Walgreens is the most convenient to my home and they usually have what I need. I did however find out recently that my prescriptions would be lower at a different pharmacy.
I spent hours, but could not get a small order through their website. Like CVS, there are many repetitive sign in requests, and repetitive requests to pick a store location. At the very end I was asked to provide "contact information" as if that hadn't already been done. Their system said it did not sell toilet paper or paper towels, which of course it does. It's possible that small food items in the store, like small bags of chips, are not on the website. At the end of the process it just got stuck in a loop and would not move forward. The App wasn't better than the web version for me. It was possibly worse. I will say, Walgreens has some good employees and other virtues. This review is for the website.
I've been reviewing my options for ordering some vitamins online. There is a specific brand that I like to use, but some websites have it particularly expensive. I cannot find the brand anywhere around me, but was able to find it on Drugstore.com. I've made a few purchases and while I cannot complain about the transactions, the delivery leaves a bit to be desired. It is generally going to be a day late, but the vitamins are packaged well enough that no damage is caused to them.
I ordered suntan spray and all the bottles came without the caps shrink wrapped like they are at the store and like the last two times I ordered from drugstore.com. Called customer service and she told me to call the manufacture because "she doesn't have the time to do that". Last purchase from them. Stay away if this is how they handle a possible tampering issue

They lied that they had a prescription in stock --FOUR times. As a result, it was too late in the day to get the prescription transferred. My wife went without eye medication for days. If her vision is permanently damaged, Walgreens will be sued. It is awful if the only way to conduct a retail business is to have my lawyer talk to their lawyer.
They are liars, irresponsible, and have zero compassion.

Had bought a bottle of Whole Blends Coconut Conditioner & the Leave In Conditioner for my sister. Unfortunately she didn't want this company brand. So I had to return it. I lost the Register Receipt but it was still in the bag with their labels on them. I told the Manager I bought it last week but no longer needed. She then told me that I didn't buy it there & in their records these items were not sold in over a month at their store. Are you kidding me? I just bought it last week. I was given back only $3.00 for one item & the other item they would not take back. I took the items back to another Walgreens with no problem. How dare this Manager of Howell NJ tell me I didn't buy it there! She should get another job. Will never return to the Howell, NJ Walgreens... Very unfair! Beware!
While they don't have everything I'd like them to have, they do have a heck of a lot more then my local drugstore. The order comes very quickly in spite of my using free shipping (free when over $35). I've had a problem with a couple of items and they immediately sent me a return label and refunded my money right away. On top of this, most of the items are the same price as in the store and some things are even less expensive.
Horrible customer service, no communication. Ordered something over a week ago and they charged my bank account but never gave me any information on the order status. When speaking with customer service, they state to check the online order status, which doesn't exist.
I just got received a Large order from them this week. All Hair care. The Prices Oh it will be so hard for me to go in store somewhere to get this stuff now.
I am a little spoiled by the prices on this site. They have such great selection, products that are sometimes hard to find in stores and they are Prompt on the Shipping

