The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
No problem getting glasses to try on by mail but after that this company is a disaster. Called cust service while placing my order to clarify my request for single vision computer glasses from a progressive prescription. I anticipated them questioning this so I spoke to an agent who said he was making notes while I ordered. Had to do this as there is no place for comments or requests on their website when ordering. Then I get requests by email for additional info as mu order is delayed. I send them a reply and still get additional emails from them questioning my order for over a week. Try to chat with them and gave up after waiting forever as I was #16 in the queue. Called again and can't get a reply so ended up finally speaking to a rep about 2 weeks later to cancel my order as it was still on hold. My wife order glasses from these morons as well and after not receiving them in 10 days as promised she calls and gets a cust sevice rep who tells her she will give her a "free" upgrade to expedite her order. Then the next day gets an email stating that her order has been restarted all over again. She calls back and is told that anytime an order is changed it starts over! Good Luck dealing with this company if you order, you'll need more patience than I have.
I got the five frame at home trial. Loved the chamberlains so I put in an order with my prescription from Target Optical. My prescription is strong -7.75 in my left eye, -7.50 in my right. I was worried about all these people writing reviews about blurry glasses and it looking like you're in a fishbowl. Yes when I first put them on things looked a tad blurry - but these frames are a lot bigger than my old ones and my prescription went up. I wore them the first day and had a huge headache. This is apart of the process of adjusting to new glasses though! I kept wearing my glasses all day everyday to help my eyes adjust and 5 days later... now they are absolutely perfect. I can see everything crystal clear with no headaches. Everyone I have talked to at Warby has been so pleasant. The only thing is I wish they fit tighter but when I am in a location near a flagship store I will take them in to get an adjustment for free. I paid 130$ for glasses I can use everyday - that sure beats the $550+ designer brands and optometrist offices charge. Lower your expectations people. You're expecting $550+ glasses for $130... Warby Parker goes above and beyond for the price I paid. So happy and I get tons of compliments on the Chamberlains! A++ Warby Parker - thank you!
I ordered my glasses from one of the NYC stores and I received them within 2 weeks, as promised. They had a terrific, fashionable selection of frames and I'm very impressed with the quality of the frames. However, this is my first pair of progressive lens and I'm not enjoying wearing them; I've been told by lots of people who have them that they take getting used to. So I called Warby customer service and said I wasn't sure if I just needed to give them more time or if there was something wrong with the lenses. I was connected to an incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and concerned optician who, over the phone, "tested" them on me (cover 1 eye, look this way, look that way, etc). She said that perhaps the reading prescription wasn't put it the correct place for my face and offered to remake them and send me a new pair. When I get them, I can hold on to BOTH pairs for 30 days and decide which ones are better for me. Then I can send back the pair I decide not to keep, postage paid by Warby! I'm so impressed! With most of their business being mail order, customer service is key and they really live up to it!
I would give less but the one star is for the really great, professional, quick responding customer service team. Sorry guys, I don't mean to disparage you. This review is for the poor quality of the lenses.
In May of this year, 2018, I placed my order for new prescription glasses and sunglasses in the Miami store. So far so good. The glasses arrived right on the days that they advised. Regular glasses shipped different days than the sunglasses. No problem... yet.
They seemed fine in the beginning but soon I noticed that there were scratches on my regular glasses lenses. Please understand that I treat my eye wear meticulously because it's the only way I can see AND they are supposed to be scratch resistant. I contacted customer service and they replaced the glasses quickly and easily. Thumbs up!
Within a few months, I again noticed scratches on BOTH my regs and now my sunglasses. I only clean them with the provided cloths and lens cleaner. They are kept in the cases when not in use (sunglasses).
Again to customer service to replace both pair. They again perform outstandingly! It ONLY just about been a full month and I just found the same scratches in the same places on my regular glasses.
Guys, I am done. 5 pairs of glasses and I'm still where I started. I am NOT contacting customer service again. I am NEVER going to use Warby Parker again. And I for sure am not going to recommend them.
I will take my business elsewhere.
I ordered my glasses, and they were shipped within 3 days, which really surprised me. The only problem is they shipped the glasses via USPS First Class. After waiting a week with no updates to the tracking number, i called customer service. The rep was extremely helpful and said they would send an inquiry to USPS and if the package doesnt move within 48 hours they will make a new pair of glasses and ship them next day air ups. Well you guessed it, warby sent the next day air glasses 2 days later. The quality of the glasses are superb for the price you pay, and honestly they are pretty much equal to MUCH more expensive glasses. This probably due to the fact that the whole entire glasses industry is essentially a monopoly with almost all companies being owned by one larger parent company which raises prices. Warby is owned by this large company so they are able to sell glasses at reasonable prices. Anyway i highly recommend Warby Parker, and if you have any problems (including shipping speed) call up customer service because they will be extremely helpful.
