was assured that the PayPal charges would also have been cancelled.
When I checked my PayPal account all of the charges (there were three orders) were still "PENDING". They have NOT been cancelled.
I disputed the charges with PapPal and they will contact Vitacost about the issue.
I don't care how that turns out. I'll just dispute the charges on my Chase Bank credit card if they are put through and let Vitacost fight it out with THEM.
As for me - I'll not do business with these turkeys again.

I placed an order for almost $400. I received an order number confirmation and they charged my credit card. They canceled my order, did NOT notify me and did not notify my credit card company. It created a huge mess and my bank advised me to cancel my card and get a new number which created a big problem as my pending payments were cancelled and all my auto payments messed up. I'm very unhappy as they would not send me a cancellation confirmation for my bank. It said NOWHERE that you could only use their promo code one time which was their reason they said they did this.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! They will relentlessly email you and there's nothing you can do to stop it. I have unsubscribed dozens of times and even contacted their help department to take me off their list. The emails never stop. They are incessant and their help department is useless. Awful company. Don't waste your time or money.
I placed a single item order. After 2 weeks it still had not shipped. I couldn't get any info on a ship date and was unable to cancel the order. I used their online chat service several times and got nowhere. I emailed them, and got nowhere. Used their chat line on 2/25 and was advised the order would ship on 2/26. That did not happen. Contacted them again via chat on 2/28 and was told the order was waiting to be picked up by the carrier. I advised them I didn't believe them and I wanted the order canceled. They stated the order couldn't be canceled, even though it hasn't shipped. I am generally a patient person but two weeks to ship 1 item and them to give me the runaround on when it might ship - I'm out of patience. Had I known it would take this long to get my item shipped I would have gone with a different supplier. Do NOT order from this company.

And all those times they had the package rerouted but didnt even refund and I had to contact the customer service for the refund, at least, refund me if you are going to have the packages sent back to your warehouse. The rep didnt even have any reason... whoever idiot is rerouted the packages without refund needs to be fired. Sticking with iHerb... and dummies, this is a building so you cant just reroute everyone's packages from at the same location...

I ordered 2 day shipping and they didn't even tell me that the product was out of stock. Then when I went to cancel the order, they told me I was only alllowed to cancel within 15 minutes of placing it. I complained and they did cancel it, but still, terrible customer service. I shouldn't have to argue to cancel an order that hasn't even shipped yet.
I have never had a problem with their products or orders. I had bought 3 different flavors of a Stevia soda they sell. When I got them, the root beer and the grape looked the same, I thought they had sent me 2 grapes. I contacted the online. I have never dealt with such an easy return. When I realized the order was correct, I contacted them again, but it was too late, they had shipped it already. By the was they ship super fast too. I am a loyal customer now! Will recommend to family and friends too!
I don't have a problem with Vitacost itself, just that they have somehow managed to arrange the slowest possible shipping! My last order took 7 days to reach me - it was a heat sensitive product, so I emailed them and complained - they refunded my money. This order, Fed Ex turned into SmartPost. The order arrived in Dallas (90 miles away) at midnight last night, and I am not due to receive the order until TUESDAY! I could maybe put up with this if the shipping was free, but it was not - I had to pay for this ridiculousness. Their shipping didn't used to be this way, but PLAN on it taking 7 days to get to you from the time you order!

They have a lot of products and brands to choose from, but it takes forever for anything to ship. Did not used to be this way, but lately, you have to plan weeks in advance for things to arrive.
Ordered and paid by credit card and said 4-5 day delivery and after 8 days I go to site and it still said processing. I talked to a rep on their site and he said canceled. I ask why and was not told but would get email. I tokes him I was at that time looking at statement showing i paid and he said no. I was right though. He said I could resubmit order but told him I wasn't going to allow them to rip me off twice. Next day I had credit card company take off charge. Very bad company and terrible customer relations.

My order was placed on 11/25/20 and was given a tracking number by USPS but they had not received the items from Vitacost. Today is 12/3/2020 and the situation is the same. I have emailed this company, tried cancelling the order for a refund on their site to no avail. I have tried online chat to cancel, and am now waiting indefinitely on hold on the phone and no one will answer after 18 minutes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Additionally, this was ordered during a Black Friday sale. I have just purchased the same items through Amazon and have paid less than through this company with so called "Free Shipping" and a Black Friday sale! This is so much bull$#*! and a complete rip off.
I use(d) vitacost, bc I take about $250 of supplements a month, and on a fixed income, yikes! Their prices made/ke it possible for me to use what I need, and try other possible less expensive alternatives, and new to me products that may work a wonder or two. I haven't had ANY problem with customer service (other than the generic form response letter being sent a couple times, but that's par the course, not reading customers letters), I even had an order that was accidentally doubled (their site, not me!) and was resolved w no issue. BUT THEIR WEBSITE SUUUUUCKS! It loads slowly, jerks around, boxes to tap in the wrong spots so u add and delete things w. Out even trying, they often say something is in stock when it isn't (for months), to go back a page, so. Sometimes u tap back arrow, sometimes the arrow up top... and a litany of other issues w the site. Honestly miss being able to order from there, but the last time took me 8 hrs to do a 2hr order, LAST STRAW.

SO much selection, but DON'T TRUST THE SEARCH OR FILTERS!!!!! part of what takes so long is the only way to find what u r looking for is to find the catagory in the drop down menu, bc if u search for sugar free by typing that in, doesn't work at all... even still, check the product details, or better yet using the images. see now why I can't order from them anymore?? far too aggravating.

I placed an order. I didn't see the fed ex truck but I got an email saying it was delivered. We have an enclosed, unlocked porch & never have trouble with deliveries but the package wasn't there. I called and the agent said they'd resend the order. I confirmed the address. Again, I got an email saying it had been delivered. Again, it hadn't. This time when I called the agent seemed entirely unconcerned that there might be a problem with the delivery service. She offered me a discount code but what good is that if I can't get it delivered?

I ordered Method foam refill which I could not find anywhere so I was surprised Vitacost had it. What I got was the gel refill which I cannot use as I only have the foam dispensers. Of course because of the COVID they cannot accept returns. BS. If you do not have a product in stock then DO NOT send a replacement without asking the customer. Beware of this company.
I often use Vitacost to buy supplements and vitamins that would cost me MUCH MUCH MORE if I purchased them at my local health food store. In particular, I buy Garden of Life products-the Men and Women's Over-50 Multivitamin/Mineral supplements AND Garden of Life's RawFit, which is a non-whey based protein powder with supplements. At the health food store and at other online companies, Raw Fit retails for around $52, not including tax (if applicable). I recently purchased TWO Raw Fit containers for a total of $56! Free shipping! When I visit family in Wisconsin, I've had Vitacost shipped there; when I'm at home (duh!) obviously they ship to my home. I always get my order quickly. They also carry a variety of foods, flours, and other health care products. I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend Vitacost. I've never had to call Customer Service, so I can't review them.

I've struggled to find an acceptable store for quality healthy groceries since moving from Washington state to Tampa. I can only get so much from Costco, so I've had to order from different online sources here and there.
After discovering Vitacost, the struggle finally ended! They have a remarkable selection of healthy food and household items that rarely make an appearance in stores. I placed my order and received it two days later in the midst of Covid, where everything has been slowing down. The package was put together so carefully with exceptional packaging methodology that I've never seen from other online stores like Target, Amazon, etc. I know it sounds weird, but I was blown away by the way they packed everything because it showed an excellence in the way they operate. Even the packing material used was high class! Lol.
