Walgreens is the most convenient to my home and they usually have what I need. I did however find out recently that my prescriptions would be lower at a different pharmacy.
I spent hours, but could not get a small order through their website. Like CVS, there are many repetitive sign in requests, and repetitive requests to pick a store location. At the very end I was asked to provide "contact information" as if that hadn't already been done. Their system said it did not sell toilet paper or paper towels, which of course it does. It's possible that small food items in the store, like small bags of chips, are not on the website. At the end of the process it just got stuck in a loop and would not move forward. The App wasn't better than the web version for me. It was possibly worse. I will say, Walgreens has some good employees and other virtues. This review is for the website.
The site has great selection and good prices. Sometimes, prices are cheaper than Amazon. Especially for subscribe and save items.
Also the return policy and shipping policy is comparable with other sites.
I have been shopping with drugstore.com for many years and I thought they were great. I had a problem with the last order I placed. Coupons were offered for the items I purchased so I clicked on them and they were added to my basket with the amount deducted. When it was time to checkout, I double checked to make sure all the amounts were correct before I placed the order. The next day I wanted to check on the order, and I found out that the coupons were never applied. I called customer service and they did offer me a refund.
Today I just placed another order that offered coupons for certain items. But this time, before I placed the order, I copied the screen to an email so I could check it against the actual order that was placed. The coupons were never applied and the total of the order was more than what I approved it for. Please BEWARE of this! I wonder how many times this has happened to me in the past.
Tip for consumers:
Please check the amount of your order before you place it and then again after it is placed if you use coupons. It may be more than you expect.
Order online for store pick up... cancelled after 30 mins, even if product shows as in stock
Order for home delivery... they won't drop it with the doorman unless they can scan my ID
Order for online delivery at the store... arrives in 10 days

don't count on their in stock availability... expect to have your order cancelled with no reason
Due to damage to lumbar region of back, I occasionally use oxicodone for pain relief. My doctor submitted prescription for 60, wich will last for 6 months. 5 days later I am told they are out and have no idea when it will be in. I can order jelly beans from Amazon and immediately know when they will arrive
Terrible customer service. Bought some expensive prescription custom contacts Apparently the law is if they don't hear from your eye Dr within 8 hours to verify everything is alright they just go ahead and fill the order. Fine, that's the law. Lenses arrived and tore my eyes up. I called up customer "service" and they just explained the law to me and said they couldn't do anything and that it was basically the fault of the eye Dr for not replying and mine for not being fitted for those particular lenses. They are vision direct CUSTOM lenses! How would I have ever been fitted for them? Just went in circles. No advice, no level of sympathy and no help at all. I ended up giving the lenses a good scrub and they actually felt wearable for a time- that advice would have been nice. Avoid!
Very bad customer service. I called because I made an order where it clearly said on the receipt that I was going to receive 12 dls in cash rewards and they only returned 7. I called and the person who, by the way, was super arrogant told me that the order did not qualify for the 5. That I was missing because I had made it on the web that I had to have made it in the store I do not understand why when I made the order it appears that they are going to return that money to me when it is not like that I am very disappointed in your service very upset and frustrated because even with evidence they do not respect and do not give what they promise and as I said before the customer service is lousy they transferred the call to me 3 times and in the end they could not or did not want to do anything I just wasted my time.
I've been a long time drugstore customer and now buy all my household goods from them without wandering grocery aisles. I wish the shipping was a little faster... I know you can buy a ShopRunner subscription but Soap.com is much faster and free. The cash-back from shopathome.com and drugstore reward programs - in addition to autolist repurchasing has kept me loyal to date.
I ordered a book from Amazon. Somehow this website got my name and address and sent me a package that was delivered to me one day before my book arrived. I thought it was my book, but the box was too big. I should have looked at the return address to see if it was Amazon, but I didn't and opened it. It was 6 rolls of toilet paper with an invoice and ORDER number and they said they charged the cost to my "card". I was mad. I sent them an email. They apologized and sent me a link for a prepaid return postage. The link says if you opened the box the item cannot be returned. Then they go on to talk about all kinds of charges and fees and restocking fees if I return the item. I have decided to do nothing. They do not have my credit card number and reading the pages and pages of their return policy it looks like if you do return the item you will be charged additional fees.
Was put on hold by pharmacy for 47 minutes and was hung up on twice. I know they have caller ID, but rather than answering the phone to discuss a prescription issue, they chose to totally ignore it. Issue could have been resolved in a phone conversation of less than 2 minutes. What they did shows a total lack of respect for customers. If I could have rated Walgreens less than a one star, I would have given the store a minus 5. Now my fiancé has to go through the night without antibiotics due to the attitude of the employees of Walgreens. Simply said, Walgreens sucks!

