Excellent sales prices on Bob's Red Mill products. Great and fast free shipping. Best packaging I have seen from any online seller for flour products. Never any problems with orders.
Spent two hrs putting items that showed up on website, it went trough and I even got charged. I received an email for delivery date and tracking. After few days Vitacost I for me trough email that 19 items out of 20 is out of stock. Huh? They sending me only a can of coconut creamer for now. I had plans to bake and cook for the weekend. They ruined my plan. Vitacost if you don't have the stuff why you put it on website and why you allow people to waste their time. Are you going out of business?
I am totally satisfied with the Vitacost Site, there are a few products that I have to go else where to get as Vitacost does not carry them. Over all I cannot find a better place to buy my vitamins and have recommended them to many of my friends. I am also satisfied with the quality of their vitamins. I have done some comparison test with there vitamins and they are equal to the best of them.
I just found out about Vitacost due to their booklet in the mail as I moved to the new location but every time I place my oder they keep cancelling it, first I thought nothing of it and then I placed it again after a few days, same thing happened and the worst part is their customer service reps have no idea, they wont provide any solutions! Very annoying, whoever is cancelling my orders, maybe send an email why? It's a building, if you had an issue with any other customers in the past, dont just randomly cancel anyone's order, who has the same building address, so annoying and ridiculous, DONT Shop them, customer service sucks
Fast Shipping, Great Customer service. I spoke with Customer Service a few times always felt they really appreciated my business. Great value for the money, A little pricey, but still worth it... I'll pay a little more for great service which Vitacost Delivers.

They got less choice than other sites and more expensive international shipping but their own brand has some great products and great prices... also some other brands they hold have good prices. Bottom line keep comparing but they are okay!
I placed an order, via phone due to not being able to process online, and used discount codes that would have saved me $90. The customer services representative said I would get an order confirmation via email. The email never came and when I checked my bank statement I was not billed. A week later I called to see if my order was placed. I was told it was not. All of the discount codes were no longer available. I requested to speak to a supervisor to see if they would honor the discounts since my order was never completed. I was told they would not honor the discounts. Good bye Vitacost!
Well, they save you a couple dollars, you have to wait a long time to get your goods. They promised three days and it's typically three times that length or longer to get a delivery. Their customer service is really slow to respond and hold times. Are hours if you try to call. You have to ask if the money you save is worth the hassle. Sometimes they shipped the wrong product or make you buy a minimum no product and sneak in that fact. They have really gone downhill in the last months

I've used Vitacost for many years, their packing and shipping were always spot on and fantastic. Now I can't get a ship date and when I contact service i'm told something different 3x and none of them were true. Ended up cancelling the order and I will shop elsewhere. If you don't have something I understand but being HONEST about it is a priority, not "it's shipping today" when it's not and "3 to 4 days" when it has been 10.

So, I had the same experience as the others here. Placed an order and the order has not shipped. Unable to contact customer service. Ended up filing complaints with the BBB and State attorney Generals office. I have been using vitacost for years and never had any issues until recently. Whats fustrating is that they are not even bothering to communicate with their customers at all.
So we are left waiting in limbo with no order and no option to just cancel the order. I ended up ordering from another online vendor and the order has already shipped and will be delivered to me tommorrow. I will say that this is not the norm for Vitacost as I have been using them for years.
However, its inconsiderate to treat customers like that. I just don't know what's going on with them but hopefully they will get it together.

I have ordered from Vitacost for several years and have always been pleased with them. They have great products, prices, and customer service. If I have ever had a problem, they fixed it right away. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
Was waiting for an update on my order and contacted them by email no response, contacted them by the chat and rep said they were waiting for information from me. Did not say what was needed and was going to have someone email me. No one ever did. Tried the chat again and no response. Called to cancel order and they said to late it is shipped. Really? So why was the order delayed and what did they want? Would never order from this company again. Have since purchased product from another company and received it already.

