When im in a hurry I can place an online order and its ready within 30 minutes. Most locations have the drive up area and wait time varies. Thing may cost a little more but there is never a hassle getting to items or in stock or in check out.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Last month I submitted a new script & told it was early. They'd remind me when it could be filled. For weeks I keep getting reminders saying I have a prescription that needs a refill. They probably discarded the early prescription. Another prescription was out of stock without giving me a hint when it would be restocked. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAD HAPPENED. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing.
Online chat service is beyond reprehensible. It would be better if you removed this feature then constantly misrepresent and contain egregious errors like you do. Chat records are below. This happens every time I attempt to contact Walgreens.

I had an issue with my got lodged $25 refund. So, finally I received double amount in-store credit. Solomon's decision! Well done! Just made new order and already got shipment confirmation. The issue is resolved. 5 stars!

I get all of my medications through Walgreens. Their interface is very easy to use and they are very good about alerting me if there's an issue with one of my scripts.
The online part of the pharmacy runs well. The wait time at drop-off and pick-up in person... well, not so much. The one I go to on Rt 88 in Brick, NJ often has long lines both in the drive-through and inside and you sometimes are waiting 20 minutes just to pick up something that's ready or to drop off your paper script with them. They could use a bit more speed on the face-to-face end of things.

Though expensive they are everywhere so you can always pick-up your prescription or refill! Their own brand items of OTC products are also good. I think they are underrated but from me thumbs up due to convenience.

My latest order was placed on 8/8/15 at 4:11 pm and received sometime on 8/10/15! I was at work so don't know the specific time delivered. It was an extensive order consisting of hair color, face toner, eyebrow pencils, lipstick and an assortment of other toiletries. Though there were probably 15 items, everything was accounted for, and plastic wrap had been placed over bottles containing hand lotion, foot lotion, the toner, and even the lipstick. The drugstore.com reliable service and speedy shipping are next to none. I am totally sold on purchasing online from this company and having the convenience of packages delivered to my door rather than going from store to store to get what I need. I didn't think I would ever grow to love Walgreens. But over the years they have changed! Evidently they experienced a growth spurt and started appearing on every corner in my city it seems. Then lots of 24 hour Walgreens started up. Not to mention, the holiday hours they make accessible to people. I can remember last year around Xmas when most stores were close except Walgreens and Sams club. Yes, Walgreens has moved to a whole new level, from what I can see. They also run great sales from time to time. Great place to pick up personal needs and other items.

Same as the other reviewers. Went with this company over my doctor, 1-800 and Walmart because of the "overnight" shipping as I was running out of contacts and needed a quick fix for plans over the weekend. I called customer service after 3 days to find out that they only mean someone, somewhere will do something the next day. I am on day 6 and still no contacts. Checked the tracker they gave me and it is sitting on a truck somewhere (some company called Lasership). I am so beyond pissed. Guess I should learn my lesson and stay with reputable companies who have been around a while. Can't speak for the quality of the lenses as god knows when i'll get them...

Good prices on standard medicine cabinet drew me here, but they and sister site Beauty.com do stand by a color and satisfaction guarantee on cosmetics. I was surprised at the quick refund I received. Also, have a loyalty points for cash program.

I live 23 miles from the closest Walgreens. So I always call before I make the drive into town to pick up my elderly mothers scripts. And no matter how much I voice my displeasure, they are never ready when promised. It's not like I have to wait 5-10 minutes, I always have to come back the next day because they don't have her medication in stock…. Every time!
I'm done with these clowns. Walmart will now get her business.

Used this site for years and I love them. Not a problem with anything. I've had product come damaged and I've documented the damage, called and they made it right without my documentation. Over the years I've seen their system encase creme products in extra "shrink"wrap so liquid products never cause problems. Hey, everything is comparable or better in price and shipping is free. I love it. I recommend it. Great place to shop oh and if you live in most states you don't even pay sales tax.

Just placed an order for contacts on 1/22/15 and received them 48 hours later on 1/24/15 with standard shipping. Goods arrived as they were ordered. Sounds like other may have issues with service or speed of delivery, so if you needed your new contacts 'yesterday', you may want to use a more mainstream provider. However, my order was processed and delivered flawlessly, so want others to know it was a great deal for me.

Terrible experience. Ordered Xmas cards. They called and said machine was broken. I went online to change the store for a different pick up place. Could not get the other order changed. Tried Live chat. Of course, that was not working (it use to). On hold using my land line and have been waiting for over 30 minutes. No updates on how long to expect to wait. I would just cancel it but it is still "pending". It was a 100 card order so cannot lose the money. Will not use them again for Cards. My other option is to wait until after the first of the year when they expect their photo machine to be repaired. Really?

One star is way too generous... just continuously terrible overall. Poor customer service, incorrect prescriptions, no one to take my call when calling in a prescription for a patient, late filling times on prescriptions... I wish someone would take over and fix things. Unfortunately, I think it's just too far gone. CHANGE PHARMACIES. There is no need to go through all of this every time you need a prescription. Plenty of other places who want to be helpful and do their job!

You may notice that Walgreens is always on the corner- in fact, a lot of major corners in every large to small metropolitan area- and often within eyeball distance to their main competitor- CVS.
Convenience is my only motivation to shop there, as I am often willing to forego discount prices elsewhere for the convenience of being able to drive only a few blocks to get what I need or want.
Walgreens drive-through pharmacy is also convenient, and better for me than having to walk-in just for a prescription, after having dental surgery and still bleeding or slobbering all over myself in public.

In the last year, for varied reasons, both my daughters have changed shampoos six to eight times. For every different choice Walgreens was the place to shop. The selection is generous and the prices are competitive. They also carry almost any cosmetic a teenager can want!

I understand pharmacies have a lot of important things to do however, it seems that customer service at the Niles, Mi Walgreen is no longer a priority. Even if you order in advance you will wait in the store 2 hours

Don't bother. I ordered a TON of stuff, only to have them ship me someone else's order. Mistakes happen, but the customer service was incompetent in their best moments. One week, two calls, and a couple emails, and the best they could do was offer a refund. Avoid this site.

I always use Walgreens as my pharmacy, because they're usually fairly nice people and it doesn't usually take too long to fill a prescription. I have stopped in there to grab one or two things on the shelf, but I think the prices are a little higher than going to another store. It is nice you can find these pharmacies in some bigger cities, because I had a hard time finding anything of the sort in certain major cities' downtown areas.

The 3 different Walgreens in my area all have excellent service. I'm always greeted when I walk in and always asked if I need help looking for anything and if they do not have it, they will check their system for the closest Walgreens that does. I've never had a bad experience there and it is so much faster than larger shopping areas. Walgreens in Allen, TX are employed with great people who genuinely care about their customers.

If you had a bad experience, I'm sorry, but that doesn't mean they are all that way. Trust me

I'm not sure if they're part of Walgreens, but they always seem to have the same deals, especially vitamins. They're also the only place I can still find my favorite shampoo. Fast shipping, and most of the time it's free!

I have used DS.com for many years now. I have never had one single problem with an order, ever. I prefer buying products there every couple months instead of gong out to the local drug store. They really carry everything I could think of that might be at your local DS.
I've never compared the prices because it has been so convenient that it would offset any savings I might get driving to the store. Great experience with them.

The have great item selections just as you would find in the big pharmacies, but also some of the hard to get products as well. I just wish they had more coupons and more shipping fee breaks, but other that those few things drugstore. Com is the bomb. Worth signing up for e-mails.
