The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
I bought glasses from here twice. First time there were no stores to get frames adjusted, and no real issue. Pricey glasses compared to other online vendors who seem to be able to turn out as quality product.
Fast forward a few years, I decided on a new pair from WB and another vendor to mix it up. Other vendor have not had a scratch my my 6-month lenses yet, NO adjustment, seemingly great everything. WP? Ugh. Glasses are heavy, seem quality but literally have not worn them much* and I have scratches already. Glasses feel heavy but not ok bc they hurt. Have gone to them 3+ times to get adjustments and almost every person has barely fixed a thing. Problem is the mask that you can't take off. Also staff at the door could learn some manners. On top of that staff seems uneducated on product... I think I'm officially breaking up. I'll save my money and stick with the other no-hassle vendor I found. I just don't have time to screw around to see especially after dropping $$$ to do so. Not worth it!
Tip for consumers:
No one at store knows how to adjust frames

Over-hyped, over-priced, crappy quality. I've had my glasses readjusted three times and they still don't fit. The people who work there don't know what they are doing. Huge disappointment.
So these aren't the absolute highest quality glasses and I've had a couple issues, but I've owned several WP frames as well as several pairs from the quick online glasses places and WP have been by far the nicest. They're as good as the overpriced ones at your local optometrist. Most have been great and lasted for years. My most recent pair broke at the bridge in a very strange way, I think it was an imperfection in the material or some kind of fluke--it was weird. They replaced them expensive progressive lenses and all and got the order going immediately without wanting me to return the old ones first. I thought that was really nice. I also accidentally sent an order to the wrong address and they were super responsive and helpful. Also I once ordered a pair with progressive lenses and then sunglasses without the progressives and they reached out to make sure that was correct. So yeah, I've had issues, but those happen sometimes and they've always been helpful and quick correcting them.

I have had my ames glasses for two years and love them. Ordered a new pair because my prescription changed and the quality has gone WAYYYYYY DOWNNNN despite being the same price. The bottom "Stainless steel" part that looks stainless on my old glasses now looks cheep and plasticy fake metal looking. Even the written stamping on the inside of the arms is less precise and overall I'm just so sad they've gotten worse more like 80 dollar glasses now not 145. Going to return and find something else.
I was gifted a pair of prescription sunglasses by a friend so went to get them. They needed a recent prescription paper, so I told them I would get one made and come back. It took me 10 whole months to get back to them. When I did, they suggested I thin my glass, because the glasses wouldn't be as nice. Sadly, I couldn't get that and when I told them that, they didn't push me as others have, previously. I really appreciated that. Later on, when I still hadn't received my glasses, I called Warby Parker Headquarters. Someone was on the line immediately. Mathew helped me figure out what had happened and adjust an administrative error I had noticed when the order had been put in again. As an apology for the wait and error, the glasses were adjusted and shipped to me (expedited) for no extra fee. So, Thank you Mathew and thank you Warby Parker for the fantastic sunglasses!
I've ordered 3 pairs from Warby Parker over the last few weeks. Experience has been top notch all around. My opinion is that they are not targeting all glasses wearers, but people that are looking for more modern styles at affordable prices. The type of styles you would find at Oliver Peoples but for a fraction of the cost.
I've returned two pairs because I changed my mind (my fault, not theirs) and the exchanges went smoothly and replacements came very fast. They already fit well but I took them to the Warby Parker store in Chicago to have them adjusted, which made them fit even better. They have a lot of different sizes so they should be able to accommodate most people with a good fit. Also love their styles. I now have two pairs of prescription glasses and pair of sunglasses for less than my last pair. Service, quality, fit, price and product. Warby Parker is a great brand and the negative reviews really make me wonder about the sources.
If you don't want them, don't buy them. If you bought them and don't like them, send 'em back!
We purchased a pair of glasses for our daughter. She couldn't see properly out of them and we complained enough that Warby Parker redid the lenses. We went to the Opthamolgist with the glasses and they are STILL incorrect and the center is a full 1/4" off of where the lens should sit. The doctor knew right away that the glasses must have been from Warby Parker is said that 90% of the their glasses are Wong. Awful - don't go to Warby Parker.
