Walgreens is the most convenient to my home and they usually have what I need. I did however find out recently that my prescriptions would be lower at a different pharmacy.

“Website Is A Huge Waste Of Time”

I spent hours, but could not get a small order through their website. Like CVS, there are many repetitive sign in requests, and repetitive requests to pick a store location. At the very end I was asked to provide "contact information" as if that hadn't already been done. Their system said it did not sell toilet paper or paper towels, which of course it does. It's possible that small food items in the store, like small bags of chips, are not on the website. At the end of the process it just got stuck in a loop and would not move forward. The App wasn't better than the web version for me. It was possibly worse. I will say, Walgreens has some good employees and other virtues. This review is for the website.

My husband has his insurance card that covers the OTC items in the store. Yet everytime he gets his items that are clearly marked OTC and takes them through the checkout it will say they are not OTC. Then at that point he has to pay out of pocket or have them take it off. So to make matters worse they have to void everything by ringing everything up again. Just to rescan the items again. It makes no sense to me. Even when we tell the cashier to take off anything not OTC. They just don't listen.

What a fiasco! After two days of waiting for my contacts that I paid a premium price to have shipped overnight, I received an e-mail from customer service telling me they canceled my order because my doctor informed them that I am not a patient there. What bozos - I uploaded my prescription w/ the order. But they cancel the order and then tell me two days later. This place is the worst! Don't use them - they are guaranteed to leave you frustrated and blind as you wait.

The selection this site offers for acne creams and beauty products is pretty intense, the only thing I would say is unlike going in person for exchanges, the process here is a bit of a hassle. If you only have one item to return or exchange, it really isnt worth the effort, BUT, out of the 8 items i ordered, I was only unhappy with one.

There was a extremely long line for vaccines, and it was the same line for prescriptions. Overall a very bad experience. Left after 25 minutes of waiting. It would take 35 minutes after the appointment. Do not go there for vaccines. Would give zero stars if possible. Do not go there.

I love drugstore.com, I love the promos they offer, the low prices, and the cash back deal they offer that can be put towards upcoming orders. I saved over half of what I was spending on my last order. They have unique items that I sometimes can't find other places.

I had been a fairly satisfied customer of approximately four years. Service was generally prompt and the few occasions when I had issues, the staff was very accommodating. WAS is the key word. I moved out of state and was required to change doctors. Four days after submitting my order and new doctor and prescription information, I was contacted by email saying that they could not verify the prescription. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, they were totally un-phased by the fact that I was basically out of lenses and needed this order urgently. They told me to email the prescription and that they would get it processed immediately. Four more days pass and I hear nothing. Finally, after the close of business, I get another email saying they can't verify it. THEY HAVE THE PRESCRIPTION! How the heck can you not verify that?! Now after over an hour on hold, I have no lenses, no apology, and am no closer to resolving the situation.

Good prices and helpful staff, always smiling welcome. Once in town found the shop at good locations. I found to have a good selections of articles and fairly priced. Every time I enter the shop I found something new to amazed me.

Be FOREWARNED. They will take FOREVER to ship, then stop responding to your requests for shipping info.

It has been a week since I placed my order (which is still "processing"). My prescription is there, the contacts showed "1-3 days processing time" on their website. I called to expedite (at an additional expense) because I needed to see, and was told it would ship that same day.

It did not. They really don't care about customer service.

Saving a few bucks is not worth it with this company.

Also - if you have a defective lens, you must send the entire box back to them for a credit of a new box. "There is no other way" is what I was told on the phone by Justin in Customer (Dis)Service.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

I've used Drugstore.com many, many times over the last few years although never for prescriptions. I usually shop for drug store type items such as bath and beauty products, vitiamns and supplements etc. Overall, I find the site easy to navigate and well-stocked with the items I like. They carry a mouthwash that I haven't been able to find in in stores for the last year or so. It great for those hard to find favorites. I do recommend that you comparison shop if possible. I bought Alli from through the site once only to find afterwards that Amazon carries it for $20 less plus provides free shipping. Other than that, I've had positive experiences with Drugstore.com.

After my horrible experience with Lens.com, I did a search and Walgreens came up. I checked their prices and they were cheaper than any other "Lens" company online. I ordered my contacts with NO HIDDEN FEES and received them in 4 days. Will definitely be ordering my lens from Walgreens!

I ordered a skin care product on line on Thursday, October 24th thinking I would have it the next day. They certainly charged my credit card immediately but now are showing delivery will be Monday, October 28th. From now on I will go to the local store to purchase products. This is ridiculous!

We have auto refill at Walgreens. My husband's prescription needed to be reordered by our doctor. Did they call the doctor... no. Did they call me... no. Did the prescription run out... yes. They made ME call the doctor to make sure he would reorder it before the holiday weekend. Did they call to let me know the prescription was finally ready... no. Did my husband miss 3 doses of his medication because of this mess... yes. Was "Shannon" sorry when I called to find out if the prescription was finally ready... no. Did she give me a smart $#*! response when I asked her if his meds were ready... YOU BET SHE DID. You know why she felt comfortable being a smart $#*! to a customer... BECAUSE WALGREENS JUST DOESN'T CARE!

drugstore.com emailed me its promotion with free shipping for any order over $35, but after my online order was complete, I was charged $5.99 for shipping, even though my order totaled over $35. I emailed to ask for an adjustment but was told that some items in my cart would not qualify for free shipping. Their marketing/promotion was misleading, and even after I pointed this out, they did not take the shipping fee off. This business practice should be condemned.

