Called service rep 2 days ago to cancel and was supposed to have cancel. Meanwhile my bank has a 212.00 hold on my account due to walmart charging me twice for the same item. I'll never buy from them again.
Walmart is a mix of Target, Costco and Krogers. No particular advantages or disadvantages. They have a few unique products and services and like most large retailers they guarantee what they sell. Prices are very competitive but I will not drive 5 extra miles just to get a special Walmart deal. I will be visiting their store more often now that there is one fairly close by.
I love the store itself, but HATE the lines! Why have a dozen or more possible lines, but only a very few (sometimes only 2) that are actually open. They also need to have at least two lines that are dedicated to Handicapped people and pregnant women. Those two groups have a very hard time standing, or even sitting on scooters, in line. They have scooters and parking for the Handicapped, but no separate lines so we don't have to suffer badly standing in a long line. Come on, Walmart, step it up!
I have saved tones of money at Walmart and Sam's Club, I always price shop especially for electronics and accessories. It is a one stop shop for local shopping, I only order ship to home if online due to, too many bad experiences with pick up at store. I only purchase bananas in the fresh veggie and fruit section and love that they have reviews negative and positive. I filter out the irrelevant rants and base my decision on informative reviews of product that has been used longer than a few days or weeks. My over all satisfaction with price and ease of return because I have a receipt in hand or on my phone, plus the price matching is a 99.9 percent customer.
Ordered two 32gb SD cards on 8/1 (from their warehouse that was just 10 miles away?). By 8/5 I checked online and they had just made the label? Got online with customer service and they said there was a software glitch, do you want a refund? How long was I suppose to wait for these folks to take action? What if I had never contacted them? Would the order just go into thin air? Good luck competing with amazon.com.