I've seen some of the negative reviews and am scratching my head. Kelly's review (3/9/15) is suspect, as I've been buying from Vitacost for around 10 years and never had had any of the problems she mentions. Always use a promo code and it ALWAYS goes through. I've never had anything buy excellent custer service with the company and nothing has ever been misrepresenetd. It makes me wonder if she got the company mixed up with another one or just likes to complaining. Everyone experiences an issue perhaps once in a while, but for everything to go wrong with every interaction and multiple negative interactions with CS? It sounds weird and I don't buy it. In the 10+ years we've been buying from Viatcost (we used iherb before that, but VC prices are consistently better AND we always get a promo code) there was 1 time I can remember a package took longer to be delivered than what we expected.
Vitacost loves to inundate your email with deals and sales but when you order from them (at the website clearly indicating stock) they cancel. Once the sale is over... look at that... the item is in stock!
There's lots of online shops, I suggest you shop elsewhere. People online shop to not waste time, and Vitacost is a complete waste of time!
The company allow you to purchase products that at the end seems that are not allowed to be shipped to my country. But they don't let you know in advance only until you pay then, they will let you know that is your fault because you should check with your country which products are allowed to be shipped or not!
Better companies like Iherb let you know in advance before your purchase the products if are allowed or not, so you won't loose your money.
I got scammed big time by this website. It was my first and last purchase with them. I purchased omega 3 supplement that never arrived to me so I contacted their customer service several times, but they say they are not responsible and not willing to issue a refund. I tried to write a complaint to BBB, but they still didn't care and never agreed to issue a refund. My money is gone now.
My order qualified for free shipping, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was delivered (in U.S.) in 2days, after placing the order!
Additionally, Vitacost is 1 of only a few businesses that has a terrific and important -for me- product I've used for years; (no longer able to purchase it retail nor is it available on most sites), at a better price than any other site it's available to buy from. Live in AZ., closet warehouse NV., Site says "FREE SHIPPING OVER $49 | Order by 1 p.m. & receive your order in 1 day!* I order 2 items over $49 before 1 PM, 1 of those items not in stock in NV., only in stock in SC and shipped UPS ground with a 7 day delivery. Total order $52.12, use debit card, $52.12 pending hits acct. And a separate pending charge of $27.99 also hits acct. For the item shipping from SC. C. S. Says happened because 1 is item is shipping from SC., I will only actually be charged $52.12 when order ships, the pending $27.99 will fall off acct. In 3-4 days. Total B. S., a pending amount is not available money on a checking acct., if a check comes thru this will NSF the acct.
Many times I order multiple items, site says "In Stock", 2 days later receive email that it's not in stock and will ship as soon as it is. Always told "Sorry for the inconvenience". Will no longer do business with Vitacost.

Vitacost shipped my items to the wrong address. I talked to a customer service representative (Henry) who said he would send a replacement to the correct address. He shipped the replacement to the incorrect address again. I called Vitacost and asked for a refund or replacement as I never received the items. They refused and the supervising customer service representative hung up on me. In essence, I did not receive my items and Vitacost is keeping my money. BUYER BEWARE!
Just want to say a few words about vitacost's excellent service i ordered a product on a dsaturday and it was delivered to me on that following tuesday! Ony two and a half days and one was a weekend day! U just cant get any better than this and my product was exactly as advertised! Thanks vitacost!
Tiago, above, states that Vitacost have lost their BBB rating when in fact they have an A+ rating.
I live outside of the USA so do not find Vitacost as cheap as other companies when it comes to shipping. They state this is because the company i use is more expensive to cover their cheap shipping: this is a blatantly not true as Vitacost are cheaper on some but more expensive on other items.
So far i have used Vitacost twice without issue but i would not use them exclusively as it pays to shop around and it takes a huge saving to justify the more than double shipping costs. Remember despite what these internet companies state, you do have protection with your credit card: open a dispute with your cc company.
Use them with confidence, however, if you have a bad experience vote with your feet and go elsewhere

I have ordered from Vitacost.com many times. I just received an order on Friday of last week. I ordered at the beginning of the week and received it on Friday, so shipping was fast. I have only had one problem about six years ago. They sent an order and then I received another one. They had charged my credit card twice. It could have been my fault, I may have clicked on the order link twice. Anyway, they paid for return shipping and credited my card for the duplicate order. I was very satisfied. I will continue to order from them in the future.
They shipped the wrong item and they want 3 weeks to replace it after they do an investigation. The item had free shipping and a 15% discount, I did not want a refund, I wanted a replacement. Their prices are no longer good. If you don't get their 15% discount their prices are no longer competitive. Avoid this Company!

The box came with no packing in-between glass jars, several were broken and leaking in the box. A heavy container of laundry liquid was in the box with the glass jars and the cap wasn't screwed on. Most of the order was ruined, broken glass and sticky everywhere. Have ordered from them for years, they used to package the boxes better, they are good about replacing things, but it is so wasteful and careless to pack a shipping box like that.
