Walgreens is the most convenient to my home and they usually have what I need. I did however find out recently that my prescriptions would be lower at a different pharmacy.
I spent hours, but could not get a small order through their website. Like CVS, there are many repetitive sign in requests, and repetitive requests to pick a store location. At the very end I was asked to provide "contact information" as if that hadn't already been done. Their system said it did not sell toilet paper or paper towels, which of course it does. It's possible that small food items in the store, like small bags of chips, are not on the website. At the end of the process it just got stuck in a loop and would not move forward. The App wasn't better than the web version for me. It was possibly worse. I will say, Walgreens has some good employees and other virtues. This review is for the website.
We attempted to pickup orders in the last month and both times they cancelled it claiming a "system error". The 1st time the manager claimed he had never done a pick up order. This time the manager said that if we didn't "like it we could order from another store" and hung up on me. This happened at store #5014. The manager also claimed that all my coupons could be put back on the system. NOT TRUE! Once you use them they are gone for good. It's a fiasco. This manager was rude and childish and offered no resolution other than to reorder at 8pm at night like we can just run down there again. I think Walgreens needs to train their managers in customer resolution instead of hiring managers that treat customers bad just because we were a little upset our order gets canceled twice. Last time we spent 2 hours trying to Fix the mess and this time I wastes time on the phone with a manager that was rude. Crystal. That's all I need to say about this. I will never try pick up orders again.
I have used this site often. They usually have what you are looking for at a reasonable price. Shipping is quick. Unless the item has liquid and it takes a couple days longer. I really like the site and I have used it much. Very helpful staff.
Took them from receipt of my RGP order on 11/20/2014 until Dec 2,2014 to complete the order. Got my two pair three days later. The price of $66 a pair with the discount included shipping. Good price. I expected faster service but since I was not in a major hurry it was ok. People on the phone are quite nice as are the supervisors who kept checking to see what the delay was about. All in all I am satisfied. Their web site is effective.The vials they ship the lenses in are a new idea (to me) and keep the lenses wet. So far the prescription seems accurate. I would recommend them. They say they are affiliated with Walgreen's so that should assure us somewhat.
Good site with fast shipping. You can save quite a bit of money using their coupons and periodic rebates. The site has a few issues. Sometimes you have to pay really close attention to an item's fine print in order to click or checkmark a tiny box in order to get a discount for buying more than one of something. When you review your order before placing it, make sure all of your coupon codes, rebates, and special offers were applied. If they weren't, you can call customer service and they can fix it with you on the line. I shop at Drugstore.com comparing it side-by-side with CVS.com, and place orders with both for the items that they won by beating their competition.
I have ordered quite a few items from drugstore.com in the past. However, my last order I did have some problems. One of the items I ordered wasn't sent. When I called to complain, I will admit they immediately took care of the problem and shipped the missing item to me. I had to return one item and even though I used their shipping method and I do have tracking info that they received it almost a month ago, I still haven't received credit back to my charge card. If this is how they handle their returns, I have lots of other choices of where to buy, so I won't be buying from drugstore.com in the future.
I used to get my prescriptions filled with Prime Therapeutics mail service, until they recently transferred that function to Walgreens Mail Service. Since 8/15, I have made a ridiculous number of attempts to get a prescription filled and it is still not in process. It would seem the only possible solution would be to have my doctor transfer my prescription to a brick & mortar location. Only this time it will be CVS and not Walgreens!
On 01/04/2022, my husband of 39 years, tested positive for COVID. Urgent Care doctor informed my
Husband that his medical issues put him at a high risk and that he would need infusion. Though my husband's cardiologist assured him that he would be fine, I, still, nervous. Feeling uneasy made it difficult for me to locate over the counter vitamins prescribed by urgent care doctors.

Will never order again. They use sub-par shipping companies that either don't deliver or when they finally deliver (when you are one of the lucky ones to get your order) it's to the wrong address. Customer service is awful. Poor communication and just plain rude. And if you need a refund you are going to spend days trying to get it. AVOID THIS SITE! This is from someone that ordered regularly from this site.
I went in to get a flu shot. There was a problem with getting the insurance information to approve which finally after 2 days they did. I'm glad they tried so hard to do that. Then I go in to get the flu shot I show up 40 minutes before they close and they tell me that's not enough time go away come again another day. I already don't have time because it's taking so long to sort out the insurance issue I sure don't have time to come back another day. I was told to not be there at 8:30 as it wouldn't be enough time I show up at 8:18 p.m. 42 minutes before closing and I'm told again not enough time. I hate that this is my only local source I will look for an alternative
My order was filled incorrectly. I couldn't see clearly with the new pair I've ordered. And they blame it's the manufacture or my eye sight has changed. But, when the new pair doesn't work, I've put back my existing pair and it works just fine. How do you explain that? After countless communications, they would not refund the opened boxes. I have coopervision multifocal contact lenses that each box costs $115. Also, I had to track them down for the refund.
I have been ordering from drugstore.com since 2011, they provide great service at a reasonable price. The pros that I see are:
1. You recieve all in 1 package ( vs multiple packages if you ordered from department store websites)
2. Fast delivery, often arrives earlier than expected
3. You are eligible to Free deliveryat a reasonable bill amount
4. Rewards
5. Responsive in case you needed to contact customer service
I have been using Biofinity-CooperVision contact lenses for years, getting them from my eye doctor. I decided to get contact lenses online for the first time, so ordered 2 boxes from Vision Direct.co.uk this last October (they were much cheaper than what the doctor charges). Initially I thought I got a good deal, but I have been noticing that they don't even last a month before they start drying out, getting very uncomfortable and even blurry! I was researching online and saw that there have been counterfeit Biofinity Coopervision lenses before, so I am wondering if these can also be counterfeits. I have decided not to use them in any case and get new ones from my eye doctor again.