If only their sales staff were more knowledgeable about where things are in stores it would be much better! I ordered a big bag of desiccant packs from them; they arrived on schedule; they were inexpensive; the first person there seemed not to know where to go to pick them up. It was at Delivery!
... Poor service. Dirty & smelly store. Rude employee's (which includes the management) when you do finally find someone that isn't gabbing on a cell phone. Always out of stock on common items that should be readily available. Not the Walmart of the 1990's. A one star rating is being kind
Other than Comcast, working with Walmart.com has been the sorriest excuse of professionalism I have ever experienced. I have done business with Amazon.com more times than I can count without issue. And when there was an issue, an immediate resolution. I decided to test out Walmart.com for the first time this year and it has become my greatest regret. Customer support is terrible. Solutions to problems don't exist. Hours of time has been wasted. Resolution is none existent. I cannot even begin to understand how Walmart.com still exists. It is a painful crap show and a joke of an experience. If you value your time and sanity at all, then stick to amazon.com, eBay, or anything else. Walmart.com is simply garbage. Second worst business experience of my entire life.
I shop at Walmart Supercenters for everything but fresh meat because there's a butcher near my home who provides quality meat and seafood at reasonable prices.
Walmart is very good about returns and refunds and some of the employees are excellent at customer service and I seek them out whenever i shop there.
They also have a site-to-store option available on many products which saves a lot on shipping charges since there's no charge to use it.
Walmart is the best option for people trying to save money and their store brand (Great Value) products are as good or better than the name brands.
This is my experience,
I was looking for an item in sporting goods online and they stated that there were 11 items at a certain store. When I drove a considerable distance to the only store that was listed in a 50 mile radius, there weren't any to be found, nor previously for at least six months (according to the clerk). Fishing and hunting items don't coincide with the online inventory. An employee told me that- walmart.com isn't the same company as Walmart proper. I'm not sure what else to think other than- I won't waste my time with them anymore.
The last few months the store in Portland Texas has gotten worse each visit. The last time I shopped I had to go back to the parking lot and get my own cart. Not only is there never and employees to help with anything I always have to check myself out too. I cannot use cash or get Cashback on my purchases even though I am a temporary free employee while I'm checking out. This store as a whole is going down hill. I will begin shopping at HEB due to the better service and customer satisfaction.
This is the fourth time I have been lied to by Walmart.com representative regarding getting a return label for a third party product I cannot use-$116.00. Monday I called for the 4th time and the rep said she would forward my complaint to some sooner-dooper group that handles problems not resolved. It hasn't happened. I encourage on line shoppers to carefully research what the policy is for returns to third parties. Walmart will not advocate for you. In fact, I disputed the charge with Citibank and they lied to them so now
Gutless Citibank has recharged me for the item. I like my local Walmart stores but will never order from Walmart.com again.
Don't get me wrong, I like shopping at Walmart due to them offering good products and the new pre-ordering groceries for pickup online is awesome. BUT, they seriously need to work on the fact there's no way to find your own wishlist on their website. That's right if you find an item you want to put aside for later such as when you have the funds for it, good luck finding it. This one flaw really keeps me from visiting their website often, considering the only time I can really shop on their is when I'm buying items as I see them instead of planning and budgeting as I usually prefer to do.
If you know your store is always full of people why do you only have a couple of registers open? It's so ridiculous. I just stopped going there the customer service is so bad. Mainly at the checkout. I never really needed any other kinds of service there so they may be great.
Every single one of my 7 items shipped separately. It's been almost 2 weeks and I still have only recieved half of my order. They shipped a $2.97 pack of AAA batteries in its own box that could have held an average size aquarium. Shipping speeds and consistency are all over the place. Target and Amazon are much faster and more efficient. Would not order from Walmart.com again.
I love ordering online from Walmart! The prices are the best! Great employees, great prices and excellent service, that is a place I want to shop. Have had issues as far as bottles leaking or damaged packages. But customer service always responds quickly and will reship the item. I highly recommend this shop!
I purchased numerous items for my daughter on the website. Everything arrived in excellent condition, but on 3 or 4 different days. So rather than shipping it all at once, the shipment was split up. So UPS was at my home numerous times during that week. My dog was not enthused about that
Ordered outdoor furniture online and paid additional for home delivery. They hired an outside company to deliver who would only make appointments for weekdays 11-5. I can't take a day off work to have patio furniture delivered and a 6 hour window? I called customer service and a VERY rude person named Sereda argued with me instead of helping me. I cancelled the order and am still waiting a refund. I will NEVER order from walmart.com again.
I shop at walmart.com nearly every week. I live over 100 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart store. It is very convenient for me to shop online. I find their new shopping pass program well worth the cost. I have had only one problem and customer service was great. They sent a missing item right away and the rep I spoke to couldn't have been nicer.
As a tax payer my experience with Walmart is one of exasperation. Walmart is the worlds largest employer BUT they refuse to pay their workers a LIVING wage in spite of raking in 481.32 billion U.S. dollars this past year. So what you say? Well if you are a U.S. taxpayer the food stamps, section 8 housing, and medicaid that Walmarts underpaid employees qualify for cost U.S. taxpayers an estimated $6.2 BILLION per year! Call corporate headquarters and tell them to step up and pay their workers a living wage because you are tired of subsidizing such a fabulously profitable corporation's labor costs!
Buyer Beware! Walmart.com lists the same products at different prices on their website. On will be super low then add a high delivery fee, the other will be higher with free delivery.
When you order more of the lower priced item to qualify for free delivery, when buying it will say "only in store pick-up." Then they will not fill the order at the lower price and give you some lame excuse like out of stock, etc... when questioned their help center said "we reserve the right to change an order at any time". Sounds like BBB needs to look into this Bait & Switch tactic.

I shop here often since it is close to my home. Most of the time I am pleased with what I buy. It is easy to return products with or without a receipt except for food products, which you must have a receipt for. Prices on drug products are much cheaper than at a drug store. Clothing is not the highest quality, after all it is WalMart. Happy shopping, my friends.
I ordered item on April 27 and received email with notification. The status of the order was shipped and at Walmart sorting facility with the tracking number (UPS #1Z**************). It should be picked up from local store on May 5. However, items i ordered never had updated status after April 28. I have been contacting both store and online costume services more than 5 times. Never get any help. I called *******6278 again today (May 5). The automatic answer machine said " there is no any order within 90 days " from my account. What wrong with Walmart.com?

I spent literally hours trying to register for free grocery pick up at Walmart. To make very long story short, I re-registered a half dozen times bc the site would freeze and I couldn't even get back into my original account much less get my shopping list back. I sent customer service a couple of messages and the response was to call Walmart. I did. No help. When I finally got through, they said I could try again tomorrow. Really?
I'd never tried to use this service before, and I won't again after hours of bs. Get your roll backs and whatever else in line Walmart. Your customer service sucks, not at just this location but I've lived all over the U.S. and have yet to find a location that stood out in a positive way. There are never enough registers open and the people that work there are the last that want to help you. Maybe bc by the time you catch up with the them they have no idea where anything is or how to help you find someone who does. Tighten up Wally World.
