Walgreens is the most convenient to my home and they usually have what I need. I did however find out recently that my prescriptions would be lower at a different pharmacy.
I spent hours, but could not get a small order through their website. Like CVS, there are many repetitive sign in requests, and repetitive requests to pick a store location. At the very end I was asked to provide "contact information" as if that hadn't already been done. Their system said it did not sell toilet paper or paper towels, which of course it does. It's possible that small food items in the store, like small bags of chips, are not on the website. At the end of the process it just got stuck in a loop and would not move forward. The App wasn't better than the web version for me. It was possibly worse. I will say, Walgreens has some good employees and other virtues. This review is for the website.
I had a perscription for an antibiotic dr called in for 5 pills 1 a day for 5 days. Walgreens filled it for 4 pills and did not say anything to me about the change. Get home and see the issue call them was told that me insurance company would not cover 5 pills only 4. HERE'S THE KICKER NOT ONE PERSON SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE ISSUE WITH MY perscription then tell me I can buy another pill for 20.00. MOVING EVERYTHING TO CVS PHOTOS TOO.

I placed an order on 8/15/16 and still no contacts and its 8/30/16. When I called about a week out they told me that they were unable to get in touch with my eye doc. ( I go to one of the largest eye clinics, this is not possible) I asked for the number and it was the correct number. The next bus day I called myself and had my script faxed so i could personally sent it to them. I then emailed it in. I got an email the next day saying it was too small to read so I scanned and emailed it in again. The next bus day i called and they had cancelled my order even though the guy said he could see my script was in their system! I got off the phone but then called back and attempted to reorder them and the guy on the phone was so rude saying it was MY fault that i provided the wrong information. I told the guy to review whats in the computer because the previous rep could see the info. They did expedite my order for free shipping and I did get the 25% discount offered on the website but now when i check my status they are saying they do not have them even in stock. I will never deal with these guys again. I got on the phone with 1800 contacts and they had my script verified and my contacts shipped in the same day!

SLOW called and placed an order early in the week and paid for overnight shipping... still no contacts from them just a shipping label created. Overnight shipping is not one week later still not shipped. HORRIBLE BUSINESS AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Very convenient way to shop when you don't have a car. They have everything for personal needs and more. I ordered and received my items within a few days. Very fast.
A follow up to my previous negative review of Walgreens for immunizations:
The next day, 8/15/23, after complaining online and to Walgreens itself, the Store Manager Mr. Kevin Frady called me. We talked about the situation, he said they actually did have the RSV vaccine and did not know why his staff told me they did not. He apologized for the poor service and promised to provide the correct service his customers deserve, if I would return for the immunizations. I agreed.
So the following day, Wednesday 8/16/23, my wife and I returned for our immunizations. Mr. Frady saw me, said hello, and went about his business running the store.
My wife and I went to the pharmacy on time for our scheduled appointment, went through the routine of filling out the paperwork and got our immunizations. My four vaccinations and my wife's single shot took 5-10 minutes total. But the whole process still took about 45 minutes. This time, there was no line for prescription refills, so the staff was not running ragged as it had been on Monday.
Overall, I wish the process was quicker. But my faith in Walgreens is restored. I give them 5 stars now.

Bought two greendot reload packs for $600 and then never got them. They refuse to issue a refund or help get refund with Greendot. Mint hill Walgreens is a joke.
Called Blue Cross to get referred to "correct" mail order pharmacy. After over an hour on the phone with Blue Cross and Alliance rx, then Walgreens, Walgreens says they are not a mail order pharmacy. I was like, WTF am I wasting my time with you for? Then they said they are a "retail store that mails rx", not a mail order pharmacy.' REALLY? As if patients would know that they don't offer a "mail order pharmacy" service and that they are not a mail order pharmacy. Just a retail pharmacy that mails meds. Totally unbelievable. Alos, I am hearing impaired and they refused to send me the link for the *correct* website. Of course, the internet is so new hardly anyone has heard of email in 2022. UPDATE: Wants me to provide image of receipt or email. No receipt since zi have not made a purchase, and no email because THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF EMAIL. SO I give you a pic of my custom made John Malkovich leggings.
Poor experience - went to get my flu shot - gave them my Kaiser card - said I owed a co-pay (not true) - confused, but wanting to get the shot over with, paid the 26 for the shot - tried using my HSA card - the man at the pharmacy did not seem to understand this either - had to pay with my bank card - contacted Kaiser to make sure they were still a partner, and was it correct for Walgreens to charge me for the shot - of course it wasn't, but now I have to file a claim to get reimbursed - on top of that, the pharmacy tech was pretty rude, which is not my usual experience with this store - overall - a needless and ridiculous hassle for a customer when some better training would have avoided the poor experience
I don't normally shop at Walgreens, because of the two price system it has- one for the customer loyalty program and the other for those not in the program. However, I needed to find a particular vitamin supplement and I was close by so I decided to check it out. I was browsing the supplements when two Walgreens' employees asked me if I needed help. I said yes, I was looking for a particular supplement that would enable me to take two pills a day rather than four. They looked and presented me with two that they thought would do the job. I didn't look very closely at the dosage until I got home. I saw then that I would have to take four pills to get the dose that I needed. This did not solve my problem, so two days later I returned the unopened supplement. I had paid in cash and I still had my receipt.
The cashier told me that I would have to show her my identification. I asked her why that was necessary. I had a receipt and usually at most places that is all one needs to return an item. She said that because I had paid in cash I needed to show my ID. I presented my ID and she proceeded to copy all the information from it. I warned her that if this resulted in Walgreens sending me junk mail, I was going to be very upset about it. I will not return to or buy anything again from Walgreens.

