Excellent sales prices on Bob's Red Mill products. Great and fast free shipping. Best packaging I have seen from any online seller for flour products. Never any problems with orders.
Spent two hrs putting items that showed up on website, it went trough and I even got charged. I received an email for delivery date and tracking. After few days Vitacost I for me trough email that 19 items out of 20 is out of stock. Huh? They sending me only a can of coconut creamer for now. I had plans to bake and cook for the weekend. They ruined my plan. Vitacost if you don't have the stuff why you put it on website and why you allow people to waste their time. Are you going out of business?
I love ordering supplements from vitacost. Great prices and I called their customer support once because of an issue with my mailing address and they were quick to correct it. A+

I ordered 5 bottles of a medicinal mushroom supplement for my dog who was diagnosed with lymphoma. Within 2 weeks(well within the 60 days) of receiving my order, I requested to return 4 of the bottles for a refund. I filled out the "request" and some days later after going to the live chat was told no returns are being accepted and that the "credit team" reviewed my request and refunded (1) of the (4) bottles. Despite 2 additional live chats, the last with " the highest authority" (the supervisor), absolutely no regard or attempt was made by the customer "satisfaction" representative to try to make this customer satisfied is any possible way. The rep just kept typing " we are not accepting returns at this time" and "the credit team refunded 1 as a courtesy". I might add that my account clearly states "ALL items in this order were refunded"! Lies! Only 1 of the 4 requested was refunded. I would not repurchase or recommend Vitacost for the exceedingly poor customer service. Inexcusable in 2023. For the record, nothing was highlighted at time of purchase that returns are not accepted on that item. They are in sealed, intact, original packing as a non heat sensitive item. There is zero, none, reason why they couldn't be returned or at the very least so additional concessions made to achieve a degree of satisfaction.

They don’t accept returns even when items are in original, intact and sealed conditions. Refunds, partial/full, are at the discretion of a “credit team”. Exceedingly poor customer service. Zero effort made to ensure any customer satisfaction in my case.The manager was totally okay losing a customer and providing zero concessions.

Mushroom Wisdom Maitake D-fraction Pro 4x 60 ml bottle. The product itself is EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend the product but not purchasing it from Vitacost.
Prior to the last 3 years, I enjoyed shopping with Vitacost and experienced good customer service. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Instead, I have received stale and/or products (recent supplement disintegrated 1 year prior to the expiration date), missing items ordered, ignored emails for assistance, duplicate emails stating I will hear from customer service but not doing so and terrible/rude customer service from some of the CSR's. Most recently, received written confirmation/approval for a refund that should have been in the same payment form within 72 business hours, since 3/12/22. Unfortunately, still have not received it. Emails I sent asking for an update on processing went ignored. I s/w Customer Service today and they stated mistake and no refund approved. I let them know that was incorrect and sent over emails confirming not only was the refund approved, stated it would be returned in 72 hours. Now they are giving me a runaround and trying to weasel out of applying for my refund as agreed. Also, just found out they are now owned by Kroger, so that explains a lot.
I have unsubscribed multiple times, tried to reach them by phone and via live chat (no one ever answers either), and still I am literally harassed by their marketing hype. While the product they delivered was fine, I will NEVER EVER buy from them again. I despise marketing hype and harassment.
Never recomend or buy again.
One item became out of stock in my order, I ask for cancel or change the item. One day after (today) my order was shipped, if I want the product I will have to make other order and pay other ship tax!
My order was shipped one DAY after I ask for canceling. And Vitacost anwser me:" I am so sorry! Your order already shipped, is too later!"
Now I know how serious is the user support of Vitacost!
I ordered vitamins for my daughter who is in college. When I placed the order there was no indication the products were not available. I ordered Vitamin C and D. I never received an email stating the order had been placed or providing an order number. However, my paypal was charged as 'pending.' After 10 days I emailed and canceled the order. That was like calling into the abyss. Next I chatted with a customer service on their site. They said they would ask a supervisor. Meanwhile, I tried to cancel the payment through paypal but could not. Again back to emailing and there was no response. My daughter walked to CVS and bought the vitamins she really needed. Almost a month later, I received an email telling me the order had shipped and I could refuse when it arrived. What a waste of time and money when they could have canceled it when I asked 2 weeks ago. Now, they just sent me a coupon to recognize how late they were in shipping. NO WAY will I ever order something from them again. I order things online all the time and this was very poor customer service. It was like they actively ignored me until almost a month later.
They don't respect your privacy or your data I do not recommend doing business with such people, especially when dealing with health-related products.
I had purchased hundred of dollars from Vite Cost. Couple years ago they sold ti Kroger now their service has gone down hill.
In last year had several issues with buying product.
They would run products with off per cent, I would buy and next day they would send email
If you buy get better cost.
I would call and they would not even honor a 5% difference.
On April 1st got email said Cone back and we will give you 20% off.
So I spend time ordering $144.43 in vitamins thinking I would get 29% off.
Email said had to Oder on my email I did that, said use the code listed and type in.
I Did.
Got message code out of date. I just got email hour before and no where on email showed a date.
I messaged with customer service and was told to order and they would refund the difference.
Been down that road before.
Customer server said they can't give me a code.
I spend over hour deleting trying different ways but never worked.
All I can say is if you get off from them be careful, before Kruger bought them they where awesome, customer service was great, 10 years never an issue.
Now almost every time I order sorry I did.

