Walgreens is the most convenient to my home and they usually have what I need. I did however find out recently that my prescriptions would be lower at a different pharmacy.
I spent hours, but could not get a small order through their website. Like CVS, there are many repetitive sign in requests, and repetitive requests to pick a store location. At the very end I was asked to provide "contact information" as if that hadn't already been done. Their system said it did not sell toilet paper or paper towels, which of course it does. It's possible that small food items in the store, like small bags of chips, are not on the website. At the end of the process it just got stuck in a loop and would not move forward. The App wasn't better than the web version for me. It was possibly worse. I will say, Walgreens has some good employees and other virtues. This review is for the website.
A few years ago I ended up in the ER with one of my 3 year olds. She ended up needing amoxicillin. So I drove through a Walgreens pharmacy maybe 15 minutes before closing time (on our way home) and the lady was SUPER rude. I had union insurance and she said she wouldn't take it. She also couldn't control the nastiness in her voice or her eye roll.
I had to speed across town and drag my poor sick child into a riteaid (which those people were awesome). They were closing, they didn't take union insurance either, however they said I could pay out of pocket. I asked how much. Do you know what they told me? EIGHT DOLLARS! That lady made me nearly miss another pharmacy for a THREE YEAR OLDS medication for EIGHT dollars! She had pneumonia! I paid more in gas and risked more for a ticket trying to get an EIGHT DOLLAR prescription.
You better not have a problem... customer service is lacking. I called with an order issue. I basically was told that I was confused and entered my order wrong. The most important rule I've learning in my 20 years of customer service is 'the customer is always right, even when wrong'. The rep i spoke to was rude, impatient, unwilling to help or even really look into my issue, and certainly not wanting to keep my business. I have a $50 weekly order. Given that he really didn't care about my issue, I asked to speak with his supervisor. He left me on hold for for an extremely long time, then came back laughing off that a manager was not available. I then asked to speak with another representative, at which he answered - quote - "you will just have to call back then." After he hung up on me, I did follow his instruction and called back. I spoke to a new rep who was so great and helpful. She was able to resolve my issue so quickly and to my satisfaction. It's amazing how much better an issue can be with simple kindness. Honestly, if it was not for her I would not be returning for more orders and drugstore.com would have lost a customer (and my friends!). They really need to focus on customer service. From other reviews, I see this is a trend.
Horrible customer service. Waited 26 minutes for the pharmacy to answer the phone. I was told that they have 10 customers in line. Why have a phone if you simply ignore it?
This website is great! They always have some kind of promotion to either save you money, or offer freebies. Customer service is outstanding! Love this company!
I have never had a problem with any internet business and I have been shopping online since the early dark days of dial up connections. My good fortune ended when I decided to try Vision Direct. I ordered several boxes of contact lens. They took forever to fill the order and then only sent a portion of what I wanted. That is because of incompetence. But it gets much worse. When I finally received my overdue only partially complete order, I discovered they had sent the wrong contacts. They had misread the prescription. I informed Vision Direct of their error and asked them to send the right contacts. They refused. Instead they said I could get a partial credit to be used only at website. So I have no contacts, no money and no hope they will act honestly. If you have never used Vision Direct, STAY AWAY! If they already stole from you, don't let them get away with it. Take the time to contact your State Attorney General and the FDA. These crooks will continue to steal from unsuspecting shoppers until they are shut down.
Please do not book an Appointment for your Covid test they are not responsible for the test results and no body give you a right answer they are playing a game said call Agis lab and lab said call Walgreens please save your time I ruined my vacation and my time I made so many calls and did not get any response yet after my 5 days finish from sample taken.
Do not suggest to buy anything or visit again at Walgreens
Just received 7 ordered items, including a very large (33.8 fl oz) bottle of mouthwash and 2 hair mousse. I will never order from Drugstore.com again! Both caps were off the hair mousse and one of the dispenser tops was broken off. Why? Because they just threw everything into a box, unwrapped, put some minimal bubble packing material on top and shipped. The box was large enough that everything rolled around the bottom totally unsecured. My last order was packed the same way -- a large bottle of liquid laundry detergent in with several small cardboard boxes and two small tin containers of tea bags. All but one of the boxes were deeply bent and even one of the metal tins. I called them and they offered to refund my money if I returned the damaged items to them. It was not worth my time and I wrote it off to a one-time careless and sloppy packer. It was not an anomaly! Obviously this happens all the time. I guess they figure most people, like me, won't bother to return items, and they don't care if people are happy with the condition of their order.
Walgreens pharmacy in Billings Heights Montana is horribly slow. Waited 45 min in the drive through. Inside is also slow and Pharm techs act like they're bothered by you being there.

Cheap prescriptions and deals that really cannot be beat. You actually get your brand drug and they don't substitute generics like your local drugs store.
I've been getting my prescriptions filled at Walgreens for several years and I've never experienced any problems with them. They have great prices on prescriptions.