There are always beggards outside asking for money, some will come up to customers as were getting out of our cars. There are security guards inside of the store who would rather stay inside flirting with women customers instead of making sure were all safe in the parking lot and not being harrassed for money by beggers. I try to avoid this Walgreens for that reason, but the upside is it's the only 24 hour Walgreens from all surrounding towns and cities.
I was worried because of some of the negative reviews, but I had no problems. I ordered online, a brand name contact lenses, I received the correct items quickly and the price was good with the rebate. It did take Alcon about 3 months, but I did get my rebate from them, just be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
DO NOT send your pictures to Walgreens to be printed! They will give you trash time and time again! All you will get is wasted time and wasted money spent on pictures that are not any good! Onward to the competition - of which there is plenty - which HAS to do a better a job! They certainly cannot do any worse!

My mailoder pharmacy united with Walgreens a year ago and i have had one problem or another almost every month since.
They lose track of refills. They duplicate orders. They put orders on hold with no explanation or way tofix it. They ran out of something Ive gotten for years with no trouble and cant tell me more.
Their customer service gives wrong info. They confuse store orders with online. They tell me they cant help me or that I have to call by phone if Im online.
I struggle to think of what they could do worse except sending wrong thing which fortunately so far they havent.
Naturally they did not have normal stock item, so had to special order! Order process stated item 2 day shipping, ordered, paid. Found out 2 days later item had not even shipped yet! Item is supposedly 2 day fedex, will take in excess of 5 days. Am undergoing cancer chemo and radiation, head and neck cancer, item ordered udderly soft lotion for damaged skin all around neck. You should see me now, black, peeling, and extremely painful! If I knew it would take so long, I most definitely would have ordered elsewhere!
This on line mail order pharmacy, should be avoided, i am a 76 year senior, and my drugs is what that is keeping me alive, the most important thing, cvs caremark dont care. I called 1 week early to check if my order was going to be at my home, when due, good thing i did, nothing had been done, they blamed my doctor and everything else but themself,, i contected my doctor and sure enough they had the record of sending order in, still nothing from cvs caremark. I switched to a local pharmacy for all my drugs, my advice avoid this mail order pharmacy.
I am a Canadian resident who spends winters in SWF and own a home there. If it wasn't for Walgreens unbelievable Covid testing and rapid results we would no of been able to visit or home in Florida. I can't thank you enough for your help even to temporary residents getting tested. Customer for life!
My daughter and I decided to go to Walgreens yesterday immediately upon walking in the door, the clerk stopped waiting on another customer and yelled over to us that my daughter needed to hand over her purse to the clerk (which was a small backpack). The customer she was waiting on looked at us... and I felt completely embarrassed and confused. I asked why and the clerk cited it was store policy. Despite the numerous times I have been in that store and an associate magically appears in the same aisle as I have... I continued to return and have spent a lot of money in this store. However, yesterday, for me was the last straw... I have allowed their employees to stalk me when I make a candy run over and over again... but randomly asking for my daughter's purse when she walked in the store with me was the final act. I will never return to Walgreens again.
Yesterday I called in a friends Rx. Was told it would be ready in 90 minutes. We ran errands and it was at least 2 hours before we arrived to pick it up. Went to the drive in to pick up.Of course it was not ready. Sat for at least 15 minutes waiting.The clerk in the drive thru claimed that she had to take it to her supervisor up front to look it over. Then she said they did not have it in stock at the drive thru and she had to get it from the front. This is all while there are cars wrapped around the store waiting for service.
I had already quit using Walgreens because they never had all my meds in stock so I had to keep going back to get them. They have now lost another customer.
Aegis Sciences Corporation and Walgreens Announce Expansion of COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing was not a good thing to do. I was informed it could take 2 to 3 days for results. I believe that is unacceptable in today's world. I had testing done a Walgreens in Sarasota Florida. Now 24 hours later, still no results. I called and was informed it was shipped via FedEx ground. My sample has not even been registered to review and run the specimen. Under the impression this would be like an overnight. Apparently, this is not the lesson at hand. I believe a merger like this would have ironed out all the snags since the covid pandemic. NO stars are given. Lessons are to be learned by all management.

I usually shop at Walgreens anyway. On line shopping is easy and you get free shipping at 25.00 which is very reasonable and easy to do. I have my prescriptions there and they always have free shipping for that. When you're ill it is nice not to have to go to the store. Website very easy to navigate.
I have been calling my prescriptions into Walgreens for years. In recent months the prescriptions that were supposed to be filled at a certain time have not been filled. I rely on someone other than myself to pickup my prescriptions. When I speak to a person on the phone and they tell me something will be filled by such time, I expect it to be done. I tell the person who is picking my medication up that it will be done. Walgreens has not been filling my prescriptions as they say they will do. This is causing me to go without my medication because I rely on someone else to pick it up. This has been a difficult situation. I really would like this situation to be resolved ASAP.