Tip for consumers:
If you have any problems (including shipping speed ) make sure to call up customer service because they will be extremely helpful.
I felt as though the entire company was focused on my order. My glasses are more than I expected. I can't wait until I can save enough money to purchase a second pair.
I live in the Cleveland OH area where our summer heat rarely gets above 95 degrees at the most.
Purchased a set of sunglasses in June 2022, wear them normally around and keep them in a clip-on eyeglass sleeve pouch on the car's visor. Within a few weeks I noticed that the frames were warping out of shape. One hot day they even felt pliable in my hand. I stopped back in the store to show them my disfigured frames, and they said you shouldn't keep them in a car. (who doesn't) Anyway, they offered to heat them up and reshape them, then said don't keep them in the car. This sounds ridiculous to me.
You wouldn't buy an ice cube tray made from plastic that cracks from the cold. Obviously the plastic resin used is not specified correctly for the use. I don't know if it is just for this frame (which I doubt), a bad batch, or what, but I was not offered a replacement, or refund. By the response I got, it must happen often. I would not buy another pair again. Too expensive, for an inferior product.
If there is a zero star I'm gonna give WP a zero star. I bought these glasses at WP MOA in April 2023. A wk aft I got it from the mail the liner of the (R) frame broke (see pics). No accidents, I did NOT drop, sit or anything that would cause it to break. As you can see the whole glasses is still very new and no scratches. Just manufacture defect. So I went back to the store to have it replaced and WP have super stupid policies of being unable to replace your glasses with the exact same frame I chose and wanted. I chose these glasses because I loved the color and the frame. But I was told they don't have it in stock nor is still producing them. So they offered me two $#*!ty colors I will never wear and or buy a new frame I like and pay FULL price. They did not offer any refunds or anything to compensate for this BULL$#*! they put me through. I paid almost $300 for glasses that broke in a week and they can't even do something to replace it or make me happy as a customer. It's basically a $#*! you we got your money and deal with it or take our $#*!ty frames that did not sell coz it's ugly. I'm a regular WP customer, this is not my first time buying from them. I bought my 1st glasses in SOHO, Manhattan. But after this experience I will NEVER recommend Warby Parker to anybody. You guys do not invest on your customer's satisfaction. $#*!ty warranty policies. It's not my fault your frame broke in a week of barely using it and now you tell me that you no longer have that design and I should just get a $#*!ty color or buy something I want and pay another $300?!? So you get $600 from me? BS!

I was looking for prescription sunglasses and came upon this site. I was not too sure about it because I had never heard of it before and they didn't have a very large selection of sunglasses. Also, the prices are extremely reasonable ($150 for RX sunglasses) AND they donate eye services to those in need. It seemed too good to be true. However, I tried out the home try on for free and received 5 pairs of glasses that I picked out. I had 5 days to try them on and return them with prepaid shipping. I didn't find any I liked in the home try on, and the ones I did like where not available for home try on. So, I chatted with an employee and found out that WP has a 30 day no questions asked return policy with free returns. I ordered my glasses, but it was taking longer than expected and I was about to leave for vacation. I called the toll free number and it went straight to an employee! I could not believe it- no buttons to push, etc. They expedited the shipping for free and changed the delivery address so that I would receive them at our vacation spot. I love my new RX sunglasses because they are great quality and I know someone in need will have glasses as well. I love Warby Parker and will be telling everyone I know about them!
I love all of my Warby Parker glasses. For around $100 you simply can't find anything better in that price range in terms of style, quality and price.
I saw this company featured on the television program and thought I'd try them out. I selected 5 pairs of glasses and they were shipped to my home in a very short period of time. When I tried them on there were several pairs that I did not remember ordering. But that's okay because I did like one pair. I had some questions so I called the company. The person that I spoke with was very nice and answered all my questions completely. Regarding the pairs that I didn't remember ordering, the woman told me that if they don't have what I ordered in stock they will substitute a different pair.
I went back on the website to see how much the glasses that I selected wood cost and to my surprise or should I say to my dismay, the glasses that I selected cost $345 with progressive lenses! Yikes! That's a lot of money and not competitive with other eyeglass stores.