3 weeks and I still don't have my order. They blame the manufacturer. They blame USPS. They are an awful company with awful customer service. I've ordered contacts from Coastal Contacts and from 1-800-contacts in the past and have never had problems. THIS company is horrible. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
Got an email from them out of the blue saying our order of nicotine gum went thu and would ship. Problem is we didn't order nicotine gum. We don't even smoke! Called them to tell them we didn't order it. They brought up our acct we set up like two years ago to order something. Told me the best they could do was close our acct with no expanation of how or why this happened. Asked them to refund the money and not to ship anything to us, but no, can't do that. Talkt to your bank to dispute charges. The ENORMOUS headach and time we had to go thru with our bank was unbelievable. Had to cancel the card, call, email, change all the accts the card was attached to. Took days. Thanks for your help Drugstore.com, you jerks. DO NOT SET UP AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!
I buy the walgreens brand complete home flushable wipes for my family. My kids and I all use them when we go to the bathroom. I always put one in their bathroom and one in mine. My kids had used their pack and wipes within 4 days so I open my pack to wipe my daughters behind and it had a funny smell. I always buy unscented and had purchased floral scented by mistake so I figured that was the problem. I pull the 1st wipe out and notice something black on it. I start pulling each wipe and they are all COVERED IN BLACK MOLD! I JUST got them last week! I check the date and it says JUNE 16 2021! I am SOOO upset rn! My kids and I have been wiping our private areas with BLACK MOLD! I have to contact our physician to see what if any health hazards there are to us because of this. I will NEVER purchase these from there EVER AGAIN!
I have used them for a long time, and order a ton of stuff from them at phenomenal prices. They ship for free with a minimum purchase and their selection can't be beat.

Walgreens price to fill my prescription for a generic drug was nearly $1000 when other pharmacies could fill the prescription for $17. I attempted to transfer the prescription to another pharmacy. Walgreens refused to transfer the prescription. The only reason given was that it was company policy. I had to go back to my doctor, have the prescription at Walgreens cancelled, and have a new prescription sent to the more reasonable pharmacy. All of this was very inconvenient for me and for the doctor and took a long time to complete. Thank goodness the prescription was not something I needed right away.
This incident gives the strong impression that Walgreen is holding hostage medication people need for their health. That seems shameful to me.
To make matters worse, when I was ordering the medication, I first attempted to order it online. The Walgreens web site wanted me to provide my credit card to be charged without telling me how much the prescription would cost! We don't have insurance for this. Had I been foolish enough to click submit we'd be out nearly $1000. What kind of a company won't tell you how much something will cost before you buy? I feel like I'm dealing with some sort of criminal organization.
Stay far away from Walgreens, for your health.
There is always a problem when trying to refill a prescription online. I will never use Walgreens.com again. There is no email address to communicate with them. Horrible service.
I have never shopped here SO i don't know if you need a prescription to buy from them if you don't then i think thats really bad, they sell clomid, and if they are just selling it thats shocking, if you take this without being watched by a doctor you could have SERIOUS life changing problems, but they seem legit, i have talked to customer service they answer straight away..
I drop it off and within 15 -20 minutes it's filled! The other thing that I like is they don't pester you! They ask if you're finding everything and tell you they are here if you need anything!
Bought an eye patch and cotton balls, all store prices are ~20% extra than online prices, and they will not price match. Horrible. They should close their stores and stay online only.

Generally you rush to pharmacies for emergencies, as you can't wait till you buy online and receive the same. This is the advantage Walgreens is taking, charging 20% extra in store, try other pharmacies like Walmart, Publix, Target, etc.

Walgreens at"542 River Hwy, Mooresville, NC *******" ……. By far the WORST customer service at any Walgreens I have ever been to. This is my third time calling corporate with my concerns about this store. I am sick and tired of being racially profiled. And I am hoping corporate takes action because the store MANAGER HAS/WILL NOT. There should be a sign on the door that says "SERVING WHITE PEOPLE ONLY". I WILL NOT COME BACK TO THIS WALGREENS. I've spent so much money with Walgreens I'm a loyal customer and the way I have been treated over and over at this Walgreens is in acceptable
The last delivery I was asked to be delivers come on time. The previous - was totally wrong. In the pack there were totally different stuffs than I ordered. After some hassles everything was fixed