Worst customer service experience. Went to 255 36th St, South Ogden, UT ******* to buy SALE items, the Manager/Cashier on duty 11/05/2018 around 8pm said" We only allow 6 Sale items". I asked why my friend who went here yesterday never had a problem? The store policy been changed for just overnight?. She said " No that's store policy ever since. Never been changed" Really? I've been customer for Walgreens over 4 years and never had problems checking out. And she answered, "I've been working here over 7 years and that's the policy"..."What you gonna do with all of these stuffs anyway?" What in the world you going to ask that to customers? I have my purchased history and... before I finish she interrupts me and said "nope we can't do it" I said if we are going to eat it, donate or throw it afterwards is NONE of your BUSINESS! And she said " Enjoy eating". I will go back to the store to get her name and with my printed purchases.

The tracker is a new app that downloads to your phone. It keeps track of all things you don't want to lose. Even a turned off cell phone. Losing one's keys will be a thing of the 20th century by 2150. Most everyone will have one. It is so, obviously a futuristic item of universal ownership that it is eerie to look at the video, to contemplate the app. It is GPS, for all things we own. Myself being born decades ago, watching the video was mind boggling. The future is here, now, and not too difficult to purchase, or own a piece of. A future icon is here.

Tip for consumers:
If it fits, for you, then join the future. You won't lose ANYTHING anymore. This is the 21st century.

Ordered contacts and they sent not only the wrong color, but mixed sizes in one package. Called them to report this and they guaranteed me they would resend the next day and I had no contacts to fall back on. It took them 6 days and I never got the contacts. I called again and they essentially told me it was my fault? Left message for national account manager, no response. Never, Never order from them. No wonder they are 1.2 billion in defecit. Learn that while waiting on hold fro someone to answer.

Walgreen used to be my favorite drug store before they changed their points system. They have good phone customer service. I won't say 100% is good, but 90% is always awesome. I am happy with that.

The only thing I don't like is they changed their points system. Hope they will change it back.

I have used VisionDirect for a few years now. I've never had a problem with my order. Only two times have I needed to call customer service, and both times I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity, courtesy, and helpfulness of the two reps.

My wife and I were floored today when a twenty-something Walgreen store manager accused my wife of being a terrorist... she is Venezuelan and was trying to send $300 to her family in Brazil through Western Union... the store manager said she was a terrorist sending money to Guatemala terrorists... we do not know anyone in Guatemala and have never sent anything to anyone there... she is Venezuelan and I am a pasty old white man 66 years old and her family lives in Brazil... none of this makes any sense, but he insist she is a terrorist... Western Union is unaware of this action by Walgreen in lapeer Michigan... but I will write them now... I came here while seeking the correct government department for help... but while writing this, I realized that I must notify Western Union as well...

Don't tell met prescription will be ready in 2 min if I have to wait 30 minutes. It was literally sitting there the entire time while they continued to help other costumers. I could have left and done other things and come back if 2 minutes wasn't the case. I would have had no problem coming back but you should really consider your customers time and your own transparency to your customers. Very irritating.

Walgreens on plattspring Rd in Lexington SC is the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They tell you a date to pick up your medicine and when you get there, they tell you that you can't pick it up yet. That happened 3 months in row. I asked to get my controlled substance meds one day early and they refused. They speak to you with attitude over the phone. And it's just such an inconvience dealing with this pharmacy. After my prescription is filled this last time they will loose me and my family business.

While we did receive our order for cosmetics in good time, drugstore.com has since flooded my email address with SPAM. We never 'subscribed' to their many email lists. After three attempts to get our email address removed, each time they stated they have removed us but it would 'take up to 10 days' to take effect. What they did was submit our email address to SPAMMERS, we continue to get 25-50 SPAM emails a day after doing business with these clowns. NEVER again.
It has rendered our email account unusable.

I ordered an item on walgreens.com. First Walgreens sent the incorrect item. Then worse, when I returned the item to my local Walgreens store, they refused to refund my credit card or give a cash refund; they would only give me store credit. Then after I went to back to walgreens.com and wrote a review of the item to say they sent me a substitute item, they added insult to injury by not publishing the review.

The Customer service at Walgreens is the poorest I've experienced EVER. If you call they are rude when you go inside, they are just as rude. I understand if your busy but there is no excuse for the rudeness. I'm talking about the one in Las Vegas off of Silverado ranch.

Giving this a 3 because I've ran into an issue. Im from the United States so tried Vision Direct because I heard of the great prices, and they were great! I paid 100 USD for 4 boxes ( 2 for each eye). I received the package on the day they said it would arrive but when I opened it I only got 2 boxes ( 1 for each eye). The receipt in the box said Quantity 1 for each eye. I knew I ordered 4 boxes so I checked my email and I received a receipt online saying the Quantity was 2 for each eye. I emailed them today, so I am unsure on if they will be getting back to me. I sent them the screenshots of my emails. I am adding the pictures below, but one is the prices online, the receipt I got from them, and the receipt I got from paypal.