I think if this company really wants to stay afloat they are going to have to improve their website because it's clunky and slow and take a look at their pricing.
Pros: Great concept
OK selection
Fast delivery
Courteous customer service
Cons: If they don't have exactly what you ordered they will substitute a different pair
Glasses with progressive lenses are WaY too expensive!
Clunky, slow website.
I really wanted to love Warby Parker. They were incredibly nice and helpful. I lost my prescription glasses and need a new pair. I was very excited to shop at Warby Parker to purchase a reasonably priced, stylish pair of new glasses. My prescription has a prism. I asked when I arrived if they filled prescriptions for prismatic lenses, showed the prescription and was told yes for an extra $45. I spent a significant amount of time trying on frames with a very nice salesperson. When it came time to purchase them, it turns out they only fill those prescriptions up to a 6 prism when mine is a 10. While I hate that Warby Parker wasted my time, I hate even more that I couldn't purchase the glasses I picked out. Now I have to buy new ones at Cohen or Lenscrafters -- even the cheapest frames are $200 more. The prescription I have is pretty common, Warby Parker should serve a wider variety of prescriptions. When I emailed them, their very nice customer service person offered me a 10% discount on pair of frames that I could take elsewhere for lenses. That sounds great until you realize they valued my time@ $9/hr -- less than minimum wage. Total waste of time.
I have never been so impressed with a company before in my life. When I first heard that you could get glasses here for 95$, I thought "what is the catch". Usually, glasses companies will hook you with the promise of cheap frames but then you get charged a lot more for the lenses and everything. NOPE, not here! It truly is 95$ for the frames and lenses. I ordered an at home try on of 5 frames. They email you when it is time to send them back. The box comes with a pre paid shipping label so everything is idiot proof. Which clearly I need because I accidentally ordered the wrong classes from the box. I was not paying attention and picked a frame that I was not fond of. At a normal place it would have been "too bad" we already made the lenses and everything. But at warby parker, they sent me the nicest email saying they would re-ship me my 5 pairs of at home try ons and once I figured out the real pair that I wanted, they would do an even exchange. Better yet, they let me keep the frames that were already made for me until my new frames arrived so that I wasnt walking into walls in the interim. Honestly, the best customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. I am SOOO impressed with this company and every other company out there should take notes.
I sent a question to the customer service department - and had an extremely friendly response (answering my question) back the same day. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
I had good luck for about 6 months and then my lenses became permanently smudged like the lenses from a cheap pair of readers from the dollar store. My replacement pair -- same thing.
I tried Warby Parker for the first time recently, starting off with their home try on program. After choosing the perfect frames for me, I submitted my prescription to get the ball rolling. My glasses arrived on time as promised, however, I was disappointed to find that the focal point of the lenses was incorrect, and I was unable to see clearly out of them. I emailed their help line, who suggested that I call and speak to an optician at their center, as it would be the quickest way to remedy the situation. I was able to get a hold of an optician quickly, who asked for pictures of the frames on my face so they could get an accurate optical center measurement for my new glasses. I sent the pictures on Wednesday evening, and much to my surprise, my new glasses were on my doorstep that Friday! The new glasses are PERFECT, and they corrected the lenses much quicker than I anticipated. They even allowed me to hold on to my original pair until the replacement pair arrived, and I was charged nothing for the replacement pair or its shipping costs. Throughout the whole process, emails and phone calls, Warby Parker was incredibly kind, understanding, and prompt with their responses and were very flexible to fixing this problem. It was definitely the best customer service experience I have ever had buying glasses (I have had the same lens problem elsewhere in the past) and possibly one of the best customer experiences of any company.
We ordered these glasses on March 27. They called me next day to say the rx was expired. We had gone to the doctor the day before. The prescription was one day old. However, the doctor had awful handwriting and it looked like it said 2005 and not 2015. Okay. I get that. Fine. Then we emailed and called back and forth all day. They couldn't find the correct phone number for the doctor, so I GOOGLED IT FOR THEM. Nice job guys. I figured after they had gotten the correct number, things would be moving along so I just kind of forgot about it. A week later, still no glasses. My boyfriend called and asked what was the hold up, and apparently they never got a hold of the doctor and pretty much just said, "Meh." and JUST GAVE UP ON OUR ORDER! What the hell? The guy apologised profusely and said he'd take $10 off our order. Big whoop. I got another email the next day saying they gave the doctor a call and that he should be faxing the rx over. That was a week ago. I have heard nothing more. They still have not taken the money out of my account. My boyfriend still doesn't have new glasses on his face, so he is blind as a bat. I am so pissed. I sent another email, but it's Saturday so I'm guessing we won't hear back until Monday. But the fact that they haven't charged me for anything leads me to believe that the order has still not even shipped! Stay away from this company. They have been nothing but a pain in the $#*!.