I love shopping on drugstore.com. It is easy site to navigate, they have great prices, even sales weekly, also when u click on an item and decide to add to cart sometimes there is a coupon listed that you can click on to add to card for extra discount on that perticular item. All you do is click to check coupon and the click add to cart and it shows price of item and then where the coupon has been applied! So awesome. I haven't returned anything so can't comment on the return dept. They are quick on processing orders and usually have orders shipped out same day!
I have called the pharmacy 3 times, and they put you on hold and keep you on hold for up to 15 minutes, and then it hangs up. I went to the store and call them to see if they would answer the phone, what I witness is one person pick up the phone and put on hold. At the time there are no customers at the pharmacy six employees just walking around putting items up and nobody picked up the phone to take a call, this goes on for 15 minutes, and then it hangs up.
This is one of the worst apps I have ever used. There is always some technical glitch in the app working. Today I tried for 30 minutes to checkout. Finally uninstalled the app and used the web. The app is slow and clumsy. Some apps flow well and are very user friendly... The is flooded with useless information that makes finding what your looking for difficult. The best apps are clean and not cluttered. Not this app. It's aggravating almost to the point you want to stop shopping at Walgreens all together. So this user will not be using this app ever again
I understand that you can't get any controlled substance filled too early and the earliest I ever try to get my medication filled is two days. I have never had a problem with getting it filled two days early until now. The reason why I like getting it when I have just two left is because I have been to a pharmacy that doesn't have the medication and it must be ordered. Usually within two to three days they will have it. Now, I have to wait 29 days to get it filled. What happens? You guess it, they didn't have the medicine and told me they won't have until three days. So they don't give a $#*! if you run out. They do this because they don't give a crap about you, they are worried they will get popped with another huge fine because if you wanted to abuse the medication, you could do it as soon as you get it filled. So, you dummies want us to wait 29 days, $#*! I will wait until I run out, just have the dam medicine when I do.
I have ordered from Drugstore.com on numerous occasions. Each transaction was a breeze... from ordering to their prompt delivery. On one transaction I was shipped an incorrect item. I contacted them, and the issue was remedied immediately.
I've ordered from drugstore.com three times. The first time, it took forever for my order to arrive so I decided not to order from them again. A year or so later, I was looking for an item I can't find in the store anymore, and they popped up, so I gave them another try. I got that order in a day and half. I was impressed that a week later, I placed another order with them. It's two weeks now and that order has yet to arrive. The savings just aren't worth the wondering if you'll actually receive your items and having to follow-up all the time.
I recommend the pharmacy of Walgreen at lyon and boynton beach because most of the people who work there are great as an example there is a guy his name Hasan but i do not know his last name he knows what he is doing with nice smile. Make you feel he is your son, I believe this pharmacy is the top of good other pharmacies because of the quality and people like Hasan.
I went to the store to make a purchase to earn a $5.00 register reward. The Catalina machine did not print it. The cashier was upset at the fact she needed to call a manager to assist. The manager was upset she was called to take care of the situation. Needless to say, I left without a resolution and feeling embarrassed by the way I was treated by Walgreens staff. The store definitely needs a new Manager and cashiers that are service oriented and with customer service experience. They are rude and unprofessional. It is sad that the Manager's attitude (Chris) is the worst of them all. It's unfortunate that Walgreens is being represented by individuals who do not value their job and the role they play in representing the company.
I ordered 2 boxes of contacts from them on may 14th and they are already at my house today may 17th! Very pleased with the fast shipping, expecting them on the 20th but 3 days earlier! No Complaints! Fast Prompt Service!
Had issues with ordering prints. Eva spent 20 minutes with me, showing me the kiosk, and also how to get the app on my phone. She explained how I could use it if I got my prescriptions at Walgreens. She worked to
Adjust coloring of the print, and was very gracious. What an asset she is to Walgreens!
Dropped off rx was told it would be an hr. No one ever called so when I called to check on it an hr later I was told there was a problem with my insurance. No one ever called to say there was a problem and the problem was the girl who took my card and rx never put the insurance info in the system. So now here I am with her telling me it will be another hr before they can fill my rx. She was very rude and I am in so much pain to have to suffer over their mistake.

I am happy with Drugstore.com for the most part. I like their honest way for the customer to use their "Drugstore.com dollars". Customers don't need to enter any code nor press an impossibly small button to use their dollars.
My doctor wired over my script on Monday morning. Stopped in late Monday afternoon, was told if I care to wait, they will have it ready in 10 minutes. I said I would just stop back. Went back Tuesday morning, again, I was told I can wait 10 minutes and they will have it ready for me. Mid afternoon went back, but this time I was told if I could wait 20 minutes, they would have it ready. I again said I would stop back. Hopefully this time they will be able to pull their heads out of their a$$e$. Now it is Wednesday morning, nothing!
They carry a lot of hard to find brands, and have quite a selection. Shipping has been very quick. Easy to navigate, although it takes me a bit of time there, I want to see every thing! They have a LOT!
Well organized and stocked. A very useful store bogged down by underpaid, undertrained, unhappy employees. I go where they remember my name, even though I spend a little more I think, I like it when I am known in such a personal business as a pharmacy. Let me make it clear that it is the pharmacy that I am rating. The Walgreens store is good, the pharmacy OK. Isn't it the pharmacy that makes us decide where to go for a "drug store"?. This comes from a customer of over 50 years.