I ran across Warby Parker through a recommendation from a friend. I was a little nervous to order from their website because I'm always afraid of online shopping since it's hard to see if the product is perfect, if shipping is fast, etc. However, their free 5 pair trials got me. I quickly placed an order on the trials. I received them within about 4 days. The concept of the 5 pair trials is amazing! I got to try them on and see which one fits my face and style better before I committed to buying them. Amazing. I eventually decided on some frames ($95+$30 because my prescription is strong and lenses are thick) and placed an order. Customer service worked hard to make sure all of the information was correct before manufacturing my glasses. I expected the process to take a little over a week, but I got them in about 5 days! Super fast! I did have an issue with the angle of my lenses though because of the way the glasses sat on my face, but I brought it back to a local Warby Parker and had them adjust my lenses. I just got them in the mail today after about 5 days and I absolutely love them! They were the perfect price, style, and fit. I'm so happy I found them because I'm no longer blind. I swear by this place. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends and will most likely order from them again! :)
I bought a pair of progressive lenses and associated frames several months ago. When they FINALLY came in (weeks), the progressive lens feature was very poorly aligned. I could focus one eye on a "close" subject, but then the other eye would be way out of focus — a non-starter for sure. So I took them back, and they said they would send them back for "adjustment". Many weeks later, they came back…NO difference whatever. It was like they received them, put them on a shelf for a couple of weeks, and then shipped them back. I went back in YET AGAIN, and they said the same thing, "We'll send them back to the lab and have them adjusted". Guess what, the exact same scenario unfolded. They were no different when they came back than they were when they were sent in. In disgust and frustration, I demanded my money back. After much wrangling, they finally relented and gave me a full refund. I went to LensCrafters (with the exact same prescription", and in a couple of days had a perfect pair of glasses, and saved over $200 in the process. Don't waste your time/effort/money on Warby Parker — it's a total ripoff!
VERY disappointing experience with Warby Parker. I bought a pair of reading glasses from a store in Atlanta. They arrived today and didn't include the strength I requested, they were just glass frames. They admitted the mistake. When I asked for a discount John, the amazing customer service rep checked with his supervisor and was told no. They offered to expedite them a couple days faster. I'm leaving for vacation in 2 days, so that wasn't helpful. He was actually embarrassed to tell me. With everything they profess on tv, when push comes to shove, they don't care about taking care of customers. He offered me a discount on a second pair. Why would I ever do that? They made a mistake and will do nothing to make up for the error. Now they will give me a full refund and I will send back frames.
Anyone that knows me knows I go out of my way to give people and companies the benefit of the doubt, especially these days. There was no reason for them to refund the money and send another pair, or at a minimum offer me a 50% discount. They chose neither. Therefore I have no problem letting other know my experience so they can decide if they want to do business with them.
Had the same style of frames break twice and within a week I had new frames at no cost. I really like that they manufacture their own frames which means a flawed product becomes a learning moment.
Always excellent service, products are beautiful and superb and price that can't be beat! WP donates a pair of glasses for every pair you buy! Can't get any better! I am obsessed with WP!
I have worn glasses for 20+ years. I've given Warby 2 trys and 3 pairs... total garbage in the quality department. Now the glasses have always been so cute but my first 2 pairs, i have to have the ear pieces (legs) reattached as long as i dont lose the screw every 3 months. My newest pair is 2 months old and the lenses pop out! I am unable to get it back in and their response is to go to the Optician! No credit, no replacement. I understand the optician can do this but i shouldn't have to when they hwy r 2 months old! Ridiculous
I have noticed that warby Parker does not hire any minority contractors for their store buildouts nor their systems upgrades. Its very disturbing and seems to be a pervasive issue..
Completely disappointed with Warby Parker. They couldn't get my shipments to me (3 times!). HUGE disappointment. Only giving one star because I have to give them something.
Glasses were of inferior quality for the overprice.
Fogged and scratched immediately upon use.
Company has zero refund policy.
Do not use these people. Prescient was incorrect t
Yea, they maybe catering to the millennials who wanna be the chicy trust-fund hipster types... wots great about WP is they fill in a gap that other optometry places cannot or won't. If you want high end frames be prepared to pay for it on all fronts. Me, i've purchased two pairs of scrips that serve as my sunglasses... i have ZERO complaints about the scrip the frames... their customer service is EXCEPTIONAL, which harkens back to the error of old school customer service where they listen to the customer and are ready to remediate problems/issues. Bear in mind, we live in a world of being overcharged for everything that is made in china all day long - everywhere - be a well informed shopper, do your homework and commit your money to stuff based on price and quality... know what you want, not what u think you want. WP has a loyal and very satisfied customer in me.
I was tired of paying a lot at my optometrist offices and lenscrafters. I've had varying types of vision insurance - even with ones that pay a lot for frames/lenses, each pair has come out to around $300. I was kind of skeptical since not all glasses are made equal and neither are faces but in order to save money I decided to try them. True to advertisement, you can try 5 at a time for free. It's easy to mail them back - the labels are included and I found their virtual try-on better than other sites. However, none of their glasses fit my face. They definitely do not suit people with lower or no nose bridges. So for me, their glasses would slide down and since the glasses do not have spring hinges - the fit is also precarious at best. Also, the lenses do get dirty easily and very smudged - so I think that the quality isn't too good. In the end, I had to break down and buy a pair at Lenscrafters because their frames fit my face better even without nosepads. I'm not sure if the Warby Parker designers really considered facial variation. I did end up exchanging a pair with prescription within 30 days for another pair, so the customer service was great overall. However, if your face deviates from caucasian features the glasses may not fit that well.