I happen to really like Wharby Parker eyeglasses. I have a pair. My son has a few, and my daughter just ordered some. She needed them before leaving for a trip 3 weeks out and was assured that would not be an issue. After 2 weeks she began calling customer service and each call ended with assurances that her glasses would be delivered the next day. Finally, 2 days befor the trip I called and had a supervisor get involved. He assured me again that the glasses were ready to go out. He changed the delivery address to my home and said he would get back with tracking info. He never did. I called him. Again he promptly follow up one way or the other by the end of the day. Sadly and I suppose not surprisingly he did not.
Mistakes/issues occur. But it seems after day upon day getting assurances which were false all credibility was lost.
Please treat your customers with enough respect to tell them exactly what is going on. And give your customer service people some way to get real information they can pass along.
I've purchased glasses for 40+ years, which I wear part time after taking out my contact lenses. These are by far the best eyeglass value purchase I've ever had, at $125. My last pair was $475, which I had lost on a business trip, and so I needed a new pair. I wear 10 diopter lenses, and I paid $30 for high index lenses, result was fine for me. I could have paid an additional $70 for super high index, but I elected to try the regular high index lenses, and I am happy with their thickness. The additional $30 was worthwhile, which lenses were similar thickness to my previous $475 pair. I especially liked the trial frames process, which let me try on several pair at home, and get feedback from my wife and others. Online ordering was easy uploading my prescription, etc, and when I needed customer service for a question, they were fast and very helpful. I was super impressed with the quick product delivery (4 days after order). I found the frame quality to be fully acceptable, with the lens quality to be oustanding. At this price point ($125), these were an extraordinary value - again, I cannot emphasize this enough - AN EXTRAORDINARY VALUE. Very nice hardshell case also included, an unexpected surprise. Definitely recommend, will order another pair as backup/alternate.
Warby Parker says that prices include prescription lenses for $90... this is only half true... this does not include progressive prescriptions... Use Zenni for great quality and best prices!
These are poor quality lenses with poor customer service. You get what you pay for, and I would not recommend using Warby Parker.
I ordered high index lenses because I cannot use polycarbonate lenses. My glasses arrived and I noticed that my eyes hurt when I wore them. I give it a few days to adjust, but when my eyes continued to hurt, I started to suspect that they were polycarbonate, which have made my eyes hurt in the past.
I emailed Warby Parker to confirm that they sent the high index lenses, as I ordered. I thought they had perhaps mistakenly sent the wrong lenses. Nope. It turns out they intentionally sent me different lenses than I'd ordered without telling me. I get an email back telling me that they filled my order with regular lenses because in their experience those lenses are better for my prescription. They did not consult me about this decision, or even inform me. So, naively thinking they had sent me what I ordered, I used glasses that made my eyes hurt for days before realizing the problem. When I explained the problem, they recommended that I speak to one of their doctors or go into their stores, but didn't explain why they would change my order without consulting me. I've already wasted enough time with this company, I do not intend to spend any more time in hopes that they will fix the problem they created, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
They sent me frames to try on, they quality is very good. I didn't purchase any - just didn't find the perfect pair - good colors and very current designs.
No, they don't make their own glasses. Every time I call asking where my glasses are, they say they're at the "lab" but they can't contact the "lab." What a scam.

Trying on glasses can be a pain. Not every frame and shape works on every face, so the process consists mostly of guessing and testing. How your face is shaped can determine a lot of this, so buying glasses online is a bad idea.
Or is it? If you'd rather get an idea of the sorts of frames that work with your face without spending time in a store, check out Warby Parker's online showroom. Here you can not only browse an online store full of different sorts of glasses, but also upload a picture of yourself to try on glasses digitally.
The idea simply is that you'll like what you see and purchase glasses from Warby Parker, but you're by no means obligated to. If you just want to see if certain shapes look good on your face you're welcome to; there's no registration process for doing so.
There are only 46 glasses to choose from at this time, but it's still a great way to get a feel for the sorts of glasses that could work for you.
Have fun with it.