At first i was feeling CVS Pharmacy, but after i started coming to Walgreens more often i realized its better than CVS. It got, ore & better things i never had a complain at Walgreen. Everything be on time only problem that it do have big lines at the counter, it only has 2 counters but everything is cheaper than CVS!
Lindell Walgreens has 0 customer respect or service. They do not even answer the phone sometimes. They cannot find prescriptions and have terrible management.

I typically do not take the time to write a review such as this. However in this case I was so disappointed that I felt compelled to do so. I had a simple prescription I needed refilled My doctor is located about 30 miles away but I live just a few minutes from Walgreens. For some reason this was an issue. After several minutes of discussion the pharmacy staff agreed to process. But no, the insurance card I had was missing some code so no good. That was resolved but now they needed additional information about my medical history- for what reason I was not told after asking. Then the boss said I needed to go to a pharmacy near my doctor. This made no sense to me so I wanted to discuss further but was interrupted by the pharmacist and bluntly told she was NOT going to fill, go elsewhere. I know this seems like something is missing in the story but it is not. I was embarrassed being spoken to like this in front of her staff and other customers. Needless to say I shall never step inside a Walgreens again if my life depended on it

Case in point: a few days ago I went to refill three prescriptions. Just a few of the problems:. Would not let me change credit card info. After entering order, site hung. Checked activity list a few minutes later and no order entered. No email received. Tried to re-enter order. Same result. No way to email them about their problems. For hours and hours, their "24/7" Chat said agents busy. Next day I get email from them saying "insurance problems" with the order. No way to contact expect to phone. No email. No chat. Then a "your order has shipped" email comes in! I borrow a phone and call local store. Takes forever to get a person. They cancel the order, as I request. Hooray. Next day, I get more insurance problem emails and if I don't contact them the order will be cancelled. I don't call again. Next day they ship the orders anyway!
Talk about messing up on the basics. (And yes, I moved my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Too bad because I enjoyed interacting with the local store staff.)

if you don't have a car, or are usually too busy ~ they are pretty good for the basics. to make it worthwhile buy at least $35 worth to qualify for the Free Shipping
I use these guys all of the time. They provide a fast delivery service and have lots of different products. The site is a little slow sometimes, but part from that they are awesome.
Don't pick this pharmacy because you'll have a Difficult time getting your prescription on time and they Won't tell you when they close early. I've had more problems with this pharmacy than any other
Of course I don't know what kind of systems, protocols or assorted head-office-related trash the techs and pharmacists go through. Whenever I call, I try to keep that in mind. However, suburban stores of this chain never get a prescription right.
Want a common, non-controlled drug? On back order. Try again in 14 days--7 days after you've gone through your supply.
Need a controlled substance prescription? They'll run the generic brand on your insurance, then not try anything else if it gets rejected. You call to get it run through properly, under the brand name drug, and it will take them another three days to fill it. Then the following month you can do the same thing all over again, just like you've done for the last year.
Use the app? Best of luck getting anything filled within 48 hours, even post-operative pain medication.
Call to ask why your refill request, with active refills left, has been in limbo for five days? 'There's no refills left'. Yet the doctor and their office says otherwise. Also, 'why didn't you just use the app'?
I get that they're understaffed, underpaid and it's a terrible place to work. IT problems aren't going to get resolved at the counter, they're under inventory constraints like any other business, et cetera. But please, please, PLEASE work with the people who are just trying improve their quality of life by seeking healthcare. I don't want to be a bother, but I also don't want to lose my job because of taking too many sick days between being properly medicated.

Horrible customer service with store #4197 on 8500 West Cheyenne LV NV, I had to call that pharmacy because of an issue alert in their App for my scripts and had a conversation with PHILLIP who was EXTREMELY RUDE AND SNOTTY and unfortunately that isn't the first time I've had problems with Walgreens at that location and also in South Florida. If these ARROGANT RUDE PEOPLE don't like their jobs they need to find another one AND WALGREENS NEEDS TO START ADDRESSING THESE ISSUES BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY DON'T or they wouldn't have all of the horrible ratings online, this store as low as 2.1 and OBVIOUSLY FOR GOOD REASON. There are still MILLIONS of people out of work so I'm sure they could find employees that would do their job WITHOUT BEING IGNORANT, maybe they need to start with management because it all starts there!

The Walgreens Pharmacy on the corner of California street and Spruce street in San Francisco: HORRIBLE SERVICE! To reach out to them takes more than ONE HOUR and then they just HANG UP! The WORST STAFF EVER!
I've made a several calls and ALL of them took me, at least, 45 minutes to get someone on the phone, yet, they were NOT able to help. All other calls take more that an HOUR after that- they just hang up.

So I am supposed to get 90 pills. This is the second time since Jan I Was short 1 week amd a half AGAIN! With the longest phone line, rudest people, we are so proud to say we have FINALLY LEFT WALGREENS FOR GOOD! And it feels so good to be treated like a human being again at our new pharmacy.