Not only they did not measure my progressive eye test, but the quality of their new frames is below what it was 3 years ago. I git the same frame and qitgin a month I had to come back to be adjusted.
This company is a scam. I fell for their home-try-on services. Scam. They are very quick to send try-ons. They are very quick to charge your account. But you will never actually see the product you purchased. I ordered a pair of prescription eyeglasses. When time had elapsed beyond their promised delivery time, I called to inquire about my order. The representative told me the order was confirmed delivered, even though the tracking information I had did not reflect they even shipped. She said, "Sometimes USPS Mark's tones as delivered before they have been." What? This had never been my experience with the postal service in my 36 years. They said they would expedite a new pair to me. More time went by. The second order never arrived. This time, the tracking record DID reflect delivery. But again, I had received nothing. I received the exact same email with the exact same wording and the exact same promises. I called again to inquire about this order. She literally, word for word, repeated the EXACT SAME THING as her colleague before her. She claimed they arrived the day prior, while I had actually received nothing. She claimed that the postal service sometimes Mark's tones delivered even when they have not been. Same promises. Same claim. Same lies. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. 100% SCAM.
Great experience--Apple like. Online ordering revolutionary for glasses. Phone support fast and smart in US as well! Got my glasses in 5 days. Fantastic quality. My new optical store.
The process has been great from the beginning. This is my first time ordering glasses and the process was overwhelming until I found Warby Parker. The 5 pair trial is amazing. You get them fast and get to hang out with them, wear them to work, get your friends and family's opinion and pick which ones you like. I found a pair right away and ordered them. The ordering process was fast and easy and i got an email when the prescription pair shipped out. Took about 7 business days just as the site says. I contacted customer service via the live chat and they were responsive, helpful and all around amazing. I even ordered another 5 pair to try because I want to order a second pair.
My only complaint, which I did pass on to customer service, is that 3 out of the 5 the try on pairs in my first box were crooked and its a little hard to get a feel for how they truly fit if they are all wonky on your face. Other than that I like the styles, the price and the convenience. I highly recommend Warby Parker!
I was super super nervous about purchasing glasses online because anything could wrong so easily. I spent 2 weeks deciding if I should order from Warby Parker and I'm glad I made the decision. I got polycarbonate glasses with the 1.67 high index (since my eyesight sucks). I followed the instructions carefully like they legit said to do lol, and they also suggest talking to your optometrist too, but I know I didn't have a reason to. Anyways, the glasses shipped in 11 days, which is right in between the time they said they would come or somewhere around that. They came in a very protective style along with a case and cleaners, so the usual. My glasses are cute and the prescription was accurate! Love them so far. The people on the help chat were also super nice and helpful.
*Note: most people who did not like WP probably did not look in detail with the instructions or talk to their eye doctor for more information like the site said one should. Or someone who has such privileged expectations that nothing next to perfect is "horrible" so yeah WP is great! Esp. For young people like me who actually like nerdy glasses :)) ))
I would think that a company that goes the extra mile as to measure your face width would provide quality glasses. However, the first pair I recieved had stripped screws. I couldn't go to my local eye dcotor to retighten them. I then recieved a new pair with fixed screws however the glasses didn't not fit my face due to the width of the glasses being too wide. Never buying from this place again. Although I do wear my glasses out and I recieve a lot of compliments, I'm sure there are other companies that will provide better service with the same types of frames.
I ordered a pair of glasses and sunglasses from Warby last summer (2018) it took a while to arrive but I needed confirmation about a prism lens and wasn't able to regularly check email (out of service area) so I chalked it up to my slow responses. I ordered another pair on March 16 and called them THAT DAY to confirm about a prism. My order was put on hold for two weeks until I contacted them and asked what's happening. I was offered an apology but no compensation. When the order was ready to be shipped, it was sent to a landmark global carrier facility where it is still sitting a week later. (Look up landmark, the reviews are terrible and Warby should NOT be using them if they want to succeed as a business.) I have no idea when (or if) my glasses will arrive and I am incredibly frustrated that I'm paying full-price for a horrible experience.
Warby is one of the few places that does prism lenses which is why/how I found them in the first place. I also love the idea of buy a pair/give a pair. And emails are often answered quickly. However, their mediocre response to a two-week delay and choice of shipping carrier has turned me off from ever purchasing from them again.
Warby, you could be great but you better get your $#*! together soon.
Warby Parker sells its own line of designer prescription glasses and sunglasses. Warby Parker is based in New York City and has retail locations in several cities including LA and San Francisco. The Warby Parker name comes from two fictional characters created by Jack Kerouac.