I have been ordering from vita cost for years and spending a large sum of money and they would not honor a 20%coupon from Lucky Vitamins, they said only 10% but when I went on my promo codes they were offering 12%, it was a good thing that I did order from Lucky Vitamins the prices way cheaper then vitacost and a lot more products.
I bought 13 bags Nature's All Foods Organic Freeze Dried Raw Strawberry from Vitacost but didn't like them at all since they were too sour (strawberries are freeze dried before they are ripe). I gave a poor review of the product on their site but they did not publish is! THEY ONLY PUBLISH GOOD REVIEWS-- Dishonest business.
Be VERY careful with VITACOST products. I ordered 6 bottles of their Tart Cherry and it came today, and EXPIRES in 13 days! They are selling health products as "new" but they are outdated and OLD! Don't buy VITACOST products. THEY SAID THAT THEY SELL ALL KINDS OF PRODUCTS THAT MAY EXPIRE IN 35 DAYS! THAT'S THEIR POLICY. OLD. Outdated, won't let me return it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. At 1 TSP per day, my first bottle of six will be expired before I even finish it!
I had ordered the product Avalon Organic shampoo and conditioner, which left my hair extremely heavy and I was unable to even brush through it, even using more than enough conditioner. I met their terms (purchase in US and request within 60 days of purchase) and yet they "denied my request" to return the product for a refund. The only response I received was that a refund would not be issued because they don't accept returns on anything (unopened or not), which tells me that they don't ever intend to refund a customer, even when the customer isn't satisfied with a product. Their Refund Policy states that you can "request" a refund if you are unsatisfied with a product; however, since they don't accept returns, they won't ever refund the cost.
The company and especially their "Refund Policy" is a complete joke and it tells me that they never intend to make things right for the paying customer. I would STAY AWAY FROM VITACOST company!

I have ordered from Vitacost because I really like the products they have BUT each package arrives with something broken or spilling. Going back to Thrive Market!
I placed an order in November for nine products. After 2 weeks and no product or information, I checked on the tracking number and found out that the shipment was damaged and undeliverable I went to the company's website and was able to reorder replacements. I got a notice 5 days ago that my order was delivered but it was not. Again upon following the tracking number I found out the order shipped from their company went to several locations in Las Vegas and then went back to their company it was never delivered to me. I sent multiple emails and got no response. Today finally I tried calling and it was useless after over 20 minutes on the phone the agent could neither tell me the status of the order, or what happened. I asked to speak to a supervisor he put me on hold for 7 minutes and then came back and said the supervisor was not available. Then I asked for a refund because my items had not been delivered and he refused, and said someone will investigate it and get back to me. However I already had multiple emails with no response so I have no faith. My credit card has been charged and they will not refund for items they did not deliver beware
I bought a particular product that is cheaper at Vitacost than at other sellers. I put up with Vitacost's horrendous spam both through regular mail and email. I had opted out of receiving sales literature, but Vitacost chose to ignore me. I have had to chat to Vitacost more than a few times to stop it. I think that it has finally stopped. I would like to put Vitacost on a sellers black shame list of those who spam customers without customers' permission and/or sell/lend their customers' addresses and personal info to others.
I found another product available from another seller that was even better than the product I had been buying from Vitacost. I notified Vitacost that I wanted to cancel an order that had not shipped and return another order that was on its way. The customer representative said no problem. However, Vitacost shipped the order anyway, so then I had to return two unopened packages. Vitacost told me that it would take 14 days and 72 hours to process my unopened returns. Basically, Vitacost holds onto your money for more than 17 days after you return your item. This is bad bad customer service.
I placed a order for 5 items all in stock. I paid by credit card. 2 dayds after my purchase i get a e-mail that one of the items on there site is discontioued and i will not have to pay for it. After my call to customer service i find out that 4 of the 5 items showing in stock are not there and they cancelled my enrire orddr without telling me. Thry have already taken payment from my bank. For some reason lately vitacost has been taking a long time to ship items to you its used to be very fast shipping and when they drop it off at the post office that really isnt necessary
Last 2 orders sent back damaged. Decided to order again. Order came in a plastic bag with everything inside busted up. Been ordering for years no problems. Trying to save money on shipping I quess.

I have had problems with delivery of items from vitacost when they utilized OnTrac, Fedex, or USPS, however, they have ALWAYS fixed the situation. One time of the many times that I have ordered, some merchandise was inadvertantly damaged and they made good out of it for me! In my opinion, this is an honest and customer service oriented business and I highly recommend you all give it a try!
First time ordering with them and already unhappy. First, the website states using "promo code(s)", meaning multiple, but you can only use one. Second, the website specifies orders $49+ (or $25 of VC brand product) get free shipping. I did get free shipping, however they have you type in your zip code to find out how long it'll take (says no more than 4 days). Mine said 3 business days. They split mine up in two shipments and one I'll get in 7 business days and the other in 8. Called the company and the customer service person said it can take anywhere from 2-8 business days. No where on their website does it state that. She did apologize and offered 5% off my order. Big whoop, a whole $2.50 off my order for my trouble. I told her I wouldn't buy from them again because of my bad experience already and she stuck with the 5% off. I know a few days isn't much to gripe about, but it's the principle of being deceived and they really didn't do much to keep my business, especially for a new customer.