This has to honestly be the worst pharmacy in the US today. Look at their 86% bad reviews. My cancer drug was called in on Wed, then the pharmacy abruptly closes for 3 days. I must wait until Monday for my Oncologist to re-write the script for another store. These abrupt pharmacy closures are happening frequently across the city. I was informed pharmacy workers are rebelling against the greedy corporation.
I used to shop on Drugstore.com and Beauty.com religiously and they consistently exceeded expectations. They always expedited shipping and I never once had a bad experience with an order or product I received. In addition they always throw in samples and freebies, which is an added bonus and ultimately helps their sales.
They have a great selection of products with competitive pricing. I will definitely shop their again when the need arises.
I love to shop at drugstore.com since their price is reasonable and everything is shipped out in time. I had a few shipping problems from vendors being late on amazon and one time Amazon refunded me my money because the vendor was not shipping my stuff after a month. Never had that problem with drugstore.com
So you want to dye your hair, or you read about some new product you'll like to get, but your Walmart or Walgreens does not have it... Just order it and they deliver it. My orders always come within 5 days and many times even less.
Very poor corporate environment. Locking up products and making customers wait 15 minutes to buy a $4 product. Attitude from the employees when confronted about the wait to unlock a 4 product. Hire more employees labor cost is equivalent to customer satisfaction. Cut executive pay and pay attention to customer service.
I submitted a review for a product three different times, each time it was rejected. Shortened it up and made it VERY general by the point I had submitted the third review with NOTHING controversial in it whatsoever. Received an email each time that 'Walgreens had moderated my review' and to contact Customer Care for more information. Funny enough, contact Customer Care as indicated, not a single representative out of the three I spoke with could provide me with any review guidelines and they all just let the chat linger until they ended it. Abysmal customer service. The product I left a review for all appear to be positive and linked directly from the product's website. Walgreens is not trustworthy and moderates its reviews in favor of specific products - not a company we should trust or support.
Tried to order contacts because it was a great price. However, they fail to tell you right away when your contacts are "out of stock". 5 days go by and i am notified by email that they need to order them from the manufacturer. I cancelled my order at that point. I rely on my contacts and should have been notified at checkout if they had them or not. Ridiculous i had to wait almost a week then find out they don't even have them in stock. Will not consider them again.
I've shopped at Drugstore.com off and on for a few years. They've got a nice selection and decent prices and if I can't find what I want at my local drug store a couple of blocks from home I can usually find it there. It saves me the hassle of driving across town to another store, and I feel whatever shipping charges I may incur are minor to driving thru traffic, parking and so on - I usually walk to my corner store.
Pharmacist Decker from Sidney, NY, was very rude. Extremely unpleasant experience in speaking with her on the phone. The most disappointing is also the fact that she is the pharmacist manager. Not once did the staff from Walgreens forgot to fax the doctor's office, and I had to call back the pharmacy numerous times, and therefore had to go home to my mom without her medication.
I go to Walgreens in Gold Canyon AZ, there is nothing I cannot find there, the staff is so helpful they go out of their way to help you. And I buy on line also, never had a problem. I also use it for passport photos, and I have had an awesome experience. Even in cases where the passport photo was not the normal US, they went, oh gosh a mile away to make it happened so if would be the measurement required. O gosh I go there all the time because I considered it to be just great
Don't ever fill prescriptions at this drugstore. They are rude and they lie. Frequently I could not get my prescription filled and picked up until three or four days after it expired causing me not to have medication for those three or four days. Even the pharmacists lie.

If you are looking for convenience, this site is great and provides a large selection of products. However, I have personally found that the products I use are cheaper purchased in a grocery, beauty supply or other national chain store. Add shipping costs on top of that, you are paying for the convenience of having the items shipped to your door.
I have been using drugstore for years - their prices are often unbeatable, quick shipping, free shipping - the way they pack things could really be better (glass or breakables should be individually wrapped) but other than that - I will keep coming back..
I've got good experiences with drug store, because every time, when i need buy any drug it's hard to belive (for me) how easy and simple it is. Okey, maybe in all my life

Best store on the internet. Good prices, free shipping, all name brand stuff, what more can be said about them? They deliver timely and I never get any "sorry it was out of stock" messages like you do with some bad stores. I recommend this site to all my family and friends whenever they need some Visine or anything like that.

Ordered FSA eligible items on 12/27/12, they canceled my order on 1/9/13. When called, apologized and said can not do anything. Because of them lost over $300.
Please stay away or take extra precaution if you are ordering last minute like I did.
Never received packaged, when I checked tracking information provided, it showed that package is delivered, I contacted customer service with reference number, and point-blank they refused to help because of the tracking info.
They didn't care since they had full payment that's why I recommend (presspharmacyshop.com) for their legit work.
How bad can one place be? They shorted me on rx more than once. They are quick to imply you must be lying when they screw up. They had TWO accounts for same person which was dangerous and confusing to say the least. They were ready to give a family member the wrong vaccine but I stopped them. They rarely answer the phone, then are often rude. They never communicate if there's a problem. NEVER trust the automated service. It's almost always wrong. They're usually out of stock on meds but this time told me they'd order it, then didn't, then told me to call around and find stock because they're "too busy to find out". Wow. Done. I would have left before but I had SO many accounts. Guess what? I just transferred ALL of them. Goodbye Walgreens :(
